If you have a need for Pho, it does the job. Overall, the food was okay. The pho broth was good but the noodles I was not a fan of. The fried shrimp rolls were good but tasted a little dirty if that makes sense. They were cheap and it wasn't premium shrimp. Overall, not bad for a lunch. read more

My husband and I love this spot! It's super close to my parent's house so we come here a lot. We always get the pork and shrimp spring rolls. It's fresh, delicious, and the sauce is by far my favorite! I will sometimes get the fried egg rolls which are also very flavorful and juicy! I am a really harsh pho critic because being full Vietnamese, my momma and sister makes the best pho! I ordered the combination special pho with all the varieties of meats. I did enjoy the cuts. This place was a mediocre pho restaurant for me. The flavor was okay: not fabulous, not bad. I wished I smelled more of the star anise and pho 5 spices. The price was okay. I think I paid around 8 dollars for a small bowl, which filled me up. I appreciate that they have outdoor dining. One thing I don't like is that they let us use really thin plastic spoons, which were hard to eat from. I need something more sturdy to carry the broth. Service was okay. No one came to ask if I was doing okay. Also, I don't know who the owners were but a lot of the staff were not Vietnamese, which made me question the authenticity of the shop. Service and atmosphere is pretty good. But there is one food item i dont recommend that much, is the vermicelli. The amount of lettuce and bean sprouts is insanely overwhelming, i had to take out a bunch of them because i couldnt mix my noodles with the sauce. Even the bowl was large! And its enough veggies to fill a cup. The sauce was a little bland and i had to rely on other sauces to bring up some flavor. Other than that, the meats were meh. Beef was fine, shrimps were obviously been out for some time it was so dry and rubbery. Fish cake was a hard pass for me like biting into leather. But other than that, the other menu items are fine. While the food was tasty and fresh and the portions were plentiful, they have one big flaw that they need to address, and that is cleanliness. The other thing they need to do is wear hair-nets to avoid dropping hair into the food. When our Pho arrived, we immediately noticed a strand of hair in the bowl. When they brought us silverware, every utensil had streaks. When they brought us out serving bowls, all the bowls were greasy. When I pointed it out to them, they replaced them but didn't seem to care much and blamed it on their dishwasher. I almost should give them 2 stars for lack of hygiene, but... like they say, "the best Chinese food has C rating", maybe that applies here. I'll concede and give them 3 stars because their food tastes just good enough. If they clean up the other stuff, I'd easily give them a 4. The spring rolls were very good. The Garlic Noodles with Tiger Shrimp and Shaken Beef was yummy. The meat in Premium Pho was portioned a tad on the lesser side and the broth was barely good enough. Fantastic! Got the spring rolls and the vermicelli. Both were delicious and very fresh. Definitely opt for the "shrimp sausage" thing if you can; it was like layers of crispy filo dough with shrimp inside *chef's kiss* The ambiance is alright; it's not a place for a romantic date night but it is very clean and perfectly suitable for a quality meal at a good price. The service was very polite and attentive. We interacted with 3 workers while we were there and they were all very responsive, welcoming, and willing to explain the menu. Will be back! :) read more

So ive lived around the corner my whole life but i don't really care for Pho.Recently i started seeing ads for this places garlic noodle dishes..which i do care for...alot lol i ordered for pick up today. And the lady was very nice. When i got the food home, everything looked like the ads. And the taste was there too. Omg the frkn teas were even amazing. (Passion fruit tea and green lychee). This is my go-to pho spot! Restaurant is clean and spacious. Food is AMAZING and have a pretty good variety! Drinks are pretty good too, my favorite being Thai Tea or their Passion Fruit Tea. I ordered pork spring rolls and checked with the person on the phone that it was indeed pork. I picked up my order and drove 20 minutes back home (40 min round trip) and when I got home ready to eat, I realized the spring rolls were all shrimp. Not pork. I called them hoping to get a refund because I did not feel like driving 40 minutes round trip just to get my order fixed. They didn't even apologize. Not even once. Instead, they told me to bring the food in and they would change it for a new one. So I told them I live 20 minutes away and would prefer a refund. And they told me that if I wanted a refund, I would have to bring in the incorrect order as well as the card I paid with (which doesn't make sense because I paid with Apple Pay?). So I made the drive over again. When I got there, there was no apology, no nothing. The man who seemed like the manager just completely ignored me and the girl, who seemed like a waitress just handed me my food and took the wrong order to the back. I didn't get any kind of service, they did not refund my money whatsoever and just made me drive for over an hour to get some spring rolls. After church this past Sunday, we decided to visit Pho Crystal 3 upon a recommendation a friend posted on Facebook. Its location is slightly hidden; we drove past it twice, but we finally made located it. I ordered the Vermicelli Special #1, while my wife ordered the Grilled Pork Chop rice plate with fried egg. The Vermicelli Special went beyond my expectations. I ordered the grilled chicken, and it came with grilled shrimp and shrimp patties. The portion was greater than what I am used to. Needless to say, I could've used a forklift to scrape myself out of our booth, but I made it out with some ease. My wife enjoyed her pork chop rice plate, but she remarked that the portions didn't satisfy her appetite. Thankfully, we placed an order of pork spring rolls to go. Food was bad, I don't wanna say it's always this way but we didn't have much of a luck today with their food, we had to add a lot of lime and chili to make it flavorful and still it was tasting watering, the pho didn't have flavor at all, even the spring rolls were not it. We ordered delivery and ordered 2 sets of 4 spring rolls and another dish. We got the other dish but only 1 set of the 4 spring rolls. I called the restaurant 3 times today, a little bit spaced apart in case they were on the phone, but an automated system just says something about how the number can't receive messages. Finally got to check out this new Vietnamese restaurant and I've got to say I'm really excited to try more dishes! I ordered the grilled meat and egg roll vermicelli dish and really enjoyed it. It was a new dish for me and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend ordered the beef filet mignon which was very juicy and flavorful. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Was craving pho today; went to hit up my spot (pho king)...and to my sad surprise, it had been replaced! By this place...pho crystal #3. Decided to give it a try because I'm just not a fan of the other local pho spots (I've tried them all) and at this point, this was our only choice. Place looks exactly the same. Clean, just new booths. Different faces, very friendly. The pho is really good...not better than pho king, IMO. The broth has a lighter flavor and a stronger cinnamon-y/all spice taste. I liked the steak in this pho more than others. The egg rolls were okay...had ALOT of carrots. Thai tea was great! Not too sweet and a little bit bitter towards the end. Just how i like it! They offer the free tapioca pudding at the end of your meal too, which was also delicious! Sadly, this place has replaced what had been my go-to for almost 10 years...but will probably be back again in the future. If pho king was a 5 for me, this place falls at around a 4. Came here with my family not to long ago. We were hungry and in the mood for pho. We were in the Carson area and this was the closest one. Let me say I got the brisket pho and the meat was so tender and not over cooked it was amazing. The broth is rich and flavor and the egg rolls were fresh and hot as they should be.
