Lemon Grass Chicken with Rice Plate
    Jessica P.

2 stars because the BBH is actually pretty good, but nothing else is really worth getting considering the prices. We ordered lemon grass chicken, but there was literally just 4 small pieces of chicken. The entire dish was celery and veggies, it looked more like a stir fry to be honest. The rice plates are not served with any of the fixings typically served with vietnamese rice plates, just two scoops of rice. The crab rangoon we got was literally just mushy imitation crab, there was no cream cheese or any other flavor/ingredient, just dry mushy crab. Lastly, the pho dac biet came with 2 pieces of rare beef lol. Not to mention their menu is outdated apparently, but can't find anything online about the updated menu for ordering togo. Costs have definitely gone up, we had 3 entrees and two drinks come out to about $75.

Bún bo hue ($15.95) - spicy beef and pork noodle soup
    Clint B.

First stop after landing in Washington and was hungry for an early lunch. We arrived just as they opened. I don't know if the staff was expecting customers right away, but they were welcoming and friendly. My typical go-to meal at Vietnamese restaurants is bún with pork and egg rolls. The version here is pretty good. Plenty of pork, although a bit fatty, and the egg roll was crispy and delicious. The portion size was more than satisfying. My son enjoyed his bún bo hue. The spice level was perfect for him.

    Shrimp fried egg rolls

I encourage everyone to try the shrimp fried egg rolls. I get them every time. They were delicious. The lady who served me was super nice and sweet. food comes out very quick! the pho was phenomenal!

Fried egg rolls and large pho with steak, brisket, fatty flank.

Took a chance in this Pho restaurant and I'm glad I did. The menu was simple and had all of the items I was looking for. Ordered icd coffee with condensed milk, chá giò, and a large pho with steak, brisket, and fatty flank. I absolutely love the broth. The pho came with the standard bean sprouts, basil, and lime wedge. The chá giò (fried egg rolls) was still hot and fresh from the fryer. The ice coffee was already pre-made and nice sweet caffeinated drink to keep the food coma away. Overall, I'd definitely come back to try other items in the menu. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Egg noodles with wonton and added chili oil

I have been here many times since I live pretty close and the service is always inviting and the food is delicious. I'm not a pho eater but my wife is and she loves it. I enjoy the bah mi but today I felt like soup so I had the egg noodles with wonton and added chili oil for spice and boy did it hit the spot.

I saw Pho Hue while working at a nearby office, and decided to give it try while I had to wait. Wow. I enjoyed really GREAT vegetable & tofu pho (which is actually tough to find because most pho has some meat other than the broth within it.) Being pregnant I crave savory dishes and this Pho hit the spot, it was like my little lady was dancing as I ate!! If you're seeking a solid bowl of pho definitely try Pho Hue; I highly recommend!!!

P2. Pho, Steak, Brisket, fatty flank beef soup.

The best pho in town, I always get the P2 steak, brisket, and fatty flank pho noodles soup. If you like Vietnamese foods, you'll like pho hue in Lynnwood!

Overpriced for the rice dishes! Ordered to go food tonight, one w no rice, extra salad.. didn't receive extra salad and how can you say this quality your willing to serve to your customers?! Paying almost $20 per rice dish and they can't even give extra salad when I don't want rice?? Ohh and I can't forget the short rib dish! Omg. $20 for one full short rib and a quarter??? Wtf is that shit! I swear I didn't eat anything before the photo was taken, the salad was given to the non rice dish to make it actually a hearty meal. Other spots give you at least 2 full pieces! I didn't like this place years ago when it was an older guy running it but definitely won't be going back here for these prices and inconsistent portion/quality. Do yourself a favor and get your money's worth and go somewhere else. Ohh also before I forget. The salad they make it into like a wedge salad so how you supposed to eat it w chopsticks? Hold it like a taco? Why they lazy to cut lettuce? Also ordered the spring rolls and the peanut sauce was sooo cold! Not an appetizing pair when it seems like it came outta cooler. Had high hopes from reading reviews but fool me once shame on you, fool me twice... Nah never.

