I love pho , but this place is mediocre, dirty, and pho doesn't taste like pho, I'm surprised there was 2 people eating, me and my son had to leave immediately because I got sick to my stomach. Please don't waste time or your money, tables were dirty and sticky, even sauces were bad. read more

The Pho is always consistently tasty which is the main reason we come here. Spring rolls are basic and not that great to be honest.

I got my fix so I can't complain. Reminds me of every other pho spot. Can't really complain of anything. Nothing really stood out to me here. read more

One of my favorite pho places to go!!!! During this pandemic time, it was hard for our family to order food outside since most of the restaurants are closed and we are dying to get pho and after trying two pho restaurants that are closed, we decide to call this one and thank God that they are open and they have the option of carrying out and dine in. Ofc, we wanted to carry out, the waiting time was not long, around 10 minutes. The noodle was well cooked, not too hard or soggy and the soup is savory as it could possibly be-- the meat is well cooked for us ahead of time and it came with all the side dishes. Also, order the Pork with Broken Rice dish and it was well cooked, the meat was well seasoned and the dipping sauces were delicious, I like my pork to be a little fat, so it was all amazing! Dine-in one time before the quarantine started and their environment aren't bad, they even have patio tables and we can decide if we want to eat inside or outside. The inside was pretty big, estimate 160 people can fit in and they let us chose our seat, which makes me pretty satisfied with them. Even though the order said its small, it wasn't that small, at least it made me really full (without finishing the broth) although my brother did add a 0.50 noodle but it was only because my brother loves the noodle here. Service there wasn't the best like the five-star restaurant, but it was fine, there was an older gentleman who did come around and ask for if we would like some refills and make sure that the food is fine. Did wait for the check to come tho, don't know why it takes them longer to get the check, but it's just minor problem. When we asked for a recommendation, the gentlemen gave us decent ones, didn't make us order the expensive ones, but asked us what kind of meat we like and whether we like noodles or rice and helped us with what we like. The price was average, wasn't expensive but definitely not too cheap, my sister and I and my brother went there and order three dishes and it costs us around $40 something. I could say that the food and service are just fine with us since we like to eat quietly and take our time because we do a lot of family talk during eating. The price range could do better, but I mean this is Arcadia, so I shouldn't expect a cheaper pho place. Definitely a recommendation for the people who wants a quiet and clean place for delicious pho. Try it out for yourself. read more

Parking: this restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, and there's plenty of parking available. Some spots closer than others, but you should be able to find parking without any problems. Ambiance: it's a good sized restaurant and employees are all very kind! Food: so good! I am a creature of habit, and always get the same rare steak pho. I enjoy it every time! I also get food to go more frequently and it tastes just as good and includes all necessary "sides" and condiments. Cost: just like many other pho restaurants. Very affordable! I would definitely recommend you try this place! read more

First time ordering from here. Both the BF and I got the pho duc biet (large). The broth was flavorful. The meat and other ingredients were tasty. However, large is not the large that we are use to when ordering from Pho places in Alhambra, San Gabriel, Rosemead, etc. And the cost was more than our usual spots, such as Saigon Eden. We tried this place because it was closer to home. Not bad but if you're use to cheap Pho and large portions, you would be a little disappointed coming here. read more

Came here on a Wednesday, I believe, maybe around 4:30. It wasn't busy but it wasn't empty. It's located in a plaza with Tokyo Wako and many other businesses so the parking did seem full and a bit tight. I tried the pho tai and the luc lac (diced beef) dish. The taste of the broth didn't seem plain or anything to me, but the only complaint I would have is that it tasted really oily compared to other pho places I have tried. The luc lac had a nice flavor and was soft, which I enjoyed, considering other places have a tougher texture. It came mixed with onions, bell peppers, and other vegetables. Because it was mixed with so many vegetables, the quantity wasn't as large as other places. I don't see myself coming back, at least not with my recommendation. read more

I went there for lunch and have regular beef noodle soup and egg roll. The food was good as usually. However, do not order any drink without ice, because you will only get 2/3 of drink. The 1/3 space is for your ice, since you don't want to have ice they won't give you a full cup. read more

