As a lover of pho and someone who works in FiDi, this is a great lunch or post-work spot. It is small inside with only a few tables, but they have a quick take-out counter as well. They do try and turn over the tables quickly. It is usually quite hot inside as well - which is pro/con depending on the season! The pho bowls are around $18 which is on par with most locations in NYC. The portions are very large. We got the flank & brisket, and the catfish. The catfish was unfortunately very soggy rather than crispy and the broth was really oily, but the beef as well as chicken pho I really enjoy. It is not as flavorful as other pho I have had around the city or travelling, but it's a solid lunch spot if you're nearby. We also had the summer roll on this lunch trip (shrimp with veggies, $9)
No frills, no problem. Show up at Pho Maiden Lane and you'll get a tiny space with a few wooden tables suited mostly for pairs or solo diners. Put in your order from the simple menu of Vietnamese staples, and your food will come out in five minutes. Simple menu executed very well, my pho was delicious. I got the brisket and flank, and was very satisfied with the broth, the noodles, and the meat. The broth had that complex collection of pho flavors that had me slurping from a spoon before I even touched the noodles (which were also delicious). Great option for a quicker lunch in the area that doesn't compromise on quality or taste!
This is one of three (I believe) locations of this chain in Fidi. There's also Pho Fulton and Pho John St. The menus and quality are all identical, just less or more seating. So happy to have pho in the neighborhood. It's always consistent and the people are nice.
As a an avid pho consumer, I have high standards for what I would consider a good bowl of pho. The bowl was large, but I think the portion size was to compensate for the lack of authenticity and flavor. The broth lacked a majority of the aromatics that makes pho flavorful. It was watery and bland. The noodles were overcooked and started disintegrating into the soup. I was disappointed because I wanted to like this place so much. The pho was also $21 after tip. Not worth it. The staff were friendly though. There also isn't much seating, I would advise avoiding this restaurant.
Pho Maiden Lane never disappoints when it comes to lunch and dinner! Today we tried something new and got the fried Catfish Bahn Mi, and let me tell you it was everything! I added the sauce they provided and added the perfect kick. I ordered and maybe a 5 min wait, it's a small place with some seating but it's the perfect little spot. Prices are always a deal so how could you not come in!
It's a tiny spot with huge pho soup bowls. Pho Maiden Lane is pretty good.. it's not my fav Vietnamese restaurant but it reminds me of the place I used to go with my family in California. Pho broth is full of msg but it's also full of meat and noodles. So it'll do the job..you're going to be very full. The sandwich is okay as well. I think I got the special Bahn mi but inside there was not much there. I could've skipped the sandwich for sure. Very busy during lunch as it's a neighborhood favorite. Make sure to tell the waiter if you want to stay or go. Because they're overwhelmed with orders and just assume people want take out.
Dear god where do I even begin? Finding Bun Cha Hanoi or any northern Vietnamese dish in the states is very difficult. Finally, I found a place with it on the menu so I had to come by. Although slightly more expensive than usual, I cannot complain because this meal was worth every penny spent. I am coming back tomorrow for more! The restaurant itself is small and cozy -- there was no wait. Our server was kind and attentive as well.
small, comforting restaurant with extremely fast service. took less than 30 min to order, eat, and pay. was in the wall street area and didn't want to travel too far for pho. this place is very close to wtc and had decent prices, so I was very happy to try! no music, but very clean. their portions are insanely massive, but flavor was lacking, unfortunately. the pho broth tasted watered down, and the limes/sriracha didn't help much. appreciated the amount of meatballs, however!
Cozy Pho spot on Maiden Lane! Got the Beef Ball Pho ($16) which came out quickly and had a generous portion of noodles and meatballs. Noodles were nice and chewy but the broth itself doesn't have much flavor. The addition of cilantro, bean sprouts, lime etc definitely makes it better. Not much seating, so either grab to-go, or try and go early.
Really enjoyed the beef pho and the spring rolls. The food came out quickly once you are able to get your order in. The challenge with this place is that it's small and only has a free seats for dine in which means they get swamped with to go orders and food pick up so they neglect the diners at the table. They haven't been able to nail down service in coverage during prime lunch time... With that said, go early so you can get your food and leave with in your lunch hour or order to go and pick it up if you don't have more than an hour lunch. Look forward to returning to try other menu items because the food was hot and good portioned.
The five stars review is strictly for their Banh mi sandwich. Pho Maiden Lane is a small yet cozy Vietnamese restaurant. I am currently obssessed with their grilled pork banh mi. It's one of the best I have ever had! It has so many flavors. The baguette stood out. It was fresh and crispy. The bahn mi had plenty of meat and pickled veggies. The grilled pork was flavorful. They offer many other Vietnamese dishes, but the banh mi is great!
I found an affordable banh mi place near my work! The sandwich was about 11 bucks (I went for the catfish sandwich). The sandwich was OK although I do get a little concerned when I eat fish during a work day. Service was quick and it was very filling. I liked that this place accepted credit cards. The place is small, but it does have seating available. I wish they offered shrimp banh mi, which I didn't see.
Great spot to pop into if you're near the World Trade Center - very good pricing and excellent flavorful food. The vermicelli dry noodles with tofu were light and fresh, and the tofu itself had a lot of flavor. The bahn mi special combo had a good ratio of meat to veggies to bread and was perked up nicely by the addition of the smokey chili flake condiment that was on the table. It is a small restaurant- there were maybe 16 seats total in there? so it's better for take out and definitely not big groups. There is not a bathroom available that I saw. read more

