Came here again after a trip to IKEA and it was great again! It was the first time I tried any pho with chicken broth. It was good, yet definitely lighter and less bold than beef broth. I wish that there was a bit more seafood in the bowl though. The service was very friendly and fast. The ambiance is typical for a Vietnamese place. It's simple, clean and in a strip mall. It's a better choice than the chain restaurants on the other side of IKEA.

I've never had heartburn before. 2 hours later and I'm still in pain, already took Alka Seltzer and Tums. The protein portions are in the small side. It was tasty but something in the mixed vermicelli gave me a severe case of heartburn and I've eaten and love very spicy food before, this meal in particular had zero spice so not sure what is causing it.

The service was exceptional, and they were really on top of it. I don't know if it's a family or own business but if it isn't, there were way too many employees present and not enough customers. I was suspicious feeling that they have some kind of a deal with some advertising that was blasting so loudly that we couldn't hear ourselves. They have some kind of a radio station or something consistently speaking louder than their TV sets that is advertising for some stupid program and it's on a loop and so loud and obnoxious that we wanted to leave in the middle of our meal. Our Pho was not impressive. The broth was very watery and not rich. The windows were dirty, and the place did not look clean. We won't be returning.

Flavor Budz What's Good! So why am I just finding out about Pho Crystal?! (Lol) NGL, I'm from Carson, like from Carson, who has been here since I was a kid. Mind you, I drive past this restaurant literally every other day and never really noticed it, I know, shame, lol But we'll circle back to that story later, lol. My husband and I wanted something warm and confronting to eat so we came here. First impressions are lasting impressions and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We were seated promptly and was able to place our order within 10 minutes of being seated. We ordered the Brisket Pho and it was flavorful, the Brisket was tender and plentiful. The portion size was a reasonable price this was hospitable experience. If you're looking for a family friendly restaurant to eat, laugh and enjoy time with the people you care about I would recommend dinning here.

Came here randomly as I saw someone recommend it on social media. I got the surf n turf garlic noodles for take out and was impressed! I do wish it wasn't as "saucy" as it was but overall flavor was good! The price was very reasonable in comparison to other Vietnamese spots. And the gentleman gave me a refresher drink for the road! This is my favorite pho place so far in the area. The broth is really good quality and balanced. For the small size there's also a good amount of meat and noodles. Food came out fast and fresh. We also ordered the pork chop rice plate. Nuoc mam is also well made. Service was great! Also love the tapioca dessert they give at the end.

This was my first time coming to this restaurant and the service was great. The server was attentive of my guest and I. She asked us if we needed anything every so often. The ambiance was spacious and we went before dinner time so not a lot of people. I enjoyed it and the food was so delicious. We didn't know what to choose, we wanted to get everything. We started with the Crystal appetizer platter, and the shrimp puffs were our favorite. We wanted more! My guest ordered the meat with egg rice platter and I ordered the seafood combination #2 with chicken broth! So amazing helped me with my sinuses! I can't wait to come back and try the surf and turf!

Morning brunch was fantastic. Semi busy with plenty of seating available. Atmosphere was great with good choice of music. Upon entering, the server greeted and politely directed to my table. Very courteous, gave me enough time to order and especially answer any questions I may have especially about their selection of Pho choices. Let's dive right into the good stuff, but if my ways of describing things don't please you. Take a look at some of the pictures I've attached to this review. My orders are, DRINKS: 1. Lemon water 2. Vietnamese Ice Coffee (only one size) APPETIZER: 1. Shrimp Puffs (6 Pcs) Seasoned shrimp wrapped in wonton shells and fried to golden perfection and served witha side of sauce. MAIN: 1. The Traditional Combo (Pho) Sliced steak, brisket, flank, tendon and tripe in a clear, aromatic broth. 2. Side of Shrimp (3pcs) and Beef Ball (2 pcs but cut in half to look like 4) Overall experience was amazing. The broth flavor and temperature was perfect. For a large size felt medium with a large bowl and especially the side items for $4 each, I expected more. I definitely recommend this location due to their outstanding customer service experience. Very clean and sanitized. Their parking lot is spacious and easy access. They have a restroom for your convenience. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Enjoy it here or on the go. Share your experience. P.s. Ordered the Brisket Pho, spring rolls and Thai read through DD. The soup base was too salty. The meat wasn't dry but it wasn't soft like I prefer. The spring rolls have meat and personally I only want shrimp in it. The Thai tea was the only thing I really enjoyed. Overall it was okay.

Amazing and quick service! Food is always delicious and consistent and the workers are very courteous and kind. Reasonable pricing which is why I'm here every week!

We were seated right away. And as the waiter brought water with lemon, we got the menu. We ordered the seafood pho with shrimp spring rolls and garlic noodles with shrimp and beef. The spring rolls were smaller than I've seen before but the peanut sauce went so good with them. It wasn't watered down , had good flavor & consistency. The pho soup tasted really good. It did not disappoint. Noodles were soft enough to cook in the broth, there was enough seafood for the amount of broth, noodles served. The noodles, shrimp and beef had good flavor. Only noticeable thing was there was more than enough oil on the plate, which was not appealing. We enjoyed the complimentary tapioca as a small dessert before paying! The environment was ok. The service was good. I would recommend this place as quick bite to eat or to go.

