On our last visit, we shared the Panang curry, steamed mussels, and papaya salad. Everything was good, and the food came out quickly. The green curry is amazing! I've had both shrimp and chicken and they are excellent! The only thing I wish they did differently was the mango sticky rice. I don't like how it sits in a pool of coconut milk. It would be better if it was just drizzled over. I'm also not a fan of the crunchy flakes they put on. read more

Have tried take out here twice while visiting Annapolis and was thoroughly impressed on both occasions. Crab fried rice was a hit for the starving mid. I usually get green curry at Thai restaurants and the vegetables in the dish were cooked perfectly (not too soggy and had a little bit of snap still). The drunken noodles were also delicious. One of the best Panang curries I have had in years. Really good food overall. My wife ordered Khoa Soi, which was superb. For appetizer, crispy chive cake was a better choice than spring rolls. I went to one of my continued favorite Thai restaurants in historic Annapolis for dinner Last night. It was excellent in all areas, food quality, service and ambience. My Server Chase was attentive and very professional. I had the wonton soup and the traditional Pad Thai and all of my food was excellent quality. The sauce is gloppy and tonight I asked for cashews and the cashew chicken and there's three of them. I was trying to find the positives extremely disappointed will never order again. We've been coming to Lemongrass, Lemongrass Too, Lemongrass Also (jk) for a long time. Generally speaking, we love the food, atmosphere, and drinks but it can be hard to get a table at times. Other times, you can sit anywhere you'd like. It definitely gets busier on the weekends so plan ahead and arrive early if you'd like to enjoy the experience. I'm a fan of traditional Thai food and happy to try new things so Lemongrass hits the sweet (and spicy) spot for me! The Pad Thai is good, but the Thai rice lacked flavor the last time we ordered it. We've had fantastic chicken satay and at other times it's been really dry. I've never had a curry dish that didn't completely satisfy and the portions are typically large enough to enjoy two meals from one plate, so take some home and enjoy it later. The Thai tea is delicious and worth a try. It won't overwhelm you with sugar and is full of flavor. Ultimately, if it weren't for the challenge of getting a table and the occasional misstep on dishes being dry or lacking flavor, we'd give this place five stars. We'll keep trying! read more

I ordered takeout for dinner at Lemongrass and boy did I choose wisely! Crab Rangoons appetizer was a little better then usual but in line with the typical offering of this dish. My entrée, Gang Puk, was the real standout of the meal. It was a vegetarian and spicy curry which I added fried tofu too. It comes with tofu but the menu didn't say if the tofu is soft or fried, and I really wanted it fried, so I did it as an add in ingredient. Tonight was the first time I have ordered foid for delivery from this original Lemongrass on West Street. I was pleasantly surprised that the order made it to me in only about 45 minutes. I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai and Chicken Satay. So that was only one entree and one appetizer, which my husband and I shared. (The Shrimp Pad Thai was $17.95, which is a touch expensive, but it was well worth it). We both got filled up and there are a few bites left for lunch tomorrow (or for whoever gets there first as a late night snack) . Both items were very tasty and were still warm when delivered. Came here on a Saturday evening around 6:45 and plenty of room for walking in. Enormous outdoor seating area with a nice tent that keeps it cool. Attentive and fast service too. The pineapple fried rice was perfectly good but not amazing. A bit heavier than the typical fried rice I think of with Thai food. (Maybe the regular fried rice would be the way to go?) We preferred the eggplant dish, which had brighter flavors and perfectly cooked eggplant pieces. But the real star is the cocktails. Refreshing on a hot summer evening, fairly priced, and just tasty.