Ambiance (4/5): The establishment is very small and tight but there was seating available for me on a Thursday at 3pm. Brightly lit, clean, and not loud. Service (5/5): The service was extremely quick to order and also for the food to come out! After the meal, I went to the front counter to pay. Flank Pho $16 (3/5): Sadly, I did not enjoy the pho because the broth was just ok. The portion of meat was only a dollop and it was of low quality since it was tough to chew. The bowl is quite large and overal portion was filling enough. read more
Humble little gem in Manhattan, what a tasty bowl of pho, and absolutely shareable. We ate the tacos 10/10 and the shrimp summer rolls. The pho was the flank and added chicken and egg. Phenomenal place for a quick lunch. Hearty if you're looking for hearty, light, refreshing, flavorful if you're not into needing a nap afterwards. Service is hyper efficient. Inside is a bit sparse, but tailor-made for the quick, value packed bite near the 9/11 Memorial. Being a tourist from a place with a lack of southeastern Asian fare, Vietnamese sounded like a solid choice. We found a seat and poured over the menu. I wasn't going to pass up an opportunity to over order cheap eats, so we went with two apps, two mains for the meal. The bahn mi was fantastic. A nice edge of spice with some sweet savor gave a nice contrast; the contrast theme, as would be expected, continued with the light bread to crunchy vegetation and the density of the meat. Nor was it a short portion; the sandwich in itself was more than enough to satisfy my hunger. The best offering was the spring rolls (truth be told, I wish I had gotten the duck, but veered and went with the standard, pork). Most notably, other than it being rocket exhaust hot, was the incredibly light, crispy outer. To say these were fried to perfection is a lazy expression. The normal sweet chili sauce was presented. The summer rolls with shrimp were average. Generally, if you've had a decent summer roll, then you've had these. All in all, highly recommended. Hard to say if the service or the meal was better, but both very, very good. read more

Dropped by for a quick meal and was promptly seated. I wanted something light, so I went with the chicken tacos, while my wife ordered the chicken pho. Both dishes were fantastic! The chicken was grilled to perfection, and the flavors in both meals were absolutely amazing. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable. A great spot for a satisfying and affordable meal--highly recommend! read more

Thoroughly satisfied with this experience. I haven't enjoyed much of the pho I've had in NYC I've gotta be honest. Very pleased that I found somewhere that 100% lives up to my pho standard lol the server was amazing. Very kind, patient and helpful. The menu is simple and straight to the point. No confusion. Pho Maiden Lane for my first experience was great !!! The location is kinda small but the staff is very accommodating if you have to wait a little but to be seated. The staff service was extremely nice & prompt . I had the Steamed Vegetable Dumplings & Beef Stew Pho and they were both amazing & delicious. Of all the establishments in the 5 boros where i have had Pho i will say they had the best & most fulfilling bowl. This location will definitely be top priority on my list if i am in the area or if i would like the same dishes or to try something different on the menu . I am a very tough person to please & this place definitely exceeded my expectations read more

Super fast (food came out in 2min) and yummy!! Recommend the catfish salad. Big portions and very low key spot with adequate seating. The Thai tea was too sweet but coffee was good. read more