Was in the mood for some pho yesterday and decided to give this place a try since it's close to my house, and honesty I kinda regret it. I ordered the beef broth with shrimp pho and it just wasn't it. Not the usual tasty pho that I've had pretty much at every other viet restaurant. Needs a lot more flavor. Solid 2 out of 5 for the soup. I also got the surf and turf with the garlic noodles. It was pretty fair, nothing crazy! Beef was pretty tender at least, shrimp was tasty. But couldn't really finish cuz it was pretty greasy. Way too much grease. So that needs some fixing. Now let's talk about service. Some lady took my order and that was the last I saw of her. Never came back to see if I needed anything, or if everything was ohkay. Nope. There were literally 4 other guys walking around bussing tables and not a single one checked on the guests(not that there were too many). And last but not least, the only time some guy came around was to give me the check, halfway through my meal that is Gonna stick to my usual pho place after this

The place is better than local Vietnamese establishments. It is on the pricier side. It can't compare to other places in Vietnam and Garden Grove, but it's a good fix. The position sizes are a hit or a miss. Sometimes it's a lot and sometimes it's not. read more

My wife and I thought the food was great. Maybe if you actually eat it there instead of having it delivered helps the taste. Everything is better fresh. Service was very friendly, and my wife thought the restaurant was clean (and she thinks most restaurants aren't clean). No hairs in our food. read more

So ive lived around the corner my whole life but i don't really care for Pho.Recently i started seeing ads for this places garlic noodle dishes..which i do care for...alot lol i ordered for pick up today. And the lady was very nice. When i got the food home, everything looked like the ads. And the taste was there too. Omg the frkn teas were even amazing. (Passion fruit tea and green lychee). Im 1000% sure ill be back. Mite even give the Pho a shot. Great Job guys! read more

I ordered pork spring rolls and checked with the person on the phone that it was indeed pork. I picked up my order and drove 20 minutes back home (40 min round trip) and when I got home ready to eat, I realized the spring rolls were all shrimp. Not pork. I called them hoping to get a refund because I did not feel like driving 40 minutes round trip just to get my order fixed. They didn't even apologize. Not even once. Instead, they told me to bring the food in and they would change it for a new one. So I told them I live 20 minutes away and would prefer a refund. And they told me that if I wanted a refund, I would have to bring in the incorrect order as well as the card I paid with (which doesn't make sense because I paid with Apple Pay?). So I made the drive over again. When I got there, there was no apology, no nothing. The man who seemed like the manager just completely ignored me and the girl, who seemed like a waitress just handed me my food and took the wrong order to the back. I didn't get any kind of service, they did not refund my money whatsoever and just made me drive for over an hour to get some spring rolls. I will never be coming back and I hope they fix their customer service. Also the meat to veggie ratio on the spring rolls are absolutely horrid. read more

Very bad service. Very little meat was given in the pho. They gave us an attitude and forced us to hurry when there was 30 minutes left until closing. The owner told his staff to kick us out and he was side eyeing us. Made us feel very uncomfortable. This will be the last time we come. read more

After church this past Sunday, we decided to visit Pho Crystal 3 upon a recommendation a friend posted on Facebook. Its location is slightly hidden; we drove past it twice, but we finally made located it. I ordered the Vermicelli Special #1, while my wife ordered the Grilled Pork Chop rice plate with fried egg. The Vermicelli Special went beyond my expectations. I ordered the grilled chicken, and it came with grilled shrimp and shrimp patties. The portion was greater than what I am used to. Needless to say, I could've used a forklift to scrape myself out of our booth, but I made it out with some ease. My wife enjoyed her pork chop rice plate, but she remarked that the portions didn't satisfy her appetite. Thankfully, we placed an order of pork spring rolls to go. The service was great and friendly, and the facility was bright and clean. Pho Crystal 3 is our place to go to after church for fine Vietnamese cuisine! read more

This is my go-to pho spot! Restaurant is clean and spacious. Food is AMAZING and have a pretty good variety! Drinks are pretty good too, my favorite being Thai Tea or their Passion Fruit Tea. If you need to order takeout and are worried the portion size is smaller.. it's NOT! Great bang for your buck. You won't regret coming here. read more

Following on Instagram. Great pictures of what you DO NOT actually get served. I ordered an expensive dish called shaken beef. Server told me it was filet steak and veg stir fry. Big helping of steam rice, filled the plate,, salad was more like a garnish. Scant amount of beef with very little filet, tough, chewy and grizzled isn't filet. Sadly disappointed for my money read more

Food was bad, I don't wanna say it's always this way but we didn't have much of a luck today with their food, we had to add a lot of lime and chili to make it flavorful and still it was tasting watering, the pho didn't have flavor at all, even the spring rolls were not it. I hope they improve their flavor but personally we will never be back read more

