Disappointing ordered something for pick up and the steak was raw. I don't know how you can serve your to go like that. It's gross! The egg rolls are also not fresh they're old I don't know what the hype about it was. Spent 60 dollars for all the food that we ordered and not satisfied at all. I want my money back. DO NOT EAT HERE. DISGUSTING. I've ate at this business on more than one occasion and I'm sad to say That I will no longer be eating their anymore. On one occasion I found a piece of shrimp shell in my chicken pho and told the host about it and all she could tell me was sorry. Last night I found a Fly in my food and all they did was refund that meal instead of the whole bill which only included one other pho. This establishment is not caring for their guest. Either you spend money not. I'd rather spend my money with people who actually give a damn about the people they serve instead of looking at them just as dollar signs. I WILL NEVER BE DINING AT THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. and I would advise others not to do so. There is another Pho spot down the way called Pho Daily that is much better as well as one on Hawthorne BLVD called Saigon Dish that customer service is the best I have ever had. read more

Located across the street from Southbay Pavillion. It's like in a small shopping center with many medical offices, but on the other side? We weren't able to find parking where the restaurant was, so we parked in the shopping center with the medical offices. Visited on a Friday around 12:45pm with my friend. Parking was plentiful as the complex isn't large or busy. The signage is a bit confusing. Apparently, this placed used to be called Pho King Way, but changed it's name to Pho Crystal 3 after new ownership. However, there are signs for both, so my friend and I thought it was strange to have neighboring pho shops (we're not from the area). We walked in to find they were the same restaurant lol we were immediately greeted by an employee who led us to our table when we walked in. There were maybe 6-7 other small parties in the restaurant with 3 visible employees - they wear a royal blue shirt! Our server gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. I ordered the small pho with brisket (pho chin) and my friend ordered the large combo pho (pho dac biet). Service is very quick. They put a lime slice in your iced water cup. Water was brought out quickly along with the plate with bean sprouts/veggies. Utensils available at each table were also clean! Soon enough, our food was delivered. The broth is a bit bland and did not have a strong beef flavor. (Granted, I am very used to the pho from the Westminster area where people love salt LOL). There was an adequate amount of brisket, but there was waay too much broth in both bowls. They use thin pho noodles, and there was a lot of that too. The noodles were slightly undercooked (still hard and attached to each other), making it a task to break them up. At the end of the meal, they provided complimentary dessert - it's like this soupy sweetness with tiny tapioca pearls. Great service. Average pho. pretty clean. Probably will not return. Total for both bowls was about $20. read more

Reasonably priced, fast and friendly service and delicious food. Chicken in the Chicken Vermicelli was so well seasoned, which was so nice. The French Bread for the Bahn Mi is perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle, best enjoyed ASAP. The comparisons to the other place are naturally going to happen. For those that left 1 or 2 stars b/c of so called bland broth, you guys are just plain not smart. Know what you're eating and talking about before you grade and be so ignorantly negative. 1st, the old place used MSG. On top of that, the darker color and adding to the so-called taste was due to overcooking of the broth. More salty because it was overcooked and adding MSG led to what you called more 'flavorful'. That's not good quality soup. Service is wayyyyyyyyy better. People actually speak to you. They understand you. And they can be understood. Presentation of the restaurant and food is better. The facility is 10 times cleaner. Quality of food is night and day. So Much Better Now! The current owners are doing it right by not putting in old meat, using old vegetables obviously sitting around for a few/several days. I also had the pork chops with rice and there was no shortage of rice for me. Not just 1 slice of cucumber and tomato but 2 fresh slices of each. The taste and quality of the pork was really good. Downside - portions are smaller in the Pho. Definitely less noodles which is fine by me. Hard to say if the meet is the same portion or not. Before I ate 1 small bowl and I'd be full. Now I ate 1 small bowl and 2.5 egg rolls and was equally full. Place is good. Simple as that. People shouldn't be downgrading b/c of comparisons to the old place. It's a new place. New restaurant. Grade it on its own merits. I'm a fan of the new restaurant. Quality and service downright good. read more

They have vegetarian pho options!!! Let me start off by saying, I was a Blue Lotus customers for years before I turned vegetarian. After that I stopped going because they don't have a vegetarian pho option. When I saw Pho Crystal 3 had a V pho option I immediately went ahead and ordered it. They have 2 options for V pho, broccoli tofu and a vegetable pho with vegetable broth. The man on the phone said it would be done in 5 minutes! Great service and very friendly staff. When I ordered the Vegetable pho it came with a whole bunch of vegetables! (Bok choy, carrots it was say better than I expected and for a reasonable price (10.00)! I put my own V hoisin and sriracha for preference, but the pho taste great and I'm so happy I can get V pho locally now! Needless to say I'll be coming back!! read more

We went back to Pho Crystal 3 to give them another try. There is improvement since the last time we went there. More noodles than before however the soup was lukewarm. The texture of the cooked beef was rather grainy and chewy. I found one thin piece of tripe. Still needs improvement before they can catch up to their predecessor Pho King Way. May be that is why by comparison, there are not as many diners in the restaurant. Disappointed that they do not serve the real Vietnamese drip coffee. The cold coffee taste slightly burnt. The food is authentic, delicious, reasonably priced and there's great customer service! Ordered the seafood pho, chicken bahn mi and egg rolls. So good! My fave pho spot is Golden Deli in SGV. But since it's closed for their annual shutdown, I decided to venture out and give another place a shot. Found them on Ig, all looks delicious so I was hoping the hype was worth the drive over there. I got the beef broth with veggies pho; egg rolls/lettuce; sliced onions; and shrimp spring rolls. To my surprise, veggie pho soup was pretty tasty and filled with yummy veggies and noodles! Didn't taste or look like sock water(I'm jaded from other pho spots). Egg rolls are a bit small and can't really taste filling, but would still order again. Not a fan of the spring rolls, but it's just me, I prefer eating warm rolls with soup. I picked up order, didn't have time to sit and eat there, so food does travel good. I do always reheat soup at home(liquid only) before pouring on to veggies and noodles. Restaurant is located on the outside of small plaza. No outdoor seating. Friendly staff. read more

Good Pho but not enough meat. I've ordered the pho with tripe (Dirt Cheap Meat!) and received only a few slivers with lots of noodles. Broth is very good but I won't be back until they take their heads out of their asses. I work in Carson, and the Vietnamese restaurant that was at this same location several years ago was my absolute favorite, and I have missed it terribly! It's been a long time... I have tried a few other places that have not been as good, and I was craving Pho yesterday, so I finally decided to give it a try, based on mostly positive recent reviews. I ordered the small sliced beef and tendon pho, to go, and it was ready almost as quickly as I could check and answer a text message from my mother. After a ~10 minute drive and a stop in the bathroom, I poured the broth into the bowl, and to my delight, it was still hot enough to cook the thinly sliced rare beef, then I added the basil and as many sprouts a I could fit into the provided bowl. The broth was tasty and fragrant, and the portion size was huge - a great value for the price given recent inflation. Maybe next time I should split it into two servings! I literally could not finish it all, even though I was stuffed silly. Why didn't I visit here sooner? I decided to round up from 4.5 stars to 5, because 4 didn't seem to do this justice. read more
