We love this local spot. We consistently order the chicken and veggie pho and every time we have it, it is delicious! It's been so rainy lately, and it's been the perfect weather to enjoy hot pho. Pro Tip: get an extra side order of noodles and add that to the pho. It makes it even more filling. Enjoy! read more

The food is solid, though consistency has slipped a bit over the years. When it's on, it's very good--but quality can be uneven. With pho especially, the broth is everything, and this place delivers a great broth about 80% of the time. That said, the restaurant is clean and service is fast, which keeps it in regular rotation. Still a dependable option--just hoping for more consistency moving forward. read more

I've passed by Pho 5up plenty of times before finally deciding to stop in, and I'm so glad I did! I've always been loyal to another pho spot, but after coming here now a few times with my son, we'll definitely be regulars. Their broth is top-notch (which is a big deal for us), the portions are generous, staff are nice and service is fast! So happy to have a great pho spot close to home! read more

Awful! The previous owner and his chef are gone. The new owner is Korean and the pho is inauthentic and plain awful. Pho tastes watered down, none of the sauce go with the dishes. I got the goi ga and the stuffed grapes leaves. They used the same chili sauce for both. What!? All locations are owned by the same company. Please don't waste your time or money here anymore. You've been warned. read more

Pho 5up was delicious! Clean and quiet restaurant...Was greeted and welcomed by the young lady working the register restaurant and decided to place a to-go order. My veggie soup was delicious! Flavorful and fresh. Love how the fixings were served in an actual bowl and you just add your broth to it. My veggie spring rolls were tasty too! Just wish they added shrimp to the roll. Next time will ask if this is something their able to do :))) Happy Yelping! read more

I've been wanting to try this place, everytime I pass by, because I love Pho! Read the reviews and it seemed to be a great place to eat per past visitors. Everything was as described! The place had a nice ambiance if you want to dine in, which we opted to do so. The service was outstanding from beginning to end. You were greeted upon arrival and checked on as needed until you left. (Not overbearing either, just at the right times.. must say very attentive) They made sure you were satisfied. The food was great, Pho had a great broth. The spring/egg rolls were very tasty and everything was very much satisfying. It definitely hit the spot and I will be back for sure. Yum If you're in the Crofton area, don't pass this spot by.. give it a try. I'm sure you'll like it! read more

This is a small place in a semi industrial strip mall that I have been meaning to try, so I finally got a chance. It does a lively takeout trade, although there were some other folks dining in as well. The service was prompt, the soup was tasty and I would definitely stop in again. read more

I arrived at 8:33pm and was too late to eat in the restaurant before closing so I ordered my well-done brisket pho carry out. I don't usually order pho carry out but i didn't have long to wait and it was packaged nicely with a small bag of condiments, bean sprouts, hot pepper, a packet of hoisin sauce and sriracha, lime and basil. I added my fish sauce from home and crunchy garlic with chili oil. I enjoyed my pho but think I would've enjoyed it a little more in the restaurant. read more

Take out yesterday. Rare Steak, Brisket, meatballs and tendons. This is my second time ordering and I can't recommend highly enough Pho 5UP Crofton. They separate each orders ingredients into individual containers but put some in the included bowl like the beef, noodles and jalapeños. First pic is everything in the bowl with fresh almost flowery broth given. Second is cooked 4 minutes high in microwave. I only ordered one serving but when mixed with a little more water, I actually MADE TWO BOWLS for just $12.95. Did I mention how fantastically fresh everything is?? You can't even buy ingredients this fresh at the grocery store. So naturally organic I can feel the health moving through my body. read more

