Came last night, Service was Great and so was our Food!I asked for an extra green sauce and the Gentleman gave it to me with no problem.

    Happy Birthday, Luis!

I ordered exactly what my friend ordered because when the server described what it was, I knew I'd sit there with jealousy if I didn't get it myself- this was the Lomo Combination. It was such a wonderful dish. I need to come back here just for this more often. It has a bean base gravy with all my favorite ingredients such as red onion, tender beef, green onion, tomatoes and rice. I also had this bright yellow drink called Inka Soda. The whole experience made me feel like I was in another country since I don't ever eat Peruvian food. (This is such a mistake on my part.) The ladies serving us were very pleasant and attentive.

Obsessed with their soup! Perfect thing to warm you up in a cool or rainy day. The saltado was very colorful and delicious. Don't forget to snag some of the homemade green sauce. Service was smooth. The bill was a little confusing since we had a waiter but many were also checking out at the counter.

Terrible. Both of our lomo Saltados came with one tomato each and barely any onions. Rice was Al dente and definitely not cooked all the way. Will order from another location next time

Located conveniently off the 405 at Avalon, we found this cute Peruvian restaurant. The portions are sizable and flavorful. There is even a light green sauce served on the side which I didn't think I needed, but actually made it even better. Overall the dish i ordered was wonderful. It was a bit too salty which is why I removed a star. The service was great! I know time of day plays in as it was mid-afternoon, but great nonetheless. Food was out fast. Located within a small shopping center, there was a decent amount of parking when we arrived. Prices are very affordable! They have lunch specials each day with an even better price point.

Pedí un saltado de camarón pero estaba sin sabor y quemado aún así me lo cobraron. No lo recomiendo.

1st time actually sitting down and having dinner with my wife at this location and they had great service, unlike some of the other locations that are now more of a fast food place this location u can have them take your order like a real restaurant. Our waitress was nice and super friendly and the place is nice and clean will definitely be coming back again .

I'm so glad they opened this location so I don't have to go to Gardena. The Peruvian food from this location is delicious! They keep this place clean and I love that you can dine in or take out. I'm always looking for the "A" in the window. As a friend of someone who owns a restaurant I know it's not hard to get a "A". You have to care about your customers, and this place does. Whenever I order by phone or in person they always give good customer service with a willingness to explain the menu to ensure I order exactly what I want. Now on to the food. Flavor, consistency and quality! Just delicious. I normally get Loma Saltado, Saltado de Pollo or Col de Pollo. Today we tried the Pollo Al La Brasa. The chicken was juicy, full of flavor with the skin grilled just right. The skin was crispy without being burnt or tasting burnt. If you like El Pollo Loco you will love this. It's so much better. The star of the show is that green sauce. You can put it in everything even fries. A must try.

Wow! My first time trying Peruvian food and it was amazing. The waitress helped me to order and understand the menu on my first trip, she was so helpful. The food was next level amazing - the house soup, the ceviche, and the lomo saltida. I highly recommend this restaurant!

First time here and the food and service were amazing. The Lomo Salado was steaming hot and amazing and greatly pared with chicha morada!

This location may be small but it packs more flavor than the any of the others. Food is amazing, service is great and the atmosphere has a more casual vibe. My favorite Pollo Inka location hands down!!

    Chicharron de Calamares

Tried the ceviche mixto for appetizer. Loved the different textures of the seafood and peanuts I believe it is. Never tried Peruvian ceviche usually used to one from the meat market but flavor was delicious. My cousin got fried calamari which he said was cooked well and went well with the green sauce they provide. Ordered the green noodles with breaded steak. Everything was delicious would definitely recommend 5/5!

This place used to be so good, now it's just gone down the drain and they don't offer much after they mess up. They forgot my Aji Verde, even after I paid for an EXTRA ONE and left a note to be sure they knew, since they forgot my fries last time. Speaking of fries, I asked for them to make them a little more well done and if you see the photo... does that look right to you? When I called, I got a "oh sorry. We can give you free sauce next time." THATS SO GENEROUS! WOW! ‍ This isn't the same without the sauce - which is why I paid for extra. So disappointed. Thanks for ruining dinner. Again. Anyone know of a better place they can recommend?

I ordered Pina colada and it's was on the rocks as well the margaritas. Dinner was delicious as usual. Other people arrived for dinner And stayed for the dance without the bracelet which meant no cover charge for them. Cumbias were minimal and the Disco was non existent. I asked the DJ exclusively to put the disco music on, He put on 3 songs no one's ever heard of and continued with merengue and salsa. The place was SUPER hot no Air conditioner at all not even fans. It's an older crowd which is a plus plus with no drama. It's an ok place to get dinner and a night out. 80s music must be updated and don't call it cumbias because it's mostly merengue and salsa which is played on Fridays supposedly. Waitresses are tired so not very friendly and take a while to come back to the table, Will return as the food is good but will bring my own fan hopefully the blender is working and will NOT expect good Disco music.

