Popped in for dinner without a reservation (party of 2, Tuesday) and were immediately seated. The place was decently occupied, and I can see it being busier - so maybe consider a reservation but it might not be completely necessary.   My friend and I chose to share the thai spicy octopus. It was just fine. I don't think I would get it again, but it was pretty decent. It's kinda spicy and come on a bed of shredded veg. I also got their cheesecake which came with a strawberry sauce - again, a very basic and enjoyable offering. Nothing stand out but nothing offensive.   I did think it was a little silly that their entrees did not come with rice - I really with that was included cause why would I kung pao chicken and not want rice with it???   The space itself is gorgeous; well decorated and dimly lit for the ultimate ambiance. Staff were very attentive. Overall fine experience.

I have been here a few times for drinks but today I had a few apps and the food gets a 10 as does their drinks. All of the food came out in a nice flow, not all at once and not rushed. Every.single.thing - DELICIOUS. It was almost packed and they were still highly attentive to taking away dirty plates and filling our glasses of water when empty as well as enduring we had another drink coming. The decor is beautiful, the restaurant is clean, and the service is top tier.

First time visit with friends and I have mixed feelings. To start, the space is really pretty and adorned with fake Palm trees. If there's a reservation in place, all members of the party must be present to be seated. I arrived earlier than my friends and took a seat at the bar. There's daily happy hour specials, both food and drinks, until 6:30 PM. I didn't have any alcohol/drinks, but the ones my friends ordered looked good--wine, Espresso Martini and Yuzu Sour cocktail. We were in different moods when it came to appetizers. I selected the Chicken Satay and the other selections were Spring Rolls and Rainbow Pork Soup Dumplings. Portions were generous. I couldn't help but notice the lovely color effect of the soup dumplings. My friends enjoyed their appetizer choices and speaking for the Chicken Satay--it was pretty good although at first I thought the chicken was undercooked. For mains, the selections were Tofu with eggplant, Duck and Chicken with Broccoli (my selection). I think everyone was pleased with their choices. I asked for the brown sauce on the side and was accommodated. The Chicken and Broccoli was healthily steamed but the texture of the chicken was odd. I've seen this at other Asian restaurants--chicken sliced very thin but with a noticeable texture flaw. Still, I ended up eating it. We never felt rushed and hung out for a couple hours. The damper of the evening was the inability of the staff to properly split the check among our three credit cards as requested. I don't know if it was a Toast issue but it took 40 minutes to resolve. Kind of frustrating. I'm hoping it was a one off experience because I'd like to return to get a better opinion of the food.

My friend and I went to Palm Street around 5pm on a Wednesday. The interior has a cute and classy ambiance with fake palm trees throughout with mood lighting. You may need a reservation if you're dining at a later time, but it was not necessary for 5pm. It happened to be the first night they were debuting a new special menu (I procrastinated on writing a review). So, my friend and I both got the braised beef noodle soup ($19). Pricing is pretty good for the area! The noodles were the perfect texture and consistency, and the beef was cooked well. However, I wanted more flavor in the broth. It had a natural beef flavor, but for the first time in my life, I elected to add chili oil to the soup because I needed more flavor! I think I went in expecting more of a laksa-type broth, so the mild flavor was a miss. Service was phenomenal. There were so many check-backs, water refilling, etc. At one point, my friend sipped water and it went down the wrong pipe. I swear every front-of-house staff came in to check-in on us. I would return to try another dish because the staff was so welcoming!

DISCLAIMER: this restaurant honestly wouldn't qualify as "Thai" but the food is still good anyways so that's what I'm basing this off of. They have a good happy hour here with wine at $5, certain cocktails at $8 and appetizers for $5. The pad Thai wasn't bad, but I wouldn't get the lamb chops again. The inside of this place is super cute and the service was fast for being packed. This is definitely somewhere I'd suggest for a cheap happy hour with above average food!

Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 2/5 What at atmospheric hidden gem of Wall Street. Amazing vibes--like you enter a tropical oasis, escaping the concrete jungle outside. Felt like we were on a vibrant island, far from hustle and bustle of the working neighborhood. Really great vibes. Would return just for this. Pretty cutlery and dishes--attention to detail made this an enjoyable experience. Staff were superb. Great service. Good lunch deals. A hot & sour soup or a ginger dressing salad with an entree ($15-18). Great place for a business lunch. Best hot & sour soup I've ever had. Would return just for this and would order this as a Stand alone dish. Such flavorful broth and ample tofu and veggies. Perfect to warm up and savor, especially on a cold day. Pad Thai with beef was meh. I prefer a saucier pad Thai, and this one was on a blander & drier side. Only five pieces of beef. It tasted better as leftovers, once it got some time to soak up more flavors and gain some flavor. Spicy Eggplant Garlic Sauce was delicious--big portion of sautéd eggplants. Fried rice was on the bland side.

