A coworker recommended this place to me and I am so glad I stopped by for lunch. I ordered the healthy spring rolls, chicken tom kha soup, and the chicken ka-pow fried rice. Everything was delicious and there was plenty leftover to take home. The service was amazing and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. There was plenty of seating and the restaurant was very nice. I am looking forward to visiting again and trying more things on the menu.

We went here today for lunch with my bff. It was huge and plenty of spaces and lovely design. The servers weres very nice. The food was okay, i guess my standards are a bit elevated as i have eaten a lot of thai food in my life and mostly in Rockville and Silver Spring area. I ordered the Chinese broccoli one but i would prefer the pork to be pork belly to add more depth to it but to each their own.

This is my favorite place to eat a delicious Thai food and obviously the dessert was delicious as well. Next time I'll try something new.

I use to visit this place pretty often for happy hour but it had been YEARS since I've been back. Decided to drop in one evening for happy hour for old time sake because I was in the area. I'm pretty simple and to the point when I come here and my order never changes. What I Ordered: Drink: White Peach Martini- Good and strong, my favorite drink Food: Bangkok Wings- This used to be my favorite happy hour food menu item. Unfortunately, the quality has decreased in my option. They were mostly breading. The flavor wasn't the same either. Service: Fine, I never have a problem with the customer service here. Ambiance: Nice, dim, slightly romantic, very chill. Its not loud and allows for you to enjoy your meal without having to yell to talk. Overall, If I do decide to come back I'll probably just order drinks or maybe has to consider other food options to try.

Nice big space with modern decor.

Upscale Thai restaurant located in Laurel. Food comes out pretty quickly after ordering. Music is a little loud, but plays American pop music. Service was good, but took a legible to get my friend her coke which didn't come out until med way through our meal after reminding the waitress. But I think she was the only waitress working on a Monday night so it is understood. I had the lamb of 2 seasons. It was good. Lamb was not gamey for me. Had lamb prepared in 2 different sauces separated by broccoli. The wife had the beef with ginger sauce. It was okay. The beef was a little chewy because of the way it was cut and the sauce needed a thicker consistency. We also had the fried bronzino with a side of chili sauce which my wife and her friend enjoyed.

Big fan of Thai at Laurel!! Located in laurel mall, I would highly recommend this spot for a quick dinner! It's quite similar to dho khao thai eatery located in Columbia, a slightly smaller menu but nearly no wait every time we come and eat here. I think they may be sister restaurant, as despite the smaller menu, they serve most of the exact same dishes. There is quite a lot of seating with a few long tables for larger parties. They also spend time decorating the indoors and everytime I go I'm shocked how empty it is compared to dho khao despite being nearly the exact same restaurant. I have had quite a lot of meals here and every time my absolute favorite is the chef special mango tilapia. It is absolutely delightful, fried tilapia covered with this delightful mango sauce served alongside a few veggies and rice. Other favorites of mine include the drunken noodles with incredibly cooked tofu and the honey shrimp (although this is a bit expensive). My parents also are a big fan of the curries. The Thai puff appetizer is also a favorite of ours. Of note the dessert and specials menu is much smaller than that of dho khaos so you lose some variety coming here, but for your basic Thai dishes, it's prepped the exact same with none of the wait and crowds. Highly recommend Thai at Laurel and the whole family of restaurants! A huge favorite among my family. And try the mango tilapia, one of the best Thai dishes I have ever had. On a side note they also have a bowl of mints at the exit for you to finish off your meal with :)

Thai food NEVER misses and Thai at Laurel is definitely one of my favorites. My mom and I stopped in for lunch. The interior is beautiful, they have a pink phone book with cherry blossoms and it's perfect for photos along with a little waterfall in the center of the restaurant. It's a very cozy atmosphere. Our waitress, Sugar, was the sweetest, she was so bubbly and gave us her recommendations. We took her advice and ordered the healthy rolls and they were THE BEST ROLLS EVER!!! Seriously order them!! Drinks: Love Youzu -- I always get this drink! Pomegranate lemonade Ruby Lychee frozen daiquiri Appetizers: Curry Puffs Healthy Rolls Chicken Satay Tom Yum Soup Entrees: Red curry with chicken Eggplant with pork Crab fried rice Basil fried rice Drunk noodles Desert: Crème brûlée Parking is available in the parking lot.

