Better than most. I have traveled extensively throughout VIETNAM and this is some of the best PHO stateside. I strongly recommend.

Being Vietnamese, Life Pho is deliciously legit in the Vietnamese flavors and consistent in quality, which are very important traits to have for any restaurant. I am leaving a review because it's amazing how an adorable Korean couple can run this restaurant very well. This is my 3rd time coming back and I've been thoroughly impressed. Usually I would sway away from eating Vietnamese food since I have it at home. However, if I am paying and willing to dine out with my husband on our date night today...this place must mean it's damn good. Having Vietnamese soup always hits the spot, especially when I'm suffering from a cold. And even with a cold, the food still tasted amazing. Grilled pork was tender & bún hủ tiếu have bleed cubes --that's the real deal!!! Basically, I think with my background and current physical condition, this review I'm leaving behind speaks for itself. Enjoy the FINE Vietnamese cuisine-- healthy, flavorful, and yummy !

This place is a joke! From being rushed to order to being asked why I needed a plate . . . . SMH I will not be patronizing Life Pho again. We were seated immediately upon entering. Shortly after, a lady approached and asked if we were ready to order. My date ordered first which was the chicken pho along with a taro bubble then I was asked. I gave my pho order and before I could say I didn't want noodles, I was being ordered ice water. I had to wait for her to finish to answer no to the water and inform her I only wanted half noodles with my seafood pho. She repeated half noodles and offered ice water again and I again said no and asked for Thai Bubble Tea. She then repeated it to me like she was surprised . . . SMH and I said yes. I got up and washed my hands and remembered to ask for no ice so went to her at the register and informed her I didn't want ice. I had to say excuse me ma'am twice for her to acknowledge me before I told her about the no ice . . . SMH The soup was brought to the table and I was offered the chicken . . . . I giggled then said no, I ordered the seafood. Funny because my friend is Jewish and I'm black. We both giggled because we are goofballs like that. We started eating and I was using the chop sticks and spoon while he used the spoon. The lady came over and asked if he needed a fork and he said yes. She turned to me and asked if I needed one also and I said for what and she said it's easier. I said no, I'll keep using my chopsticks like I'm currently doing now and smiled. I informed her I would take a plate though and she asked why . . . . (what the) I frimly said because these shrimps are dirty and I need to clean them. Oh yeah, I failed to mention they gave me unclean shrimp SMH. What in the unsanitary mess is that!? It was hilarious plus the pho was bland. I just won't be back. Nope

Bun Bo Hue - more like "Korean pepper flake loaded beef soup"

THIS IS A KOREAN-OWNED RESTAURANT. If you have been here and enjoy the flavor of the food, by all mean, come back and dine here. As a vietnamese, it saddens me that people think the food here is authentic and the flavors do not present Vietnamese food at all. When I first sat down and saw a Korean couple running the restaurant, it should have been a red flag but i decided to stay and give it a try. The price is higher than a lot of true Viet-owned restaurants. The owners (the korean lady and the man) were pretty rude and stern. We ordered Cha Gio (fried spring rolls), Goi Cuon (summer rolls) and Bun Bo Hue (vietnamese style). Not sure why there is a need for American style Bun Bo Hue on the menu. Cha gio: decent, the fish sauce saved it. Goi Cuon: the sauce was very off. Bun Bo Hue: extremely lack of flavor and one dimension. I didn't taste the lemongrass and other Flavors that a Bun Bo Hue must have in this. This one is just full of chilis (more accurately Korean pepper flakes) because they have a distinct flavor and different from the dried chili Vietnamese uses to make Bun Bo Hue. Noodles were "al-dente", which is not ok at all. So if you haven't come here before, please go somewhere else to truly experience Vietnamese authentic flavor.

The restaurant was roomy, bright and clean. The staff were friendly, attentive and made recommendations to add veggies to our meals. The Pho Ga had a flavorful broth and came with a good amount of the additives (Basil, bean sprouts, peppers and lime). The spring rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce was good and sweet. The Boba Thai tea had good flavor, but I didn't realize that the Boba tea didn't have popable Boba, it came with gummy (tapioca) Boba. Next time I know to ask. I'm not a fan of the gummy ones. I did something I have never done before, I got a takeout order of Pho to take back to my sick husband. It all came separated for you to put together when you got home. It was just as good at home as it was in the restaurant. I'm a fan.

Seriously some of the best pho in town! Huge portions, delicious tender meat and great soup. I forgot to take a picture bc I just dug right in, but it was really good even though I did take-out. Also, you HAVE to try the egg rolls - they're literally the best egg rolls I ever had. I would go here again just for the egg rolls. Everything's good, and friendly service also! Will definitely return!

