We were greeted and seated right away. Food was excellent and was out within minutes of ordering. The service was good.

Was looking for a new crab spot as I've tried quite a few in LA. This location is small but they delivered big flavor!! When we arrived it was open seating and we were immediate greeted and had our beverage orders taken. We placed our order and noticed how cozy the place felt. Our food came out quick and food was just as ordered. Will definitely return to this location.

My go-to seafood boil spot. I love this place because it is right around the corner from me, but also because the food is great, there's not much of a wait time compared to boiling crab (that makes you wait for two hours), and the service is quick and easy. It is a smaller location compared to the others I've been to, and has a more laid back atmosphere. I usually order the combo that comes with three pounds of seafood and a few pieces of sausage, potatoes, and corn cobs. You get three flavor options (garlic butter, Cajun, and lemon pepper) but the best option is the one that allows you to mix all three. Overall this is one of my favorite seafood boil locations because the staff is helpful, the service is quick, wait times are short, and most importantly the food is great.

A very casual place, serving up good seafood, cooked to order with a variety of sides, and in several styles. Those who know me won't be surprised that I chose spicy. I went twice, getting crawfish once, and shrimp the second (head-on -- always a plus, but squeamish folks can get peeled). It's messy, but that's why tables are covered with paper, and you can get bibs and gloves (or be a barbarian, like me). Service was friendly and efficient. My only recommendation for improvement would be that solo diners can get a one pound mix of seafood, which is currently only available for something like 5 pounds and up. I would have loved to have shrimp, crawfish, mussels and clams all together. It's a minor quibble, but consider it. It's women-owned, which is nice to support.

Thank you for my food that I never received crab shack

Been waiting almost hour for my food. Two groups had came in way after us and got their food right away. Our order was not complicated to take this long. Place isn't even full it is completely empty. This unacceptable! If I could put no stars I would.

WONT go to this crab shack anymore!! We had a takeout order and we found plastic in our garlic fries. A side from this - everything was overcooked and flavor wasn't great like the other locations.. Very DISAPPOINTING!

Came here for dinner on the weekend with a big group and we were quite disappointed with the service. Food is good, nice seafood boil with good flavors. I quite prefer this over the Boiling Crab chain due to the flavors in the sauce itself, but service here is bad. The workers are talking and laughing with each other and undermine the customers most of the time. There is no professionalism here and no managers when we went. The staff did not welcome us when we walked in and just told us to pick a spot to sit at. From the bat we knew the service was going to lack, but we were hungry and it was kind of late to look for another spot. The owner needs to step in and fix the hospitality and professionalism of his staff. They all seemed like they didn't care and never checked on us not once! Safe to say will not be back to his location again! I will relay this to all my family and friends as well!!!

I had not been there in a while and I visited today, it was sooooo good. My server was Danny he was the sweetest! Great customer service. Def will be back again. Seafood was so fresh I literally want to go back typing this

If you plan on eating here, just make sure it not near closing because they will rush your order and give you the wrong item and you can't switch it out because they like to close earlier. I ordered @ 8:30pm (they close at 9:30) for a combo 2 crawfish, 1 clam and a seperate shrimp because i'm allergic to shrimp. Ended up with 3 pounds of shrimp and 1 clam. Now i can't enjoy dinner with the family because theyre kitchen was closed. Its a super small restaurant as well, so with only 3 tables sat with 2 servers, there shouldn't be a reason my order was incorrect. Decent food, with not so great service.

I stood right in front of her waiting to be served, and she completely ignored me until I spoke up. When I asked about the to-go Hurricanes, she struggled to describe what was essentially an adult Capri-Sun pouch. When I pointed toward a container to clarify, she snapped at me with attitude, "No, that's a wine glass," even though I wasn't pointing anywhere near it. To make matters worse, a single to-go drink is over $20--at that price, I'd rather just buy a whole bottle.

For a party of four, we ordered: SHRIMP LOVER COMBO, LOBSTER ROLL, SIDE OF RICE, BASKET OF SEASONED FRIES, AND MAD DOG XXX SAUCE on the side. Portion-wise, we left comfortably full and only slightly questioning our life choices. The Shrimp Lover Combo can't be modified. We chose Stinkin' Special and Spicy, which came with a plastic glove so you can dig in like a civilized gremlin. The Stinkin' Special was a generous blasts of Old Bay and enough garlic to ward off vampires. The Mad Dog sauce wasn't shock-your-soul spicy, but it definitely lingered. I was still feeling its friendly burn hours later and well into the evening. The LOBSTER ROLLL was tasty but fleeting. It's one of those dishes that makes you realize the meal is almost over right when you're hitting peak satisfaction. A little emotional damage there. We wrapped it all up with deep-fried Oreos and ice cream, which was an instant win. Sweet, cooling relief after all that heat. The flavor was kind of off -- too heavy on the garlic and the sauce was too light. I also find this place too pricey for what you get. I also ordered one side of corn, which is $3.50 for 2 pieces. I was charged $7 but only received 2 pieces of corn. Same thing happened to my coworker who ordered the same thing! Their corn was also on the harder side. $5 for small rice?!
