After watching a show on TV about raising ducks for Peking Duck, I was craving some Chinese food. (Kinda twisted I know, but something about cute, little, yellow fuzzy ducklings pipping and hatching made me want some egg rolls made with duck sauce.) My trusty Yelp app showed me the way to Hong Kong Restaurant. They don't have a website and I couldn't find a menu online so I headed over to the Arnold Station shopping plaza to place my order. We are regular customers, generally carry-out, but occasionally dine-in. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is always welcoming. We took my parents there once and now whenever they come to visit they stop and bring dinner from China Garden. One of the things we like about the food is that it does not seem as oily as Chinese food sometimes is. It is consistantly good, with generous portions and reasonable prices. read more

My wife called and was put on hold while a woman who identified herself as the wife of the owner told her she did not want her to ever come back and did not want to service her. My wife was shocked as was I since we were only three or four minutes away we drove there. My wife went in and the wife wife of the owner as she stated, began yelling at her in front of other customers and saying she is no longer welcome. She cannot have Service there. She cannot order anything.. I was shocked. The wife brought the owner her husband out from the kitchen and my wife tried to explain what happened with the truck and inability to get there and offered to pay for the dinner for the previous night unfortunately she was treated with hostility, anger, and a reluctance to listen. The owner complained how he went out of his way and now he was out money and told her to leave.. It was an incredibly upsetting experience, management was extremely unprofessional, berating my wife and I in front of other customers and for no reason at all, denied a service, knowing that my wife is handicapped and has food allergies.
