Yay for a good Pho place in the hilltop plaza! I had a great dinner experience. Ordered the Pho creation, spring rolls, Thai iced tea and a rice dish combo and all were perfect. The service was excellent as well, keep it up! I'm excited that something worth eating at every week has opened up in Bowie. The menu selection is kept simple and to the point but offers dish type variety from traditional pho soup, salad, rice dishes and some specialities. The soup was seasoned well- i had a beef broth with vermicelli noodles. The side of sprouts and basil were crisp and fresh. The combo rice dish had pork and shrimp and was presented well and tasted great. The food here seems healthy as nothing we ordered was greasy and everything was on par. The restaurant has a sleek modern look but comfortable feel and was welcoming and enjoyable for a Saturday night dinner. They have multiple locations already and can see why they are so successful, we will definitely be back. read more

I go here every once in a while since they've opened. They serve a solid pho, spring rolls and ice tea. There is new management that took over in the beginning of 2018, which seems promising. The wait for pho is usually very quick. I wouldn't say its the best pho place I've been to, but its good. read more

I ordered Uber eats from this restaurant. What a mistake. I didn't get half of my order, and when I tried to call them to let them know that I only got half my order, it went right to voice mail, and the mailbox was full, so I couldn't even let them know. The Chicken Pho was so salty, I couldn't eat it. I got the spring rolls and the sauce that came with it was not enough to even dip on of the rolls. Ok so it's been 3 months since my last review. I have to say that the company was re-opened under new management and it is a blessing that it was. The new manager, Antonio, is super friendly and accommodating with a staff of capable and personable wait staff to take care of your needs. The food is BACK to being what it used to be- DELICIOUS. The service for both eat in and take out customers has greatly improved and the experience is just relaxing and enjoyable. I recommend going back because they got it right now. This place has been open only about 3 months, so perhaps things are still a bit rusty. The food was pretty good, although a bit sparse on the filler. I got Shaking Beef and it was good, but a lot of rice and not a lot of beef. (And the beef was grisly and tasted a bit gamey, but not so much I didn't eat it.) My mom got the veggie pho. Tasty, but mostly noodles,and the only add-ins were jalapeno slices, fresh basil, and bean sprouts. We also tried the Asian poppers, which were excellent, but the sauce was quite salty. Service wasn't good either, but I got the impression the waitress was new. She was trying hard, but seemed befuddled. The setting is nice, very pleasant, but between the slow service and the awful muzak playing, perhaps that's why most people were getting their food to go. Seems that's the thing to do (but I will check my order for correctness before leaving.) Their credit card machine was broken when I was there, so it was cash only. Just realized I put a "but" in every sentence. That seems appropriate. Lots of promise here, they just have some quirks to work out. read more

I got carry out from here 2 days ago- Shrimp Pho, Chicken rice bowl, and Shrimp rice bowl. The "chicken" rice bowl pic is posted. Every piece was nothing but fat/gristle. It's as if they trimmed the meat and used the scraps for my meal. The shrimp in the rice bowl was over cooked, dry, and chewy. My daughter said the shrimp pho was good. A few co-workers and I popped in for lunch last week. The chicken pho was flavorful and pipping hot, which I love! We shared the butter wings and weren't that impressed. They were cooked well, but under-seasoned. It's got a cute decor, not too over-styled, and ample seating. The location is perfect, especially if you plan to do a little shopping in the nearby plazas. I will definitely be back for more pho and to try one of the noodle bowls. read more

The pho was TERRIBLE...made the mistake of ordering it to go ((my normal spot was outta Tofu and I thought I'd try this place)) it wasn't even in a bowl! Had the darkest vegetable broth ever, but said it wasn't beef ((I'm vegan so to ME, that matters!))...and the 4 pieces of Tofu weren't even completely fried...I was so mad that I didn't even eat it! No problems here~ There was a groupon deal for this place so we gave it a try awhile back. After that 1st try, whenever we want Pho this is our go to place. Prices I think are good. My faves are the egg rolls and the Pho Soup! The broth isnt overly salty and they give you a nice serving size. Everytime Ive ordered, the broth has been nice and hot! Veggies they give you have been fresh and clean too. Keep it up! I think I see the owner in their working sometimes and she is very nice + outgoing. This place used to be a favorite of mine. I live less than 5 minutes away, it was good and it was convenient. Tonight was the last straw. I'm done. I ordered to go, as always, pho with chicken and the crispy fried egg rolls. I'd bet my life that the egg rolls were reheated. They were flat, soggy and COLD. Again, I live less than 5 min away. They were COLD. The pho with chicken - not much better. I had maybe a 1/4 cup of very dark and strange looking chicken pieces, and not much else. Very little onion, jalapeños and sprouts. I fault myself for not looking at the order before I left, but it took so long, I just wanted to get the bag and go. The decline of the quality of food at this place is unfortunate, as there aren't any other pho options nearby. read more

