The birria tacos were really good (or so my son said) but sadly the taquitos were terrible. They literally just had unseasoned shredded chicken (but serves me right for ordering something so basic). I tried 4 different tacos which I'll review in the order that I liked most: My favorite, surprisingly, was the Breakfast Taco! The chorizo was great and it wasnt too much egg. There was a nice tang to the sauce in this one too. Second, I loved the Al Pastor. It had a lot of meat and a perfect spice to it too! And the pineapple made it juicy. My friend recommended Taco Vision, so I opted for their rooftop / outdoor seating area. I am ranking 3 stars, only because there were multiple sightings of bugs on the table while we dined. The wall we shared with the table had grass (fake grass?) covered all over it, so I'm guessing that's why. However, it was a little gross seeing so many critters. Unlimited Tacos & Margaritas need I say more ?! The Margaritas here are so good and I honestly was hesitant the first time trying. This is my third visit and they keep getting better ! I love that they have now added a shrimp taco to the unlimited options. Chefs kiss. If you don't eat meat or seafood they have Brussel sprouts and sweet potato which are also good! Each taco plate comes with two tacos - a cry from the three I am used to back home. I tried both their Crispy Brussels Sprouts and the Mushroom Tacos sans crema ($9 each) and they were delicious. The mushrooms were my favorite: moist, nicely seasoned, and juicy. We also got their Chips & Guac as well as some Yucca Fries for the table. You're not really saving that much on Taco Tuesday's though since most tacos are $8 for two on regular days minus certain meats like steak and shrimp. We were able to get great HH pricing - Mexican pizza, tacos, some meat free options, tequila flights, margaritas, beers, etc. Nothing was bad but some things like the pizza were the ones we were passing around for others to try. I made a reservation in through Open Table for the 20/20 experience (bottomless tacos and drinks). Overall, it was a great experience, although I likely would only come back for the bottomless drinks aspect, as you might think that you can put away lots of tacos but our table averaged 3-4 per person, as they are quite filling. If you reserve in advance with a large party (there were 12 of us), you do have to pay in advance, so make sure that everyone is locked in before putting down that type of money. It came out to $52 per person all in, including tax and tip. I believe that in the few weeks after my reservation, this price has been upped by $8, which is definitely significant but still in line with NY prices for bottomless of this sort. What was not noted when I booked and I would have liked to have been aware of (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars), is that there is a different (smaller) menu for the bottomless deal. There are 5 types of tacos to choose from: chicken, al pastor, breakfast, sweet potato, and brussels sprouts. For drinks, you can choose between classic or frozen margaritas, mimosas, or pacifico beer. When we sat down, we were all given the choice of individual drinks, and then since we were such a large party, our waiter suggested he bring out a platter of each type of taco, which worked out well. Everyone got to try a bit of each, and then had the option to order more individually. The highlights for me were the al pastor taco and the brussels sprouts taco. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive and we were never waiting around to be served. My good friend/coworker had a bottomless brunch voucher for two people that she needed to redeem since it was very close to the expiration date. I decided to join her. We made the experience memorable since we always have a great time together. However, the food here isn't memorable. They promote it as a "bottomless brunch" which, in my opinion, is quite misleading. Their bottomless brunch menu consists of unlimited drinks and tacos for 90 minutes. No other food options are included in the deal. Any other brunch food item is a la carte. To make matters worse, they have only five taco options to choose from; Chicken Shawarma, Al Pastor, All Day Breakfast taco, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, and Roasted Sweet Potato. My friend and I both agreed that the Al Pastor and All Day Breakfast tacos were our favorites. We really enjoyed scraping the Brussels Sprouts off the tacos and eating them just like that. The Sprouts were so tasty and didn't need a taco shell whatsoever. The chicken shawarma taco missed the mark as the chicken thigh meat was tough. They get kudos for creativity but the taco is a dud. The roasted sweet potato taco wasn't memorable either. We tried it once and never went back for it, just like the chicken shawarma taco. The frozen margarita was my bottomless choice of drink and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed their version of a classic frozen cocktail. Tequila, Elderflower liqueur, lime, citrus-infused agave.
