Delicious food, great hospitable service, and you can't beat the beautiful view and ambiance on the pier! There is a variety of food and dessert options on the menu to please everyone! Our family loves the seafood, Thai dishes, Thai tea and delicious desserts - mango sticky rice, ube coconut and pandan coconut cakes!

    Pad siu w beef

We were there for mother's day dinner Sunday. Good thing we made reservation for 3PM. The place was packed w line out the door! Everything was so yummy DELICIOUS! Drinks: Thai tea, Diet Coke, and beers/lime. Dinner: Pad Siu w beef (so tasty) seafood combo, 2 lbs shrimp extra spicy hot (seafood is so plump, fresh and sweet); the fish and chips w Cajun fried were the children's favorite!, crispy calamari w Cajun fries are so good; coconut seafood soup (loaded with fish), best Cajun fried rice ever. Dessert: we had coconut cream Ube cake, coconut cream macha cake and the best mango sticky rice. The service was fast, friendly and thoughtful. We were a large group of 12. I can't say enough how fun and wonderful it was there, with the beautiful view of the Redondo Beach pier. Loved the experience.

The food here is amazing!! The pad see ew was on point. The noodles were so well cooked and chewy. The Cajun calamari was very crispy and well seasoned. The service was really good. The views of the pier are amazing they waited until to give us the seats by the window. The food came out pretty fast. One of the best Thai foods I've had in a while.

The Baseline: For a seafood boil restaurant the seafood must be fresh, the sauces must be flavorful, the experience has to make my hands saucy, and the extra offerings must accompany the main boil. Food: The shrimp and other seafood is fresh and sold per pound. It includes the sauce choice along with the options for the add-ins such as potatoes, sausages, and corn. They offer other Thai inspired offerings such as fried rice, noodles, etc. as well as fries. It actually makes it a bit eclectic but I come here for the shrimp. I get them unpeeled with the heads on so you can snap them and then suck out the juices. It is really good for that and the sauces make them better. Service: The service is fine here but I only care about the food since I am going to get messy. My water and drinks were not left empty. Ambiance: This is a good place to eat shrimp right on the Redondo Beach pier. You can view the ocean as you chow down on some shrimp and have a beverage of choice. The bathrooms are a bit left to be desired but they have a separate wash station to clean your hands.

I love boiled shrimp in a bad with all the spices and ingredients. This one was not to disappointing . I grabbed a pound of shrimp with all their flavors in a bag except for the curry seasoning . First time I saw that as an option on the mix flavor , but I didn't know what to expect from that so I didn't want to ruin my experience. The sauce was very , very tasty . service was great . We came in a slower day probably before rush hour . We go to redondo beach pier often to eat shrimp downstairs at quality seafood , even though we always pass by this place to park . Never went inside till we decided to . I definitely recommend this place . One thing I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Pay the extra bucks for the Deveined shrimp . . There was way too much vein and it made it a bit uncomfortable to eat . Even though I extremely love the Head on . It was just way too much yucky vein on the shrimp . Also my bag felt a little short . I eat this way more than I should at times but my bagged definitely felt skimped out . . Ambiance is nice . Beautiful view of the beach .

This place is amazing!!! Let start by saying I read all the reviews and well there is allot of false comments. This is not a cash only place, they accept all major credit cards. Also, they do have bathrooms for their customers. The food is amazing and very flavor-able. Every dish is exquisite. They taste authentic. It's fresh and great portions. Here are just a couple of plates we ordered. Honestly it was so good I had to put my camera down and enjoy the food or I would have taken more pictures of some of the other plate we enjoyed. The meats are moist, tender and every bite is delicious! The service was great and they were all very attentive. The staff is very sweet and great people if you take the time to speak with them. They all greeted us with smiles. I preferred the pay upfront motto. That way when we are done and ready we can just go. I know in comments said they backward leaving a tip before getting the meal, I am sure if you ask they can remove and add at the end if you ask. Or can leave a cash tip at the end. Let's talk about the view! The sunsets are amazing here and you are practically ocean front. There is a full view of windows to enjoy the view from any table. What a romantic place for a date or great place to have an event. It's a family oriented place as well especially if you want to enjoy some good food and get out of the sun. The place definitely deserves 5 stars! Thank you Shrimp Lover for always giving a good time and full satisfied tummys'!!!

