Delicious, Casual, Affordable! I really enjoyed my meal with my boyfriend at Xankia. We were one of two parties having dinner and everything we got was great and served quick and the server was kind! We got 6 veggie egg rolls, the specialty pho, and a tofu bahn mi. All of which we enjoyed. We will be back and my boyfriend mentioned he may recommend this spot as a lunch spot for him and his coworkers

I got the grilled pork banh mi with a cup of broth (~1/2 quart, $5) with a Vietnamese iced coffee. Sandwich was good, but it wasn't very big for $10. The meat, which was good I was expecting to be pieces of grilled meat, was very sparse and very thin, like bulgogi. The broth was pretty sweet instead of savory and likely already pre-seasoned with hoisin. In terms of service, I had placed my order first. Sandwich with the coffee. My partner said he'll have the same thing. I confirmed to make sure that was also including the ice coffee, and the person that took our order said yes. We waited for a while for our order (highly recommend ordering online, we just saw different prices on their website vs online ordering service, so we thought we'd just wait to order in person), then she forgot our iced coffees. We waited some more. She only brought out one. She said oh sorry, I only rang you up for one. So we waited some more. At that point I thought she would just let us have the coffee on the house, but she did indeed ring us up. We were probably in and out with our to-go order in about 40 minutes. All in all, I'd go back for the iced coffees if I was in the area because they were good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Evie's is my local go to for Vietnamese Bondi sandwiches and Pho. But the other food on their menu…read moreis also equally delicious. I especially like their Vietnamese tacos with chicken. It's also nice that they offer Boba tea options either for dinner or lunch or to go. Easy parking with a lot right out in front on Appleton makes it an easy choice for a date lunch with my wife.

First time here. Came with two other people for a Friday lunch…read more Food: Excellent selection of food. Plenty of choices for appetizers, street food, and entrees. They also have lunch specials if you're short on time or trying to stay within a budget. For an appetizer, we got the Red Bean Sesame Balls. You get six of these delightful little hot and sweet balls with a red bean center. Probably more of a dessert than an appetizer, but that didn't stop us. Two of us ordered the Pho. I got the Seafood Pho, and the other person got the Beef Pho. Both came out plenty hot, with very generous portions even though we ordered the small size. There were lots of delicious ingredients and a flavorful broth. Both were excellent. The third person ordered the Pad Thai, which was also delicious. The meat was tender, the noodles were cooked just right, and once again, it was a generous portion. Service: We were seated right away and given menus and waters. The server did a good job helping us navigate the menu and was friendly and efficient. The only issue was the timing of the food. Two of us received our Pho while the third person had to wait for her Pad Thai. It would have been better if all three meals had arrived closer together. Instead, we had that slightly awkward round of, "You eat," "No, I'll wait," "No, it'll get cold," and "Do you want some of mine?" Atmosphere: It's a well-designed space with plenty of seating, including spots at a counter and throughout the dining room. The acoustics are a bit loud because of all the hard surfaces, and the volume of the music added to the overall noise level. At times, it was difficult to hear someone across the table without leaning in. Overall, an excellent meal. I would definitely stop in again, either to order the exact same thing or to try something new.
