I must've felt the same way multiple times visiting this location. This is now my second review and second trip to Thai, and my last review is pretty accurate - this is a good SOLID 4-star restaurant. It's been nearly 2-years since I had been last, and the slight language barrier that I previously mentioned, I would say is still the same. But that curry, might've been better the second time. "ABCD-eliocious" as my family and I say! The only reason this spot did not give 5-stars is because their wings, are the type of big, fat wings, and I don't personally like those. Like hormone/something injected fed-wings are how I would describe how they tasted. Flavorful, but fake. BUT THAT CURRY...... 1000000% need that again!

Thoughts: I went in with one question, is Asian cuisine as searing as African cuisine, Find out next time on DBZ Preview: To begin let me say if you like spicy or can't tolerate spicy be very careful when they ask you about the level, they are in fact no joke. The entire table was sweating. Food: Spring Rolls- Really fresh tasting and healthy- 7/10 Healthy Rolls- Nope lol not for us Crispy Salmon Roll- Very good a fresh taste and nice piece of Salmon inside- 8/10 Bangkok Wings- Yup Yup Yup 10/10 we legit had a rock-paper-scissors for the last one Lemon Chicken- Very good maybe could have used a little more seasoning the sauce seemed to maybe take away from it -8/10 Pad Thai- Looked good my brother said it tasted great I semi trust it haha- 8/10 Flank Steak Ka-Pow ON Rice- I got 5 out of 5 spice levels, I'm not cooling my tongue that is just how I breathe hahaha, Very good it was spicy, I had a little perspiration but nothing you could see. Seasoned very well, flavors blend so well together would have like more sauce- 8.8/10 Service: Very good, I can always appreciate a waiter that can give good recommendations and crack jokes -9/10 Ambiance: Definitely a great date night spot and location, the views inside bring culture and aesthetics Not to mention you have the movies, escape room and ice cream spot all within walking distance- 8.9/10 Recommendation: If you like spicy and asian cuisine then look no further if you are in the Crofton area. Just make sure if you don't know about spicy to ask for it on the side and they will bring out the spicy tray to give you the choice to add levels.- 9/10

This Thai restaurant has been consistent in delivering great quality dishes for years. The decoration is in constant evolution, creating a very comfortable for the valuable guests that we are. The staff is efficient in their execution, and sometimes, that all you need however sometimes you need a friendlier welcome.

I'd heard so much about Thai at Waugh Chapel and saw reviews a couple of months back about their late-night happy hour, so I decided to stop by late Friday night. When I arrived and sat at the bar, I found out they no longer offer it, which was a bit of a shame. Since I was already there and hungry, I checked out the regular menu. I ordered the Wonderful cocktail because I love lavender--it was tasty and well-balanced. I'd also heard people raving about the salmon rolls and Cry Baby Noodles from the Netflix show Hunger, so I ordered both. Everything came out quickly and piping hot. The salmon rolls were like fried sushi wrapped in a spring roll--good flavor, though I think they would've been even better paired with an aioli. The Cry Baby Noodles were delicious but very spicy. I ordered the medium heat level, and it was still pretty hot. Overall, the aesthetics are great and the bartender made sure I was okay, though she never mentioned her name. I'll definitely be back to try more--the Thai food was really good, and there's even a cute photo opp when you walk in.

Crispy duck was amazing , branzino was amazing , angry patriot drink was good , purple rain drink was good , Thai tea never fails. Basil , kapow fried rice and regular fried rice are good , gyoza are also always great.

Delicious! I've seen this place many times as I frequent the shopping center. I finally decided to stop in and I'm glad I did. There was a really cute display in the vestibule of the restaurant which my little one enjoyed using for a photo opp. The inside of the restaurant was clean. We had initially phone in a takeout order, but my daughter decided she wanted to eat inside of the restaurant. The staff members were extremely nice and accommodating, bringing us water and even asked if we wanted additional menu items. I had the Ka Pow fried rice with shrimp. It was delectable, a nice portion and tasty.

    Spring Roll

Stopped by Thai at Waugh Chapel for a quick meal on Valentine's day. There wasn't a wait, so we were seated right away. The Crab Rangoons were my favorite, the cream to crunch ratio was perfect. I have had better Spring Rolls but these weren't bad at all. They were fresh and filled with crunchy cabbage. They just weren't seasoned, so the sauce helped. I got the Duck Roll just to try something different. It was aight, the rolls look bite size but they aren't. Lol you will struggle to chew with your mouth shut after putting one in your mouth. Flavor wise it was basic...for me, the mustard was necessary. The sauce on the wings were good, but the chicken wasn't the freshest (which is an immediate turn off). For my entree I got the Soft shell Crab and pumpkin dish, can't figure out what it's called. The sauce was good, the crab wasn't special. It wasn't seasoned, outside of the sauce. The servers were okay. We waited about 15 minutes for our appetizers...They were quick to give us water, but took an hour to bring our entrees. It also seemed like they had a back door open it was freezing. People were eating with their jackets and scarfs on. I probably wouldn't go again, but the food may be worth carrying out.

Had a wonderful experience here! There were five of us and we ordered lots of drinks and got the golden bag appetizers. The service was great, and we enjoyed our round table by the water fountain. I had the Phuket soft shell crab which was amazing! Will definitely go back again. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant and the elephant mural on the wall.

Came for happy hour and enjoyed ourselves. I was a little cautious after multiple reviews stating slow service but that definitely wasn't our experience. The white peach martini was everything I needed it to be. The jacketed shrimp were hot and crispy. The crab fried rice was really good. Not sure if there was a slight sweetness due to the crab or any sauce/seasoning used but it was really tasty. We will be back soon.

It's a very cute place, service was a bit slow-though. However, I was impressed with the presentation. My drink was tasty, the wings were fantastic (ask for extra crispy), rice was so buttery (no need for extra soy sauce and waffle was delicious!!!! I will def be coming back.

I'm back for a mild version of the green curry with flank steak. It is so delicious and bearable for me since it is not that hot for my tongue. I love it. Thank you for this wonderful dinner. I think this is actually a great Thai restaurant with lots of good flavor and special dishes. The service here is wonderful too. My favorite Thai restaurant.

It's current under different ownership - so I can't tell you if the menu has changed much since age 5 , but the floors have been renovated and the menu is simple and traditional with original art and decor. I've always stuck with simple dishes - as well as always getting the hottest of the hot dishes. But this visit I wanted something simple so I opted for Thai Basil Fried rice with egg. Unfortunately the flavor didn't grab me and there wasn't much eggs in the dish. My mom got pad thai which the cook accommodated with thick sized noodles. Service was hospitable and very quiet which I liked - it was only myself and my mom. So if you like quiet and traditional menu then give this a try. I'm thinking this particular visit was off.

As a meat eater, the vegan beef in the Ban Mein was very well seasoned and the flavor indiscernible from real meat. I was especially shocked by how much I enjoyed the vegan nuggets. They had a slightly nutty flavor (likely due to the oil) and a great texture. The salt & pepper tofu and curry puffs were standard, but good. Overall, the food at this restaurant runs a little spicier than usual American Chinese spots.
