    3 Soft Tacos Order
    Tamika H.

One word...two languages... DELICIOUS/DELICIOSO! It's a take out restaurant with an amazing authentic Mexican street food menu. I ordered and enjoyed 3 tacos Al Pastor, chips and guacamole. $20 bucks! Great value and taste. Great flavors and also nice service. The gentleman took my order and fulfilled it perfectly and was very friendly and personable. With so many places to choose from in the City, you should definitely choose this place!

    But

I just got my burrito and it tasted fine...until I found a HAIR in my burrito. I will not be coming back now

The restaurant is literally a window. You order outside and there are no tables to sit at. However the food is amazing. I got the chicken quesadillas and you get 4 normal sized quesadillas for $13. The quesadillas were cooked perfectly, soft tortilla and not greasy. Would definitely come back but best to avoid on a super hot day. The wait is short and there is small table seating across the street. If you can't get a table there is some public, there are some free plazas

A nondescript hole in the wall establishment serving popular Mexican offerings from tacos to burritos to quesadillas. Menu is posted out front and service is quick. I was craving Mexican for lunch and picked up a Cinco de Mayo plate from here. It's far from being the best Mexican food I've ever had, but it was decent and got the job done. Price was $15 which isn't bad for midtown.

I was craaaaving Mexican so I yelped while on the East side and "presto", it was Cinco De Mayo . It was take out only so I took the risk of taking it back home even though it was freezing out . Obviously it worked out well ! The food is very fresh , simple and truly flavorful including the green sauce ! I ordered check tacos and a steak quesadilla- awesome. It very very simple take out so if you are looking to impress , keep going . If you want great Mexican : Vamos!

I've been wanting to check this place out since I walk by it a lot during lunchtime. There's always a line and people waiting around the (literally) small store front. I wouldn't say that they have the best customer service and that they go out of the way to be super welcoming. However, they are quick with getting your order. The menu is posted outside of their door. I asked what was the most ordered or recommended and was told either the burrito or the birria tacos. I got the burrito bowl, but nowhere did it say that I would get charged extra for a different type of meat. Now I know that chicken is a different price. It is expensive for a small portion size. I don't know if I will be returning. Maybe to try something else on their menu.

Such delicious food. I got the birria tacos, 3 for $15. They were packed with flavor and the beef was tender and plentiful. The portion of meat they give you is generous, the tortilla was having trouble holding all the meat. Comes with a salsa verde that helps lighten the savoriness of the meal. Definitely worth a visit to try. I'll most likely be back to have the rest of the menu. It's a hole in the wall type of place so it can be easy to miss, but there's some tables and chairs across the street where you can eat at. The staff seemed nice. Very quick service as well.

I order take out from here once a week and it NEVER disappoints. Really great authentic Mexican food served in large portions at really low prices, what could be better. I've ordered almost everything on their menu and have genuinely loved everything. The restaurant is take out only but don't let that stop you, order to-go or order on Uber eats and enjoy. You can thank me later.

Omg, I didn't think I could love this place even more, till I discovered their wonderful birria tacos. It's a regular go-to for me, but now it's a must-go. Beautiful dish, three full shells and a great dipping sauce. And they're the nicest people!

By far the best tacos in the city! Unassuming and delicious, the way it should be. Friendly folks, easy to order and short wait times while they cook up your tacos, fresh to order. I tried the steak, and the meat was tender and juicy. Just the right amount of cilantro and onions (you can also opt to get tomatoes, lettuce and guacamole). Tortillas were warm and held up well. Salsa verde on the side. Prices are very reasonable, especially for midtown. No seating. Came during lunch hour and the wait wasn't bad. Will be back to try their carnitas, al pastor and birria tacos. About the closest I can get to fond memories of roadside taco stands growing up in CA and trips to Mexico. My hands smelled like onions afterwards, the way they should. Yum!

Ordered togo tacos: steak was not salty enough but fish and carnitas were good. Quick service and a bit like a hole in the wall

If you are someone who is looking at an aesthetic place, this is a top contender. Unfortunately, I would say this place is better looking than the food is good. The food was fine, appetizers were all fresh but lacked any real depth in flavor. I wasn't too thrilled with the bone marrow I had either (but the tortillas come in the cutest basket). Personally, if it wasn't for the drinks and the space, I cant say this place is worth it - you're not coming here for the food. Another little complaint I have is the women's restroom on the second floor - right by the door is a floor to ceiling mirror which I understand was included to make the space seem bigger, but my friends and I agreed that it is a little misleading - I kept wanting to walk into it thinking there was more space there and not wall. I would recommend maybe putting a decal on it to clearly show its mirror.

I had to drink my frozen Patron Margarita standing up until a space at the bar open up after 20-25 minutes. Once seated, my area wasn't properly cleaned. I felt awkward and uncomfortable. I reluctantly ordered fish tacos with mild guacamole but was given spicy guacamole. The fish tacos were a little cold. The service was rushed. I left without ordering another drink or more food.
