    Pad Kee Mao

Imm Thai was lovely, they had good food at a good price, packing a big punch for a small restaurant in FiDi. The honey ribs were delectable, great flavor from the sauce and crushed peanuts. The ribs themselves were okay, and the portion wasn't the biggest (though the dish is an appetizer, to be fair). The pad kee mao was fantastic, the broad noodles were chewy and well seasoned. Spice wasn't all the way there (I asked for spicy) but still a lot of great flavor. Solid Thai spot that's affordable, glad we came here!

Literally stumbled upon this place on my way home this afternoon. FiDi was one of my old haunts having worked here for nearly 10 years. Though parts of Nassau Street seems to welcome fast food, Imm caught my eye. A very small, clean space that drew crowds either for takeout or dining in, I decided to get a load off my feet since the lunch specials looked interesting. There was a staff member who did a juggling act--as hostess and taking table orders. She was very nice and efficient. I decided to order the Roast Chicken. All lunch specials were $13.50 with the option to order from the main menu, if desired. Not long after, my colorful lunch arrived. Chicken, rice and a side of steamed Carrots and Cauliflower was the presentation. Upon first glance, I saw that the Chicken wasn't roasted. It consisted of only thigh meat which was very disappointing. I couldn't figure out if the chicken tasted stir fried, teriyaki or steamed. The vegetables, although plain, were good, but I have to blame them for a lot of liquid/water surrounding the food on the plate. Tell you the truth, it was a bit off putting. The flavors were average. Rice will be rice and the jasmine variety is always good when steamed: fluffy and aromatic. But the overall execution fell short of my expectations. I was excited to try Imm when I sat down since I love Thai food, but I left underwhelmed. Maybe I should have ordered a signature dish such as Pad Thai, but rule of thumb dictates that whatever is presented on any menu should be prepared well. It seems to serve the area well, especially during lunch---working folks, tourists and everyday people. I might give it another try if in the area but will definitely order something else.

Solid Thai spot near WTC. Food came out fast and portions were generous. The pad crab curry was the standout -- rich sauce, soft eggs, fresh crab, and great with rice. Honey ribs were tender and flavorful. Fresh shrimp rolls were light and nicely balanced with the dipping sauce. Mango sticky rice was excellent and worth saving room for. Small place but nicely decorated. Prices felt reasonable for the area. Would come back.

Stopped in for a quick lunch - they have good lunch specials. I was seated quickly and the hostess was very friendly and polite. She's also the person to take your food order. It's a small place with limited seating but quite cozy. I had the Pad Kra Pao and while the meat was tasty, the egg was overcooked. I did have to ask for the condiment caddy to add a little heat. I would still return for lunch as there's not much competition in the area and the service was pleasant.

Located in fidi within walking distance of the MTA 1 and the NY/NJ PATH, the restaurant is in a pretty convenient spot for tourists and locals alike. We got to the restaurant a little late and a little before the kitchen was about to close. They were still happy to have us and provided quick and friendly service. The crab fried rice and the seafood tom yum soup was delicious. The flan as dessert was a nice touch and a definite must have. We'll be back for more! I would highly recommend this place if you have a craving for Thai food in the NYC area.

Today I stopped by here after seeing they had Khao Man Gai and had good reviews. I want to give 3 and a half stars, but can't. I ordered Khao Man Gai and Shrimp Dumplings Shrimp dumplings - good, ALOT of shrimp, the shrimp were big, the sauce had a VERY light tom yum flavor. Very good dish overall. Khao man gai - pretty tender, not that juicy, ginger rice could use more ginger. Overall: The Shrimp Dumplings are the mvp, the Khao Man gai is not as good as a few other places I've been, but it's not bad. Place is worth going to.

If you're craving authentic comfort Thai food in the heart of downtown Manhattan, Imm Thai is the spot They bring the bold flavors of Sukhothai right to NYC -- from tom yum inspired dishes to classic hometown recipes with a creative twist. We tried the Pad Thai glass noodles (so chewy, savory & satisfying ), the crab fried rice (a total must-try ), and the shrimp dumplings (perfect with their dipping sauce ). Warm vibes, friendly service, and food that hits the soul -- Imm Thai is where you go when you want comfort food done right.

Hole in the wall in fidi! I'm not sure why this place isn't more popular! Very good and quick service! Papaya salad was perfect on all the flavors but doesn't come spicy really (even though it says spicy) I prefer extra spicy so i need to ask next time. Honey Ribs were SOOOOO good, definitely on the sweet and sticky side but so good. Had to keep the sauce for my shrimp. Pad thai with rice noodles were yum. classic, on the drier side but good none the less no frills. My bf got the tomyum seafood soup that had rice noodles inside and he LOVED IT. super savory, i would prefer it more sour but he looooved it, also came w a good spice. Would return for sure and try other dishes. I will say the menu is quite limited but still delicious.

Delicious Thai food in lower Manhattan. The space is quite small but cozy. The papaya salad tasted very fresh- like they just cut the papaya! The flavor was just right- some places make it too salty or too sweet. The Thai red rib curry was recommended by the server and it was great! Tender ribs in curry sauce. Next time I would try the crab fried rice and mango sticky rice!

