Federal Blvd is the spot for Pho. There are numerous Pho restaurants from which to choose. We are repeat visitors to 555. Cream cheese wonton were a good choice for an app but pretty average. Pho is decent with flavorful broth before even adding condiments. Jackfruit and honey dew boba teas were delicious. But again, nothing exceptional. Staff is attentive and professional. We'd go back again but not with high expectations of having a 5-star experience. read more

Gosh, after our night nation 5k, my friends and I were starving....lol We decided to hit up our favorite after hours place to eat. This place is casual and is always busy after hours, meaning they're open til like 3 or 4 am. Seems like everyone knows this place after a fun night and gets hungry. This place has not disappointed me yet. Been here way too many times during their after hours and the food is always so good, filling, and flavorful. It's great to know that there are places like this still open this late. This is my go to spot on a late and fun night. I will definitely be back again. read more

I love Pho 79. To put it in terms of adult beverages. If Pho 79 was a House Margarita (which I am usually perfectly content with) then Pho 555 is the Cadillac. As we drove around looking for Pho 1 a couple weeks back on the Strip, we saw the bright hot pink and yellow lights gleaming at us from a sign that read: Pho 555. We laughed for several reasons as our first impression of this place was not very lovely. It was cheesy and we were honestly frightened to dine at such a place. Fast forward a couple weeks, it's cold out and I'm yelping away for something warm to eat . So I yelp Pho 555 as the sign is still vivid in my mind and ingrained in my brain. Last night, we dared ourselves to do the 555. So glad we did as it is now our favorite house of pho. Not only do they serve pho but they serve rice dishes and their Vietnamese Egg Rolls are the finest. The perfect dinner for 2: * Vietnamese Eggrolls * Order 2 medium bowls of pho ( I recommend #13 with marinated steak/ served slightly rare) *The Combo Rice Plate (which includes more Eggrolls, grilled seasoned sliced beef, pork and butterflied shrimp) I'm glad we ordered the combo plate as we will have something to snack on today at lunch and we will be able to reminisce the lovely pho that we experience last night. The restaurant is clean and our server was super friendly. The only downside is that they do not servce alcohol which I am a big fan of but they still deserve 5 stars. That's top notch in my book. Side note: My friend Nobu-san brought up a good point. Why is it called Pho 555? I asked the owner/server and he said it was his lucky number! What I love about this place is that it's one of the best place for 3 AM food. But I often find the meat in my soup to be much and chewy. Yet if you're worried about portion size... you don't have to here. There's plenty of room, and it's unlikely you'll be waiting long. The bathrooms may be butt-cold, but the soup will warm you up. As for the chewy meat, I always try to avoid that by ordering the steak on the side. The only thing is that you have to quickly add it in to prevent it from being raw. I've been here a few more times for latenight pho, and this place is well on it's way to a five-star and a designation as 'Official Hangout'. One more great experience and this place is locked-in. Their salty lemonade soda is running through my veins as thickly as the vietnamese coffee. It satisfies on a hot day, and it just makes you feel good to the tips of your toes. Their pho is great. And they give you culantro. I loves me some culantro. That rates. Their late-night hours help me out alot, and I've been here at 1am several times over the past few weeks. I kinda feel bad giving this place only 3 stars because the 2B grilled pork noodle bowl is my favorite dish here (only been here 2 times), but today I was kinda put off because the menu I grabbed from this place a year or two ago has this bowl priced at $6.95 and I remember the first time I was here thinking, wow, this is a lot of great tasting food for a great price, but today when I called in an order to pick up, the same dish rang up at $9.95! When I asked to see their menu, the cashier was hesitant to show it to me and when he finally did hand it to me, the same 2B pork bowl that I ordered was $6.95 on the menu. He said it was an outdated menu. Ok, now had I known that the same noodle bowl with the exact same ingredients would go up $3.00, I would've walked across the parking lot for the same dish for a lot less money. I will say, the food is tasty and plentiful, but is it worth $3.00 more than all the hundreds of Pho places on Federal . . . I don't think so. read more

I have loved this pho place for years. I especially enjoy the late hours they stay open on the weekends. The food and service is fantastic. Hint.... There is an Asian dance club in the same parking lot and when it closes the beautiful Asian girls hit Pho 555 for midnight snacks. Wow, the eye candy is breath taking. read more

I've always passed by here because of eating at star kitchen and I've always wanted to try it. Broth comes out nice and out, and meat portion is right on. The meat is cooked just right and the noodles are also really good . Overall I would say it's good for the price and portion and I'm glad I finally got to try it. I spent New Year's Day here!! Or should I really admit that... They are one of the few pho places that actually stay open late (up to 3am) and for that I am very grateful, favorite pho place or not. I will say on New Year's Day this place was pretty packed but they were still able to seat our party of six pretty quickly. The broth here is actually decent. I would say it is my third choice overall for pho and first-choice for late-night pho (there is another place open late but I don't even want to mention it. Just that bad.). My main qualm is that they put something in the pho my stomach doesn't always appreciate (Too much spice? Something umami? MSG?) and so for that I can't really come here too often. read more

