Came last night, Service was Great and so was our Food!I asked for an extra green sauce and the Gentleman gave it to me with no problem.

We came here as passer byes as we were traveling and were not very satisfied. We order a chicken with fries and salad. The chicken lacked seasoning, the salad had a huge amounts of cores and not fresh, and the dressing was more vinegar than anything. The fry's were a small portion and not enough to go with the chicken. Then we order the fried rice, it was decent but lacked more soy sauce. Overall I was dissatisfied with the quality of the food. We did to go as we showed up right at 8:30pm and it was too late to eat inside. Can't speak much for the people as there was few people there eating and most were to go orders.

    Happy Birthday, Luis!

I ordered exactly what my friend ordered because when the server described what it was, I knew I'd sit there with jealousy if I didn't get it myself- this was the Lomo Combination. It was such a wonderful dish. I need to come back here just for this more often. It has a bean base gravy with all my favorite ingredients such as red onion, tender beef, green onion, tomatoes and rice. I also had this bright yellow drink called Inka Soda. The whole experience made me feel like I was in another country since I don't ever eat Peruvian food. (This is such a mistake on my part.) The ladies serving us were very pleasant and attentive.

Obsessed with their soup! Perfect thing to warm you up in a cool or rainy day. The saltado was very colorful and delicious. Don't forget to snag some of the homemade green sauce. Service was smooth. The bill was a little confusing since we had a waiter but many were also checking out at the counter.

Located conveniently off the 405 at Avalon, we found this cute Peruvian restaurant. The portions are sizable and flavorful. There is even a light green sauce served on the side which I didn't think I needed, but actually made it even better. Overall the dish i ordered was wonderful. It was a bit too salty which is why I removed a star. The service was great! I know time of day plays in as it was mid-afternoon, but great nonetheless. Food was out fast. Located within a small shopping center, there was a decent amount of parking when we arrived. Prices are very affordable! They have lunch specials each day with an even better price point.

Terrible. Both of our lomo Saltados came with one tomato each and barely any onions. Rice was Al dente and definitely not cooked all the way. Will order from another location next time

1st time actually sitting down and having dinner with my wife at this location and they had great service, unlike some of the other locations that are now more of a fast food place this location u can have them take your order like a real restaurant. Our waitress was nice and super friendly and the place is nice and clean will definitely be coming back again .

I'm so glad they opened this location so I don't have to go to Gardena. The Peruvian food from this location is delicious! They keep this place clean and I love that you can dine in or take out. I'm always looking for the "A" in the window. As a friend of someone who owns a restaurant I know it's not hard to get a "A". You have to care about your customers, and this place does. Whenever I order by phone or in person they always give good customer service with a willingness to explain the menu to ensure I order exactly what I want. Now on to the food. Flavor, consistency and quality! Just delicious. I normally get Loma Saltado, Saltado de Pollo or Col de Pollo. Today we tried the Pollo Al La Brasa. The chicken was juicy, full of flavor with the skin grilled just right. The skin was crispy without being burnt or tasting burnt. If you like El Pollo Loco you will love this. It's so much better. The star of the show is that green sauce. You can put it in everything even fries. A must try.

Wow! My first time trying Peruvian food and it was amazing. The waitress helped me to order and understand the menu on my first trip, she was so helpful. The food was next level amazing - the house soup, the ceviche, and the lomo saltida. I highly recommend this restaurant!

    Saltado de Camaron.

Pedí un saltado de camarón pero estaba sin sabor y quemado aún así me lo cobraron. No lo recomiendo.

First time here and the food and service were amazing. The Lomo Salado was steaming hot and amazing and greatly pared with chicha morada!

I ordered Pina colada and it's was on the rocks as well the margaritas. Dinner was delicious as usual. Other people arrived for dinner And stayed for the dance without the bracelet which meant no cover charge for them. Cumbias were minimal and the Disco was non existent. I asked the DJ exclusively to put the disco music on, He put on 3 songs no one's ever heard of and continued with merengue and salsa. The place was SUPER hot no Air conditioner at all not even fans. It's an older crowd which is a plus plus with no drama. It's an ok place to get dinner and a night out. 80s music must be updated and don't call it cumbias because it's mostly merengue and salsa which is played on Fridays supposedly. Waitresses are tired so not very friendly and take a while to come back to the table, Will return as the food is good but will bring my own fan hopefully the blender is working and will NOT expect good Disco music.

