    GUMBO MUMBO OVER RICE

Didn't wait that long, clean place, nice bathrooms, friendly staff. The bread for the sandwiches was top notch, and the gumbo was a great portion with big flavor. Definitely one of the best Louisiana food restaurants in LA.

Poultry Gumbo Soup "Rich broth, hearty, and perfect for mixing with the dirty rice."

I've lived in Carson for many years and somehow never tried Orleans & York - until now. I honestly don't know why I waited so long. This was my first time ordering and everything was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Dirty Egg Burrito (no egg), Large Dirty Rice, Cajun Fries, and the Large Poultry Gumbo Soup. The flavors were bold, well-seasoned, and comforting. The burrito was so good I planned to save it for breakfast... but ended up eating half for dinner instead. The dirty rice was full of flavor and generously portioned, perfect for stretching into multiple meals. The gumbo had plenty of broth, which I personally appreciate, and I already know mixing some of the dirty rice into it later is going to be amazing. The Cajun fries were well-seasoned; I prefer mine a bit crispier, but that's just personal preference and didn't take away from the overall experience. Everything was packed well and arrived in great condition. Overall, this was a great first experience with rich flavors and satisfying portions. I will definitely be ordering again - and next time, I'll be dining in.

Orleans & York Deli in Carson is such a great spot to grab a fresh, delicious meal! The place has an awesome vibe, warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. I stopped by for lunch today (I work right across the street at California Credit Union), and I have to give a special shoutout to Deyahna. She's beautiful, phenomenal, super friendly and provides amazing service every time! If you're in the area, definitely come by to enjoy the holiday vibes and great music. I'm a big fan of jazz, and this place absolutely nailed the atmosphere. Highly recommend!

It's my second time to this location and they move pretty fast in this cute little deli in Carson. Our cashier Mya was kind and helpful as we ordered our delicious Po' Boy and Hero sandwiches. To round out our meal we ordered Dirty Fries (which is a meal in itself with meat, cheese, peppers, and spices on top of fries), Red Beans and Rice, a chocolate chip cookie, and Peach Crumble.

    Shrimp Po Boy

Tried the Shrimp Po Boy, Delicious just like NO ! Menu is legit , Service was speedy ! Place is very clean. I will be back to try a different sandwich

Had the big Mo's favorite and this has to be my favorite.

Truly delicious food and exceptional service- couldn't ask for more! I'll definitely be back because it's hard to find a great po' boy spot, and this place nails it. I dined in and it was a good experience from it being clean and to the music itself, definitely enjoyed my experience here. Can't wait to try everything on the menu.

The food was great and the service was also great! I forgot to take a picture of the clam chowder because I ate it hella fast. Deyanah is a gem, the food came out fast, will definitely be back soon. Yes they're under construction but they are very open!!!

    NY Breakfast burrito

I've never had a breakfast burrito before & this burrito right here...9/10. To be fair I ordered w/out salsa but another type of spice would've made this a 10/10. All beef. No pork!

Do you offer a catering menu I work for a company down the street from you and every Wednesday we order food for the whole company? The only problem is that a lot of places in this area do not cater

Yes we do ;) come in in for a full catering menu.

The fried shrimp and fish completely lacked seasoning, the greens had absolutely no flavor, and the potato salad was far too sweet. While the manager (or owner) was very nice and patient when explaining the menu to my grandmother, the bartender was incredibly rude. I stood right in front of her waiting to be served, and she completely ignored me until I spoke up. When I asked about the to-go Hurricanes, she struggled to describe what was essentially an adult Capri-Sun pouch. When I pointed toward a container to clarify, she snapped at me with attitude, "No, that's a wine glass," even though I wasn't pointing anywhere near it. To make matters worse, a single to-go drink is over $20--at that price, I'd rather just buy a whole bottle.

The restaurant is very clean and organized. Our server was so sweet and welcoming. She walked us through the options and made recommendations based on our party. For a party of 3, we ordered one pound of shrimp, one pound of snow crab, and half pound of clams. The staff recommended mixing their sauces and it definitely hit the spot. The seafood was fresh and meaty and the garlicky, spicy sauce kicked the flavor up a notch. We also ordered a side of fries to share and the dip it came with was amazing as well. The price is very reasonable! It was definitely bang for your buck. They have happy hours that span a good chunk of the day so definitely take advantage of that. Will definitely be back to support a local small business.

The music was good and sports were available if that's your thing Cons: It took 30 minutes to receive our appetizers and at that time I was told they could not fulfill a portion of my order, I withdrew my order of rice and bang bang sauce. After 30 more minutes most of our order came out with the exception of the garlic bread. I was told that it takes a significant amount of time to make and asked if i wanted something else instead. I felt an hour for two burritos was excessive so declined adding anything else. Moments later my bread appeared. It took a full hour and some change to receive our order which I thought was unreasonable, especially since at this point we were the only patrons. Overall: Food was alright, reasonably priced, and portions were aligned with the price. However, I would recommend ordering ahead or anticipate a long wait time. When we went we were one of two patrons but it seemed they had a fair stream of take out orders. I frequent the area but do not live nearby and nothing caught my attention enough to return.

For a party of four, we ordered: SHRIMP LOVER COMBO, LOBSTER ROLL, SIDE OF RICE, BASKET OF SEASONED FRIES, AND MAD DOG XXX SAUCE on the side. Portion-wise, we left comfortably full and only slightly questioning our life choices. The Shrimp Lover Combo can't be modified. We chose Stinkin' Special and Spicy, which came with a plastic glove so you can dig in like a civilized gremlin. The Stinkin' Special was a generous blasts of Old Bay and enough garlic to ward off vampires. The Mad Dog sauce wasn't shock-your-soul spicy, but it definitely lingered. I was still feeling its friendly burn hours later and well into the evening. The LOBSTER ROLLL was tasty but fleeting. It's one of those dishes that makes you realize the meal is almost over right when you're hitting peak satisfaction. A little emotional damage there. We wrapped it all up with deep-fried Oreos and ice cream, which was an instant win. Sweet, cooling relief after all that heat. They have that slightly sweet cornmeal interior that pairs so well with their savory dishes. Always worth adding! * Combo Jambalaya Plate: A massive portion and pure comfort.