Cute new restaurant in FiDi! Came here to grab a quick meal before the 4th of July fireworks, and it was pretty good! Service was fast and good, and vibes were good-- great to come with friends or a casual date. - Pad Thai: 9/10 (decent pad Thai! Not the best I've tried, but it was still very good) - Duck: 8/10 (duck was ok but a bit chewy!)

Super cute new Thai spot in Fidi! The decor is adorable and is super on theme. The wine list is solid and cocktails looked amazing. We started with a bottle of decoy and then moved to some apps with the honey walnut shrimp which was TO DIE FOR! Sooooo yummy highly recommend!! The chicken satay was good - no complaints. The pad Thai with tofu was alright, the tofu left something to be desired. The a5 wagyu sandwich was eh. Not sure what exact cut of meat that was but I would not order that again..... All in all a good experience! Would come back for drinks + honey walnut shrimp all day

Great addition to the neighborhood!! The interior at Palm Street is beautiful, which makes it the perfect place to catch up with friends-- such a nice oasis in the Financial District! The service was extremely attentive, and we had no trouble getting a table on a weeknight. They have happy hour until 6:30pm, and the drinks are very affordable! I had the Yuzu Sour, which was super light. You can barely taste the alcohol. We had the Lychee Shrimp Ball as an appetizer. The shrimp balls were so crispy and came with a delicious sauce. The presentation was gorgeous as well! I had the Chicken Pad Thai for my entree. Pretty good, I'd say it was above average. Super happy this spot is open now and can't wait to try other items on the menu!

Stopped by Palm Street for lunch on a Sunday afternoon when the restaurant was relatively active but not too crowded. Nice decor with palm trees. We had the Duck Breast and Chicken Pad Thai - good flavors on both especially the Pad Thai. Friendly, attentive service. Nice addition to the Financial District!

Walked passed this restaurant and liked the look and vibe of the restaurant so we decided to pop in. The place is lovely, they have numerous palm trees (faux lol) that makes the place stand out and keeps true to the name! Upon entering we were greeted and seated very quickly. Where asked our water preference and given menus. They do ask if anyone at the table had any allergies. We ordered the rainbow summer rolls which was a lovely looking dish and tasty as well. We wanted to go the noodle route but was informed that all the noodle dish have oyster sauce in them. So we passed on that and got the veggie fried rice. For dessert we ordered the strawberry cheese cake which was good.

Came here to waste a lil free time - was drawn to the space because it is simply beautiful. I got a Mango Juice and the Plum Wings.. unfortunately the plum wings were not cleaned thoroughly and fried with very little seasoning . I was so hungry so I ate it all but my stomach did hurt after. The staff is very nice so that was a bummer.

I just had the juices for take out, the bag they give is insulated and very nice. Cute decor but the drinks took a while taste fresh tho! Pretty sweet lemonade.

So good. For my "second visit" (aka my takeout order five minutes later), I swapped the coconut rice for the cold quinoa and bean salad -- also delicious. The second bowl had fewer mushrooms, but they weren't the headliner for me anyway. The true stars? The black beans, pickled onions, and that dreamy butternut cashew cheese. I would like to formally thank whoever invented that combination. But the real reason I'll keep coming back to this restaurant anytime I am anywhere near this neighborhood? The Matcha Latte. I had it iced with my meal -- so good even the melted ice tasted fancy. Then I had it hot with a Chunk Chocolate Cookie which is dangerously delicious but that hot matcha was rich, smooth, and absolutely scrumptious. I even went online afterward to hunt for the Matcha recipe in her cookbooks (turns out there's a lot of matcha desserts, which may or may not be a problem for future me). Bottom line: I will absolutely be back -- probably "just for a matcha"... and somehow leave with a cookie again.

For my entree, I ordered the vodka rigatoni and a side of buttered broccoli. The vodka rigatoni was really good - liked the flavor and a decent size of pasta. The broccoli was really good for some reason to me. Also tried the truffle mac and cheese which was incredibly rich and tasted great. As a dessert, we had the chocolate pie which was dense, rich, and topped with a huge dollop of whipped topping. I really liked the atmosphere of the place, loud roaring 20s style with jazz playing. Plus I kept finding myself checking out the mural on the wall. Try it for yourself - but worth the fight to get a table.
