Cool place with cool vibes. I stopped in here with my wife and friend to grab some food after visiting lucky strikes. We had a reservation and arrived about 15 mins early and were able to be seated immediately. This location is 2 floors with a lot of tables and TVs which had multiple sports games on. Our server was quick to order our drinks and just as quick to deliver them to the table. I ordered the cheesesteak with truffle parm fries. Cheesesteak was okay. Needed some seasoning but not too bad. The fries were good though as a side to the sandwhich. I also ordered a beer which they have an extensive menu of. Ambience was cool and chill and service was great even though the food was okay. I would definitely recommend this place as a cool hangout to grab some beers, a quick bite and watch some games.

A friend and I stopped by for a quick dinner. This was my first time at this location but I ordered my usual which was the Edamame, Parm Truffle Fries and the Shiitake Garlic Noodles. The drinks were good, the food was decent, not bad but I prefer the noodles at Ridge Hill. I recommended the Lobster Garlic Noodles for my friend and she loved it. Even though they were extremely busy, the service was on point and the staff were friendly.

Why did I go "eh" when my friend suggested we stop here for late-night bites last night? I had been here once before, years ago (on a date, no less) and the experience had been mid and forgettable. But last night I was dazzled, right from the initial friendly convo with the host Alain who seated us. The waitress with the lovely dreadlocks was also super warm and personable. LOVE the artwork on the wall along the stairs. If you like sweet drinks like I do, I HIGHLY recommend the Lavender Drop martini. From the very first sip, my face displayed all the pleasure in the world. It is SO so tasty I almost wanted more (but I was aiming for "nightcap" and not "saucy"). Lemon pepper wings on the menu is always a plus and their truffle fries? Rich and flavorful. Waitress even gave us a side of mayo for dipping. Extra plates because we wanted to share. Thoughtful. Attentive. A bite of my friend's sliders also confirmed they were winning in the burger department. To seal the meal, the second I laid eyes on the "Oreo Brookie" dessert on the menu, I knew I wasn't leaving without it. The moment she placed it on the table, with extra spoons for all of us, my friend couldn't control himself and dove in. Had to battle spoons with him for the bulk of the ice cream chunks. It was DELICIOUS. To top it all off, every table has this little iPad thingy that let's you SEAMLESSLY itemize the bill and individually pay for what you ordered. You just check off your items from the list, click to pay, and it tallies just those things for you automatically, leaving the rest for the next person to pick their stuff and pay. THIS is technology advancement! Sorry I misjudged you the first time Yard House. Since everything that touched my tongue was phenomenal, you've been added to my rolodex of solid options. I will definitely be back!

Despite their popularity (and wide availability all over the States), this was my first visit to the Yard House... and it was a good one. The selection of drafts is overwhelming, with brews coming from all over and contenting pretty much any preference imaginable. First, I got their house Amber (the only house beer I really liked), then I had a house flight (6 tastings for a mere $12) and another flight with personalized options that I hand picked. Next time I would not go for their house flight, because although very affordable I didn't enjoy the quality the other house beers. The place is huge: 2 floors, plenty of walking space between tables, flatscreen TVs all over the place, clean restrooms. Except for their bread pudding (decadent), we didn't get any food: we weren't hungry and it looked quite overpriced for the place. I'd definitely return to try other beers. The place was mostly empty in the early afternoon of a MLK Day, so I wonder how crowded it gets (with tourists) in the evening.

Not my first time at Yard House, but it was my first time visiting this location. Stopped here for some warmth and a quick drink. My friends and I were lucky to find some open chairs by the bar, otherwise we would've had to wait for a table. Bar service was OK. I felt rushed to order another drink or to close my tab out to leave. I also felt like the bartenders were a bit annoyed we didn't order any food.