I come here every few weeks when I have a craving for pho. Their prices are cheap and the food is good most of the time. Every once in a while the food is too cold or the beef isn't cooked right. Their real flaw is their service. The owner and all the waiters are nice, but this place always seems to be understaffed. The person greeting you at the door is the same person serving you and handling the carryout orders. This makes them less attentive to their tables. I usually have to ask for utensils and on multiple occasions have had to flag the waiter down just to get a refill on water. But, it's the only pho place in Bowie that I know of and it's cheap, so it will do! read more

I think the potential for the Crispy butter wings to be really good was there, but mine were over cooked basically burnt. The pho broth wasn't very good, it needed a lil something and it looked like just cloudy water. The ingredients looked great but between the broth being meh and my wings over cooked I will have to pass on this place. The egg rolls weren't bad if that's all you want. Had dinner there last evening. The Special Vermicelli consisted of a solid lump of noodles with dry pork two shrimp and an ok egg roll. The Pad Thai consisted of dry noodles and tough bits of chicken. The table surface was sticky....the server was pleasant and apologetic. There was no manager available. Food was very good, but the meal was not described correctly. The pho delite combo suppose to be grill pork chop, rice, shrimp, egg roll, egg and cabbage. The problem with the meal is you're thinking your getting a normal size of pork chop but you get shredded tiny pieces. It's perfectly place like it's a whole piece until you start moving it around. It's basically false advertising. Change the description so customers can make a choice if they want tiny chopped slice of meat. Wow, people hate this place? I used to frequent the Pho D'Lite in College Park all the time, so I was ECSTATIC when I discovered that they were building one in Bowie. I had been complaining for years that I was tired of driving to Crofton (or Beltsville, Laurel, and College Park) for pho because there were no places in Bowie that served. I typically get the same thing all the time and I always ask for my beansprouts steamed and never have a problem. And although pho to go is never as yummy as pho eaten in the restaurant, I never have a problem with my order. The last couple of spots that were at this location (a soul food restaurant and a caribbean restaurant) did not do so well here. I am hoping that Pho D'Lite will break that curse! read more

This place is very near my house, and is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I need to break down my four-star review, though... THE GOOD: Nice-looking space-- Pho D'Lite is obviously trying to improve on the usual kinda run-down pho restaurant look with a more welcoming and polished, yet still casual, environment. Prices are accordingly a bit higher than at your typical pho joint. The pho itself is very good and smells wonderful. I got takeout, and it was beautifully packed-- the kitchen staff is doing a top-notch job. Fried spring rolls were also great. THE BAD: Oh my God, one guy they have working here-- he is the weak link screwing up an otherwise solid restaurant. We ordered carry-out and waited. After a while they brought out a large order that looked like it could be ours and set it on the counter, but nobody said a word to us. After another 5-7 minutes I asked an employee if it was our order. He read the ticket and asked, "Kyle?" No, my name is not Kyle, so I guess it's not ours. We waited *15 more minutes* before a different employee asked if we had been told that our order was out. Turns out that Kyle is the guy who took our order, and the employee I'd asked had no idea how to read a ticket and thought that was the customer's name. How can you have an employee who has never seen your takeout receipts before in his life? Or does not make the connection that he WORKS WITH a guy named Kyle, and maybe that's why that name is on the ticket? So we brought home lukewarm pho, after spending an extra 20+ minutes past when our food was first brought out, during which my kid sat next to me saying he was hungry and tired. I ended up calling the manager later, and she was very apologetic and said it won't happen again. Not clear whose fault it was that nobody gave us our food while we sat there in clear view of all the staff, but that was really frustrating. I'm still giving them four stars because I want them to stick around, train someone to do a better job, and keep serving their good pho. If you get carry-out, be assertive, and if you see food sitting there, ask about it, since they seem not to have a clear system for actually getting it to you. ALSO: Vietnamese cold spring rolls are OK, but the "peanut sauce" is just hoisin with ground peanuts on top, which is disappointing. read more

Thai food were below par. We got the Pad Thai, with three shrimps!!! And the shaking beef $12 was with half cup of rice and maybe 2oz of beef with two huge leaves of lettuce... barely any jalapeños. And the shrimp summer rolls- had three Shrimp skins(slice one shrimp in to like 4pieces .. not whole shrimps inside of it just piece of shrimp sliced in a way to look like there is a whole shrimp inside!!
