We love the aromatic pho broth and the tendon. On our last visit I saw they added Bun Bo Hue to their menu. The BBH broth had a nice level of funk and seasoning. Disliked peanut sauce served cold. Customer service: Staff took and brought our orders, then left us alone to eat. The food was really good here. The pho broth is very flavorful, and the noodles perfectly cooked. I wish they gave a little more vegetables, but it was a decent amount. We also got the vermicelli bowl and rice with lemongrass pork, both of which has great flavor and were cooked well. My only real complaint was how long it took to get our food. We were dining in and i think it took at least 20 minutes to get our food and it was around 4pm. Yes, there were some take out orders, but this seemed quite long to me. Other than that, we had a good experience and would recommend this place. read more

I give this place a solid 4 stars because I like pho is was hot , I mean it came to the table like a dragon breath, the Steam from it was like the heat off the Sahara desert. Well just kidding but it was very hot coming to the table and there was stem from it, they have various sizes I got like always the combo but I leaning to get the meatballs . Getting pho is not finger food it's like a meal that you sit down and eat with utensils and get veggie to drop it this bowl, it's america other comfort food nothing beats it's on a cold day and on a hot day you are sweating and panting but you still eat it. This is not a fancy pho restraunt. This is a family run restraunt with food that my Vietnamese foster brother likes. We have always had great service. You will want to get there early because they fill up around six. Today, there were seven families dining, and only two were not Vietnamese. It is not a loud atmosphere. Some would think the decor needs to be updated. I was there for the food, not the seats and the decor. If you prefer the chain restaurants for pho, go there. Definitely a hidden gem! My husband and I were in the area and we were hungry, so we just googled the closest pho. We went in around 7 pm and no one was there, so we thought how are they so slow on a Thursday evening. As soon as we sat down, people started coming one by one and by 7:30, more than half the restaurant was full. Everyone seemed to be regulars there because the server knew exactly what they were ordering. We ordered pho and vermicelli bowl. Pho: cant remember exactly what he got but the broth had great flavor without being overloaded with sodium. Working in a healthcare field, you naturally try to eat less saltier if possible and this was flavorful without the sodium and grease overload. Vermicelli: ordered pork and eggroll (this is what I order from every restaurant when I want to order vermicelli bowl). The eggrolls were nice and plump without being burnt and drenched in oil. I asked for half the noodles with extra lettuce. The substitution was great. The pork was nicely marinated and not overwhelming with lemongrass or soy sauce. Again great flavors without overpowering with soy sauce. Glad I found this place, so I don't have to go all the way to ID for good bowl of pho. read more

Small little hole in the wall in the suburbs of Lynnwood. We were definitely happy with the service, portions, and taste. The spring rolls were ok, it was pretty full with iceberg cabbage and noodles. The broth was a little light for pho but if you're looking for a quick place to dine real quick, stop by! The large or xlarge bowl is definitely shareable for three and the lemongrass pork vermicelli was plenty flavorful. The fish sauce wasn't as sweet as the other places do it, but I didn't mind! I love this place! When I used to live in Edmonds I ate here sometimes twice a day now I will drive an hour to visit my favorite place from time to time. The young lady running the dinning room is very pleasant and remember what I ordered. The interior is standard with some plants and a big fish tank on display. I enjoy the pho broth here. It is just right and it's always hot. I love the combo pho and grilled pork chops, fresh rolls and egg rolls. Parking is plenty. Pho 84 is top competitor when it comes to delicious Vietnamese food in the lynnwood area! Located on 196th in a small strip mall, they have lots of indoor seating! The ambiance is nice, with hanging decorations and big paintings on the wall. The service is always excellent, they are fast, efficient, accommodating, and friendly! The food here is amazing! My personal favorite is the #73 which is a vermicelli bowl topped with lemon grass chicken, and egg roll. The portion sizes amazing too! They are consistent and it's delicious when I dine in and holds well for take out. This is one of my favorite local businesses to support and they deserve it! This place is less than 10 minutes from the house, but we were disappointed with the mediocre food here/Cody said it was bland. We Ordered: - Shrimp Spring Rolls - Pho with steak and meatballs - Pork Bun Vermicelli Bowl I like to get the egg roll fish sauce to dip my spring rolls in. I tried both the peanut sauce and fish sauce with my spring roll, and I was a fan of neither sauces. The peanut sauce comes out piping hot, but it didn't make the sauce taste better or anything. the fish sauce was more tart than I am used to. I got the pho, and the broth was very watered down/lacking in flavor. Cody did not like his bun bowl, the pork was just not that great tasting compared to other places we have tried. Overall, we probably won't come back here again and will opt for another pho spot. read more

Tried Pho 84 for the first time tonight. We have been searching for good Pho in Lynnwood and have been sorely disappointed with every other place that we've tried. Our search is over! Pho 84 met our expectations! We started with the Spring Rolls and the deep fried Chicken Egg rolls. The Chicken egg rolls appeared to be made in house as they were loaded with chicken, unlike other places where you can't find the chicken for all the other items used. Spring rolls were very fresh and the peanut sauce was just the right! Hubby and I each ordered the small bowl of Chicken Pho. They were served piping hot and stayed warm to the very end. I was very happy to find that the broth wasn't too salty (like every other place I've been too). All of the accoutrements on the side plate (Thai basil, bean sprouts, Jalapeño pepper slices, and lime wedges) were Very Fresh (again, impressive compared to the other places we have tried). My only mild downside is that chicken was a tiny bit tough, but it was shredded small enough to be able to handle without needing a knife to cut it. The rice vermicelli noodles held their own and never began to disintegrate (like at other spots). And finally, the people who waited on us (a gentleman and a lady) were both very nice and appreciative of our business. We are looking forward to our next visit. read more

I tried this place out before going Pescetarian and I enjoyed their steak/brisket pho! The prices will shock you at first because it looks cheap but don't let it deceive you. The portions are just as small (well for the small anyways). Not sure how big the large is but this is one of those cases you call "you get what you pay for". Today I tried the vegetarian pho and I noticed the word "sesame oil" in the description but didn't think much of it since I love sesame oil. However, as soon as I got my bowl, all I could smell was the oil. I took a sip and it was super salty and sesame oily... Also ordered fresh spring rolls with shrimp. I'd say it was kind of on the lacking side. Something about it wasn't as fulfilling. Maybe the noodles or lettuce they used. The peanut sauce is what I always look forward to but here it was too liquidy.. I like a thick almost paste like consistency.
