Come here for the occasional lunch special. It's offered from 11-3 Mon/Friday. We ordered the General Tso's chicken with fried rice and the shrimp in lobster sauce (no veggies) with fried rice and an order of shrimp toast. We always call our order in and by the time we arrive it is ready. Chopstixx is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. You can also dine in if you choose. They also have a new smoothie/ bubble tea menu as well. The staff is always pleasant and the ambiance is quiet and serene every time I come here. The lunch portions are always enough. The General Tso's chicken was fresh, flavorful, and had a nice slightly spicy, sweet sauce. The fried rice is basic with carrots and peas. The shrimp in lobster sauce was good with the sauce not runny and the shrimp fresh. The shrimp toast is best eaten soon as it will become soggy; it was somewhat greasy, but edible. I've been coming here since the first owner opened. I keep coming back because I'm never disappointed. After I moved from Elkridge 160 miles away, i always come back for a meal coming or going to BWI. Tonight is no exception. In the past I always order Chicken Thai style as I love Thai basil. To night, since the menu has changed I went for pick 3. Hunan chicken with spring roll and fried chicken dumplings. I also ordered hot and sour soup. Everything was excellent and filling except when I went to the restroom they cleared my table. Very strange, and I'll keep coming back but keep a better watch on my meal next time. This place has gone through a couple of management & chef changes over the past decade. With that said, the latest team has tried to keep all the original menu items from before. Chopstixx is in the shopping area with the Green Valley Market. Plenty of parking, but you might have to walk a little bit. Parking lot is tight. The place has not changed except for a few interior design touch ups to keep it fresh. Food is decent, but not consistent. Definitely one of the better Chinese Food Carryouts in the area. Most things are made to order, so you will have to wait for your food. Prices have slowly increased but still affordable. read more

Ordered the shrimp lo mein for delivery and I was very satisfied! The noodles were nice and the shrimp was practically melt-in-my-mouth. The delivery person was very polite and the delivery actually came a whole thirty minutes before the estimated time! Big fan of this very consistent and friendly family-owned casual Chinese and Pan-Asian spot! Portions are generous and an amazing value. The Lunch Specials are a lot of food, and if you're starving or want a bunch of leftovers to take home, order the entrée size and you will pleasantly surprised by the heft of your plate of made-to-order food! Anything combination involving String Beans and the Sliced Fish Filet is always very appealing and masterfully wok'd. They *can* be a bit heavy-handed with the sauce in various dishes, which I realize some customers might love, but I typically always request "light on the sauce" and it comes out perfect. My standard order as of late is a somewhat customized one, but they are super cool about making sure you get what you are in the mood for. I've been getting the Sliced Fish Filet with String Beans only in the Thai Style (basil in spicy thai fish sauce) with light sauce (see pic below). So good! Their large-sized Hot And Sour Soup is enough for 3 or 4 people, has a lot of good ingredients in it, is delicious, and has a light viscosity which I appreciate - not an overbearing amount of corn starch, which can plague a lot of traditional American-Chinese soups (but not this one!) Nice work, Chopstixx chefs! If you dine in, there are tidy jars of homemade chili oil in the drink cooler as well as Sriracha bottles. The available hot mustard packets (no food coloring and no sugar!) also go great with their homemade spring rolls - great to see that they actually make the effort to craft their own rolls instead of serving the generic and starchy US Foods / Sysco spring rolls that you see almost everywhere you go. Oh, and their Brown Rice is really good. It comes out with a firmer al dente texture that I enjoy. Bonus! Perfect option to stop 'n' eat if you are on the way to Baltimore Washington International Airport and need to grab food before your flight, or if you're flying in to BWI and need to eat before heading down towards DC. We ordered from Chopstixx last night after recently moving to Elkridge and previously being unable to find Chinese food at other places in the area comparable to our previous favorite spot. It was excellent! Meat and veggies were fresh and appeared to be of high quality. In all, we ordered chicken lo mein, general tsos chicken and Singapore noodles. Wow. I thought I reviewed this place five years ago! My bad. Five years ago this would have been an easy 5 star review. Not so much now. We used to absolutely love Chopstixx's (I have no idea how to make this restaurant's name possessive ...) food. We used to have them deliver probably 1-2 times per month. Now, however, their food is just not nearly as good as it used to be. I gauge my Chinese restaurants on their pork fried rice. Why? I dunno ... it's just my thing. A great batch of pork fried rice, as simple as it is, can really make my day. Nowadays very few places have really good pork fried rice. Chopstixxxxx's's's (however it's spelt) was phenomenal. Now it's purely average. As is the rest of their food, in our opinions. We go every few months (eat in) but that's been slowing down for the last couple of years mostly due to their food going south. Delivery was fine back in the day. When we eat in now, however, the service is just not that great. They are very polite, but they absolutely don't do anything to go overboard at all. We were there just the other day. Our egg rolls, normally an American staple appetizer at Chinese restaurants came last. What's up with that? So we won't be going to Chopstixx very often, if ever again. Hopefully they can bring their food standards back up to where they were five or so years ago. I used to come by here very often due to it being the only restaurant in the area providing bubble tea. The food was good to back then due to the price and the drink deals they if you ordered from their Street Food menu. It was good portion and flavorful. However, I decided to come by here recently, but I was very unsatisfied with the food. I ordered Pad Thai, Malaysian Kway Teow, Calamari, and two drinks. The quality of the food has gone down. The Pad Thai and Kway Teow are not as flavorful as before. It was pretty bland in my opinion, but it could just be a bad day. It also felt like they skimped on the ingredients and gave a lot of noodles. The calamari had a funky taste to it. It smelled good, but there was a weird taste to it, which I can't pin point. Metal-tasting? I still finished it, and it didn't give me any problems. I would give this place another try in the future when I am in the area, since they do have a decent deal for food and drink combo from the Street Food menu. The bubble tea drinks were okay. It nothing amazing, but they taste like what they're supposed to taste like. The bubbles were kind of on the soft side and not very fresh-tasting, so I wouldn't recommend getting the bubbles with the drinks. I would not come here for just the bubble tea. read more