The restaurant was clean. However, we had to ask twice for our drinks & got it after we received our meals. The pho broth was ok. Their egg rolls were really good, but check out the sandwich we ordered to go. There's barely any meat!!! I dont know about going back. (Picture posted) read more

Grabbed a quick bowl of Pho on Saturday morning about a block away from my Hotel in Arcadia. Pho Ha has a nice decor not you normal Pho joint. Plenty of parking in the shopping center. The Pho was good. The Ice coffee was super strong. So strong that even after all the ice melted it was still thick. Service was excellent. There was a service button on the table, neat little touch. read more

Not very happy. I am not sure if it is the same owner as the one in Pomona and in Rowland heights, but WHAT HAPPENED HERE?!?! :( I liked the pho a lot better from the other Pho Ha locations, in fact, I gave the one in Pomona five stars!--Feel free to read my review. ;D BRITT'S FOOD: -Pho= It's OKAY. Yes, just okay. The broth was not rich in flavorful, but it'll do if I'm desperate and don't want to drive out to Pomona. One good thing about the pho was that it was a lot of rice noodle for under $10. -Shrimp Spring Rolls were very fresh, but the peanut sauce was TERRIBLE! I thought my friend was joking around with his facial expression after taking a bite of the freshly peanut sauce-dipped roll, but it was a real reaction--I am almost positive I had the same expression. I will never order that from this place again, but I recommend everyone to try it because you never know, you might like it! SERVICE/INTERIOR: -The owner certainly changed the interior for it's far different from the last business (Pho Kitchen). I really like that there are service buttons at every table, so just press! even if one doesn't press, the waiters are very attentive and are always filling up cups of H2o. -So...I read in one of the reviews for Pho Ha that the restroom sink has a light that turns on when one washes their hands. I made sure to wash my hands after I ordered just to see it. BEST EXPERIENCE, EVER. Haha Well, I found it to be cool. :) LONG STORY SHORT: -So-So food -Great service -Three Stars Tis all. read more

Visiting my friend in Duarte, we went to her favorite Pho place in Arcadia for lunch. It was 2 pm on a Saturday and the place was super quiet. We were immediately seated as soon as we walked in. We placed our orders right away and the food arrived pretty quickly. We both only had the Pho soups and they were delish. The meat was perfect and the noodles too. Idk why Pho Has doesn't have 4 stars. It's my favorite pho restaurant in Duarte/Monrovia/Arcadia area when I'm too lazy to take a trip down to SGV. +Polite waiters/waitresses. Once the cook forgot about my raw sliced onions on the side that I placed an order after we already ordered the food. The waitress came to me couple times and apologized the fact that the cook forgot about it. Sincere apology accepted and much appreciated. :) +Location is awesome. My bf lives in Duarte so SGV is a bit of a drive and there are no good pho restaurants in Duarte/Monrovia so Pho Ha is the closest pho restaurant that's good. It's only about 10 mins drive or so. Love it! +Located in a plaza with other restaurants such as Omar's pizzeria, some Asian buffet, subway, etc. Plenty of parkings available. +Let's get down to business. So their pho broth and noodle is good. Maybe not the best but it hits the spot. I hate it when noodles are overcooked and flimsy/soft or when the noodle is too firm. Chef always cooks the noodle al dente and the broth has hint of sweetness but super flavorful with mild taste of beef. LOVE! +Their egg rolls were good also. noms. +Restroom is clean and the whole restaurant looks clean for an Asian restaurant. +Has button to call the server/waiter/waitress like Korean restaurants. I LOVE THESE BUTTONS. No need to flag down someone when you're in dire need of something. -Bun Bo Hue was unfortunately whatever. I think this will always be the case because nothing beats BBH at Nha Trang.. -Nothing wrong with big bowl of pho but large seems a little too much for me sometimes. Instant regrets when I'm nearly down with the bowl. womp womp. read more

