I'm a fan of their sushi and sashimi, it's a medium-sized restaurant with decent service. My family and I had a great time yesterday and would come back again. read more

Every time I've visited Nano, the employees have been incredibly polite and helpful. The food is always good and comes quickly, whether I'm doing dine in or take out. Prices are quite reasonable for the food you get, which is reliably good quality and flavorful. It's very peaceful most of the time, despite its convenient location. It's not out-of-this world as far as the food goes, but the consistency and quality make it a five star for me! read more

The sushi..."Pink Lady" not the best I've had but this is really good and well worth the visit. Simply put if you come here stick with the sushi's the entree dishes are "just okay" and nothing to write home about. The service was decent and kind of slow but once you get your order in expect your food to come fast. Overall things a small place with the most popular and frequent visitors being midshipmen..no surprise there. So here is what you're waiting for. This is a three star rating and for those coming back is usually a I'll pass, but in this case I'd come back again and again for the sushi on a slow day. Stay away from the entrees. And enjoy a drink or two. You won't be disappointed as long as you...you guessed it...stick with the sushi. read more

I would highly recommend anybody visiting Annapolis to eat at Nano. It was so delicious and honestly very affordable. Surprisingly, it was not busy so the service was quick and quiet ambiance. I guess you can call it a hidden gem. I really don't know why it's not more popular. I was visiting my family Annapolis June 21 to June 23, and my husband and I went to Nano twice that weekend! And I will definitely be eating at Nano whenever I'm in Annapolis Loved the salmon sushi (nigiri) and yellowtail. All of the sushi was fresh, thick slices, and overall high quality. read more

I went out for ice cream across the street then realized I was hungrier than I thought. So, I walked across the street to try Nano Asian Dining. Great choice. The server was hospitable, friendly, & knew the menu well. The restaurant was cute and clean. I tried 3 rolls. The rock'n roll was shrimp tempura, cucumber, eel, & avocado topped with eel sauce. It was my favorite of the three. The crunch shrimp tempura is a standard & my go to. I haven't enjoyed the Philadelphia roll at other establishments but this one was pretty good. It's the right ratio of salmon to cream cheese & they didn't mix the 2 ingredients together. Three tasty rolls was just enough to cure my hunger pains without feeling stuffed. Not to mention, the items were reasonably priced. The menu is pretty expansive so I'll have to come back & try more items. read more

Great place to eat! Clean, cute, modern, and great service. I don't know her name, but she was short, dressed in all black, and had really long black hair and recommended us a chiropractor - which went really well by the way. We had a nice lunch. Our usual Joss' was closed so we decided let's give this a try. I will admit the menu was nice and full of all sorts of goodies. I really wanted to try the drunken noodles based on a recommendation, but we were there for sushi today, maybe I will get the noodles as take out this weekend! As for our sushi, we got some basic rolls and they were okay. I will say that I prefer Joss', but this was a great second option for downtown. We also enjoyed a tempura veggie app that was delicious. The sushi we got was spicy tuna, tiger roll, and a bigger roll with salmon and avocado that was fantastic. The Tiger Roll was a bit boring, so if you like the simplicity of crab and cooked shrimp no sauces, then this is for you! But I enjoyed the salmon avocado pieces very much. The spicy tuna... well this was the first time I tried it... not my thing, so I can't judge it really. Looks like they do a lot of take out too - so please enjoy! read more

One of my favorite favorite lunch time stops! Good for call in, delivery or dine in. I was a frequent customer before their remodeling (done I believe December 2021, maybe early 2022.. they were closed for some time), and as a remodeled shopper, I'm still happily dining here. read more

Went here Sunday after going to the pool with my toddler and cousin. We were advised it was no wait. Table needed to be buss than we could sit. Took our server who was also the hostess about 15 minutes to come take our drink order. They were limited staff. It was him and another gentleman serving. I placed an order for a whiskey sour, hot sexy mama roll, side of lo mein for my toddler along with the avocado and cucumber roll. My cousin ordered Singapore rice noodles. Food came out fast. Proportion size generous for the cost. Pricing was affordable. I never got my whiskey sour but I would definitely return. read more