Stumbled upon this place during a quick trip into the city. We came around 1pm and were able to get a table right away. There's a good amount of tables and it seems pretty popular for people taking their lunch breaks. They have pretty reasonably priced lunch specials. The two of us split a Pad See Ew with chicken and the Choo Chee Pla. I also got their Butterfly Tea Lemonade. I really enjoyed the Pad See Ew. There wasn't anything wrong with the Choo Chee Pla but I'd skip it next time. We also ordered a Mango Sticky Rice at the end of our meal. Our food came out pretty quickly so we were surprised at how long our dessert took. It felt like maybe they had forgotten about it.

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the 911 memorial/museum and we were pleasantly surprised. They have a small area for seating inside and we didn't have to wait 9/10 Thai tea - not too sweet and the tea flavor was very good 8/10 pad see ew - noodles were cooked well, but portion for lunch, lacking spice (I also didn't ask so not a negative) 9/10 Ground pork dish - spicy and delicious, rice was cooked perfectly

what a great & lowkey Thai spot in the seaport area! (located on the busy Nassau street). Came in and was surprised to see seating in the back as I always thought this was a takeout spot lol. Sat down and got my order in pretty quickly. Food came out pretty quickly as well, we got the pad see ew, honey ribs & tom yum soup w/ Jasmine rice. Everything was great and I don't have any complaints. Portions were pretty big and def had some leftovers to bring home to enjoy for another day :) i definitely recommend the ribs as they aren't something you see usually in a Thai restaurant but it hit!

Came here on a hunch plus it's a new place to me I use to work in the area. I got the Pad See Ew with chicken and it is so good. Ngl I was thinking no because they use peanuts in alot of dishes but i asked and he said no. I got the lunch special and it's a very healthy amount so I can imagine what the dinner portion is like. I am definitely going back and before it comes too cold. Treat yourself if you are in the area

I came here to throw down on some seafood and that's exactly what we did. I found out about this place because one of my favorite TikTok foodies posted that she came here when she was visiting from Chicago. It was also my friend's birthday so we figured we'd check it out. If you come with a group of 4 or more, including the birthday person, they eat for free, which is a pretty nice perk. This place lived up to every bit of the hype. We did the $125 option which includes lobster. If you have people in your group who are on the fence about spending the extra money, just remind them it's only about $35 more and that's basically the cost of one lobster anywhere else. Here you're getting unlimited lobster. The food literally just kept coming. At one point we were running out of room on the table. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff noticed and started putting multiple items on the same plates instead of bringing everything out separately. It sounds small but it actually helped a lot and showed they were paying attention. The drinks weren't super strong but they definitely weren't weak either. If you love seafood, come hungry and bring a group. The vibes were great, the service was on point, and we left absolutely stuffed.

The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others.

The Fried Branzino was the whole fish and impressive looking. The Branzino was satisfyingly crispy, tender, flaky, and well seasoned. The sauce was nicely balanced and full of bold flavor. The happy hour menu is excellent, and the cocktail program is equally creative. On my most recent visit, I tried the Nam Gin Martini--unusual, beautifully balanced, and delicious. If you're dining solo, I recommend sitting at the bar, where the talented bartenders are happy to offer excellent mixology advice. There are several dishes I especially recommend. The Zabb Wings are crispy fried chicken wings tossed in a spicy, tangy dry rub of toasted rice powder, chili, lime, and mint. They're intensely flavorful and highly addictive. The Steamed Whole Fish is another standout: a whole branzino swimming in a vibrant, intensely aromatic broth of fresh chili, lime, mint, garlic, and culantro. The pork belly with chili and garlic is another dish worth ordering if you're looking for something rich, spicy, and deeply savory. Fish Cheeks was founded in 2016 by Thai immigrants--brothers Chef Ohm and Chat Suansilphong, along with Jenn Saesue and Pranwalai Kittirattanawiwat. The restaurant was born from their frustration with the homogenized "one-page" menus that dominated American Thai dining, which often centered on sweeter, standardized dishes such as Pad Thai and Massaman curry. Even the name reflects the restaurant's philosophy. The fish cheek is considered one of the most tender, flavorful, and prized parts of the fish in many Asian culinary traditions. When Fish Cheeks opened at 55 Bond Street, the team famously adopted a strict "no Pad Thai" policy, encouraging diners to explore regional Thai specialties and seafood dishes such as crab curries and whole steamed fish. It was a bold gamble that paid off, earning critical acclaim, including recognition from The New York Times. In 2022, Executive Chef Dustin Everett, formerly of Momofuku Ssam Bar and Pig & Khao, took over the kitchen, introducing seasonal dishes while preserving many of the restaurant's signature favorites. The experience extends beyond the food. Fish Cheeks plays contemporary Thai pop music, giving the restaurant a lively, distinctly modern atmosphere. It feels energetic without losing its connection to Thai culture. One important thing to know: this is not the restaurant for you if you're looking for Pad Thai. Fish Cheeks is about pushing beyond the familiar and discovering the bold, complex flavors of Thai regional cooking. The restaurant is popular, especially during peak dining hours, so reservations are highly recommended. Sitting at the bar for a cocktail and a few dishes or settling in for a full meal with friends, I always find Fish Cheeks to be one of my favorite places in NoHo for adventurous, sophisticated Thai food.
