    B07 so good and delicious

Love my B07 bowl. It is always delicious. I can't complain about the food or service. They are amazing. I only have one suggestion is to clean the sauce area more which is one at each table.

I was having a pho craving today so I decided to try Pho America for takeout. I ordered the rare steak pho and it was a good size and the meat was nice and tender. All the fixings came packed up in a bag with sauces and lime. I thought the flavor was good and definitely generous on the noodles. The inside of the restaurant wasn't anything fancy and could probably use a little more cleaning but some of the best pho places I've been to have been a little questionable haha. Next time I go I'll try the Eggrolls, Which surprisingly cost almost as much as the pho.

Inedible rare steak pho with a side of chicken.

Pho America had a BOGO deal for their rare steak pho on Ubereats so I knew I had to give this place a shot. I also ordered a few sides of chili oil as well as a side of chicken for myself. Once the order arrived, I re-heated my broth and was ready to dig in. After the first few bites I pushed my plate away and felt super underwhelmed with my dish. The broth was greasy and bland. The chicken was unappetizing and was nearly inedible as it consisted of mostly chewy tendons. My mom got the other soup that came with the promotion and she didn't eat her pho either as she said it didn't taste good. Overall, "you get what you pay for" has never made more sense to me. I personally wouldn't recommend Pho America to anyone.

Came here on a Sunday around 4pm. Was seated quickly. And order was taken quickly. Only thing it was kinda warm inside. Ordered the brisket pho it was a good size and broth was good. Got the Thai tea with boba. Boba was chewy and drink was sweet. The mango lemonade was great a mix of tangy and sweet. But refreshing. Al in all, everything came hot and in order so good to try out.

God Bless America & God Bless Pho America! If you want some good authentic Vietnamese pho, check out this place! I was hung over one day and what better way to cure a hangover? Pho! The broth is extremely delicious and authentic. I got a rare steak pho w/ meatballs, tendon, and flanks. What also impressed me the most was their tendons. Soft, delicious, and melts in your mouth. I got a regular size pho and should have gotten a big bowl, smh. Don't make the same mistake as I did and get yourself the biggest bowl they got. You won't regret it! Customer service is excellent and the reason I said that is because I order an ice tea and when I finished with the ice tea, the owner greeted and asked if I wanted a refill. I said please and got it togo without charge. The ambiance was nice! A great place to take someone out for pho.

We pass by here all the time when coming from Signal Hill/Bixby Knolls back to DTLB, but truth be told, the name kinda turned me off (reminded me of a mall food court 'Asian' fast food shop with non-Asian workers)...but nope, Pho America is the real deal....serving up a good, piping bowl of beef pho. They have their own dedicated parking lot (with lockable gates), and the standalone building has plenty of indoor seating. There were already quite a few people dining in, when I stopped by around 11 on a Monday. I noticed that there was quite a few take-out and delivery orders as well, so good sign for the freshness of the ingredients. I was led to my seat, and placed an order for the combination pho, size large ($15). The hostess/waitress was attentive, and brought out a glass of water with lemon pretty quickly, along with the pho accompaniments that everyone is accustomed (really fresh bean sprouts, thai basil, jalapeno slices, and two lime wedges). Everything was super fresh, obviously just washed and sprinkled with water to keep vibrant. Strangely, a lot of pho places around this hot bed of Pho restaurants, serve mediocre, browned herbs. Not here...this was great, and a good clue for the quality of the rest of the meal. The steaming bowl came out a bit after, delivered directly from the kitchen by someone else (probably the gentleman who put the dish together). The bowl wasn't overly large, and everything was submerged under the piping hot broth (except for the sliced white onions and cilantro floating)...noticed immediately that it was pretty oily (which usually isn't a good thing for me). Took my first sip, acknowledged that it didn't need any more sauce just some herbs and fresh lime juice which I added. Each table already has utensils at each table, including forks if that is what you need. The noodles were clumped at the bottom, but a couple of twirls with one chopstick, then letting it sit for about a minute or so, then I really dug in. And it really came together...none of the separate ingredients stood out individually, but together, it ended up making a really, really good bowl of pho. It came with the requisite meats (really enjoyed the fatty brisket, and small amount of tripe....the rare steak wasn't great, but the tendon and beef balls were solid). By the time I was finished with the noodle, I still had broth left so asked for an extra order of noodles ($3 or so)...which was soon delivered in its own broth. I devoured that too. I paid at the front...they take credit card but offer a small cash discount. In/out in 40 minutes...still a little hungry, but happy that I had been wrong about the name and could add another good pho place to my list of rotating noodle shops.