Food is always good for my standard at least. I always get their meatballs and steak pho and I've always ordered ever since. Service is solid. Ambiance is good unless it gets very busy. They also play worship songs which I find interesting. Been here a lot of times already. Sometimes once a week since it's really close to my place. Solid pho place in general read more

I go here often for lunch and I just love the pho here. I highly recommend trying to pho brisket as it is one of my favorites here! Definitely also try the Thai iced tea as well! I love the staff here too very friendly. Pics are of others things I've tried that are good. read more

We ordered delivery and ordered 2 sets of 4 spring rolls and another dish. We got the other dish but only 1 set of the 4 spring rolls. I called the restaurant 3 times today, a little bit spaced apart in case they were on the phone, but an automated system just says something about how the number can't receive messages. Doordash gave us a refund, but that's not helpful, as I don't have my dinner. So I don't know how else to reach them except telling them here on Yelp. read more

What a great Pho place! Me and my boyfriend were over at IKEA across the street and decided to check this place out. The ended up getting the rare beef to go, because my guy wanted the place next door. The broth was delicious, the meat was tender, and they didn't skimp on the noodles or the accompaniments. Finally got to check out this new Vietnamese restaurant and I've got to say I'm really excited to try more dishes! I ordered the grilled meat and egg roll vermicelli dish and really enjoyed it. It was a new dish for me and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend ordered the beef filet mignon which was very juicy and flavorful. Staff were very friendly and attentive. At the end of the meal they gave us a free small bowl of dessert which was good (although I don't know what it is). The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. read more

Always a great service! I love my Pho... !!! I tried to work hot lit with my sister, not bad. I found my key time to go because they are always packed. I can tell they don't use dark meat in the chicken pho and that's good. I like my white meat. read more

Was craving pho today; went to hit up my spot (pho king)...and to my sad surprise, it had been replaced! By this place...pho crystal #3. Decided to give it a try because I'm just not a fan of the other local pho spots (I've tried them all) and at this point, this was our only choice. Place looks exactly the same. Clean, just new booths. Different faces, very friendly. The pho is really good...not better than pho king, IMO. The broth has a lighter flavor and a stronger cinnamon-y/all spice taste. I liked the steak in this pho more than others. The egg rolls were okay...had ALOT of carrots. Thai tea was great! Not too sweet and a little bit bitter towards the end. Just how i like it! They offer the free tapioca pudding at the end of your meal too, which was also delicious! Sadly, this place has replaced what had been my go-to for almost 10 years...but will probably be back again in the future. If pho king was a 5 for me, this place falls at around a 4. Good pho, great service, decent prices. It's definitely worth a try. R.I.P pho king way. :( read more

Came here with my family not to long ago. We were hungry and in the mood for pho. We were in the Carson area and this was the closest one. Let me say I got the brisket pho and the meat was so tender and not over cooked it was amazing. The broth is rich and flavor and the egg rolls were fresh and hot as they should be. Highly recommend the food. Service was legit too. The server checked on us quite frequently and filled up my glass of water at least 3 times. read more

Great service, great food, big portions, great prices!!! Its my first here but trust and believe I will be back! Had the eggrolls, spring rolls, surf and turf. Everything was amazing! I dont know if i just came on a good day but regardless I will be coming back! The man who was serving all the tables was very friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in! I was pleasantly surprised. Delicious Pho and steak with rice. It was a little difficult to find, as it is facing the main road and not in the mini strip mall parking lot as is indicated on the Apple map. Prices are good and the staff is extremely friendly. Highly recommended. read more

This is my go to Vietnamese restaurant in the area. I dine in and order takeout from here pretty often! Their service is always on top of it and my order is always ready for pick up if I'm ordering out. The pho is good quality and they offer some less common Vietnamese food items, which is nice when I'm missing my grandma's home cooking. read more

This review is for the Paramount location. I got a few items: Dino rib, pork ribs, brisket, sausage, mac and cheese and corn bread. I'll start with the positives. The mac and cheese and corn bread were decent. Also they took 15 minutes to give me all the varied food I ordered which should have been my red flag to run, but I decided to live dangerously and was punished severely for it. Now on to the travesty, the meat. The theme for today was dry, old and shameless. The pork was somehow undercooked and dry. Which if you can endure the cruelty, is actually kind of impressive. The brisket resembled beef jerky. I'm including pictures of the brisket since those speak much more eloquently than I can. I love to cook and I infamously over season my dishes. But all these meats were at a whole another level. Not salty but aggressively peppery and just ham handed. The rub was flavorful but it blew out my palette instantly. Please take this to heart: less is more. In terms of meat quality? Cheap. My Dad is a butcher, I can tell. Everything being reheated did the meat quality no favors either. The seasoning was further exacerbated because the ribs, both dino and pork, were almost entirely bone. So you have a ton of seasoning on a lick of meat. It was a recipe for disaster. And price? Expensive, especially for what I received. Insulting for what I received. I'll end it here. I don't want to waste your time like this place wasted mine.