This was my first time getting food from here despite going to school in Annapolis for almost three years. I was pleasantly surprised by the huge serving for the nano fried rice and was very satisfied with how delicious it was. My server's name was Jackie and she was great in checking up on me every once in a while. I didn't eat much of my food because I didn't have much of an appetite but every bite I did eat was delicious. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Nano Asian Dining - a plate of sushi and a plate of avocado - Sushi Bars Near Me - Annapolis, Maryland

I picked up a carry out order from Nano the other day and it was my first time trying it. The food was ready very quickly - it took only about 10 minutes from when I called. Excellent service. I got the vegetarian sushi combo and it was a fantastic deal. Very filling at a low price. The tofu rice pouches were incredible - I wish there were more of them in the combo because I could have eaten a million of them. The cucumber avocado roll was excellent as well. The yam roll was OK - it felt a bit soggy and lacked the crunch I enjoy with tempura fried things usually. Regardless, it was a great deal and a nice quick bite. Definitely recommend! read more

I went here for lunch with my girlfriends during my bachelorette celebration weekend. The ambiance is modern and relaxed. I wish I took a picture of the place bc it's nothing like what it used to be apparently. (They changed management in the most recent years) I digress! THE SUSHI WAS BOMB!!! My friend ordered an assortment of things for us. Some of my favorites were the Annapolitan and the Spider roll. Sometimes when you go to sushi places the other dishes are not worth trying but it's not the case for Nano! The other dishes we got to try were ALLLL SO GOOD! The Nano's Noodles is a must have and the Dry Fried Eggplant was perfectly seasoned!!! They're both appetizers technically, but are great sharing portions! All of us thought the place was a gem. The best sushi in Annapolis! We are definitely coming back for drinks (they have a bar) and to try more food. Lovely spot, amazing food, I can't say enough!! read more

I ordered sushi delivery with a California roll, a salmon avocado roll, yellowtail sushi and fatty salmon sushi. The salmon in the nigiri sushi and the roll were both very tough and not at all what anyone wants. I expect nigiri to be some of the best cuts of the fish and I certainly got some of the worst. Also salmon belly should always be soft and tender and the fact that it wasn't makes me think it wasn't salmon belly at all but likely salmon that was cut near the tail. It was tough as nails and none of it seemed very fresh. I will definitely not be back as there are other/better places in town. read more

Fresh fish right out of off the Docks! Just yolking for the kitchen here!! There are boiled egg pieces in some sushi though. Amazingly fresh raw one of a kind fish on display skillfully made. No one thinks about nutrition, which brings me back in time to what my Man, Bruce Lee ( Lee Jun Fan ) from San Francisco Bay area used to say relentingly to me about my extreme hesitancy to try anything I thought should be in a frying pan. He would just say that I get more for eating it without losing the nutrients in it when cooking. So by all means, use how delightfully fresh and colorfully inviting freshly made sushi is here!! Nano Asian Dining - Sushi Bar - Sushi Bars Near Me - Annapolis, Maryland

This is my go-to sushi spot. Their servings are larger than the other two sushi joints in the same area for the same price. My all time favorite sushi from them is the Valentine's roll. Wrapped with rice and then salmon, these pink sushi pieces are then shaped into hearts before being drizzled with spicy mayo. Great sushi place. Ordering delivery from here is a little difficult due to the background noise on the other side of their phone. read more

i placed a pick order on july 8, 2024, 1. General Tso 2. Pad Thai 3. Wasabi Shumai 4. Seaweed salad it was not a good experience. 1. Seaweed salad- tasted as if was "past its due date" smell was off as well I DO NOT recommend read more

Good sushi and chicken katsu with vegetables is bang on!!!! Very clean and reasonably priced restaurant.

