Excellent food! Amazing on a cold rainy day. I recommend trying their delicious Thai Tea and the Vegetarian Dumplings!!!

Bun Cha Vermicelli Noodle

Dear god where do I even begin? Finding Bun Cha Hanoi or any northern Vietnamese dish in the states is very difficult. Finally, I found a place with it on the menu so I had to come by. Although slightly more expensive than usual, I cannot complain because this meal was worth every penny spent. I am coming back tomorrow for more! The restaurant itself is small and cozy -- there was no wait. Our server was kind and attentive as well.

small, comforting restaurant with extremely fast service. took less than 30 min to order, eat, and pay. was in the wall street area and didn't want to travel too far for pho. this place is very close to wtc and had decent prices, so I was very happy to try! no music, but very clean. their portions are insanely massive, but flavor was lacking, unfortunately. the pho broth tasted watered down, and the limes/sriracha didn't help much. appreciated the amount of meatballs, however!

Pho Beef Ball Noodle Soup

Cozy Pho spot on Maiden Lane! Got the Beef Ball Pho ($16) which came out quickly and had a generous portion of noodles and meatballs. Noodles were nice and chewy but the broth itself doesn't have much flavor. The addition of cilantro, bean sprouts, lime etc definitely makes it better. Not much seating, so either grab to-go, or try and go early.

Really enjoyed the beef pho and the spring rolls. The food came out quickly once you are able to get your order in. The challenge with this place is that it's small and only has a free seats for dine in which means they get swamped with to go orders and food pick up so they neglect the diners at the table. They haven't been able to nail down service in coverage during prime lunch time... With that said, go early so you can get your food and leave with in your lunch hour or order to go and pick it up if you don't have more than an hour lunch. Look forward to returning to try other menu items because the food was hot and good portioned.

Fried Catfish Taco

Humble little gem in Manhattan, what a tasty bowl of pho, and absolutely shareable. We ate the tacos 10/10 and the shrimp summer rolls. The pho was the flank and added chicken and egg. It was just perfect the service was fast and they're attentive. I'll definitely see you there. It is small but classic.

It was a clean place, good service, portions were good. But..for me the pho lacked some taste, the broth was not as prevalent in the dish.

Got a beef ball pho to go as my dinner since I live nearby, and it was pretty good. The broth was more reminiscent of Northern pho (lighter) and I could have used more bean sprouts and some sauce.

Grilled Pork Bahn Mi

The five stars review is strictly for their Banh mi sandwich. Pho Maiden Lane is a small yet cozy Vietnamese restaurant. I am currently obssessed with their grilled pork banh mi. It's one of the best I have ever had! It has so many flavors. The baguette stood out. It was fresh and crispy. The bahn mi had plenty of meat and pickled veggies. The grilled pork was flavorful. They offer many other Vietnamese dishes, but the banh mi is great!

I found an affordable banh mi place near my work! The sandwich was about 11 bucks (I went for the catfish sandwich). The sandwich was OK although I do get a little concerned when I eat fish during a work day. Service was quick and it was very filling. I liked that this place accepted credit cards. The place is small, but it does have seating available. I wish they offered shrimp banh mi, which I didn't see.

The $15 pho with grilled pork chop tasted jerky-like and not juicy pork. I was sad nd we did not finish the bowl.

Ambiance (4/5): The establishment is very small and tight but there was seating available for me on a Thursday at 3pm. Brightly lit, clean, and not loud. Service (5/5): The service was extremely quick to order and also for the food to come out! After the meal, I went to the front counter to pay. Flank Pho $16 (3/5): Sadly, I did not enjoy the pho because the broth was just ok. The portion of meat was only a dollop and it was of low quality since it was tough to chew. The bowl is quite large and overal portion was filling enough.

Phenomenal place for a quick lunch. Hearty if you're looking for hearty, light, refreshing, flavorful if you're not into needing a nap afterwards. Service is hyper efficient. Inside is a bit sparse, but tailor-made for the quick, value packed bite near the 9/11 Memorial. Being a tourist from a place with a lack of southeastern Asian fare, Vietnamese sounded like a solid choice. We found a seat and poured over the menu. I wasn't going to pass up an opportunity to over order cheap eats, so we went with two apps, two mains for the meal. The bahn mi was fantastic. A nice edge of spice with some sweet savor gave a nice contrast; the contrast theme, as would be expected, continued with the light bread to crunchy vegetation and the density of the meat. Nor was it a short portion; the sandwich in itself was more than enough to satisfy my hunger. The best offering was the spring rolls (truth be told, I wish I had gotten the duck, but veered and went with the standard, pork). Most notably, other than it being rocket exhaust hot, was the incredibly light, crispy outer. To say these were fried to perfection is a lazy expression. The normal sweet chili sauce was presented. The summer rolls with shrimp were average. Generally, if you've had a decent summer roll, then you've had these. All in all, highly recommended. Hard to say if the service or the meal was better, but both very, very good.

The food always arrives hot, is always well packaged and tasty. My personal go to is the SHAKING BEEF Bo Luc Lac Stir fried Angus steak cube) bun. It is served Served w. Side Salad & Nuoc Cham: (Romaine, Cucumber, Pickled Mustard, Grape Tomatoes, Carrots & Daikon). I appreciate the choice of Vermicelli rice noodle, Thai Jasmine rice or Solely Salad. I always choose rice and the packaging is amazing, the beef is kept seperate from the rice and arrives hot and aromatic. My mom also loves this dish but ordered it with the solely salad and opts for double veggies. We have also tried several of the bahn mini including the lemongrass chicken, the brisket and the braised short rib. All are tasty. I do recommend adding the dip for $1 as it really takes it to the next level! I ordered the lychee iced tea sweetened today. It was sweet but not too sweet which I appreciated and as with everything from 5ive spice very thoughtfully packaged in a way that there is no leaking in transit. 5ive spice has some great all day and happy hour specials, I look forward to trying their food in person when I am in the area. Customer service: One time, on a particularly busy weekend in NYC, I received the wrong bahn mi sandwich. I ordered the brisket bahn mi and received the lemongrass chicken. When I called 5ive Spice, I spoke to the manager John who was incredibly apologetic and explained it was a very busy night, without offering excuses. He offered a full refund and invited me to order again and call and he would include a complimentary bahn mi. For what it's worth, it was a very busy night in NYC, all of the restaurants we were trying to get take out or delivery from were quoting 2+ hours, and John handled the situation perfectly. The food we received was tasty and did arrive on time.

I got the pho ($21.78), which is steep for pho, but I guess that's Midtown prices for you. The wait was a slog--over 20 minutes for a bowl of pho, which other Yelp reviews warned about. When it finally arrived, the soup lacked that authentic pho aroma, which was a letdown. On the plus side, the beef was fresh, and the reusable to-go bag was a nice touch. Decent, but the wait and price make it hard to love. Might try again if they speed things up.

After waiting 30 minutes, for what is literally the simplest item on the menu, the bowl is brought out and it's a bowl of broth with a couple slices of chicken. No noodles. When I inquired, the server told me it's because I ordered the Plain Pho... yea and I said it comes with noodles and broth. They told me they could get me noodles, but acted like they were doing me a favor by fetching noodles for me, which was quite offputting because the noodles were quite literally half of the dish I actually ordered. How does one wait half-an-hour at a very casual fast Vietnamese food place, for premade soup and noodles, and still have the order wrong? In the end, I did get my noodles and broth, but the fact that I had to spend this much time and also justify my request for noodles (which are part of the dish) is quite insane. I put this at 2 stars for now, because I enjoyed my first time. Hopefully the service will improve.
