Shrimp Roll

Not sure what has happened to this place? The windows were dirty, the carpet was packed with trash (straws, food debris, checks) and the bathroom was chaotic. It's as if they just hosted a college happy hour and everyone VANISHED. Service was friendly and fast paced. Food was okay. My partner got the Pad Thai which was flavorful and I got the General Tsos Tofu--would not recommend. I was hoping for crispy but ended up with gooey.

P Nice atmosphere and good food. Came in for lunch. The service was quick and the food was hot. It was very flavorful. Not your traditional Chinese restaurant. I recommend eating here if you're ever in the area.

This place is so good! It has become our go-to place for sushi in the area. The raw fish always tastes fresh and the specialty rolls are bright and fun, a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach! The menu is extensive, offering a host of various Asian specialties. In particular, their fried garlic edamame appetizer is delicious. I have yet to dine in here, but I hope to do so in the future!

Drunken chicken

Thai drunken noodles was very greasy And not much flavor. Eel sushi tasted very fishy and looked raw, could not eat it, and every time I tried to tell my waiter he left. The sesame chicken was very good. The chicken fried rice was ok but the rice tasted premade and old. This was a new venture for my grandaughter and I. We will not be back.

Best sushi place in the area, in my opinion! All their food is excellent. Service is outstanding every time we go and we go at least once a month. It's nicely decorated and grear athmosphere. Servers super attentive and friendly!

Good doors. A go to for Chinese in Pasadena. Just wish they had delivery (other than through Grubhub or Ubereats).

Good pan-Asian menu. Everything was decent, nothing was exceptional. Fun to have everything from sushi to Thai curry in one meal.

These hibachi chefs are definitely highly trained and know what they are doing when it comes to the grill and kitchen utensils. To start off, we were given a salad with a delicious ginger dressing. They also gave us a complimentary miso mushroom soup, which was much needed considering how cold the restaurant was. I had the Filet Mignon & Scallops ($39.95) and it was excellent. I asked for medium rare, and he delivered. The filet mignon was so tender and juicy - definitely worth it! The scallops were big and caramelized to perfection and seasoned perfectly. The fried rice, in my opinion, was a bit on the saltier side. They offer a side of yum yum sauce and ginger sauce as well to pair with your entree. All entrees also come with a choice of chicken livers, sauteed mushrooms, or two pieces of shrimp. The ribeye steak had great marbling, so even a plus on the quality of protein. In terms of the service, the servers did not seem attentive. In my party of 5, most of our glasses of water needed a refill, and they passed by many times without noticing. Other than that, I think it was a great experience!

From the moment we walked in, the service staff stuck out with the level of attention and care they presented us with. They were very kind and accommodating throughout our visit. The decor was beautiful with booth and table style seating. The menu itself was organized very straightforward with appetizers and the different types of noodle offerings in an easy-to-read way. Most importantly, the food was great. Everything was really well balanced with a great depth of flavor. The noodles had a good bite/chew to them. My only nitpick was that the chashu was a bit tougher than I typically like, but it wasn't that big of a deal. It was my first time trying an arubasoba style noodle dish and I tried one of their local flavors in the old bay eki. It was very bright/fresh and had great pops of cajun flavor from the Old Bay. Very well done. The chicken karaage seemed like a great deal for $8 and it was also done very well. Very juicy and tender pieces of chicken with a great fry to them. A very good experience through and through and would love to visit again soon.

I reviewed the menu in advance and already had my mind set on the Sukiyaki Don -- a rice bowl with marinated beef, onions, and scallions. When I arrived, I initially planned to place my order at the kiosk for carryout. However, a staff member promptly acknowledged me, so I opted to order directly with her instead. My food was ready in record time--less than five minutes later, I was on my way. At first glance, the container seemed quite small, but once I plated the contents, the portion felt more substantial than expected. The beef was flavorful, tender, and nicely fatty--just how I prefer it. That said, the ratio of meat to rice was a bit unbalanced, with significantly more rice than beef. As a result, I found myself wishing for more sauce to better complement the rice and ended up adding soy sauce. Overall, the service was quick and friendly, and the entree was enjoyable. A slightly more generous portion of beef and/or sauce would have elevated the dish further.