I ordered the veggie pho They do have veggie broth how ever it was bland. They only offer fried tofu and I didn't like the consistency of it... the food came out fast. Quick service. The ambiance made it seem authentic. For the 15 bucks I was disappointed.

One of my favorite Pho restaurants. Clean, with a pleasant atmosphere. Also, it's easy to get the servers attention, they are always looking around. I usually get veggie pho, but my favorite thing to order is the Beef Banh Mi sandwich ~ best I've ever had. Give it a try!

Our soup wasn't hot. It took a long for our red meat to fully cook into our soup. I looked over the other table and their soups were steaming hot. I've been here before the pandemic and their food used to be great. The man who had an unpleasant behavior. I tried tipping 20%. The tip amount was set higher on his handheld POS system. When I changed it, he smacked his lips and got upset. I won't be returning.

The pho was good and consistent the last two times I tried it. They add a lot of staranise and I like that.

The staff always seem annoyed and anxious to kick customers out near closing. Regardless, I'll still keep coming back as it's worth dealing with in exchange for everything else being good. When it comes to thai food, I usually order the basics like pad thai and pad see ew. Both dishes were rich in flavor, perfect savory vs sweet, and not too greasy. I have a bit of a sensitive stomach when it comes to greasy food but their food satisfied my palate! The atmosphere feels rushed rather than relaxing, and the staff seemed eager to turn tables over as quickly as possible. Between the chaotic parking situation and feeling rushed through the meal, it took away from what could have been a great dining experience. Good food, but the atmosphere and service style completely turned me off from wanting to come back.

Walk inside and--on this Saturday, January 3rd--it's still decorated for Christmas, which somehow adds to the cozy, unpretentious vibe. It's around 2:30 p.m. and the place is packed, which is always a great sign. We ordered the chicken pho with ginger sauce and the brisket & rare steak pho. You get the classic sides--lime, bean sprouts, basil--and we also added the crispy egg rolls, which came out hot and crunchy with a satisfying bite. The pho arrived piping hot, deeply aromatic, and comforting in that way only a well-made broth can be. They give you chopsticks for the noodles and a large spoon for the soup--exactly how it should be. The portions are generous, especially for the price. Around $12 gets you a big, steaming bowl that feels like a full meal, not a tease. The broth is clean, rich, and balanced--not greasy, not salty--perfect for a cold, rainy Long Beach day on the Cambodia side of town. I took my time with it, savoring all the layers of flavor, especially after adding sriracha and hoisin (which is absolutely the move here). The beef was tender, the rare steak cooked perfectly in the hot broth, and the noodles held up all the way through. What really stood out was the atmosphere. There's mellow, calming music playing in the background that makes the whole lunch experience feel peaceful and grounding--no rush, no noise chaos, just people enjoying good food. Come hungry. They give you a lot of food, and it's the kind of meal that's hard to stop eating even when you're full. Pho 881 delivers comfort, consistency, and value--exactly what you want from a neighborhood pho spot.

I walked in, found a table, sat alone for 5 min waiting for someone to bring me a menu....i had to go to the counter and ring the bell. Turns out, the owner was sitting there the whole time looking at his phone and didn't even hear me come in. Got the combo. Another guy came out to serve it with no gloves on and half a finger in my soup bowl. Not to mention, the soup bowl was quite dirty on the outside. The basil leaves had black spots on them and there was nothing I could write home about this soup, pho or beef bits. It's SoCal baby! There is so much Pho competition here. Don't believe the self titled (looking for free food) Influencers. I would not step in this joint ever again. 0/10 PASS.

Still worth the drive to Long Beach to get our fill of very good Cambodian food that I've yet to find up north. Parking was still a challenge and I dropped the family in front of the restaurant first so they can join the waitlist. This time I could only find a spot a few blocks away but by the time I walked back to the restaurant, the family got seated. The menu still had the same great options and prices but starting June 1st prices will be increasing. Definitely understandable in this inflationary environment. My favorite every time has been the loat cha with chicken such that the family knows never to ask what am I getting. We've tried the rest of the menu but the family has standardized on their noodle soups or rice porridge bowls. You can count on lots of ingredients, choices of noodles and rich tasting broths. The cha quai (bread stick) must also be ordered as the perfect pairing for dipping. We also ordered the nom sa-kieu (like a fried meat empananda) again and will continue.
