A gem in Glen Burnie. We wanted some hot soup and noodles and lo and behold, we decided to check out this place. I will say the area was not the most desired, and I had no idea where I was going and what to expect, but when we got here and walked it, we realized how cute the place was. It's simple with its table and counter for ordering. Reminded me of the old East Coast Chinese takeout places, but it was one for Vietnamese food! The menu had a lot of classes and we went with the classics! We ordered Spring Rolls, Cha Gio, Bun Bo Hue, and Pho. Everything held so much flavor! The place was pretty busy with the line for takeout, and the tables did end up getting filled up. There is a feel of it being a family business, which was nice. Customer service was great! One of the better phos I've had in a while, and I've tried a lot of pho in the DMV. Right balance of quantity of noodles, protein, aromatics and oils, and garnishes. Rainy and cool weather warrants a nice heaping bowl of pho. I've seen so many great reviews for Pho District, I was excited to be in the area to finally try it out. My usual with spring rolls was marvelous. While the bowls here are one size and slightly higher in price, the portions are very generous. The broth was piping hot and perfect to my liking, and the protein ratio was on point. It was a busy hour when I arrived, and it seemed as though 5 tables were sat about the same time, with one large group of 8. The gentleman who worked the entire dining space which isn't that big, really hustled and bussed the tables to serve everyone as best as he could. First visit and it won't be the last. I was pleasantly surprised when I found this spot. In a shopping mall near the hospital, it's styled like a new age Vietnamese joint. They have beautiful spray painted murals on the walls of Vietnam. Wide variety of food from pho, to bun (vermicelli bowls), to banh mi. They also have a variety of appetizers and speciality drinks including boba and Vietnamese coffee. Waiter was nice and attentive. Beautiful and comfortable interior with Pleasant music playing at a nice volume, unlike so many other places. The owners have poured their heart and soul into Pho District. Call me crazy, but I am addicted to their aluminum water glasses that reminded me of growing up in West Philadelphia when every homeowner had a set. They keep your beverages, nice and cool But now the Pho... great broth. Nice spices. Nice proteins. Wonderful. If you have any doubts about this place, please don't have any. The bread is made in-house, which makes a big difference in the bánh mì. The Northern-style pho has bold spices, a deep beefy flavor, and plenty of meat. The bún bò Huế is super approachable (no pork hock or pork blood), perfectly spicy, rich, oily, and full of lemongrass flavor. And the tacos? Absolutely get them. I came in not totally sure what I wanted. I wasn't ready for a bánh mì yet, so I went with what I know best -- soup. To start, I ordered the fried spring rolls. Everything looked pretty standard when it hit the table... until that first bite. Confusion -- the good kind. How were these spring rolls this flavorful? Crispy, hot, and packed with taste. There wasn't a ton of dipping sauce, but honestly, it didn't matter. What was there was so good I ended up tossing the carrot side mix into the sauce just to stretch every last bit of it. No shame. Then came the pho. This is where they really won me over. The broth had deep, rich flavor right away. At most other spots, I end up drowning my bowl in Sriracha just to wake it up. Not here. This broth stood on its own. Balanced, savory, and comforting without needing much of anything added. That's always the sign of a legit pho spot -- when the soup doesn't need rescuing. You can also order at the counter to go, or call in and pick up. We ate there and were greeted as soon as we walked in. We choose where to sit and someone came and handed us menus and waters right away. We ordered a strawberry and passion fruit drink, spring rolls (comes 2 per order ) pho, and a Korean bbq banh mi. The drinks were good and spring rolls came out nice and hot. My daughter really enjoyed her pho the broth was delicious and it was nice decent size. I LOVED the banh mi I ordered. So delicious. I thought of ordering another one to go, and regretting not doing so. I would go back again and again just for that banh mi. The only note I have is that they charge for to-go containers if you don't finish you pho and want to take it with you. It's not much I think a $1 for the large and .50 cents for a small, that just caught me by surprise so thought I'll share so you're aware, but doesn't have impact on my review, will be returning. read more

I definitely recommend the fresh summer rolls - they have one of the best peanut sauces I've had. The restaurant itself is a small, cozy, quiet place. It's clean and has some nice artwork inside, which gives it a pleasant vibe overall. The main downside is the service. It's pretty hit or miss and usually not very attentive. They often forget to bring water, some tables don't even have napkins so I've had to grab them from other tables, and servers rarely check in or refill drinks. The overall attitude sometimes feels like they just want to get through the shift as quickly as possible. This was such a pleasant experience. I am pregnant, nauseated and so picky with food and wanted some pho. This is my second time actually having pho and it was absolutely delicious. So flavorful and full of veggies. I got the shrimp pho, added veggies with beef broth. My husband got the chicken pho with veggie broth. Both were very flavorful! We also ordered spring rolls, fries and wings for our 4 year old. He loved the pho and preferred my broth. Everyone working there was also so sweet and welcoming. Beautiful on the inside. This is the greatest sandwich I've had in my life. Every week, several times I go to Eden Center, which is a hub for all things Vietnamese in the the DC metro area. I've been going to different shops there, hunting down the best banh mi money can buy. Which I thought was either PhoWheels (Arlington) or Banh Mi Oi (Eden Center). On a lark, on a flight back from iceland I decided to start by this place. Oh boy. This is such a unique banh mi because it uses an actual french baguette. The crisp, savory texture is just absolutely to die for. I've never had such a perfectly baked and toasted baguette, even in a French bakery. The fillings are generous in both meat and vegetables and since it's made to order, the freshness is second to none as most places do a lot of their sandwiches ahead of time. The only sandwich that I've had that can really compare to this besides those two in VA is this one I had in San Diego a few years ago. But this is better. This might be the best banh mi in America. You think I'm exaggerating, but the sandwich has changed my life. From now on, every single time I drive to Maryland I'm stopping by here. The people who live near here are the luckiest people in the world. I wish I had a picture but once again I ate both sandwiches too fast. One clarification, the Korean barbecue is the best sandwich I've had in my life. The chicken, I was not a huge fan of how it was cooked. But it is perfectly executed, just like the Korean barbecue sandwich. So I can't really even deduct any points. I don't deserve this sandwich. I'm just a guy lucky enough to have a mouth and a stomach and a wallet and I was in Glenn Bernie at a pivotal point in history when the best sandwich in America existed near me. What's even more remarkable is I came just twenty minutes before closing time. Typically, most restaurants are serving leftovers by this point. But this was fresher than any sandwich I've ever had before. The operational excellence of this place is outstanding. I salute you and you will see me many, many more times in the future. I've eaten my fair share of pho and bahn mi around the DMV and I was super excited to try this place out. The summer rolls were good. I definitely prefer just shrimp or pork or the combination.. I didn't enjoy the shredded chicken with it. It was super dry and lacked any flavor and the texture of shredded gritty chicken just was not my thing. We then ordered the grilled pork bahn mi. Now I have Bahn Mi Oi to compare it to and I have to be truly honest BAHN MI OI still rains supreme. The bread and grilled pork filling was okay. The pork didn't have much flavor in comparison and the bread didnt have the nice crunch on the outside and is much smaller as well Overall its a 7/10 for the bahn mi. The bun bo hue broth was decent flavor. I wish it had more lemongrass flavor and spice ,but overall I do give it a 7/10 as well because the one in Gaithersburg that I love has more flavor and lemongrass and is super super flavorful etc .. I think the bread on the Banh Mi was the best I have ever had. We spoke to the owner, MJ and she said she and her husband (who is Vietnamese ) went to Vietnam to learn how to make the bread.