I can't count how many times I've come to this restaurant and my meal is always on point. I love the pineapple fried rice, but I like to switch it up occasionally to try something new. I was very satisfied with my choice this time around. I ordered the blue Hawaiian as my cocktail and a curried Roti chicken dish, which was served with a side of blue butterfly pea flower rice. I was a bit skeptical about the blue rice, but the server stated that the pea flower creates the blue hue of the rice. But doesn't change the flavor. Another hit with this meal! The curry dish paired well with the rice and roti. Very aromatic and flavorful. I ordered medium level spicy to be on the safe side and it was perfect. The blue Hawaï was as expected. Delicious. I always look forward to coming back to Thai at Laurel. If you haven't tried it yet, please do.

Thai at Laurel is always a good choice for reliable thai food. My go to is Ka-Pow Fried Rice. This spicy fried rice is absolutely delicious and savoury with quite the hot punch! The Pineapple Fried Rice was nice & of course sweet but good too but Ka-Pow will still forever be my fav.

Thai at Laurel impressed me! I love Thai food, so it was a place that came highly recommended by friends that lived nearby. The interiors are nice, and I love that they decorate based on the upcoming holiday. I came in for dinner on a week night and it seemed pretty slow because there weren't many people dining in. Service was quick which I was happy about. I ordered the drunken noodles with beef, but forgot to ask to make it spicy. It came out mild, still good, but would've enjoyed it more if it had a kick. In hindsight, I wish they asked about spice level but it's ok. The mango sticky rice dessert was good. The reason for 4 stars was because my water cup was still dirty when I got it. It had lipstick stains from previous use on it. I didn't say anything about it because I had Thai tea and didn't have the water. Aside from the dirty cup, everything else was great.

A great time with my friends for dinner was had! The restaurant was not busy at all Sunday and we had a fun time. It was very quiet and our food came out quickly. No complaints at all.

I came here for an early dinner while running errands and chose to sit at the bar. The place was quite empty, and I was attended to immediately. However, I felt there might be some cultural differences in service; no one checked on me during my meal, which felt a bit unfriendly. I ordered a non-alcoholic beverage and the pork pad Thai. The food was decent, but the lack of follow-up from staff impacted my experience. Overall, it was an okay visit.

The place is really chill like this, and they played music off and on. I have never had Afghan cuisine before, but I saw a few similarities to others, like samosas and kabobs. My friend and I decided to get new appetizers. Mantu - it's only one letter off from mandu, but it's the same concept! Dumplings... but they were filed with beef and onion, and were absolutely delicious! Boranee Baudnjan - a FANTASTIC eggplant dish, and was quite honestly my highlight of the evening. They even had mango lassi, but I decided to stick to water. For my main entree, I got the lamb kabob. It was drier and chewier than I typically like mine, but it was good with the rice and sauce. We also got naan with a couple things, and well... at other spots I'm used to it being soft, but this place makes theirs crispy. I want to come back because they were out of a couple things I wanted to try, like bolani and ferni.

Unlike Stewart and Hol, my wife's and my expectations going to Lulu's Gourmet on 13600 Baltimore Ave. in Laurel, Maryland were the same. And those expectations were high, with both of us being fans of pho and both of us having been frequent patrons of the Pho Saigon 54 restaurant that previously occupied Lulu's Gourmet's location. Lulu's servings for the pho, even for takeout orders, are gargantuan, the same size as the barrage of snowballs Stewart playfully launches at Hol before he realizes that she is not enjoying Earth's Christmas holiday season as much as he does. While a tad salty, Lulu's pho tastes great so long as one orders extra noodles to dilute the saltiness. Upon both visits, my wife was disappointed to learn that Lulu's Gourmet did not have any of the Hong Kong Waffles available to purchase that they prominently advertise. On our second visit, she was even more disappointed to not get the strawberry banana cream trang mieng that I attempted to order. I perhaps made a mistake in not getting a receipt to know if we were charged for the dessert and another mistake in showing the manager what we wanted to order on my phone rather than reading our takeout order out loud. Being an optimist like Stewart, I would give Lulu's Gourmet 3.5 stars if that were possible; but, for the purpose of current records, it will have to be a 3.

The service was nice in helping me decide on what I wanted to order and to provide recommendations. Since the restaurant was near empty, we were able to order pretty fast.