It was a busy Saturday and we got on a list for approximate 45 min wait so we made our way to the bar and took the 2 neglected seats no one wanted, but we got quick service. The blue cheese and bacon burger was amazing and the meat cooked as requested. The drinks were good and our main bartender/server was great. However, he went on a break and the gal that took over had attitude problems and besides rolling her eyes when we asked for more drinks also decided to ignore some requested items we were missing for our meal. I had to flag down a floor server to get them for me. She made the experience wonky and glad she wasn't our server all night. The place can be very loud but still ample seating with a second floor and conveniently located in the heart of the city.

The most okay experience I've had. It's a Yardhouse so I'm not expecting a lot but even then, I was disappointed. The few pros. Ability to seat large groups, food is hot and made to order seemingly, drinks are alright. The cons. Lengthy wait times and mediocre service highlight this section. We had called before hand to reserve a time slot, this was not upheld. Small delays are fine but when the delays were reaching 30+ min, there's issues there with capacity and promises. Beyond this, the service was also very mediocre, the staff were not attentive and not helpful. The food was also very okay. Overall, definitely only coming here if I need to seat over 10 people, otherwise there are better spots in NY for your eating pleasure.

We actually have been to this establishment twice. The service has always been spectacular and attentive. The food we like here as they have vegetarian options and substitutions. They really have something for everybody. The food tastes really good and nice and fresh. It is lively and busy and they have some good music playing. They also have a vast selection of beers which they are known for. The wine is also good here. Give them a try for yourself.

Andrea MADE our visit. She was phenomenal. We had a great time on our visit to the big apple. I had t he ahi appetizer in an effort to eat healthier and it was top 10 best I've had inside of the US. My companion had the sliders and it was more than a meal. The beer menu was impressive but it seemed they were out of 50% of the beer we wanted (Guinness, sours, etc) but we enjoyed it thanks to Andrea and her recommendations and service. The whole place is a normal bustling Yard House as you'd expect with good music and lively patrons.

I enjoyed Yard house. It is located in a very busy area, Times Square. so the best way to get there would probably be public transportation. There is parking, but there will be lots and it will cost you so choose wisely what you would like to do. this restaurant is huge as there is three levels of seating. There are large TVs so it makes well for watching sporting events. we were seated in about 10 to 15 minutes on a Tuesday evening. It did get kind of crowded but because there is so much space it was very easy to navigate. the menu has something for everyone so I appreciated the menu. I had a Caesar salad, the orange chicken, and I shared the nachos appetizers with the others on my table. Everything was special made, and the portion sizes are perfect. My entrée came with white rice and some vegetables and I definitely wasn't able to eat all, so I had a bag to go. Service was good.

Whiskey & Aged White Cheddar Burger
    Timothy B.

Went in around 1pm for lunch. Not too busy. I sat at the bar and took a min or two to look over their cast beer selection. I opted for the Give 'Em Helle German larger which is 4.9% alcohol. It was very smooth and refreshing and had an earthy aroma I also got the FML double IPA by Stone brewing to drink which they only served in one size due to the alcohol content. For my meal I decided on the Whiskey and Aged Cheddar burger. The burger has Whiskey glaze , aged white cheddar, crimini mushrooms, and horseradish aioli and comes with house fries. The burger was cooked great nice and juicy and the combination of the ingredients played off of eachother great. The fries were fries nothing great or bad about them. Overall a positive first experience

The food was fine. The ambiance was fun and appropriate for a pub. The service could have been better. Our waiter was forgetful and took time to recall things we asked for.

Are kids allowed. we are planning on going but i have a 4 year old?

Of course children are allowed at this restaurant. I believe there is a children's menu as well. It does get loud in here though so that's something to keep in mind if you are bringing your little one!

Do you have to be covid vaccinated to go to events at this location?

Hey Greg! Yes, based on the NYC mandate people 12 and older and now required to show proof that they have received at least one vaccine dose in order to enjoy indoor activities including dining, fitness, and entertainment.

Does this location have happy hour like other Yardhouse locations?