It has been one of the biggest things missing for me. Until we found Bistro 76! We came here on a Saturday around 11:30 and it was pretty slow--we were seated immediately. I ordered the classic eggs benedict and my husband ordered the corned beef hash. Both were amazing! They came out perfectly seasoned and super fresh! We really enjoyed the food. We also felt the food was very fairly priced for the quality/amount you get. I also ordered a vanilla oat milk latte which was very tasty! The women working here were so friendly and they wanted to say hi to our baby and chat a bit. Really great service overall. We got the Cuban pork hash, ham hash (from the specials menu), corned beef hash, and breakfast burrito. The potatoes were unique because they were neither crispy but they weren't mushy either and very nicely fluffy inside. Also very well seasoned! The eggs were perfectly done and oozy, the hollandaise sauce was light, more so added for extra creaminess. I'm not usually the biggest fan of hollandaise sauce as I find it sometimes too heavy but this was less rich which was nice. The breakfast burrito was tasty, nice amount of filling. I enjoyed the cubes of ham and how it wasn't overly salty. Definitely eat with hot sauce and some black pepper. I think it would get a little mundane if you were to eat the whole thing yourself but it's not bad. The banana bread donut isn't really a donut. More so a banana bread Bundt cake. It was nice, slightly sweet with what tasted like whipped browned butter.

I immediately decided that was where my last dinner at Lynnwood would be at. My boyfriend was already excited as he loves loco mocos and he had mentioned he was craving it. We walked over there and when we entered, we were greeted warmly before being lead to our seats with menus in our hands. My boyfriend got the build your own loco moco with the Hawaiian fried rice and katsu chicken while I got their Sunday only special, Hawaiian plate. The service here was very friendly and courteous, I feel like we could have been checked on more but other than the servers here were great! The music was chill island music which fit the interior and vibes. We were given our waters and waited a fair amount for our delicious and generous serving of food to arrive. My boyfriend said it wasn't the best loco moco he's had but he wants to give a try with the hamburger patty. I enjoyed most of my Hawaiian plate but the lomi salmon was extremely salty that I could barely enjoy it and the Kalua Pig was just okay. However, the Pork Lau Lau was absolutely tender and delicious. I loved it so much and am confused why I don't see it on their regular menu. We ended up getting dessert too as I needed something sweet after how salty the lomi was and the guava cake was not only huge but absolutely some of the best dessert that I've ever had. My boyfriend and I were absolutely pleased with this being our final meal in Lynnwood before heading home. We definitely want to come back to either location to try out their other offerings as well.

Hot Dogs in Cars, and Managers Named "Robert" : A Hate Story…read more I have been a regular patron of The Rusty Pelican since I moved to Washington, just shy of 5 years ago. I take visiting loved ones and friends here, and I constantly extol the service and food to anyone who needs a recommendation for a breakfast spot in Edmonds. NEVER. EVER. AGAIN. The manager, Robert, showed sickening behavior. My partner and I were having breakfast out in front, when we noticed that a fellow patron had left their dog in the car on the sidewalk in front of our table. It was 60 degrees out, and completely sunny. The windows were barely cracked, and the dog was panting and straining its neck towards the venting of the window. We called our waiter over, who was incredibly sympathetic and horrified. He went inside to find the customer. We waited a few minutes longer, and then asked a second server to follow up (they were equally horrified and sympathetic). The second server also did not return. My partner went inside to seek help. It was at this point that they encountered Robert. My partner came out a few minutes later and explained what was happening: he had been in the process of denigrating the employees feelings about the matter, telling them to stop bothering customers and (essentially) quit acting like babies. "This isn't Arizona!" he exclaimed. When my partner asked to speak with him and tell him the situation, he was horrendously rude and confrontational, escalating each polite rebuttal with an agitating escalation of rudeness and denigration. My partner calmly explained that in these conditions, a car's interior temperature can rise to above 80 degrees in well under 30 minutes, not including stifling humidity. These conditions can cause an animal to pass out and die within a similar timeframe. At this point, it had been well over 30 minutes since the patron had parked. During all of this, he refused to even address my partner or look them in the eyes. It was absolutely unacceptable, and ultimately embarrassing for a grown man in a PAID CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED POSITION to treat anyone like that. To be clear: the entire staff were incredible. They came out to check on the dog a few times, and tried their best to confront the owner of the dog, but a certain manager was preventing them. They also apologized profusely, and showed a grace that is exemplary and frequently unseen in today's world. We learned several good lessons today: 1. We should have just called animal control right off the bat. The owner isn't going to learn their lesson without legal intervention, or lethal endings. Thankfully they left after about 40 minutes, and the dog seemed to be conscious. 2. I am never going to eat here again, as long as Robert is employed. He should be left in a hot car out front to teach him some perspective. I wouldn't call animal control for him though. 3. I am going to spend the rest of my days around Edmonds telling anyone who will listen this story. To Robert, if you read this: I hope nothing but bad things happen to you forever, and your behavior is inexcusable. You do not deserve to be employed. To anyone above Robert in a position of management or ownership: fire him. Quickly, and unceremoniously. Do it in front of the kind employees, as a treat. They had a familiar air of exasperation with Robert's behavior, telling me this is normal. And under no circumstances should it ever be. Shame on you Robert.