Pho Ha - Fried egg rolls with veggies - Vietnamese Near Me - Arcadia, California

Today I went to the restaurant hoping to get good service and delicious food. However, my experience is negative due to spoiled food, dirty cups, and lack of customer service. My boyfriend order a spare rib rice plate and when he bit into the meat there is a bad after taste including the banh knot (Vietnamese savory pancake). The meat is cold and spongy meaning the food is spoiled and the cook literally just microwave the food. I called the waiter to explain that the spare rib is cold and not cook properly. The waiter just went inside and remicrowave the food including the jalapeño on top. When he came back with the spare ribs, the food is still cold and taste sour after my boyfriend bites into the piece of meat. The jalapeño is soft and food is too bad for my boyfriend and I to continue eating our meals. Nevertheless, my cup of water is dirty and have tea leaves this is lack of sanitary. I'm beyond upset especially eating my banh knot pancake thinking it is going to be crispy. After the first bite I couldn't eat the pancake anymore so sour and dirty. I told the manager about the spoiled food and how it is leftover. She said, I'm sorry I will tell the cook next time as she continue looking down. I paid $30 for a meal that is not even worth it I could've asked for my refund. She refused and this lack of customer service is something I will never forget. I will not come back here anymore and I don't recommend anyone to eat here unless you are ready to eat spoiled food when you can get your good meal from somewhere else. read more

Back down to 3 stars. Their pho is still missing that umami taste. I hate using the word umami, but I don't think people would prefer me to say "MSG-ness" Overall, not bad considering that there are not too many pho places around here and the spring rolls are pretty good here. read more

Found a pho place right next to work! There's a pho ha by home so I figured it would be the same. Restaurant is large and clean which is great but not filled considering lunch hour which I thought was strange but later on not surprised by.. Banh beo- came in larger than usual dishes and too much shrimp shreds that it became overwhelming. Bun bo hue- either overdid the salty shrimp paste or did not have enough flavor of something else. Either way it showed up looking like it was lacking and tasted the same way. Not at all blown away by this. Pho tai- the usual, nothing spectacular tho. 3 color dessert - too much red bean and too little of everything else but the taste was pretty good. Overall a very meh experience. read more

If you're ever craving for Banh Khot (see photo) & don't want to drive all the way to Westminster, then this is the place for you! It comes with plenty of vegetables to wrap and taste oh so yummy!! My family had pho bo vien (beef ball), dry vermicelli, chicken wings and beef stew. They were very content and gave two thumbs up. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu especially Banh Beo. They received an extra star for clean bathroom (thank you) & overall cleanliness in the restaurant :-) read more

Thank goodness Pho Ha took over!!! I was here when Pho Kitchen was still opened, and it was OK, but then it turned crap when they changed owners. OMG It was horrible, so I was very hesitant to try Pho Ha. But I'm glad I did! Now it's turned into an authentic Vietnamese restaurant with a HUGE menu. I ordered the seafood pho and there was all sorts of goodies in there plus the broth was excellent as well!!! Ingredients were fresh and the interior was clean. Yay for a local Vietnamese restaurant! Sadly, they didn't have any Fishball/Fish Slice Noodle Soups, and their appetizers are more like large meals. You get 4 rolls for $7-$8, yah, you can mix & match, but I'd rather the price to be more affordable & a true appetizer dish. read more

Came here a couple of times in the past week (for the food and for the convenience) The place is located in the same plaza as Subway and Capital Seafood. The prices for the pho are the same for all of them and they just separate it between small and large. What my parents and I usually do is order two large and split that. It is definitely enough to feed the three of us. We ordered the dac biet and a ga nuong banh mi the last time we came. The pho tasted better the first time we came. Probably because we came at night and the broth had time to continue boiling and reducing to making the broth flavor more intense. The broth in the morning was decent but not as tasty as when we had it at night. As for the meat, not as much as the places you will get in Alhambra/Rosemead/San Gabriel. They have the usual sauces but my mom really liked their sate sauce. I don't use sate sauce for pho but it's good to know you have options. This time around, I got the ga nuong banh mi as well. For $3-4, it's a pretty good banh mi. The meat is pretty plentiful and it comes with the usual jalapeno slices and the pickled veggies. The ga nuong (marinated chicken) was pretty flavorful. Not as good as other places in the SGV but decent. Living in the SGV, you have come to expect free tea at places like this but that was not the case. $1/cup of tea. It's just a $1 but it was very unexpected even for a place in Arcadia where things tend to be more high class. Come on by if you are looking for a bowl of pho and you aren't willing to drive another 10/15 minutes to get to Rosemead or other close by cities. Fill the spot. Service is decent. Place is clean. read more