A lot of the dishes we ordered included squid, but each one was prepared differently, so the textures were all unique and enjoyable. It made the meal more interesting and satisfying. The atmosphere felt a bit exotic to me in a good way, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. The only downside was the restroom. It didn't seem to be cleaned very well, which was a little disappointing. Overall, though, the food quality and service made it a place we're glad we tried.

We tried their lomito saltado and arrocito norteno. They didn't provide any aji sauce for the lomito (surprising) but were quick to bring some when we requested it. The beef was very tender! So although definitely more expensive than more casual Peruvian spots, we could taste the quality. I also loved the arrocito norteno, as I love seafood paella, and this was basically that. The scallops and octopus were so good! This place is a bit more luxe than the other Peruvian places I've tried before, which is reflected in their price. Although we were there in the day, I could imagine this place being a cute date spot at night. Glad to try this main stay in Long Beach and would recommend for a bit more upscale meal (although no pressure to dress nice at all, just seems like that vibe).

Aji on 4th Streets Retro Row delivered the goods as my Wife & I had journeyed down to Peru in 2024 and from Lima, Cusco and Puno. The flavours encompassed in the dishes we'd ordered which were the Lomito Saltado and the Aji De Gallina were as authentic here as what we dined on back in 2024 which certifies them as premier purveyors of Peruvian cuisine. Drinks wise, they had Maracuya juice which is their local version of passionfruit in that region as well as Chicha Morada which is their Purple Corn beverage composed of cinnamon, cloves, fresh lime juice and when in Peru, they'll utilize pineapple husks for flavouring. It apparently is more popular in Peru than Coca-Cola and after a few sips you'll inevitably see why. Next up when I return will be the Causa trio, in the meanwhile this establishment comes heavily recommended from someone who has traveled to Peru as they hit the nail on the head with their offerings.

We got the beef empanada and chicken empanadas. Those were pretty nice portions for $4 each and had generous fillings. I liked the beef one more. The lomo saltado was okay - the beef was cooked to medium but only a little juicy and a bit tough. The fries felt like they were frozen as some had weird texture and the rice is undercooked. I've had better so I was a little disappointed. The tallarine verde con pollo is a pesto pasta with chicken, Peruvian style. I love the creaminess and very flavorful and hearty pesto sauce in the dish. Noodles were of good texture despite it being very hot in temperature. The sangrias were excellent. For $7 it is fair for a nice cocktail drink. I liked the red sangria more. It was fairly strong. Service is good as expected since we were the only table and they made sure we got everything we wanted, on request. Prices were a bit high (my first impression from menus a year ago was like, wow nice value for good portions at good quality, but prices have almost doubled plus 4% extra which makes it hard to justify casually going here unless for a nice meal out, minus the ambience, which is where I took off a star)

Seating: No-frills setup but good art to feel like you're in Peru. Good for small groups, inside seating for about 20 people. Vibes: Welcome to Gardena! Nothing flashy of mainstream LA but you can appreciate its local charm. Very much a local, no-hype spot. You walk in, smell the chicken roasting, and already know what you're getting into. It's all about the food here. FOOD / DRINKS: 2 Piece Chicken & 2 Sides (Recommend) This is the main event. Juicy, well-seasoned, and that rotisserie flavor really comes through. Pollo a la brasa is a Peruvian staple known for its roasted, marinated chicken cooked over heat for that smoky flavor --and this delivers on that expectation. Signature aji sauce - garlic, peppers, lime, cilantro. The beans were hearty and filling, and the coleslaw helped balance out the richness of the chicken. Finally the tortilla provided nice savory and comforting flavors. Nothing overly fancy, but they do the job well. Chicha Morada (Recommend) Refreshing and slightly sweet--perfect to wash everything down. It's a traditional Peruvian drink made from purple corn with fruit and spices, giving it that unique flavor. CUSTOMER SERVICE Straightforward and efficient. Gets the job done. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Awesome! Good food, reasonable prices and a pleasant experience. When the dish arrived, the batter on most items looked pale and undercooked instead of light and crisp. The scallop and squid pieces were especially bad--there was too much batter, and I had to pick the seafood out because the coating was heavy and doughy. The shrimp tempura was also soggy and not properly cooked. There was a lot of inconsistency on the plate. The pumpkin was over-browned and seemed like it may have been cooked separately or held too long, while the shishito pepper was fine. The egg was served with an undercooked white, and when I mentioned it, I was told that was intentional. I don't mind a runny yoke but I do not eat undercooked egg whites. Plus the tempura batter was mushy and undercooked on the outside of the egg. The white fish itself was fine, but overall the tempura seemed like it was coming out of unstable or poorly managed frying oil. I also noticed a slightly scorched oil smell and that other tempura dishes being served around me didn't look much better. Service was slow to check in after the food was dropped off, which made it difficult to address issues early. By the time I sent the shrimp back, most of the meal experience was already affected. The ambience also wasn't very comfortable--quite loud and not really conducive to a relaxed meal. Overall, I wouldn't return for tempura here based on this experience.
