Regular Size Pho with Tendon and Meatballs
Melissa U.

Very clean little restaurant with quick service and amazing food! The pho came out steaming hot with lots of flavor in the broth. The tendon was thinly sliced and just the right texture. The combination rice plate is a must order! It came with a pork chop, chicken, and a skewer of shrimp. Very well marinated! Their thai iced tea was also delicious!

Regular pho with meatballs--authentic and tasty

I was staying close by due to an early flight from Paine Field, and this place was within walking distance, in a nearby strip mall. Ambiance was typical Asian strip mall cafe--very simple, harsh fluorescent lights. The service was brusque but efficient, and within just a few minutes I had a steaming hot bowl of pho (regular, with meatballs). This appears to be the kind of place where you are expected to know how to prepare your pho once you get it (no asking if you know how to prepare your pho to taste)--luckily I knew what I was doing and they provided all the fresh and condiment fixings. The broth was delicious--you could smell a hint of five spice, and it had that look of well simmered stock. And the meatballs were tasty. This is some of the best pho I've had in the Seattle area. Check them out if you're in the area and don't need atmospherics or handholding when it comes to ordering or eating pho :)

Small eatery but very popular . I loved their daily special that changed weekly . The Pho soup flavor was good , the restaurant is clean , I will be back again .

Pho Cafe is still my favorite pho spot up north. Had their Bun Bo Hue soup which is a weekend special and it's everything you want in this traditional Vietnamese soup. Blood cubes, pork hock and beef shank! The broth is rich and flavorful and pairs perfectly with an ice cold cup of water. 5/5 it cured my Halloween hangover.

I will never not love coming here. The Pho is always the best and the people who work here are so nice and attentive. With the weather being cold out, it's so nice to just have a place to go to to have a hot meal and hot cup of tea.

Large pho with brisket and meatballs; you can ask for chili oil and it's good

For the first time ever Mukilteo finally has a pho restaurant! And this might be my favorite local spot right now. Lately, a lot of of my favorite restaurants have been skimping on the portion and raising the prices so it has become to a point of no return. When I tried pho Café, I was excited that it was only five minutes away from my house, but also because the soup comes out piping hot. They give you generous portions of meat and it's just a solid bowl of fun. You have to ask for their house chili oil, which they silently keep in the back for those who only know to ask for it. I like that their spring rolls come with a trifecta of pork crispy, wonton, and shrimp, which is good.

Small cozy Vietnamese restaurant, parking right outside. Even the restaurant is small but very clean inside. The staffs were great and delicious food. We ordered Spicy beef noodles, Special rice plate. Both were great serving and so flavorful. Check their Facebook for weekly special. Very recommended!

House special combination rice plate with pork chicken and shrimp (to go).

What a great find! The house special combination rice plate caught my eye because it's got shrimp, pork, and chicken. At other Vietnamese places you have to choose one so getting all three was quite nice. All three proteins were very flavorful and nicely charred. The service was courteous and efficient. At the time I stopped by it seems they have plenty of repeat customers as the patrons appear to be familiar with the staff. Definitely eating here again if I am ever back in town.

Beef rib Pho with steak and brisket. Top left is nuoc beo (fatty broth) underneath is house made chili oil.

Still the best Pho I've had from Tacoma to Everett. The amount of love and dedication sets them ahead of everyone else. The nouc beo (fatty broth) is delicious and a tell tale sign if your Pho is legit or not. The chili oil is also delicious and a great example of the effort they put into their business since its made in house. Just when I thought this place couldn't get any better, I had their beef rib Pho (limited time only) with steak and brisket. The food coma was real and worth it! I hope to see that one on their menu permanently! Consider yourself lucky if you live nearby because I drive almost an hour for this Pho!

Had an appointment in Mukilteo and passed by this Pho spot again. Decided to eat a late lunch here and so glad I did. First thing I noticed was that there were people eating here at 3pm. Normally I thought it would be a slow time but they still had several people and pickups while I ate. My plan was to eat a bowl of pho since that's what I was craving, but the lady taking my order said they had a special. Special was a braised pork with egg over rice. I was craving noodles though so she nicely gave me a bowl of vermicelli and a small bowl of rice and told me to try both. The special pork tasted very similar to a pork adobo, but not as salty. It was SO GOOD. I told them they need to put this on the menu every day and she laughed. The pork was so tender and basically cut apart with just a fork. The eggs I thought were so good. I've had marinated eggs before, but the yolk on these was how you would expect hard boiled eggs to be like, but the white part was marinated. I absolutely loved this and the lady was so happy to hear that because she said it was intentional. Again had a pretty good meal here and the people working here (probably owners) are so nice. OH AND ASK THEM SATAY SAUCE ITS SO GOOD!

Rice with grilled shrimp, pork and chicken ($15.50)

We were glad to see a new Vietnamese restaurant in Mukilteo. It's is located in a strip mall across from Taco Bell. Ambiance: First impression was the harsh white hospital tube lighting. Not recommended if you're on a date because it washes out your skin tone. The inside temperature was cold so we kept our jackets on as did others. We sat at a table where I could feel a cold draft attacking my legs due to the back door being propped open so I asked the waitstaff to close it. This was late November after all. We ordered the special pho ($14.50 regular & $15.50 large) and rice plate with grilled shrimp, chicken, and pork ($15.50). High score for the meats on both entrees as they were very tender. I felt the portions were on the small size for the price. Menu was basic with pho, bun, rice, and sandwiches. I asked about Bun Bo Hue that other reviewers mentioned but our waitress said it was only available on weekends depending on the chef. I prefer Vietnamese restaurants with more specialty offerings but if you are craving the basics, Pho Cafe is worth a try.

Pho regular - with beef meatballs & tendon

The broth is exactly how I imagine delicious pho to taste! I love how the pho is easily customizable. You can choose what type of meat you want - I picked meatballs and tendons. Service was very friendly and came to check if we needed anything. Parking was easy (parking lot available). Very excited to come back again for my pho cravings!

We were offered hot tea upon arrival. Try it if you like tea-it's delicious. The only downside it comes in a plastic cup, but I get it, lessens the breakage of tea cups. The menu is quite extensive. Lots of options. We ordered the eggrolls, spicy fried chicken wings, and the papaya salad as appetizers. For the mains: the meatball and brisket pho & my husband ordered a build your own pho with oxtail & crunchy flank - crunchy flank is like beef jerky. Size options of pho comes in small, medium and large. We chose medium and it was a lot. The broth without adding the usual sauces, basil, lemon or jalapeños was excellent10/10! The broth was hands-down the best broth we have tasted since we've been eating pho. I can't explain how good and comforting it was. The food happy dance and the eye rolls definitely happened. A foodie spot for sure

It was empty when I was there, but I hope it gets busy on the weekend (was visiting) Staff - 5/5 - Friendly. I believe I met the owners, and the guy was really nice. Food/Drink - Ordered the following: - Pho (Chin Nam Gau) - 5/5 - This was brisket, flank and fatty flank. This was great, and so glad we got the large bowl. - Pho (Chin Nam Gan) - 5/5 - This was brisket and tendon. I always have to get a pho with tendon, and this hit the spot on a rainy day. Overall, I really enjoyed this place, even though I did a pick up and didn't sit and eat. I feel like bowls are bigger at the restaurant versus picking up. If I am back in the area, I would eat here again.
