The soup is very tasty but doesn't seem heavy or spiked with msg. The flavor is just perfect. The beef is not tough or chewy which is very hard to find in pho restaurants. Grilled chicken and pork vermicelli (5/5) It is very difficult to find a pho place where they can do both the soup noodles and vermicelli right. It's alway one or the other but this spot hits them both spectacularly. The fish sauce is light but tasty and both the chicken and pork are soooo soft and juicy. The noodle itself has a perfect bounciness and delightful to chew. The star of the show is the egg rolls. So crunchy and fresh! Hands down the best tasting Vietnamese restaurant in north Seattle area. Don't miss it!

It was my dad's second time trying this amazing cuisine so I walked him through the menu. Short rib rice combo was great with some Pickled and fresh veg on the side like a mini salad to balance out the heaviness of the meat which was also perfectly cooked and to die for! Made with a well balanced sauce on the side. My dad couldn't get enough once it was on the rice. I'm happy for him! I got my pho with tendon and found it to be flavorful and light. I seasoned according to my preference. The bill comes to you with your food. You pay by going to the cashier once done eating. It's well lit and nicely decorated with a small view of the kitchen staff hard at work. They will be remodeling part of February 2026, so I will return in March to check out the changes in decoration. Thank you Pho Nguyen's! Good luck and see you in the new year

I tried their chicken rice bowl and the portion size was amazing, at least two people can eat out of it and they were generous with their chicken as well. Their hot sauce was delicious and they told me it was garlic and chili. I wish I got more of it. The person who helped me out was super friendly and helpful. We had a good chat while I was waiting (no more than 5 mins) for my food. There isn't much space to sit down so to go or their outdoor seating would be best if you plan to dine in.

Did not feel welcome with her presence and it was awkward placing an order. I had the grilled pork bahn mi. It was overall good, flavorful, bun toasted well and did not ruin your mouth , fresh pickled veggies and had great portion for the price of $7.95. The fried egg rolls were not my jam however. The filling was different than I'm used to. It was meaty or filled enough, but was just different. My friend and I sat outside since it was a sunny day. Wait time was appropriate for quick food. My friend got her vermicelli bowl first, then my bahn mi and eventually the egg rolls. Since we sat outside, we had to go back in for our food when it was ready. We did not hear the lady call out for the egg rolls, so she came out and brought it out BUT with a rude comment: "I kept calling you inside, so I brought it out for you". Pretty unnecessary comment and we legit did not hear her call us. We were also the ONLY customers there too. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back with the service alone.

We ended up choosing a place close and were not disappointed at all. This restaurant is located off a busy street but it luckily offers a parking lot which can be hard to come by in Seattle. Because we came on the earlier side, we were seated quite quickly :) The space is pretty large so I don't think I would worry about a wait on a weekday. We were very impressed by the options provided. I usually don't find Bun Bo Hue on the menu often which is what my partner ended up ordering. I ordered the Bun rieu which is even harder to come by. We also ordered the crispy butter garlic wings to share which was a perfect choice. The service was very fast and we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our stuff came out after placing our order. The portions were also HUGE and we both had enough to take home for a second meal. The Bun rieu was super tomatoey and had a rich flavor which the crab. My mom makes Bun rieu at home and I was very much happy with this bowl too, reminded me a lot of how my mom makes it! The Bun Bo Hue was not super spicy but we appreciated being able to customize. The garlic wings were SOOOO good. So crispy and seasoned so well, we would 100% get these again they were so good. We left very full, warm, and satisfied with this pick. We likely will be back in the near future!

Pho Café -- Comforting Vietnamese Flavors Done Right…read more Rating: (5/5) Pho Café delivers exactly what a great neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant should: a deeply comforting bowl of pho, generous portions, and warm hospitality that makes you want to return again and again. Sometimes simplicity executed well is all you need -- and this place understands that perfectly. Ambiance - 4/5 The atmosphere is casual, relaxed, and welcoming -- the kind of spot where you can comfortably enjoy a quiet lunch or dinner without distraction. It's unpretentious and focused on what matters most: the food. Authenticity - 5/5 The pho here feels rooted in tradition. From the aromatic broth to the balanced toppings and noodle texture, the restaurant captures the essence of authentic Vietnamese comfort food without trying to overly modernize or commercialize the experience. Flavor - 5/5 The broth is the true standout -- rich, savory, and layered with flavor without becoming overly salty. You can taste the hours of simmering behind it. The meat portions were also generous and satisfying, making each bowl feel hearty and complete rather than skimpy or rushed. Service - 5/5 Service was warm and attentive throughout the meal. The staff carried themselves with a genuinely positive attitude, creating an inviting experience that matched the comforting nature of the food itself. Cost - 5/5 For the quality of the broth, the generous meat portions, and the level of hospitality, the value here is excellent. It's the kind of restaurant that leaves you feeling both satisfied and well taken care of. Final Thoughts Pho Café may not rely on flashy presentation or trendy gimmicks, but it succeeds where it matters most: authentic flavor, comforting execution, and heartfelt service. A well-deserved 5-star experience and an easy recommendation for anyone craving a proper bowl of pho.
