8/9/2026 It's been a cool 11 years since I've been to this location and I wasn't as great as I remember, but then again I've tried a lot in the last year. I was greeted with the biggest smile when I walked in and you sit anywhere that's open I'm not sure if I have a doppelgänger cause the server said welcome back lol. I got the #10 added spice and bean sprouts and a Vietnamese coffee. I went to the bathroom for 2 minutes and my food was waiting which was not a good sign. The broth had no real flavor or depth the spice was nice tho, the noodles tasted mealy not too pleasant and the meat was a bit tuff. My go to pho lunch spot that's located near my office. I've been going here for 10+ years off and on even when it was owned by a different person with a different business name. The service is always attentive and fast with consistently good pho and a reasonable price. They always have plenty of siracha and other condiments. Check this place out as it's the best in the area. First time dinning at this pho restaurant. Upon walking in, the restaurant is clean and calm. Appreciate the music sound level isn't too loud or quiet, just right. Greeted & seated right away, as the restaurant had few other customers. The staff were attentive and brought out food at reasonable time. My fellow vegetarians, this facility offers veg pho w/ veg broth--as this is essential for myself. Vegetarian spring rolls were our absolute FAVORITE 10/10. My pho had variety of veggies (cabbage, carrots, fried tofu, onions), bit thicker rice noodles, also added bean sprouts and lime. The broth had a faint flavor, wish it was more flavorful. Added soya sauce to add flavor. Hubby had the chicken pho, which he said had a flavorful broth and enjoyed. Both pho bowls were filled to the brim and we couldn't finish our meal, even after taking breaks. Another thing, wish they would keep soya sauce on the tables, had to keep asking the staff and only bought little. Overall, we would come back for the spring rolls & to try other dishes. I walked in and ordered an extra spicy chicken veggi pho to go. At other restaurants, it usually takes 10-15 minutes to get my order ready. Here, it took 5 seconds. Apparently they pre-package to-go orders in advance. So mine was just sitting there behind the counter for Lord knows how long! That being said, no time, energy or care was taken into making sure it was spicy. I even asked, How could it be mine and spicy, I literally just gave you my order. I was assured it was spicy. I get home and it's not. It was cold, plain, mediocre pho with chicken too hard to swallow w/unseasoned vegetables. I literally could not eat it, had to throw away. Solid pho at a good price. I want in craving a broken rice dish or maybe a crepe but they only have pho (which is fine) and some apps. I had the brisket an d flank pho. Springs rolls were tasty. They charge you extra for the bean sprouts basil and jalapeño for your soup. read more

We are from Texas and this was our last meal before we headed to the airport. The service was fast and friendly. The waiter actually checked back on us! haha It is just an unspoken thing that usually at Asian restaurants, the waiters never check back on you after your food has been delivered. The menu has a few appetizers and is basically a restaurant that specializes in pho. They don't have other common Viet dishes like vermicelli or rice plates. The food is pretty good! The broth itself was flavorful, but didn't have the usual pho flavor that I expected. It was heavier on maybe...5 spice? When eaten together with the noodles and meat, the soup itself then tasted bland as a whole. However, it was easily fixed with Hoisin sauce and/or Sriracha. I wanted a quick snack after getting a pedicure next door so I stopped in to look at the menu. I saw eggrolls for $5.95 and placed an order. I noticed the menu had other delicious options that I'll have to return for a soon. My order took about 5 minutes to come out. Once I got to the car, I quickly took a bite of one of the rolls. I feel like this place gets overlooked because of Little Spice next door and the Indian restaurant, but it really is a gem in our neighborhood. Service is quick and place is clean for dining. I prefer to dine in here instead of taking out because food comes out tasting way better at the restaurant vs. getting reheated again in the microwave. I usually get the #5 combo with all the beef types variations and can hardly finish the bowl by myself. I like the broth and can really build it with hoisin sauce and extra vegetables. I've also had their appetizers like the summer and spring rolls and they are delicious as well. First time at Pho 5up. Had the #5 beef combo and some egg rolls. The pho was delicious, even before I spiced it up with the Sambal chili paste and sriracha sauce. Good portions of fantastic broth and veggies and a ton of perfectly cooked noodles. The place was spotlessly clean. The service was attentive without being annoying. I am a regular customer at Pho 5 Up in Hanover, Md. I came to get Pho on 11/11/24 around 8 p.m. The server was a different person from the regular staff that takes my orders. When I order my Pho, I always request 2 additional Sriracha's sauces and 4 Hoisin sauces which brings my total to $14.30. Tonight when this person rung up my order, it came to $14.87. In the past, they would charge me a flat rate for both the Hoisin and Sriracha sauces. This person charged me $.54 twice for both sauces. When I asked her why, she started talking really fast and what she was saying didn't make sense. I felt like she was giving me the brush off or trying to hurry up and get rid of me because it was near closing. The staff needs to get on the same page with this matter because it's confusing. Charging different prices for the same request is not a good look. Just saying! read more

One of the best pho places in the area that makes satisfying pho and bun bo hue. The broth is deep and flavorful. They also serve the correct vegetables/add-ons for each noodle dish. The bun bo hue is thoroughly spicy without being really oily, which is rare for Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Note that the bun bo hue does not come with pork blood (which I actually preferred). What surprised me the most was how fast the food was served.
