So this originally would have been three stars but here's why it's only one star. We stopped for dinner at 730. Service was really fast and server was very friendly. +1 We ordered shrimp fresh spring rolls and chicken wings as appetizers. Those came out really fast - my daughter really liked the rolls and the peanut sauce. A little skimpy on the ingredients but I chalked it up to us being the only people sitting down for a meal and that they close at 830pm. The wings were the star of the meal - crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Served with sweet chili sauce. +1 My daughter had the kids pho and we were able to sub meatballs for round eye steak. The server was really accommodating and I really appreciated that. The kids pho meal also comes with a soft drink and she had lemonade. +1 Here's the problem of the experience. I ordered the black tiger shrimp stir fry with vermicelli. I know exactly what that type of shrimp looks like and tastes like as it's very specific and unique. See picture for what I got instead. Tastes and looks like your medium size frozen shrimp from Safeway or Fred Meyer. I brought this up to the server and he said he would talk to the chef. Came back and double downed and said that they were black tiger shrimp but smaller size - I raised my eyebrows so high at that and he was quick to offer a discount. Immediately gave me the receipt after to pay. I guess they didn't want to deal with being accountable using false ingredients and charging customers premium prices. Also, their "special sauce" for this dish is just the same sweet chili sauce for the wings. -2 Really disappointed as this was us branching out and trying something new in the area. read more

The devil is in the details as the Hors d'oeuvres arrived over salted and unfortunately the silverware and plates were dirty. Under further review the glasses still had lipstick on them and the surrounding booths had splashes of food residue on walls and booth. I visited this restaurant on October 19, 2025 and experienced fraudulent charges. The prices on the receipt were consistently higher than what was listed on the menu--for example, an item listed as $14.99 was charged $15.59, and this happened with every item I ordered. But there was a major issue with tips. I signed the receipt for a $6 tip with a total of $69.45, but later my credit card was charged $73.45, effectively almost doubling the tip. When I called to resolve the issue, the staff refused to refund me unless I drove back to show the receipt (but they took signed recipt), claiming they destroy receipts immediately. But I have clear photos of the receipt showing the discrepancy. They also falsely claimed they cannot process credit card refunds. This is fraudulent behavior, and I strongly caution others to be careful when ordering here. read more

Absolutely abysmal bahn mi sandwich comprised of 5 pieces of fried tofu, a scant smattering of shredded lettuce and carrot amounting to approximately 1 Tablespoon, if that. First time stopping at the restaurant. Plenty of parking and indoor seating. Ordered chicken bahn mi to-go. They give you so much chicken in the sandwich, and I feel the bread was a bit chewier than other baguettes that I have had for bahn mi, but I was fine with it. The only thing I would have changed, is to have a bit less chicken and more pickled veggies and cilantro. I feel the sandwich needed more balance with the freshness of more pickled radish and carrots. There was ample cucumber on it. Definitely get sweet chili sauce to go with the taro fries. read more

I don't know where some of these people are eating. I live right down the street and this is the best pho broth I've ever had. The basil and bean sprouts are always fresh, the spring rolls have all the ingredients, nothing is ever burned. Things that are cold are supposed to be cold and hot that are supposed to be hot. I do have to say the rest of the menu isn't always up to the standards of the pho. I've had some things that weren't to my liking, but that's more a matter of my taste than badly prepared food. read more

