This place has an absolutely wonderful seafood pho. The customer service was outstanding. I got it to go this time but next I will definitely be dining in. I really like the vibe of this little spot.

Stopped into VN Noodle in Bowie, MD on a cold, rainy day when a bowl of pho was absolutely necessary--and they did not disappoint. I've been eating pho for years, and their pho ga hit all the right notes. Even though it's a chicken pho, the broth had that rich beef-based depth and a gentle kick of spice. I added a bit of Sriracha and hoisin to each bite and it was perfection. The bowl came loaded with fresh ingredients--jalapeños, scallions, and a generous handful of herbs. Everything smelled amazing and tasted even better. I ordered a large pho and a Thai iced tea, and the total came out to around $20, which is a pretty solid deal for such a filling and satisfying lunch. Service was friendly from the moment I walked in. I was warmly greeted and told to sit wherever I liked. The young man who took my order was quick and polite, and the restaurant itself was spotless. Overall, great service, great food, super clean space, and some of the best comfort food you can ask for on a dreary day. Highly recommend!

This is the other Asian spot that I consider one of the best!! Located in like a little strip mall area...we were looking for another noodle spot but came upon this one. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING...we were not expecting this at all and so much for the price...I cannot say enough about the pho...the best I've had in md, better than an loi, in my opinion!! Please try it!!! My wife had the Singapore noodles with chicken, which she absolutely loved, saying it was realllllly really good!she always said just noodle...not this time, I was shocked! The summer rolls were really fresh and the peanut sauce melted it well...very fresh too! Why are you still reading this review????!!!!! Go get you some and I promise you won't be disappointed!

Place was very underwhelming. Granted, i am a tough critic since i am very familiar with vietnamese cuisine, but this place overall was heavy on the salt and tasted like it was NOT made with love): Got com heo nuong and the rice was bad, meat was fine but definitely saltier side. Bun thit nuongs were alright but again, meats were heavily salted. Flavor was not giving. Service was kind. Initially gave us the wrong order, but brought out the correct dish for us. Ambiance was pretty outdated as well. Wouldn't recommend to others.

It wasn't very busy when we got here. Maybe one or two other tables. We were seated immediately. I like variety so I got the #5. Tho I'm used to it being a #1. Maybe that's why there is a 5 in the name? it was a good sized bowl. Came with a good amount of Rare Steak-Brisket-Flank Meatball-Tendon-Tripe. The broth had pretty good flavor as well. Of course I amped up the heat with a bunch of sriracha. The rolls were okay. I found the wrapper a little hard. Maybe they were made earlier and sat for a lil bit? The dipping sauce was also a touch too sweet for me. If in the area, not a solid spot to grab a bowl of pho. REVIEW #3879

Here are some things I tried and loved: - Steamed dumplings: they are petite and meaty. Great flavor and perfect for sharing with another person or eating alone. (I believe you get 5 on a plate) - Ka Prow (Thai Basil): This is my typical go-to and a staple dish for Thai restaurants. I like that their version isn't too spicy but it does have a nice kick. They also add in many big cut veggies to complement the protein chosen. My only minor gripe is I could use a little more rice. - Crispy Beef: This dish is still good! It does lean a bit sweet but good. - Spicy Tilapia Mango Sauce: This dish took me by surprise. I was not excited about having tilapia but I was interested in the spicy and sweet contrast of this dish! When it arrived, it was a good size piece of fish which I didn't expect. The only thing that was odd for me was the cashews. Next time I will ask them not to add that. In short, I had a much better time dining here over the last year. And if you are looking for a nice quiet lunch spot for friends, the service is good, restuarant is spacious, and food is good. What more could you need!

I've always stuck with simple dishes - as well as always getting the hottest of the hot dishes. But this visit I wanted something simple so I opted for Thai Basil Fried rice with egg. Unfortunately the flavor didn't grab me and there wasn't much eggs in the dish. My mom got pad thai which the cook accommodated with thick sized noodles. Service was hospitable and very quiet which I liked - it was only myself and my mom. So if you like quiet and traditional menu then give this a try. I'm thinking this particular visit was off.

I visited a few other times in 2024-2025. A Meetup group I'm a part of likes to go here after the dinner & game Meetup. The staff is accommodating as we are rushing to get here before 10 PM closing time, really by 9:45. The organizer of the Meetup suggested ordering ahead on the app, so they aren't so slammed with 10 (or whatever #) of people 15 minutes before closing. I heeded his advice. They are efficient getting the drinks done in a timely manner. Staff is nice, and they aren't abrupt with kicking us out the second it hits 10 PM (like Starbucks the very second it's closing time, they will practically yell at you to get the heck out of there). At Gong Cha, the staff is polite about it, and we try to still rush to clean up and get out. My girlfriend & I will split the largest size for cost & calorie efficiency.
