Nice respite from Times Square and good pre-show dinner option as service is quick and they have a great happy hour from 3:30-6:30! Ambiance was also fun - good for couples and families alike. We ordered the chips and salsa and 4 tacos total, 3 carne asada and 1 al pastor. Carne Asada was a little dry and salsa tasted like marinara sauce. Fine food and a little pricey but did the job.

A good spot, but coming from Texas it's very tough to impress an enchilada! Would gladly come back to try in person, but relive try was still good! Wish it came w a bit more chicken and a bit more spice! Cheers!

Cute bar. We went when it wasn't too crowded during happy hour so it was very fast to be service. We only got something small and two drinks and then we hung out for a little bit. The food was good and as expected. By the time we were leaving it was very crowded and packed so I would recommend coming a little later probably at around 8:00 9:00 or 10:00. But before or around happy hour it's very chill and not too crowded.

Found this lil gem and came a bit earlier Than a dinner crowd. Loved the food, back home Every Mexican restaurant gives you chips And salsa here you have to order them. Make sure you do that as soon as you sit before you order, ours came at the same time as our meals so this was a waste for us to order since we couldn't take anything to go as we were headed to the theater.

Ordered nachos to share, and a beef quesadilla. Both were great. Margaritas were just okay and slightly over priced. To be right off of Times Square the quality was good, the restaurant wasn't too loud and service was great. Prices were on the higher side but within normal for the area.

Food was just thrown together A taco is the simplest food you can get - so the ingredients have to be good & it put together well. I got a fish taco & the taco itself wasn't warm - it was limp + fried cod just thrown in the unwarmed taco with some raw, unmixed coleslaw. Who ever sent this out doesn't care about taste or their customers. - There is no LOVE in the food. - My Mezcal mule was good and the bartender was nice. I should have ordered a margaritas as ppl seed to enjoy them. - Otherwise I say come during the week for HH and keep your order simple. - Ambiance is great - I won't be coming back & maybe their other food is better. It's a big for me.

We went to Bar Mexicana as a pre-theater dinner and it was an awesome option! They have happy hour specials every day and since we were going at 5pm before a 7pm show it worked out that we got to take advantage of those! We got margaritas which were delicious (we had two rounds of them) and got the chips and salsa for the table (it is annoying that we had to pay for this app when all places where I'm from in VA does this complimentary but we wanted them so we were willing to pay. I got 3 tacos that were all delcious - i got the 2 taco deal that came with rice, beans, chips and guac and then added another. I got the Beef Birria, Sweet Plaintain, and Calabacita Con Crema (it had Zucchini, cheese, sweet corn cream & pickled onions) and they were all really tasty with interesting flavor combos. My husband got his staple of a chicken burrito and loved it. Our server was kind and attentive - we never had to wait too long when we needed something else. We came to NY to soak in the holiday spirit and the restaurant had a lot of twinkly lights and decor so it definitely satisfied that. I'll keep this on my list as a place that's good for fun theater outings!

Birria empanadas

The restaurant has an upscale fast food feel, cute ambiance. The service was fast and attentive. The sangria is delicious, with strawberries and blueberries. The food was very good, especially the birria empanadas. The carne asada was nicely cooked and sliced.

Great service, we were seated immediately. Tacos were so delicious. Hope to come back soon.

Morita BBQ Wings

This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere. The food especially the tacos was so delicious and the margaritas were the best I've had so far while visiting New York. We tried the steak nachos. Those were awesome as well as the barbecue wings.....

Great spot in the Broadway District with reasonable prices and nice ambiance. Newly rebranded and opened so still a bit quiet and hidden. Great service, good food and drink, not too overpriced. A hidden gem.

Food was fresh. Try the chicken nachos. The shrimp tacos and guacamole are a good choice. Try the tamarindo aqua fresa.

They have a…read moretight draft selection that rotates pretty often, and a pretty good can collection in the fridge. The staff have always been friendly and extremely knowledgeable; it is really handy when you can say you live in San Francisco, what do you have that I can only get out here? You can tell it is a good place in Hell's Kitchen/Times Square when stage hands and actors actually come by after (definitely not between) their shows. They also have whiskeys available here as a sidecar; definitely do not try and order any other liquors, the back of their staff shirt makes that clear. For food, I've only ever had the cheese curds because I obviously have a problem and can't get them at many places in SF. The portions are large and the prices reasonable. My only feedback to them is maybe offer some large format bottle pours on busy nights so people can try some of the more obscure options.

There is beer. There is whisky…read more There are some small pub bites. That is it. ...and it is perfect! Came here to get away from the faux feeling of midtown glitz. Got a nice dose of dive bar and it was exactly what I was looking for. The place is small, it is loud, there is a good selection of beers on tap and some more on bottles/cans from the fridge. Bartenders are just the right amount of "if you're not a regular you're fine but you're not special" and chatty friendly. What you'd expect from a hole in the wall with decently cheap beer (compared to just a block or two over).

Check-in was quick and easy, and even though it was a full house for a Saturday night, we were still able to find seats without an issue. The space was definitely lively and a bit crowded, but there was still enough room to move around comfortably. Our bartender was really sweet and made great drinks , the cranberry vodka and Long Island were both spot on. We didn't pay extra for the additional glasses to smash, but the six cups included were enough to make the experience fun and satisfying for a casual night. I can see why people would want to buy a full bucket though as it definitely adds to the excitement. The crowd was respectful, and the bathrooms were decently clean, which is always a plus. Overall, a great spot for an stress-relieving, spontaneous night out!

I wish we had the option for a booth especially since my friend is really short but we got a high top. Server was very attentive and transparent. Our original server was on break so we had another server take our drinks, appetizers and entree orders. She brought the drink and appetizer and our main server brought out entrees. I felt they were both great servers and very friendly. We also got dessert, everything was delicious. Food was also reasonably priced. We also were able to use a coupon code for the appetizer which was great. This location is very nice and clean. My only suggestion is to have someone check the downstairs bathroom a bit more. I used both bathrooms and the upstairs one was way cleaner. Otherwise, great experience and staff. I def recommend and will be back

The whole restrauant was booked. I totally understand that as a business it makes more sense to take the larger group. However no reason for you management staff to be completely rude about especially on such short notice. I called to find out a solution as the message said we could show up a half hour later than our original reservations and was transfered to a manager. Who ever the manager was on 5/17/26 at about 8 pm said ya they got the place from 2 pm good luck . I tried to ask if we could show up a halfhour later than planed as the voicemail indicated but he blew it off and was being very rude about the whole situation so if figured I do not want to give this company anymore money moving forward so I found another restrauant. Shame is now I wont visit the one in Texas where I live either.