Absolutely phenomenal! This place is a must-visit for food lovers. Don't skip the appetizers--they might just be the best part of the menu. I started with the egg roll (similar to a spring roll), and it was perfection--packed with pork and veggies, cooked to crisp perfection. My favorites, though, were the shrimp summer roll and the chicken salad. The shrimp summer roll was wrapped in delicate rice paper (not chewy or tough like at other places), and every bite was a fresh, flavorful delight. As for the chicken salad, it was a standout--perfectly seasoned chicken (not spicy), paired with crisp lettuce, red onions, and scallions, all tossed in a refreshing citrus dressing. Absolute yum! The service was fantastic as well, super friendly over the phone and helpful, patiently answering all my questions. Thai iced tea was delicious too! What really stood out overall was how fresh and flavorful everything was, with minimal oil--a detail that made a huge difference. I've visited Crofton and Odenton, both locations are cozy and clean. I can't wait to come back! read more

Went to this location for the first time. Like it quite a bit more than the Annapolis location. It's cleaner, friendlier and faster. Much cleaner. Nice inside. Also the soup is better. To me it tastes like the broth had more flavor to it (it can be a bit watered down in Annapolis) and the greens were more plentiful. Will definitely be back. $12.95 for a large bowl read more

Good food and Pleasant customer service. I will visit this place again. Pho was tasty.

I absolutely love this place! The prices are great, and the flavor of the broth is amazing -- rich, comforting, and full of depth. Every bowl tastes fresh and authentic. The staff is always friendly, and the service is quick. Definitely one of my go-to spots for pho! read more

Something about my desire for pho was unmatched. My gosh to spot wasn't open, and I found that this was the next best thing. This location has more than just pho; however, I didn't see an option with all the meats that I normally get. The price here is slightly higher than what I'm used to, but I think it's because of all the nifty things you get with your take out order.... The pho was absolutely delightful- there was nothing that I needed to add to it, I was pleased. I also got the summer rolls, which were so tasty, I especially loved the peanut sauce on the side. My order was ready when I got there, the interior is quaint and cozy. They got the name wrong on the order and the gent behind the counter wasn't the nicest when I attempted to explain that to him. I didn't want someone else's food, you know.... Nevertheless, the food was delightful and I will return when I have another hankering. read more

Great soup. Great price. Great service. Nothing to complain about. Glad I swung by. Pretty generous serving size too.

We finally got around to trying this place for lunch, and it was definitely worth the wait. The menu is really small, which was my biggest complaint. Most Vietnamese places have a much broader menu, with many options beyond pho. It's funny because both me and my dining partner both wanted non-pho dishes that day, but I guess when the place is called "Pho 5up"... Anyway, it's a two page menu, so it's pretty short and sweet. All the pho (unless indicated) was $13 per bowl, one size fits all. You get a choice of side with it (by default, they bring you the standard "fixins" of sprouts, basil, lime and jalepeno), and there's also a good sampling of apps you can choose from. We had the egg rolls, which came out super hot and really delicious. The pho was actually one of the best bowls I've ever had! There was something really good about the broth that made it stand out over others. Not saying I've had a bad bowl anywhere, but this one... it just hit on all the right notes. You could smell the individual spices they used, and the flavor was savory and complex. It just worked on every level. I'd definitely come back if I'm just in the mood for pho. If I have a craving for other Vietnamese dishes, I'm fortunate to have a couple of other joints nearby that can satisfy those cravings. But, for pho, I'm a fan of this one. read more

Growing up, I didn't care for soup. So anything with broth was out for a decade or so of my life. Now that my palette's grown, finally tried pho! Yes, you read that right. I'm a pho first timer! This junk was delicious. Beef flank, onions, scallion, fresh mint, rice noodles, jalapeños, bean sprouts, lime-- it's a yes for me. Once I added that hoisin and hot sauce to that broth (last pic)-- BABYYYYY!!! Since this was my first time, I don't have any pho spots to compare it to. But Pho 5Up gets a 10/10! Portion size was huge, and I love leftovers! read more

Ah a small hidden gem of the highway! I got the small beef combo and it was yummy! The broth was hearty & flavorful. The service is quite fast, although no one came to check on me after my food was delivered. I ordered a Thai iced coffee Togo and it was a lil too think and sweet. I didn't even drink it. I just left smh. I'll def be back for the pho, the coffee, not so much! read more