I've gone to both the Riverside location and the Arcadia location now, and I can say that consistency is here and the taste is nice. One thing to note is that service is very hands-off - you will not have servers coming to your table asking how you're doing or if you need anything too often. I got 22(the seafood option) and I thought it was really nice! I think in this case that the restaurant should use photos that are more accurate to their food, however, because there was a lot of difference between the meat in the picture in terms of quantity and the meat in my pho. I thought the meat in the pho was appropriate, but they may want to show that as well. The meat was good, the noodles were perfect, and the broth was good. I thought the spring rolls were nice as well! You can trust this place to have good pho for certain. The regular was $8.45 and the large was $8.95 which surprised me because regular and large are usually $1 apart most places. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for pho on the border of Monrovia and Arcadia. read more

This is my go-to spot for Pho after a long day at work. Nothing eases the day like a hug in a bowl. The place is large, well lit and there are ample tables from seating singles to large parties. There's even an outdoor seating area but I haven't checked it out yet. I hate to say this is more of a local spot but it does seem that way. Or, it's less "local" and more of a no frills type of place, which is just what I prefer at the end of a long day. This is the place for you if you don't want to make friendly useless chatter with your waiter at the end of an exhausting day but just want a hot, delicious meal. When I first came here I wasn't impressed with the lack of friendliness of the staff, especially after reading some Yelp reviews but my opinion has changed. This place is here for solo customers that don't want to make dinner, a perfect to-go restaurant, and good for families and friends to gather. Pho Ha also has a diverse range of customers, I've seen it all through these doors. My favs are the fried tofu appetizer, and #6 pho bowl. Options for size are regular and large, why not just get the large and take the rest to-go if you can't finish. The flavor, if anything, gets better by the next morning. I've tried several other items but just try yourself, I haven't had anything bad yet. My orders have always come out really fast. Although, typically when I order tofu & soup together soup always comes out first. But, the food hits the table shortly after they send your order to the kitchen. Check it out for yourself, it's tasty. read more

Service not as speedy and getting a bit off but heyyy still my go to pho place :) Same old love, I ordered pho with meatballs. My friend ordered pho with rare beef on the side. Superrrr flavorful and tasty broth (BEST IVE EVER HAD), can't say no to that. We also wanted to try some other dishes so we went with ribeye sizzling plate. I come here ever so often. I must say the staff is younger and maybe a little so on service, but they have been kind each time I come. I also have learned that it can be a 15-20 minute wait for my food. I believe that's because they make it fresh (maybe optimistic) and I can appreciate that. I recommend calling in your takeout order. Culturally I have no idea what a Pho should be, but I have had it a couple times and this place does it well. The broth is good, and they have all the trimmings I like (lime, cilantro, bean sprouts, chili, basil, etc.). Finally the serving size is really good and will fill you up even if your pretty hungry. I like this place and would recommend it to anyone needing some good soup. read more

I stopped by with some family before the movies and I had the com bo luc lac (shaken beef with rice) on a hot skillet. It was bomb-diggity!!! Must try when you come here! I love that it's on a sizzling skillet that keeps the food hot while you eat it, don't find that too much in Vietnamese restaurants. My husband had the pho and loves the nam, looks freshly cut and the bowl had quite the good amount. This places tops with meat so sparingly, for some of those with a hearty-protein appetite. If you ever get the chance to be waited by a nice young man (who I think is named Bryan), then you'll be able to experience what true customer service really is. He takes the time to ensure that everything you requested is being given to you ASAP. Wish Pho Kitchen was still in business. Pho Ha does NOT live up to its predecessor's quality & service! I ordered a large bowl of Pho Dac Biet (#1 on the menu). The broth was bland & tasteless (and the broth is the key to a good bowl of Pho). The quality of the meat was also poor/cheap & chewy. The previous establishment had a good flavorful broth with good quality filet mignon type of meat & abundant amount of beef too. Here, the meat was only a small amount & they made up by giving more noodles instead. Service was lack luster. Waiter/waitress were hiding/sitting behind the counter playing with their phone/surfing on internet instead of attending to patrons. Even a kid had to walk up to the counter & ask for a menu so his family can order food. Service was much better with Pho kitchen staff that were attentive to their customers. $7.95 for a poor quality/tasteless bowl of Pho was so NOT worth it. Will not be back.