The food here bussin. They have this eggplant dish that was vegan and so gewd. They put the sauce in a soup cup, served with deepfried eggplant, and white rice (I got takeout). The other tofu dish was okay nothing special. read more

Eh. The sushi I ordered was just not that good. I came here for dinner on a Saturday night and was craving sushi. We were seated at a window seat, which was nice. I got the volcano roll, eel roll and crunchy spicy tuna roll. The rolls came out within 10 minutes. Sadly, the fish did not taste very fresh, and neither did the rice. The tuna had a weird texture. Also, the place seemed a bit run down, especially walking to the bathroom. It just was not a good experience. Maybe the other food options are better but wont be back for sushi. read more

My favorite restaurant in downtown Annapolis. Best fried rice I've ever had, and everything else that I've tried has been top notch as well. Wait times are nonexistent - everything is always out in a timely manner and piping hot. The owners are so sweet, and wait staff always checks in to make sure you're happy. Nano Asian Dining - Chicken Fried Rice & Miso Soup - Sushi Bars Near Me - Annapolis, Maryland

Ordered takeout from here and it was delicious! My fiancé and I tried the salmon don, wasabi shumai, and dumplings. All were super tasty - salmon was fresh and almost buttery in the best way possible. The appetizers were tasty as well. You get a good amount of tasty food for the price. The napkins are also adorable - they've got the restaurant info on them and these adorable flowers! We will definitely be coming back for more! read more

Manager and server were both extremely rude when I tried to order alcohol. I'm 24, however, my Texas ID is vertical and doesn't expire for another year. Joss was closed and as I was sitting there reading Nano's menu, I sure did miss my go-to items at Joss. But Nano was open so I gave them a shot. I've eaten here several times and wasn't all that impressed but when you're hungry for sushi at an odd time of the day, this is where I go when I'm downtown! The ambiance is nice and the service is decent. I think they could focus a little more on the quality of the ingredients they use. I'm willing to pay a higher price. SPICY AHI AND AVOCADO. It had an orange mayo sauce over everything that wasn't my fav. I'd rather taste the food rather than the sauce. The pile of spicy ahi was generous! It's a ton to share but it had some gritty bites to it- the quality of the tuna wasn't anywhere near top shelf. I ate it with a bowl of rice and couldn't finish it all. HOMEMADE EGGPLANT entree. They said it was lightly battered but I peeled a lot of the batter off and it didn't have all that much flavor. WASABI SHUMAI. Good flavor but the pork filling was a little gritty like their ahi. CALIFORNIA ROLL. Too much cucumber made it bland and watery. Maybe a little sushi vinegar in the rice would also be good? read more

This spot is by far my favorite sushi place in Annapolis! We originally decided to go to Joss but left after we just weren't feeling the vibe there. Solid move. I've eaten at both spots in the past but Nano's always seems to win me over. From the minute we walked into Nano the vibe was better. We were seated at a nice booth and we wasted no time in ordered some edamame and a couple of Kirin Lights. The edamame here is very good. Light and not bombarded with too much salt. For dinner we ordered six rolls to share between the two of us. The rolls were ready within minutes it seemed. The sushi chef even threw in an extra roll on the house for us to try. My personal favorites are the Dynamite roll and the Volcano roll but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a bad roll here. The staff here is awesome! Very authentic, attentive, friendly and very quick with service. The restaurant overall is clean but the men's room could use some more room. Maybe move the giant shop vac stored there lol Either way this is an awesome spot for sushi and I highly recommend trying them. read more

Nice. Nothing spectacular. Sushi is over priced in my opinion about $2 more on everything. The pad thai is really sweet but they can make it spicey upon requests. 3.5***/* I showed for a late dinner after doing some work in downtown Annapolis. I have always had good service and average to above average Sushi. The restaurant is in located in the center of Main Street so it is convenient. You can park on the street or better yet in the parking garage and it is a short walk to Nano. Kevin the owner was in tonight and we had a pleasant exchange as usual. I find their rolls to be generous portions and somewhat unique. This is not the best sushi dining you will experience but it is good. I had two rolls and a couple beers for $30.00 with tip. read more

Great food. My go to place every time when I am craving sushi. Service is also great, the staffs are very friendly and nice.

3.5 stars Valentine's Day Dinner. We sat in the back of the dining room - shoes off. I had the Spicy Fish Salad which was better than average but a little on the small side for $11. Chicken Lettuce Wraps were good and a decent sized portion for $10. The Shrimp Tempura roll was $8 and was very good as well. The Volcano Chicken $13 was a Kung Pao wanna-be that actually turned out to be quite good. The service was okay and the atmosphere about average as well. I would come back and give it another try. read more
