Took my daughter here for lunch today - my first visit. Odd location at the back of a strip mall next to a bodyshop. Nice decor - comfortable seating and very clean. Service was quick and efficient. I had the spicy Pho with steak, shrimp and peanuts. So good! It was spicy but with more than just heat - with FLAVOR! I ordered the large - it was a good portion - filled me up and still had leftovers. My daughter had a chicken Pho and she really enjoyed her meal as well. She added soy sauce and hot sauce to taste - along with the fresh bean sprouts that they brought to the table. At just under $20 for two of us with entrees and soda I thought it was priced well for the quality and portion size. read more

My husband and I came here since we were in the area. We both got the Pho Dac Biet... him a large and me a small size. Originally, my husband thought the price was decent (prior to seeing our order) When the server came with our bowls, the only thing we were impressed was that the broth and the heat of the broth was good... my husband was disappointed that there wasn't really any meat, and it seemed as if his "large" could've been a small despite the "difference" in the size of the bowl--which isn't much. Since I rarely eat meat, I gave him mine, but then, it was hard for me to find my meat, too since I didn't have much to begin with... As for the sprouts and basil that came with the dish... the sprouts were not fresh, but more wilted and when we came it was just an hour after they opened. I'm sure probably other items on their menu are good, but I don't think I want to come back... at least not for the Pho since we're pretty picky on our noodle soup, and this didn't come close. read more

My girlfriend LOVES this place. It's definitely a hole in the wall in a pretty seedy looking area. The service is average. I order takeout here once every two weeks and it's always consistent. Sadly, I'm not a big pho person, mostly because I don't eat beef broth, but also because I've never been huge into soups. Tori swears by the seafood pho though, so it must be good. I've ordered the vegetable fried rice here, which I do not recommend. Both times I ordered it, it tasted like freezer burn. I do recommend the vegetarian banh mi though. I had HORRIBLE experience for the money I paid. Food quality is actually so terrible: * Bahn-mi sandwich's bread is crusty and old. I asked for chicken, but it had poorly looking 2 strips. Other restaurants put at least 4 times more meat. So it feels like you are eating old bread with couple strips of carrots and jalapenos. * Pho bowl I ordered with meat, however it only had broth, noodles and almost NO meat. Service is awful!!! * It felt like you are in prison restaurant or something. You get that hateful, ignorant, eat-and-get-out-of-here look and good luck with asking questions. Those of you up in this part of town know that options for quick, inexpensive, and relatively healthy restaurant food are thin. Pho Bothell fits the bill wonderfully. I've only had the ban mi and bun chao tom thit nuong. The sandwich was fine. It's not the best I've ever had but it was cheap, had tasty pork, and the bread was reasonable. The bun was pork with shrimp wrapped around sugar cane. The pork came on two skewers, like satay, and was amazing. I could eat a whole plate of the suckers. The shrimp on sugar cane was really shrimp paste around a massive chunk of sugar cane. Hard to eat and not really that much flavour. Would skip next time. The noodles were great. Pho Bothell is an easy choice if you want something different for a quick dinner in the Bothell/Mill Creek area. read more

We ordered the pork chop, meat patty and rice dish, and while the pork chop was large, only about 15 percent of it was edible. Of that 15 percent, much of that was nearly raw and undercooked. And the meat patty that came with it was only a little larger than a teaspoon. Surprisingly small. They will give you plenty of rice and fish sauce though, but it definitely was not worth the money spent here. The only reason i say a 4.5/5 for the meat quality is because i'v ate some "expensive pho" and the meat just doesnt get any better then that cut. I agree with another reviewer H H. that having Pho in the restaurant name one would have higher expectation with it, along with the 4 stars review here, but unfortunately both the broth, the amount of meat and the rice noodle itself is all so-so. I have pho almost every week and I was in that area so naturally I gave this place a try. The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. We ordered 2 pho along with an order of spring rolls with grilled chicken. The spring rolls are a bit on the shorter side but pretty tasty with the grill meat. The pho, like I mentioned earlier, is a bit on the disappointing side. The rice noodle tasted pretty starchy and the raw steak I ordered were all cooked already. The best part of the pho is that it's boiling hot. I think I will come back for their rice with grilled meat but most likely not their pho. read more

Meh. I came in on a lunch break and ordered a small veggie. It was quick, the noodles were tasty, and it was spruced up with lots of extras like broccoli, carrots and such. However, the tofu was by far the worst tofu i've ever had. It tasted like old grease. It seemed overcooked as well. This is the best Pho i have had in Bothell. Most Pho places when you try consistently do not deliver. This place has been consistent with their generous servings and meat, veggies they put in the Pho soup. I have tried there Chicken Pho and Pork meat ball Pho, they give you plenty of meat and the broth is very tasty. Most Pho places the meat is dry but this place has always been juicy and delicious. I can have a small chicken pho (which is pretty big) with an order of egg rolls and walk out for 10.00! The rolls are clearly freshly made and taste consistently wonderful! This is by far the BEST pho you are going to eat! Their broth alone is better then any I have ever had. My husband and I am always trying to find good Pho that is comparable to this place as we live in Everett. We have yet to find one. We have come close, but still nothing compares to Bothell Pho. I've had everything from their pho (beef and chicken) to their yummy spicy chicken wings and I'm not a person who really likes spicy food but the flavor of these wings were awesome. Solid Pho and other Vietnamese food. The portions are good as well. The price is fairly standard for a Vietnamese restaurant. There is a language barrier which often results in mis-orders. I just adore this restaurant. The people here are so nice and really helpful with exploring the menu, which makes the experience more fun. We always get the fresh rolls and have tried other appetizers, but those are our favorite. All of the pho soups are delicious and there is this spicy lemongrass fish sauce one that is unreal. If you have any kind of cold, this is the solution to get your sinuses free and clear! It is definitely a different flavor, so you have to like fish sauce and she warned us about that but we took the risk and it was worth it. We do like it with rice noodles better than udon style noodle and they are cool about swapping out, just let them know when you order. I go to this place to get their vietnamese sandwiches. It's alright. I haven't tried their pho. I've never been to a restaurant where they don't have ventilation because every time I come here I end up coming outside smelling like pho. Typically it is at a Korean bbq place but this place? I go here for lunch all the time because I work closeby. I usually order the soup, curry, or chicken sandwiches, and the spring rolls. All the food I've had there is great. The chicken sandwiches are what I get most of the time because they're quick, easy, and really tasty. The curry there is very good, and the spring rolls are good too. I've had better Pho once or twice, but I've had to pay an arm and a leg for it. The best part about this place is the price! Most of the stuff I get there is under $5 which keeps me coming back.
