I gave the worker my name Tyrita Cliette (don't know many with that name). He refused to give me my order. He asked to see my phone. I showed him my phone. I explained multiple times that I ordered and paid online and that I was not a door dash worker. After showing him my phone he still REFUSED to give me my food. So I asked for a refund yet he refused. He took my food back to the kitchen. I walked back to the kitchen and got my food. As I proceeded to walk out the restaurant he ordered his employee to lock me and my son in the restaurant. Thankfully we were able to walk out of the restaurant before he locked it. First off this location is not closed. It has gone under new ownership and is now called Pho Foodie. They just opened it in January of 2026. I went here because Google Maps is still showing it as Pho D'Lite which I really like the one in Waldorf. It is not Pho D'Lite, however. But, since I was there ready for some lunch I decided to try it. Why not? I ordered the number 1 with eye round and brisket. They don't offer much in the way of Pho soup. I also want to note I got the soup to go. The first thing I noticed were the sprouts were minimal and wet. Do not like wet "soggy" sprouts. Of course the first thing I tasted was the broth. Meh. The eye round was tough. Brisket was acceptable. Fair amount of noodles. But the longer the eye round sat in the broth the tougher it became. My advice to this new establishment is you need to make sure everything is on point, especially since your new. Too much competition out there now to be serving food that is subpar. read more

This guy is so helpful and very efficient at what he does. Every visit that we make, he remembers how my daughter doesn't like ice in her water. They have deviated from the franchise name/recipes & the food is far from previous deliciousness. The ambiance & service may still have been good & addition of babnmi is a plus, but Pho leaves lots to desire, but use of short-cuts lacks the authentic flavor. Mediocre at best. The customer service is good and that is my only reason to visit for a second time. The food is average compared to other Pho or Vietnamese restaurants. There is one item that is above par that I have tried and that is the garlic butter wings. Besides that the food isn't as advertised. The chicken over rice has flavor but lacks the substance of a true chicken over rice. On top of that the chicken is out on the side which takes away from the extra flavor that the rice would usually get. The Pad Thai is lack luster, and the Pho would be a C+ grade. We decided to give this place a try again for lunch during the week. The interior is much brighter than before. I tried the bun bowl with grilled pork and spring roll. The nuac mam sauce was perfect and plentiful this time. The pork is very lean, no fat, so it was a little dry, the sauce took care of that. My partner had the P4 Pho Creation (Create Your Own Bowl), he chose well done flank and eye round. While very flavorful the bowl was too large for him to finish. It was good with the lime juice, jalapenos and basil. I needed more kick so I added sriracha. The chicken was beyond bland. The broth didn't do anything for the chicken. Worst experience ever. My husband and I were looking to grab some dinner on a Friday night and decided to check out this spot. We called in our order in advance: shrimp summer rolls, fried egg rolls, chicken pad Thai, and chicken vermicelli bowl. I let the guy taking my order that I had a 20% off coupon and he said no problem. Great! We drive over to pick up our order and it's ready when we get there. I pull up my discount on my phone (which comes up when you "check in" to the restaurant on the Yelp app). I was told that despite what I was told on the phone that they can't use my discount because they are now under new management and they don't use yelp. Ummmm ok. Who's here for the major come-up Gorgeous Prince George's County is making in the food department...this girl, that's who! Pho D' Lite is another much needed addition to the county. If you haven't tried Pho, it should be high on your list of priorities to try. It's been described to me as the Vietnamese version of the American chicken noodle soup. I must agree. I find myself getting it when I don't feel well or when I need something to warm me up. Located in a space that's been turned into several restaurants within recent years, hopefully this one will actually stick around! Pho D' Lite is rather spacious on the inside and is very open and inviting. I called in my order and it was prepared in a Jumping, Jack, Flash! (Ha! Who remembers that movie?) Service was very friendly and helpful. Unlike other Pho restaurants I've been too, the inside of the restaurant is somewhere I would actually like to dine-in. Very welcoming and clean. I ordered the chicken Pho and spring rolls and the Pho was delicious! The broth had a wonderful flavor and the spring rolls were nice and crunchy, like I like them. I have no complaints about my experience here. The price point of the food is reasonable and it's a welcomed addition to the area. The meat in the Pho D'Lite soup special was superb, but the main problem was that the broth seems to be watered down. It had very little flavor and was oily. Not sure what is going on with that. New Management has this place going downhill FAST. Where the hell is the OWNER? This USED TO BE the best place for pho in the area. I would drive down from Crofton and get it every week or so. This was actually me and my co-coworkers favorite lunch place at