We decided to stop by to eat at the location, we figured we would at least get a nice hot soup for a change...we quickly turned around when we saw the giant C health grade on the outside of the restaurant. We have been ordering from this location, no wonder their soup always arrives cold, their fires are under cooked and their sauce is always super watery and runny. Please do yourself a favor and make sure you read up on the health grade for this location. The fact that they haven't been re-inspected in almost a year is alarming. We will stick to the Torrance or Redondo Beach location, they never disappoint!

The order was delayed 45 min and no one even felt bad about it. Get our order and the two whole chickens look suspiciously like one chicken. And they gave us the wrong order and when I called, the guy on the phone says it's basically the same thing. Nope. Chicken is not beef. And when I mentioned the major delay (which delayed our dinner) and the wrong item, no apology. I guess years of loving the place, I approached our disappointment with a light touch but maybe that gave them the impression I was okay with their delay, and their oversight of actually messing up our order. The prices have gone up and the quality and portion size has decreased and while I am slow to share reviews where I express my disappointment, it was such a bummer from a long beloved restaurant that I felt the need to update my 8 year old 4 star review.

We tried their lomito saltado and arrocito norteno. They didn't provide any aji sauce for the lomito (surprising) but were quick to bring some when we requested it. The beef was very tender! So although definitely more expensive than more casual Peruvian spots, we could taste the quality. I also loved the arrocito norteno, as I love seafood paella, and this was basically that. The scallops and octopus were so good! This place is a bit more luxe than the other Peruvian places I've tried before, which is reflected in their price. Although we were there in the day, I could imagine this place being a cute date spot at night. Aji on 4th Streets Retro Row delivered the goods as my Wife & I had journeyed down to Peru in 2024 and from Lima, Cusco and Puno. The flavours encompassed in the dishes we'd ordered which were the Lomito Saltado and the Aji De Gallina were as authentic here as what we dined on back in 2024 which certifies them as premier purveyors of Peruvian cuisine. Drinks wise, they had Maracuya juice which is their local version of passionfruit in that region as well as Chicha Morada which is their Purple Corn beverage composed of cinnamon, cloves, fresh lime juice and when in Peru, they'll utilize pineapple husks for flavouring. It apparently is more popular in Peru than Coca-Cola and after a few sips you'll inevitably see why. Next up when I return will be the Causa trio, in the meanwhile this establishment comes heavily recommended from someone who has traveled to Peru as they hit the nail on the head with their offerings.

Seating: No-frills setup but good art to feel like you're in Peru. Good for small groups, inside seating for about 20 people. Vibes: Welcome to Gardena! Nothing flashy of mainstream LA but you can appreciate its local charm. Very much a local, no-hype spot. You walk in, smell the chicken roasting, and already know what you're getting into. It's all about the food here. FOOD / DRINKS: 2 Piece Chicken & 2 Sides (Recommend) This is the main event. Juicy, well-seasoned, and that rotisserie flavor really comes through. Pollo a la brasa is a Peruvian staple known for its roasted, marinated chicken cooked over heat for that smoky flavor --and this delivers on that expectation. Signature aji sauce - garlic, peppers, lime, cilantro. The beans were hearty and filling, and the coleslaw helped balance out the richness of the chicken. Finally the tortilla provided nice savory and comforting flavors. Nothing overly fancy, but they do the job well. Chicha Morada (Recommend) Refreshing and slightly sweet--perfect to wash everything down. It's a traditional Peruvian drink made from purple corn with fruit and spices, giving it that unique flavor. CUSTOMER SERVICE Straightforward and efficient. Gets the job done. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Awesome! Good food, reasonable prices and a pleasant experience. It's a solid spot for Peruvian rotisserie chicken. Nothing fancy, but that's the appeal-- straight to the food. If you're looking for some Peruvian flavors, this is your spot.
