Pretty good, decently priced, not quite what I'm used to at home but it was still good, and I was happy to find bahn mi in MKE.

Tucked in a strip mall with very limited parking spots. Saigon Baguette is their second location (first being Pho Ever in Hales Corner) and mainly a takeaway spot. The pho flavor and broth is decent here but not a lot of veggies or meat. Definitely consider ordering takeout from them if you're craving pho and are in the city!

We just got back from a two week trip to Vietnam and were missing the Banh mi's. We stopped here to get our fix. We ordered a mango smoothie, crab Rangoons, the special combo Banh mi and the grilled pork Banh mi. Everything was very good. The sandwiches were pretty comparable to the ones we had in Vietnam. They had a little less flavor but still very good. The service was fast and friendly. We received our food in five minutes. We will be back whenever we need our Vietnamese fix!

Saigon baguette was great this evening! The restaurant itself is small and no frills, but comfortable enough to dine in. It also did seem like they were doing plenty of take out orders as well. We ordered pho with beef, spring rolls, avocado smoothie with Boba, and had to try a Vietnamese sandwich to go! Everything was absolutely delicious, but the Vietnamese sandwich is a MUST TRY! The bread tasted so fresh and crusty and the meat and veggies inside were perfectly seasoned. Reminds me of the banh mi sandwiches I ate in Vietnam. So good I forgot to get a picture of it! the other items we got were also very good, only complaint my boyfriend had was that they had pre portioned sides of sirracha and hoisin to add to the pho and he prefers when he can add it right from the bottles. Also, the service was so friendly and very fast. We will definitely be back!!

So yummy! Definitely scratched my itch for a good banh mi. The combo was exactly how I expected. Affordable sandwiches, fresh baguettes, quick service!

So good!! Not too promising from the strip mall exterior, but every single thing our group of 8 ordered was great.

While the Xiao Long Bao is quite good, it is not great principally because the dumpling wrappers are twice as thick as the best versions of this dish making them chewier and very doughy. They are also so large you cannot enjoy them in a single bite and inevitably need a small bowl for leakage as you're eating them because you will make such a mess. Naturally, you want the ball so you can drink the broth that ends up in it. The Szechuan Spicy Wontons have a wonderful seasoning and sauce, but frequently are overcooked so the wrappers are a little too soft and mushy. I prefer them slightly al dente. The Salt and Pepper Chicken is consistently the best executed dish I've had there. Also known as Taiwanese, popcorn chicken, these bite-size lean pieces of chicken are perfectly fried and satisfying crispy. We were both surprised with how much we liked each sampling in our Sake Flight -- $12 (5oz) they went from dry to sweet as you would expect, and our biggest surprise was how much we liked the sweetest variety. Here are the three that were a part of our flight Kenbishi Kuromatsu, Gekkeikan Traditional, & Moonstone Coconut Lemongrass Nigori. An additional note, the service is generally exceptional, but the hostess stand tends to treat you as a customer to be processed not a guest to be welcomed. The interior is very basic. The tables are comfortably spaced by distance, but the bench seating is too crowded. Getting up to use the restroom feels like you're on an airplane where you're uncomfortably close to other diners. Menu details Momo Mee's Famous Xiao Long Bao $17 (Shanghai Soup Dumplings) This unique dish is filled with pork and simmered with homemade broth inside our handmade dough. Szechuan Spicy Wontons $15 Ten pieces filled with pork, ginger, onion, & Chinese green leaves. I got the grilled pork banh mi with a cup of broth (~1/2 quart, $5) with a Vietnamese iced coffee. Sandwich was good, but it wasn't very big for $10. The meat, which was good I was expecting to be pieces of grilled meat, was very sparse and very thin, like bulgogi. The broth was pretty sweet instead of savory and likely already pre-seasoned with hoisin. In terms of service, I had placed my order first. Sandwich with the coffee. My partner said he'll have the same thing. I confirmed to make sure that was also including the ice coffee, and the person that took our order said yes. We waited for a while for our order (highly recommend ordering online, we just saw different prices on their website vs online ordering service, so we thought we'd just wait to order in person), then she forgot our iced coffees. We waited some more. She only brought out one. She said oh sorry, I only rang you up for one. So we waited some more. At that point I thought she would just let us have the coffee on the house, but she did indeed ring us up. We were probably in and out with our to-go order in about 40 minutes. All in all, I'd go back for the iced coffees if I was in the area because they were good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

The shrimp paste is traditionally served with this dish so that you can add it to the broth to enhance the flavor. This broth was already so rich and delicious, and the shrimp paste made it better. The chicken fried rice was also pretty good. Chicken was juicy and rice wasn't overly salty. I know a lot of places like these aren't known for service. However, this time it was actually not bad. They refilled our glasses multiple times throughout our meal. Also, they haven't changed their prices (for not at least), so the costs now are actually average compared to other restaurants in the area with the same cuisine. I'm glad I gave this place another try! I'll definitely be back to try some other items on their menu.

Also got their spring rolls...and I'm not from Wisconsin but normally springs rolls are fried. These were not. See pics. The menu is quite extensive as they offer more than Pho. Service was fine and they were pretty attentive and offered to split our bill for us which a lot of Asian restaurants would normally not do. It's located kind of standalone and the seating appears like a food hall. But it's a decent spot for Pho