one time. Our office is twenty minutes away but we would take the drive to pick up our order that we would call in. It literally was the best pho I had . It was times I would be home and would drive forty minutes to get it if the urge was stronger enough. As of recent this has changed and today was probably our last visit unfortunately. Ok, so the last few times we placed phone orders, we have had a problem with every order. After driving twenty minutes back to the office.... we would have very little condiment sauces ( one drop of sauce for maybe four orders) , missing jalapeños, half the portion of everything that we would normally get, bland broth, or produce that wasn't fresh all together. Even still we would kinda write it off to them having an off day . But now every visit is off . And a forty minute drive isn't worth the not so great experience. Today, we ordered two orders of chicken pho and one veggie pho. I made sure that I asked for extra sauce since we know they don't even fill the containers up and asked that the portions be complete. When I got there, our food was ready and I noticed the extra sauce and even saw the portions of chicken and garnishes were ok so I left. Once I drove twenty minutes back to the office, we pull the broths out and notice one chicken broth has things floating in it and the top is cut open ( so big in might as well not have a top) The others were fine. But we couldn't even use the third broth so we called back and told them about how we found the broth. And we told them that a drive back now would be impossible after already spending twenty minutes going and twenty coming ( we are at work) and would have to come back another day for the third order . The guy answering said he could replace the broth but what good would that do if we can't come today ? He said he would have to wait and speak with the manager about whether or not we could receive another order on a later date . He also kept saying that they never had that problem and I told him that after all the times of ordering , we never had that problem either. We tried to support this place as long as we could but it doesn't seem like they are too worried about satisfied customers. Even after expressing disappointment in the past , the same disappointment keeps happening . Pho for me is one of those things where when you find a place you really like. It automatically becomes your go to. Everyone doesn't make it the same, and some variations just aren't for me. Pho D'Lite just wasn't for me. When it came down to it, everything about the restaurant was on point. Including the staff and the decor, but I just wasnt a fan of the taste of the Pho. Something was off about the broth for starters. It had almost a ramen noodle broth vibe. I also wasn't a fan of the portion. Most places offer 2 sizes, but they offer 1 and a bunch of ala carte type upgrades. However there were people constantly coming in for pick ups while we dined in, and they don't seem to be hurting for business. The summer rolls were actually really good. I think just for my taste I'd rather go elsewhere. We actually came to try this location because they closed later then the spots closer to my home. For the sake of their business, it would be in their best interest to clean the dining area from top to bottom. This was my first time ordering from them so I didn't have any prior knowledge about the interior. The carpet needs a SOLID vacuum and cleaning or it needs to be replaced. There were spider webs on both ends of the windows and you can see the dust on fixtures overhead and everywhere else.The wall fixtures need replacing as well. They're outdated. We ordered carryout via Grubhub. When my husband went inside to pick it up, they thought it was a delivery order. Although I put his name for the pickup on Grubhub, they didn't have his name on it. He told them the order was 2 orders of chicken pho & 2 orders of summer rolls with extra peanut sauce. The food was already packaged & ready on the countertop. The Pho broth is very clear and not very flavorful. The side items (onions, basil, chicken, noodles, jalepeno, hoisin sauce, hot sauce, lime, and bean sprouts were packed nicely & were fresh. The white meat chicken was flavorless, very, very dry & chewy. I ended up picking it out of the soup & gave it to my dogs. They enjoyed it. We ordered two orders of fresh Summer Rolls (2 rolls per order). They were fresh. They had very thin slices of small shrimp cut in 1/2 or even in 3rds. In both orders the rice paper wrap had opened up on each roll & all the contents (shredded lettuce & noodles) had spilled out. The shrimp stuck to the rice paper. We ended up eating it with a fork (discarding the rice paper) and it was more like a salad. We also asked for extra peanut sauce & it was not in the bag. It was not a good value for the money. We spent about $35.00 for 2 bowls of soup & 2 orders of summer rolls. It probably cost about $5 total for all of the ingredients in the 2 orders I'm going to make it at home next time. We prefer Pho Lulu (formerly Pho Saigon54) in the shopping center near Shoppers & Marlo Furniture on Contee Road in Laurel. We drove out there today, but found out they were closed until May 11th. It is unfortunate that ordering to go yesterday ruined it all. I ordered Pho Chicken, and the image below is what they gave me.. pretty much scraps. I called and they told me to come back the next day since they were closing and just state that I spoke to Tatiana. I am now here and they are telling me that she will give me a call.