Times Square Location doesn't have Happy Hour. They said " so far " But I saw the menu and it didn't show up the happy hour section on the menu like other location,,, that meant they have no plan ,:(

Both failed epically. The bone marrow was inedible as it was like cold custard. Escargot had zero flavor and a real lack of garlic and good butter. Tasted more like vegetable oil than good butter. We shared the lobster pasta entree. Tasted more like Mexican goulash. No Italian flavors to be found in the sauce. Never once did the nameless waiter stop and inquire about our meal. Just all around a poor experience and a disappointing Friday night. There are far better places that appreciate your patronage. We will not be coming back. Not worth it.

The front part where you first walk in is the bar area with some tables. This restaurant is on the darker side and brings you back in time. Once you walk in further that is where the main dinning room is. This is also on the darker side as you can maybe tell by my photos. The wall paper and art around the restaurant is cool and there are some monkey statues around the restaurant. I was seated in a corner table in a booth area that seemed to be for at least 2-3 people. I thought for sure they would seat me at the bar area. I had a wonderful waitress whose name I think was Taylor but I could be wrong. I ordered the Monkey bread to start off with. It's a very buttery bread with truffle and parm cheese on top. I have alot of allergies and I was searching online if I could even have truffles as I have a nut allergy. So, I asked the waitress and she said she had never heard this. But, she came back to me and told me that White truffle grows near or like over where Almonds grow from but that, they don't use white truffle so I was all good. Well, this was super nice of her to check for me. I had no idea she was going to do this. She said the restaurant has strict protocols when it comes to food allergies. I then got for my main dish the double cheese burger with onions and pickles. To drink I had the cucumber martini. WOW everything was pretty darn good!! I passed on dessert. We started with drinks, and mine ended up being a surprise standout. I ordered the coconut margarita, slightly hesitant since I'm not usually a margarita fan--but it completely won me over. It struck a perfect balance and leaned just enough into the coconut to make it feel unique without being overpowering. My sister-in-law, who's pregnant, had a non-alcoholic Ritual margarita and loved it, noting how convincingly it mimicked the real thing. Since we were sharing, we got to try a good mix of the menu. The monkey bread came first--definitely a splurge at $34, but it's one of those fun, indulgent starters that's worth ordering at least once. While I wouldn't call it the best bread I've ever had, I also wouldn't change anything about it. The crab rangoon was another highlight. Having it made with real crab made a noticeable difference, and the dipping sauces complemented it really well. It felt like a more elevated take on something familiar. For mains, the French dip was a hit. The meat was incredibly tender, the bread had that ideal crusty exterior, and the au jus was packed with flavor--I was very glad I ordered extra. It pulled the whole dish together. We also tried the smoked whitefish Caesar, which was the only dish that didn't quite land for me. It was a well-made, fresh salad, but the smoked fish flavor was a bit overpowering and took over the balance of the dish. Even though we were too full for dessert, the restaurant surprised us with a scoop of strawberry ice cream with chocolate sauce to celebrate my sister-in-law's babymoon. It ended up being one of the most memorable bites of the meal--we're still talking about how good that ice cream was. We arrived right at 11:45, and by the time we left, the place was absolutely buzzing. It's clearly a popular spot, and for good reason. Between the lively atmosphere, strong service, and well-executed food, I'd highly recommend making a reservation if you can.