My visit to Pho 5up is always pleasant, it's a place a regularly visit when I work in Crofton. First the establishment is warm and inviting and the staff are quick and friendly, there is never a long wait time and the food is always hot. I got the egg rolls which are always a great starter, they are crunchy and seasoned well. And the main attraction the pho I know everyone dresses theirs up in a different way but I like to keep it simple, sprouts, lime, and jalapeño. Amazing balance of flavors and such a filling meal. Choices of meat may vary but the constant is the broth and the balance of flavors. I strongly recommend visiting. read more

Past by this place all the time while driving back down to southern Maryland from visiting family. Decided to try this spot out with my mom since I was in the area. The portion size was more than enough - I also ordered the Spring rolls which were ok; I gave it 3 stars based on service. No one checked back with us to see if we needed more water or if we needed anything else - it was here's your dish - thank you come again. My mom is Vietnamese and so being part also, I've had the chance to have authentic Pho around the Saigon area. I'm glad that they stayed true to the flavors - would I come back -eh if I was in the mood but I normally frequent another Vietnamese spot up the road in the Crofton area ;) read more

This is their second location. Be careful not to miss this place as you drive by. They've been open a little over a month now but by the way the atmosphere grabbed me, I'm sure they'll do well. So far so good. I wish I had known this spot was here before I ordered food from a close by restaurant. But I walked in and saw a clean establishment, friendly staff, and limited menu selections. Limited selections typically depict confidence in recipes. I ordered the Green Milk Tea and Egg Rolls. Both were good. The tea had deep matcha flavor and the egg roll was crispy and good size. I'm looking forward to coming back to actually try their Pho. read more

Best Pho in the entire area! We have tried them all since moving to AA from MCo. The broth is very flavorful with lots of the spices you expect from true Pho. Our favorite is the Tofu w Vegetables w Beef Broth or plain Noodle Soup. Also, the Brisket is great. You get one free side choice out of 5 choices. We love the Egg Rolls and the Shrimp & Pork Summer Rolls for Appetizers. The decor inside is amazingly beautiful. Seriously, I have never seen a more beautiful Pho Restaurant inside. Very clean. Nice calming atmosphere. Could even be a date place if wanted. 10/10. We have gotten it to go many many times during Covid. Today was our first day dining in. Very nice and friendly staff. ** Please check it out and support this wonderful business. Still Very Covid compliant even after restrictions lifted. Food was decent, but they up charge for everything and portions don't match pricing. Ordered shrimp pho with spicy veggie broth. Love this. Always good. A little pricey. But worth it. I always order to go and pick up.

The pho was absolutely delicious and the portion size was amazing! I will definitely be back!

The portion was ok but small amount of vegetables and noodles. The summer rolls were good. A little disappointed but overall decent

The food was delivered extremely quickly. I had my bowl(15. Beef and Pork Spicy Noodle Soup) as soon as I sat down from washing my hands. I was pleasantly surprised that the noodles were different from the noodles at other pho restaurants. The broth was pleasant and not overwhelming spicy, the beef and pork were a fair portion. They had a lovely interior. Very modern with warm lights and dark leather seats made for a cool experience especially since it's summer, but the bathrooms soap had a very unpleasant odor. All together it was definitely worth a stop read more

I was much impressed by Pho 5up, both by the quality of the food and packaging for pickup orders! Pho was one of those foods we really missed during this quarantine. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw that Pho 5up was open for pick up orders. My husband and I both ordered #5 (the special combo with all cuts of meat). There was fresh steak and plenty of beansprouts/ lime/ jalapenos/ mint that came on the side. The broth tasted clean and fresh and noodle was not overcooked at all. One minor thing that does not affect my reviews is that they only have one-size. It was comparable to a "medium" size elsewhere- enough for my husband, a tad bit too much for me. Regardless, this is the only solid pho place we found in our neighborhood and will be ordering from here in the future. read more

Pretty much order the same thing and eat inside, healthy roles and tofu salad. The service provided is great every time. The owner/manager recognizes and makes a special visit to greet and thank me.