Walked in & was immediately greeted by the person at the register. They have the menu to the right of the entrance & laid out on the table where the register is. We ordered at the register first & then we were directed to our table. These two plates were shared between two and my favorite of was the Chow Mein w added shrimp as our protein. The entire plate was delicious but I really enjoyed the amount of veggies. I felt the cilantro added a refreshing taste to it all and the cabbage side was a great addition that offered a different texture from the noodles, veggies & shrimp. The Ocean plate included calamari, fried fished and fried shrimp + I believe it was cajun seasoned fried w a side of ranch & ketchup that was not pictured. That too was good. I enjoyed my lunch here & I'm thankful for the welcoming service & food.

I love it here ! This is definitely my go-to place at Redondo Beach! I've heard that there are other great places at the pier, and personally... I didn't like them. From the shacks to the formal attire locations - this is the best. It feels like home, everyone is so welcoming, there's plenty of space to bring the whole family. Cash only though! We have tried the coconut water, the Cajun shrimp with rice , the seasoned fries and it's all finger licking worthy ! Parking is easy, there's. Large parking lot where you put your approximate time at the pier and the rest is taken care of. So put on the bib and come grab some delicious Cajun shrimp and bring the family!

Amazing food and the service was phenomenal! Staff was very friendly...........,.........................

Service nine out of 10 and prime location. But..... food was definitely overall below average. Cajun garlic butter shrimp was average at best. And garlic noodle tasted like it was instant box junk. We notified our waitress, but she seemed like she didn't know what to do. Now I can check it off my list. Definitely not a diamond in the rough, unfortunately.

The best tasty garlic bread ever!!
    Alisa V.

First time here, all seafood is very fresh, they have a tasty spicy dressing that you should try, and garlic bread is my favorite!! All staff is very friendly, great service, and very clean!! Definitely be back again!! Highly recommended for everyone that looking for the best seafood!!

Be careful, your cajun flavor might be coming from the fan above.

When we arrived it was apparent the "chef@ was also the hostess. As a result we waited quite a while to be greeted and seated. I should note that the chef did arrive about thirty minutes later. I ordered the Waan Om Khom Kluean yellow chicken curry and my guest had the deeb Sao Thai Pad Thai with shrimp. I also ordered a Thai ice tea and the server forgot to bring it. I had to remind her after my meal was almost finished. To me the chicken curry had a terrible unappetizing presentation. It looked like shredded chicken and big lumps of potatoes. In fast that's what it was. While the taste was pretty good, the over abundance of potatoes felt like a filler for less chicken. It was a decent dish but far from one of my favorites. The Pad Thai looked a lot better. My guest said it was good, not great, and that he'd order it again. Now to the price. Nearly $70 including the two dishes, one Thai ice tea and rice. This was not fine dining. I realize they have bills to pay but it was much more than I've paid at other Thai restaurants for similar meals. All parking is on the street. One need a bit of courage to park on PCH as passing cars make it scary to open the driver's door. Cars were flying by in the 40's and 50's and it's a very unsafe parking location.

I was impressed with the variety that the Street Food Lunch menu offered. I love how they had some classic favorites as well as unique dishes that aren't commonly found. They had House Noodle Soup, Ba Mee Hung, BBQ Roasted Duck, Mint Leaves with Ground Chicken, Cashew Nut Chicken, Kao Pao Crispy Pork Belly, Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork Belly, Pad Thai Noodles with Shrimp and Chicken, Ba Raan Noodle Soup, Kao Soi Chicken, Mixed Vegetable, Garlic Pepper Pork, Spicy Eggplant Tofu, Spicy Fried Rice Chicken, Tom Yum Kai Noodle Soup, Pad Kee Mow Chicken, Pad See You Noodle with Beef and Chinese Broccoli, Kang Karee Chicken, Kang Pad Beef and Green Curry Shrimp. It was hard to choose from the good variety of items but my friend and I chose to get their Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork Belly and their Kao Soi Chicken. The Kao Soi Chicken was beautifully plated. It came with a tall stand of fried egg noodles on top of coconut curry broth with chicken, egg noodle, onions and pickled package. The Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork Belly came with lots of pork belly with stir fried Chinese Broccoli and sides of white rice and fried egg. Both dishes were delicious! I loved the creamy, rich coconut curry curry broth from the Kao Soi Noodle. There was lots of tender chicken in the soup and it paired well with the egg noodles I also tried my friend's dish and appreciated the crisp pork belly and flavorful Chinese Broccoli. The Thai flavors were on point! I definitely want to come back and try more of their Thai Street Food. I enjoyed lunch here very much. Not only were the entrees flavorful, they were also large in size. I even had enough for dinner. I am excited to try their other dishes like the Tom Yum Kai Noodle Soup and the Kang Karee Chicken.