It was supposed to be a memorable milestone, but it turned out to be a massive, incredibly disappointing letdown. The issues began the moment we arrived. The host stand claimed I hadn't booked afternoon tea and had only reserved a standard table in the hotel bar. This was completely false, and I had to pull out my phone to show them both my text and email confirmations. Rather than apologizing, they offered absolutely no accommodation for their mistake until I actively asked for it. Their excuse? They claimed this "has happened before" with their reservation platform--an embarrassing admission for a luxury establishment. Next, they told us they were entirely out of tea sandwiches. I had to ask them to double-check. When the host returned, they magically found the sandwiches but claimed the tea room was completely full. We were instead shoved into a cramped bar corner right next to the service door, the cashier stand, and the station where the bar staff collected all the dirty dishes. To add insult to injury, when I walked past the actual tea room an hour later, it was two-thirds empty. The service itself was nonexistent. Our tea was abruptly plopped onto the table by a bar staffer who didn't say a single word and left. Thirty minutes later, the sandwiches were plopped down in the exact same dismissive manner, without any explanation of what was being served. I eventually had to ask the hostess for information, and she retrieved a tea room staff member to explain the menu. After that brief interaction, we received absolutely no other service except for water. To top it all off, management clearly does not care that our experience was so bad. The manager kept using the dismissive, canned phrase: "I'm sorry that your experience wasn't what you expected." I had to correct him more than once--this wasn't a matter of unmet "expectations," it was a matter of not getting what I paid for. I paid $433.00 for a premium afternoon tea experience and received bottom-tier service in a noisy dish-clearing corner. If The Whitby Hotel cannot handle basic hospitality, reservation logistics, or genuine customer service, they shouldn't offer afternoon tea at all. Avoid this place if you are looking to celebrate a special milestone.

They did however seat us at a table that was directly in the way of a lot of movement through the restaurant. Many waiters found themselves squeezing between our table and another to attend to other tables. Some were carrying very heavy looking trays. Beyond that, we had a blast. We ordered the butter service, which was super fun! The waiters make a whole show of it, seasoning the butter at the table, talking it up a bit, and then allowing us to go to town. The added shallots on top bring an extra hit of umami. The chorizo spread was a little grainy for me, but others at the table were going for seconds and thirds. I especially enjoyed the marinated leeks and the eggplant dip it was also served with. Our entrees were a little underwhelming. We ordered the lobster frites and the french onion soup burger. The burger wasn't overtly French oniony. It was just a solidly good burger. The lobster was delicious, but not anything I am continuing to think about. What I am still thinking about though, are the creme brulees! We ordered the corn creme brulee for a side. It was sweet and salty, with a great crack and chew to the top. I also loved the espresso creme brulee for dessert, which also had a nice light saltiness to it. We also got the spicy orange carrots which were totally delicious. In addition to the espresso creme brulee, we also ordered the lemon ice cream cake. It was bright and refreshing. The only downsides were the wait for the desserts. The wait was so long that our waiter insisted that they would be comped for our inconvenience. However, they were still on the bill at the end of the meal. He did remove them immediately when we pointed them out, though. And finally, coat check accidentally gave our Mother's Day bouquet of flowers to the wrong mom! We wound up with a much prettier bunch, but lost our balloon as part of the switch. Oh well! Next time, we'll definitely be ordering the brulees and I'll be damned if I leave without having their french onion soup!

I am writing to share some constructive feedback regarding a recent dinner at Quality Bistro…read more Having been a loyal patron of Quality Meats and Quality Italian for many years, I was eager to experience your take on the French bistro concept. While there were highlights to the evening, several aspects of the experience did not meet the high standards I have come to associate with the Quality Branded family. First, I must address a significant comfort issue two weeks ago. Our group was seated in one of the large booths, and we found that the cushions were so soft that we sank down uncomfortably low. It was quite awkward to dine when several guests could barely see over the top of the table. For a restaurant of this caliber, guest ergonomics are essential, and I would strongly encourage looking into firmer seating support for those booths. Regarding the menu, we found the oysters to be a bit of a letdown for the $5 price point. The citrus toppings were so heavy-handed that they completely overwhelmed the natural flavor of the oyster. Additionally, as a long-time fan of Quality Meats, I found the steak to be lacking in both presentation and precise execution. I had hoped for a dish that mirrored the excellence of your sister properties, but this fell short of expectations. On a more positive note, your staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the night. We also thoroughly enjoyed the bread and butter cart; the butter was truly lovely and stands up well against international varieties I have tried. Furthermore, your desserts are stunning and were the highlight of our meal. I share this because I truly enjoy your restaurant group and would love to see Quality Bistro refine these details to match the world-class experience of your other locations and competitive locations in the neighborhood. I look forward to returning in the future to see how the space evolves.