I am very particular about where I order Chinese food. This place is near my job and I have passed it a couple of times so I decided to order a lunch dish. The presentation was nice. It came in a 3-part container with an appetizer, rice and your entree. The interior is nothing to brag about, it could use a facelift but that isn't the most important part.. How was the food??.. I ordered shrimp and broccoli in their spicy garlic sauce. The shrimp was a pretty good size and the broccoli was fresh. The flavor to me was just ok. Their Kung pao chicken is listed as $11.48 online along with the pick 2 sides options, but they charged me $13.50 at pick up. I asked why there was a price difference between online and pickup and the front counter girl just kept saying she doesn't know and that she could not adjust or honor the price. Simply, the person who made the website put the wrong price. She went to the back to see if she could adjust the price for me (so clearly they could...) but the chef said no. She then told me that her hands are tied and that she can't do anything about it. It's 2 bucks, so I paid and got the hell out of there. Not to my surprise, the Kung Pao Chicken was watery, nothing but corn, carrots and barely any chicken. Please don't make the same mistake as me and waste money. read more

I've never been to the Elkridge area so I stumbled by here on accident, and I'm glad I did! I was in the mood for dumplings so I found this place on my way from school. I just wanted to try a few items so I stuck with the appetizer section. I got popcorn shrimp, spicy chicken wontons, and chicken gyoza. They're all reasonably priced, which is great for me. The popcorn shrimp was good, not the best but I liked it with the sauce that came with the chicken wontons instead of the cocktail sauce. The chicken wontons were really good, I just wish it was a little bigger. It's mostly just wrapper. I love the chicken gyoza! They remind me of what a good gyoza should taste like. It was flavorful and delicious. I haven't tried any of their main dishes, so I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area & will update my review then. read more

Despite having to wait way too long for my take out order one time, I am a huge fan of Chopstixx! It was so good that I ended up eating here 6 meals in a row.... even though it seems like they mainly do delivery orders as it is a small restaurant with the largest seat being the one round table they have that can seat up to six comfortably. All the rest are smaller tables for groups of 4. So what is amazing here? Take the green street food menu and you will see: Mandarin style fish ($11) Mapo Tofu ($10) Malaysian Kwey Teow ($10) With all the dishes around $10, it is quite the bargain. I noticed you do get more food when you are dining because they serve everything on a gigantic oblong plate. I also loved their in house spicy chili oil. I would have never known that there would be such amazing Chinese food at this little humble carry out, but I was thoroughly impressed. The food is not too oily or salty. It was not greasy and they appear to use clean oil to cook the food each time. It was simply fantastic and after introducing it to my Chinese foodie family members, they even love it. If I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular customer. This became my new after work pick me up on a rainy day. I've had their drunken noodles, beef noodle soup, and boba. The tea itself is okay, but their bubbles are cooked perfectly and delicious. The sweeter deal is that some of their teas are only $1 plus $0.50 for bubbles (and it's a large size!) Both the drunken noodles and beef noodle soup were delicious and I'm excited to try more items on the menu. The service is great, and I'm always greeted with smiles.