Found while on the road from BWI Airport to the Chesapeake Bay with a bad case of the sniffles. What I was looking for was the deli with Mom's chicken noodle soup and matzo balls but life pho appeared on the strip mall signage and my car steering its way over. I knew some chicken broth with herbs and spices would do me well. When you walk in, the basic dining room is clean and bright with Earth Tones for the color scheme. This sound is a positive, bright air of low-volume chatter and the clinking of Glass Room, but no music and no loud unnecessary noise, what a pleasure. A server came right over to me and was very polite and friendly. The menu is incredibly simple and easy to order from. Fewer items usually means made with more attention and love. I ordered pho ga, or chicken pho, which the server told me was pretty low in MSG. I also ordered some spring rolls. Two spring rolls, cut in half, came fairly quickly and were crispy and not too greasy. The flavor was quite fishy, as expected, and quite good. The sweet sauce wasn't really needed, but I tried it and it was mild. For as long as I've been eating Pho and enjoying it, I've never been an expert so when my entree came, did a quick Google search to make sure I knew what I was doing. This will help you too. http://www.foodrepublic.com/2013/03/28/how-to-eat-a-bowl-of-pho-like-you-know-what-youre-doing/ The nearly clear broth was indeed aromatic and not crazy complex but with enough interesting smells and flavors bursting out before I even mixed it all up, I knew this would be tasty. There was plenty of white chicken meat, scallions and what I think maybe cilantro floating and mixed in. The glass noodles looked beautiful. I tasted the broth before mixing it, and it was wonderful. Exactly what I needed with my head cold, but I would enjoy this on any other day just the same. With healthy nasal passages, I imagine this might even be more aromatic. I took a nice chunk of chicken meat and tasted it before even going near the hoisin sauce, chili or Thai basil. It was tender enough and flavorful. I dug into my bowl with chopsticks and spoon and turned and mixed the pho. My next Spoonful broth was even more flavorful. Again, it was not a forceful, robust pho, but flavorful and delightful. I shredded the basil and sprinkled it across the top of the pole, and I took three or four slices of jalapeno and plunged them in and pulled them apart with chopsticks and spoon. The additional aroma and mild heat did not take over but rather simply mixed in nicely. The phone did not need the additional flavor, but I added it just because I wanted to do it the way I was supposed to do it according to the how to eat pho guidelines! :-) the wedge of lime was definitely not needed. I'm stuffed to the gills loaded with a Vietnamese Mother's cold remedy and headed back out till work! Prices are very reasonable and parking is abundant.

The mango shrimp salad was phenomenal--bright, refreshing, and packed with flavor. It was the perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and savory, and honestly could've been a meal on its own. The fish sauce chicken wings were outstanding: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a rich, savory sauce that kept you reaching for another wing. We also had the bún bò Huế, which was bold and deeply flavorful with a nice level of spice--exactly what you want from this dish. The pho was comforting and well done, with a clean, aromatic broth and generous portions. The spring rolls were fresh and light, a great starter to balance out the heartier dishes. Overall, Pho Diner delivered on every dish we tried. Solid Vietnamese food with great flavors and variety. Definitely a spot worth coming back to if you're in the Pasadena area.

Total came out to approximately $20 (not including tip). What's Hot - Quality. Delicious. My vegetable pho with tofu and vegetables included ingredients like broccoli, carrots, tofu cubes, nappa cabbage and even daikon. - Menu. This is one of the most extensive menus I've seen at a Vietnamese restaurant. Not only do they have the standard pho options, to include bun and drinks, but there are also clay pot options, Singaporean noodles, savory crepes, seafood, and vegan options. There is the option of ordering vegetable broth, which I did, and was delicious. - Price. For the portions and quality of the food, good value for money. I ordered a large pho. That in combination with my summer rolls was enough to get me full and not stuffed. - Service. Because there was a small group of us, we asked they provide us separate checks, which they did. They did a good job of keeping track of our orders and our final tabs were accurate. We did not wait a long time for our food, as well. The only thing that took longer than the pho was the crepe that my friend ordered, but it wasn't too long. My group took a while to order, because we were chatty. We also stuck around for some time after finishing our meals. Their staff was great in checking in on us and refilling our water afterwards. For me, the mark of good service is when they continue to check in on your even after paying your tab. - Layout. It's a small restaurant, but there are booths and tables. There's also a good size parking lot in the plaza. What's Not - Layout. Their layout does not appear to accommodate groups more than 6 people.