Pho is one of the things I didn't think I liked because I hadn't found a place I was in love with. That changed during my time in California, so coming up to this area I was worried I wouldn't find a spot to replace it, lucky for me I got it on the first try. What the Pho is a classier place with a bar and plenty of space. All of the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly, constantly coming to check on us and making sure we were comfortable with chopsticks. Came here because there was a coupon from our QFC receipt. Ordered pork banh mi w/taro fries ($10.50) and short ribs ($23.50, overpriced). Banh mi was decent: pork was tasty, French roll was slightly soft yet toasty and warm. Things that could've been better: forgot jalapenos on the banh mi, skimped on the picked veggies, skimped on the taro fries which apparently had absolutely no salt. Short ribs were tasty but it's marinated grilled meat, pretty hard to mess up. That said, it was way overpriced I think. Overall, maybe I should've tried the pho instead... but this experience felt like they're really just phoning it in. A paltry serving of fries without salt? Banh mi without jalapenos? Everything needs improvement! My hubby and I went to try their lunch because we were craving pho and thought we would give this place a shot. The menu (every single one of them) scattered at every empty table looked like they went through the wash and dried. It was paper so not sure how a restaurant can put crinkled up paper menus and ours had food on them! We wee willing to give them the benefit of doubt but the water came out and the glass still had lipstick imprints on them (ick). That grossed me out so I told my hubby I was uncomfortable staying and eating their food. They did bring the fried egg rolls that lacked flavor and their dipping sauce was literally just fish sauce. The fresh shrimp spring rolls was even more dismal. No thai basil or beansprouts, just shrimp and lettuce. The booth was dirty and they had stains on tables etc. We will never go back and with so many other pho places, I would suggest not dining here. My wife and I had a relaxing lunch here on Sunday. Low key, not too crowded. The banh mi sandwich was something unique: they toast the bread (first place I've been that does this) and serve the sandwich with taro fries on the side. Hidden Fees and Small Portions - Beware of Unexpected Charges! First, while the prices here are higher than most pho places, the portion sizes are noticeably smaller--roughly 70% of what you'd get elsewhere. I wouldn't normally complain about that, but what really shocked me was when we received the bill. They charged us more than the prices listed on the menu, without any prior notice! I understand adding a 20% gratuity for parties of six or more (as noted on their menu), but what I don't understand is the hidden 3% charge that everyone is forced to pay (we only two people was there). This extra charge wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu, and we only found out when it was tacked onto our bill. Transparency is important, and this experience left a sour taste. If you order take-out, make sure to take a picture of the signed receipt that the restaurant keeps. They add more to their tip. It's a good thing I check my credit card transactions often, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed, which they probably expect most folks to do. This is the 3rd time it's happened to me. When I went to get a refund, the guy just handed me my money and walked away without apologizing, which leads me to believe they do this often and weren't expecting to be caught. What the Pho? Yeah, that's what I thought too after my experience here. The space is okay, but they obviously need to spend a little bit on upkeep and cleaning. The pho broth is overpowered by onions. Other than that flavor, it seems watered down. The normal pho flavors are there under the onion, but they are weak. I did not finish my broth, and that's always an indicator to me of less than stellar pho broth. I had the Pho Tai Gan, eye round and soft tendon--well, it was SUPPOSED to be soft tendon. I have never seen such large and tough pieces of tendon in pho. No finesse in preparation. No care. Just big, tough chunks. Eeew. Minus a star (or more) = 3 The service is horrific. Terrible. Non-accommodating. Rude. Ignore you. Came in at 12:45 on a weekday. There were three booths, five four tops, six two tops, and one eight top available. I asked for a booth. Was told I could not have one because "we are in the middle of our rush hour, and we have to keep the booths for bigger parties." Read, your one-person business is not worth caring about. When I left at 1:30, one booth was still empty. The others had parties of two seated in them. None of the available four tops were used. Only two of the two tops were used. The eight top was not used. And I could not sit in a booth again for what reason? Pure nonsense and rudeness. Minus a star = 2 Took from 12:45 to 12:50 to be greeted by a server after being seated. Menu didn't come for another three minutes. Then I didn't see the server again for another five minutes. So, it was almost 1:00 before I ordered. Food came out in about ten minutes, but then the server disappeared. Never checked back. Never asked if everything was okay. And I had to flag them down to get my check and then again to get them to take the payment. Minus another star (or more) = 1. This is loooooong!... We have had food from here many times, both dine in and take out. We've never had an issue until tonight. We placed an online order for phó. We clicked on the phó item and a drop menu appeared. We clicked on a couple of the options (size, no peanuts and tai on the side). We assumed that if you click on an option that appears on the drop menu of the phó that we wanted, that we would get that option item. However, it was not in the bag when we got home. We called in to let them know. First, the person that answered wanted me to call back in 15 minutes. Unacceptable. When we proceeded to inform them of the issue, (weren't going to wait), he said that the phó we ordered doesn't come with that option item. We said that we understood that and that's why we ordered it on the side. He continued to say that it doesn't come as an option, so we said that it is an option on the drop menu. Then he insisted on saying that what we wanted isn't part of the type of phó that we ordered. We reiterated that we know it's not part of the dish so that's why we ordered it as an addition on the side. We went back and forth a couple of more times. The guy went on to say that the drop menu appears on all of the dishes even if it isn't actually an item offered. He asked if we understood. We said yes but that he needed to understand that if these item options appear when you click on an item, then we, the customer assume that it's available to order, especially when it appears in the cart, as well as on the receipt. His response was that they prefer people to call in their order instead of order online. Our reply back is not to offer online ordering if doing so is not transparent. At some point within the back and forth, the guy also said something about people just click on and check random items in the drop menu. That has nothing to do with us, as we clicked on 3 very specific options. At the end, we asked if we could go back in to get the additional item that we ordered. He said yes, but he has no time and had to go, then hung up. Rude af!!! This is likely the last time we patron this place. read more

Another pho restaurant, still looking for that elusive tasty broth. It's a nice little restaurant, clean, with a nice ambiance. I was seated quickly for lunch. As I typically find in Vietnamese restaurants, no napkins on the table -- you get 1 with your meal, so be careful not to spill -- but what makes it different is the full bar. I didn't take advantage of that so can't comment, but it definitely caught my eye. I ordered my regular bowl of pho and it was delivered to my table rather quickly. It was good, but lacked the depth of flavor that I always look for. I had a conversation with the chef at another pho restaurant and he told me that the longer the broth is simmered, the better the flavor. He said he simmers his broth for 4 days. This broth tasted watery, simmered maybe 4 hours. I thought it was kind of shy on the noodles as well. The service was lackluster, once the food (and bubble tea) was delivered I didn't see the server again until I was ready to leave. Terrible restaurant. Absolute rip off. I'm sorry to say but $4 for a 10oz tree top apple juice? Also the amount of food for the price is atrocious. I ordered chicken and rice place. Got a sad flatten half of 1 chicken breast. Yes half of one chicken breast. It looked like bacon. And 2 slices of cucumber and a few pickled veggies. A heaping bowl of rice (since that's cheap). I'm so hungry. My kid ordered the kids pho and it was horrible small. This is nothing like the what the pho at the Bellevue mall. Stay away from this place. My meal was $20 and the kids pho was $13.
