The seafood Tom yum not authentic
    Laila R.

If you're looking for good authentic Thai food this is not the place. I bookmarked this place because 4.4 stars i was excited to try. It was nowhere near my hotel but i made the trek over to Love Mama cause i wanted something good for dinner that wasn't pizza. Nothing had flavor. The flavor of everything was oil. The only thing that saved the meal was the sambal we requested. We slathered it in our food for flavor. The Pineapple fried rice, so bland zero flavor I didn't even get a Pineapple and usually there is cashews in this dish and there were none of those in there either. The Tom yum was the best thing we tried but it wasn't authentic. The drunken noodles didn't have fresh Thai basil in it, it had dried regular basil in it, my son asked why it tasted like Italian food is that oregano on top. If you look close you'll see it in the photo dried crushed basil. I really hate leaving bad reviews but they fact this place has such a high rating is insane.

Casual restaurant, friendly service, ok food. I had high expectations for the food based on reviews and thought it was mediocre. Tasty but not standout and had the feel of food off a hot station/buffet line. Prices are decent, portion size certainly filling.

Fusion Asian restaurants are usually a problem and this one was no different. I had a delivery order of Shrimp Summer Roll, Northern Style Papaya Salad, Malaysian Fried Fish Fillet and Vietnamese Lemon Grass Chicken. The appetizers...shrimp spring rolls and papaya salad were quite good. However, the main dishes were lacking. The lemon grass chicken was overcooked and had only the mildest "scent" of lemon grass. The Malaysian Fried Fish Fillet reminded me of Americanized sweet and sour sauce and nothing like what I remember having in Malaysia. I should have known to get the Nasi Goreng, instead. Packing and delivery were fine, but in all, a disappointing meal. Cannot recommend.

An amazing lunch special in the east village! The restaurant is empty on weekdays but their lunch specials are so worth it and delicious. It comes with your choice of a main as well as a drink. The service was quick and efficient and I loved the music and decor of the restaurant too. Highly recommend for a quick and affordable lunch!

The food was phenomenal here. Service was great and fast. It's a cozy corner restaurant close to a concert that I was heading to at Irving plaza.

Really delicious fusion Asian food. The menu offered Malaysian, Thai, and Vietnamese food and they were all tasty

There's a mix of malaysian, thai, and viet food on the menu. The laksa has a thick, flavorful broth. I also really liked the roti canai and the flakey roti!

Staffs are friendly. There's Vietnamese, Malaysian, and Thai cuisine all under one roof. I had a bowl of Pho Beef in a cold winter weekend which was much needed. The Pho Beef was great and ended the night with desserts- Mango Sticky Rice Coconut Cream. A fresh slice of mango covered with coconut cream on top of layer of sticky rice. Let the servers know if you're allergic to sesame seeds because they sprinkled some on top of the Mango Sticky Rice Coconut Cream. Overall, food was delicious. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5

My girlfriend & I came on a Saturday afternoon & it was empty. We were seated right away and our orders were taken within 10 min. It had a simple oriental ambiance with both indoor & outdoor seating. We started off with the roti canai which was freshly prepared (the curry not being too spicy at all) we had a Thai noodle dish and a Malaysian curry noodle dish (both were kinda spicy) but super tasty! I usually don't enjoy spicy dishes due to my low tolerance but I could definitely find myself getting these dishes again. Very friendly staff and even tastier food, would recommend if you're in the st marks area looking for Malaysian/thai eats

It's a very informal setting. The food is good but it's more of a "let's eat and go" vibe. I ordered their chicken laska which has a wonderful flavor! I would do this with seafood next time around. Their shrimp summer rolls were also fresh and delicious. Food is reasonably priced and the staff is friendly.

Walking past this unassuming but heart-warming restaurant and decided to make a stop here. Oh so glad I did! Loveee the Rendang Nasik Lemak - the beef was so tender and the curry had a kick too. The roti was phenomenal and came out piping out. Mango sticky rice was also delicious - the mango was sweet and ripe. Very friendly owner and staff. Would love to come back!

Tried this place on the East side of town after reading some reviews. Was greeted and seated right away on a slow Monday night. The place is simple and clean, no frills with respect to ambience. Ordered the Roti Canai for an appetizer. The Roti was buttery and flaky as it should be. The lentil dip could maybe be better. The entree of PadSee Ew was very good. Tender chicken slivers with noodles done perfectly. This was the first time that I can think of when I was not asked 'What level of Spice?' In a Thai restaurant. Worth a return trip next time in nyc

Ordered: Malaysian Chicken Satay Shish Kebab (~$9): 4pc marinated chicken with cumin, charcoal grilled, and peanut dipping sauce Mee Goreng Lunch Set (~$14) with Beef (+$2): Mamak style stir fried egg noodle, fried tofu, egg, beansprout, peanuts, fresh lime; and Thai Iced Tea Curry Laksa Lunch Set (~$14): lemongrass curry soup, egg, mint leaves, scallion with egg noodles; and Viet Iced Coffee Mango Sticky Rice Coconut Cream (~$8) Aya's take: Almost 7k reviews for a small, unassuming place offering Thai, Vietnamese, and Malaysian cuisine!? We had to see what the hype was about. We stopped by for lunch and were seated right away. I was feeling adventurous and decided to order something new. The Mee Goreng was one option on their Lunch Set menu. The flavors are bold, layered, and deeply satisfying. It's savory from the soy sauce, fish sauce, and beef I added on. It's also sweet, spicy, and tangy and not to mention smoky from the wok. I absolutely loved it and could not put my fork down! The Curry Laksa was okay but the lemongrass and curry flavor mix wasn't as satisfying as I thought it would be. Both came with a drink so we got to try a smaller version of their Thai Iced Tea and Viet Iced Coffee. I think I preferred the Viet Iced Coffee as it was bolder and less sweet. We ended with the Mango Sticky Rice Coconut Cream. It was warm, soft, sweet and the mango was fresh & ripe. It was definitely the right way to end the meal!

So when the server asked us what we'd like to drink, we asked for hot water (later found out we were charged $1 for each cup of hot water). We ordered the beef rendang, chicken satay and singapore noodles (with tofu and vegetables). I had been hoping to try the soft shelled crab but perhaps it's out of season or no longer on the menu as I didn't see it. The chicken satay came out first, it was 4 sticks of skewered chicken drenched in a slightly spicy creamy peanut sauce. This was the second favorite dish of the table as the chicken was tender and the peanut sauce paired well with it. The singapore noodles were unexpected the favorite of the table. The flavor profiles weren't too crazy just a simple curry flavor but mixed with the thin noodles and other ingredients, it was savory and not too heavy to eat a lot of. The beef rendang was the last dish to come out, the beef pieces were very tender and this was the spiciest dish out of all 3 that we had ordered. It came with about a bowl's worth of white rice on the side and some cucumbers and purple cabbage salad. It was a pretty okay lunch. Not the best Malaysian food I've had (Chinatown is still the best spot for me) but it's a good spot if you're craving Malaysian food in the west village area. Bathrooms were immaculately clean which is always a plus.
