Bestie asks if I've had pho, I have.. in Atlantic City and it was terrible. Imagine my shock of how delightful this space was! The broth was so delicate abut complex that the same time. I'm hooked! The service was quick and efficient.

Industrial cool interior

PGS makes a very solid banh mi, which is served on a fresh and crackly baguette. The sando is well balanced: salty lunch meat, sweet pickled carrot/daikon, and the umami funk of pate and butter smeared onto the warm bread. Service is efficient and no-nonsence, and the space personifies industrial cool with high ceilings.

Uh uh what is this. As a self proclaimed banh mi aficionado this was NOT it. First I couldn't get extra meat.. ok yall don't want my money. Second they were kinda rude.. Third.. didn't ask my spice level. I should've known then. this banh mi didn't have no taste at all. Everything put the veggies were bland. Sriracha served on the side.

The space is narrow but has a nice size room towards the back. Would be good for group since it's semi secluded towards the back. The service is a bit slow as I only ever see one or two servers for the entire place. But it's clean and airy with tall ceilings. Prices are very reasonable for the location in fidi and also considering the giant portion size! So yummy! I love pho and this is a decent spot! The soup is hot and perfect for these colder days leading up to winter. Grab yourself and go, this area was certainly missing a good Vietnamese sit down location. My fave is the beef flank and pork chop!

This is my first time here and thought I tried it out. Somewhat close by my job. Very modern looking like a hotel when you see Pho John St from outside. Big and very high windows. Once inside, you can feel a lot of space around you. They have very high ceilings! They are really high with lots of wooden planks to make it look industrial like a bar. They have small tables for one or two people. It's very long. I had to go back to work so I did take out and got a flank and brisket pho. They give a lot of noodles in this place. I almost couldn't finish. Also a lot of meat in the bowl. They also gave a lot of soup that was spilling so I had to drink some of the soup before pouring the rest into the noodles. I love the bean sprouts. Very crunchy. Also I cannot forget the mint. Brings out a lot of flavor.

{Overall: 3.5; Food: 3.5} Ambiance: 3; Service: 3 A good spot to grab a quick pho for lunch in FiDi. It's super popular, but it's generally easy to get a table even during peak hours. Food comes out within minutes. The beef pho was solid: a big bowl with good noodles, tender meat, and rich broth. The only option for chicken pho is grilled chicken. Service is fine. Very much focused on keeping everything moving, with a light-touch approach. Works for a quick, satisfying lunch.

Nice little hole in the wall, easy to miss if you are not looking for it.

Centric nice spot offering a straight forward menu of Vietnamese flare. We came for the Pho, and the experience was great. Quick sit, ordering and minutes later an amazingly hearty bowl of goodness. I ordered the flank and brisket and it was tasty. It's a very hidden spot so you'll miss it unless you know you're coming specifically for it as we did. Very lit and cozy inside.

The pho here hit the spot, especially on a drizzly summer day. The prices were very reasonable given its fidi location. We got the flank and brisket pho with the flank slices on the side to get to the perfect temperature and the combo banh mi to share. The portions were very filling where we saved the 2nd half of the sandwich for layer. The only underwhelming dish was the summer roll where the shrimps were pretty small and the fillings were not too exciting. The restaurant was spacious, with skylights and plants, and very clean. The server was friendly and the food came out very fast. I would highly recommend visiting this spot when you are in the area.

I don't walked in during a good rainy day because I desperately needed something soupy to warm me up. Growing up in Chinatown, I wasn't really expecting much from pho John because the pho restaurants in ct are so good. But I was really surprised. The soup was clean tasting and the pho was authentic. I LOVED the duck spring rolls. The waitress left me to myself for the most part but I was grateful for it.

I have come to this establishment twice for an hour lunch. They served my food promptly even with a large crowd. There are not many pho restaurants to choose from in the area and this one has pretty large portions. Overall, it's very clean inside. Though the bathroom could use some sprucing up. The pho is very delicious and hearty. I like to stop by when I need something to cure my sinuses or give me a little more energy. I wish they had an option for a smaller portion of soup because I can never finish it all. A smaller portion for a lunch price would be a great addition to the menu.

I also got the Thai ice tea (not pictured) and it was so sweet, even sipping from the top near the ice didn't help. The fried spring rolls were really good! Finally a place in NYC that uses wonton wrappers instead of rice wrappers. They are filled with meat and fried to the right amount. The pho is $16 which is a really good deal considering the portion was really big. I couldn't finish both the pho and the spring rolls on my own when I could at other places. They give a lot more noodles than meat. The broth isn't super aromatic, but it's there! The restaurant has a lot of seatings. I don't live close to FIDI, but if I'm in the area I'd make sure to swing by :)

Amazing veggie pho likely the best I've ever had. Copious amount of toppings and the broth was so rich and flavorful. I wish it came with fresh sliced jalapeños for the top but otherwise amazing. Ordered Togo and it was ready in less than ten minutes.

Very happy to see this place pop up in the area! Flank & Brisket Pho - soup came out hot (what I love), clean, herbal (but not too much) the soup flavor was well balanced for me. Sold! Spring Roll - thin wrap crispy and served hot. Delicious. Grilled Pork Banh Mi - unfortunately the bread was a bit stale and meat was a bit dry/touch. Picked carrot and daikon were great though. Will make this my regular pho spot downtown!

It was ok, ended up paying nearly $18 for the pho but I guess it's the area. Still hunting for good pho in Fidi.

Everyone we interacted with was friendly and fast/efficient. We ordered several carne asada tacos and quesadillas in addition to chips/guac. As always, everything was delicious - there's a reason they're so popular and considered one of if not the best tacos here. Similar type of location and layout as their other spots on the city. It's quick, loud, small, but efficient- quite fitting of NY. Always a good time and good food.

You know a taco spot is going to be good when there's a line out the door! While we were waiting,…read moreyou could hear both locals and visitors talking about how amazing this place is, which only made me more excited to try it for myself. The hype was absolutely worth it. The adobada tacos were hands down the best tacos I've ever had. The homemade corn tortillas were fresh and flavorful, and the adobada was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor. I also tried the carne asada tacos, which were good but definitely overshadowed by the adobada. Each taco came topped with onions, cilantro, guacamole, and salsa. Just a heads-up--the salsa packs some serious heat! Overall, this place completely lived up to the hype. If you're in the area and don't mind waiting in line, it's absolutely worth it.