Not a big fan of Pho, but my lovie is. I like the broth and noodles, usually get the meat on the side and take it home for another meal. There are so many pho places these days, especially along Federal Blvd. But as Pho goes, this is a good one. The Pho comes with the typical accompaniments, onions, basil, jalapenos, and bean sprouts, but at 555 you get huge portions of each, and all fresh. I ordered from here through DoorDash, and have not actually gone to the establishment. I ordered the shrimp balls appetizer and the combination vermicelli bowl. The shrimp balls were great, came skewered and was accompanied by a sauce that seemed two squirts hoisin sauce to 4 squirts sriracha. I would have really liked those separate as I am a weenie when it comes to spicy things. My bowl is where things really fell apart. I ordered a combo bowl, which came with shrimp, chicken, pork, and beef slices. I only had one medium sized shrimp in my portion, but the other meats were plentiful and well seasoned and cooked. The whole thing was served over italian style spaghetti, not rice vermicelli noodles and really affected the taste. It was rather off putting to be honest. Based on this order alone I wouldn't recommend Pho 555 or order from them again. read more

The best Pho in person. But the takeout was a mess. We've been going here for the past couple years and we love it. But our take out experience was bad. We tried take out due to covid. The appetizers were all good (every spring roll and cheese wontons). However, we ordered 3 pho bowls. Filet Mignon, chicken and vegetable with tofu. We ended up getting three big containers of beef stew. There was no option for the type of stock/soup when ordering take out through Postmates. Restaurant has no website with direct delivery. In person, you can get vegetable stock. Which is why we would come here. So vegans and vegetarians be aware. The pho soups were unlabeled so we had to call to find out that they were beef stock. Also, the filet mignon was served in a plastic bag raw. The one person who was using the beef stock/soup was unable to cook their filet mignon in the stock/soup because it was cold by the time we got home and found out all the stock/soup was beef over the phone. So in the end, it was pretty expensive for raw filet mignon in cold beef stock. And we had to make our own vegetable stock for the veggie/tofu and chicken pho. Absolutely not worth it. We were at least glad we didn't eat inside because it was pretty crowded. Denver just relaxed the quarantine rules, so it was a full house for a Saturday. We will probably go back once Covid is over. I gave it a shot, because I've found that the outside cleanliness or statuus of a small place isn't necessarily reflective of the inside. When I walked in, the place looked decent. I was immediately greeted and sat, but unfortunately sat at a dirty table with food remnants on the table too and seats. The food was the worst pho I've ever had, which is strange to me because I'm literally always satisfied with the pho. The summer rolls were nice and freshly made, but the peanut sauce was so watered down I couldn't use it-- for me, this made the summer (spring) rolls bad because they need a sauce for flavor. The soup came out and was huge and very hot, which was appreciated Unfortunately, the soup tasted really weird and immediately made me fear I would get sick from this. In the end, this was just not good and there's plenty of other pho spots around town that are far better. Update: My daughter and I were vomiting in the Caaba by the time we pulled into target, which was our next stop from this place. read more

First pho spot I tried and I must say it's very good. I got a medium combo and it was only 7.50 for that price we can bearly get a small in seattle. The food was fast and very prompt. Rich broth, complex, just enough oil on the spoon to remind me that there were bones and marrow bubbling for a long time making this sweet, blessed pho. Lots of tender tendon, noodles and steak. My pho-riend *sorry, sorry, sorry* had the chicken and veggie pho combo. It was wasn't on the menu but the owner was more than happy to give her exactly what she really wanted. Veggie plate was just enough not to waste, the usual table condiments and our water glasses were never even near half empty. Mmmmm. When it's so cold outside that you think your jaw is going to chatter off your face, and when your bones are chilled to the point of no return, this is when you should go to Pho 555. Their servings of Pho is like your grandma wrapping a warm blanket around you and telling you everything will be alright. The richness and complexity of their broth is amazing. Even if you order a run-of-the-mill brisket, the broth speaks to you of meats and bones so flavorful that it may make you dare to order some tendons or tripe to see what the depths of that broth could hold. It's easy to make good Pho, but it's difficult to make GREAT Pho. Pho 555 certainly does the trick. Caveat: If you want a good vermicelli bowl, look elsewhere. This place does Pho, and does it very well. Bonus: Awesome fish tank with a cool sucker fish will keep you entertained in the two minutes it takes you to order and receive your food. read more

This is a hard review because pho 95 is pretty much next door and I have to say that pho 95 is by far the best pho I've had in Denver. 555's broth is very good. I know some people say it's the best. They had delicious Vietnamese egg rolls complemented by pho-nominal fish sauce (see what I did there?) The restaurant was clean and the staff was quick and friendly. Yeah, maybe I spoke too soon with my first review. My boyfriend and I have only ever ordered pho here, so today I thought I'd try the combo noodle bowl, since I loved that over at Pho 95. And, we ordered the "vegetables and tofu spring rolls". When the spring rolls arrived, they were terribly disappointing. For one thing, if I read "vegetables", I expect vegetables, plural. Second, if you're going to only include one type of vegetable, I don't think that iceburg lettuce cuts it. That is what they consider to be "vegetables and tofu". Tasteless, dried tofu with a sprig of iceburg lettuce. Nothing else. So, we each took a bite and realized that these things were pretty awful and completely tasteless. We set them aside to send back, because, honestly, I was pretty excited over the idea of vegetable spring rolls and was slightly insulted that someone thought this was that. Then, my combo noodle bowl came out. I immediately noticed that there was about half the meat on it that comes on the combo noodle bowl at Pho 95. But, whatever, no big deal there. I took a bite of the beef and immediately had to spit it out. It was all gristle. No big deal, again, that was just one piece. But, it wasn't. Before I had been able to swallow even a single, whole bite, I had a pile of half-chewed meat on a napkin, because every bite was full of hard gristle. Someone finally came by the table (I assume the manager or owner) and asked how everything was. I politely explained that all of my meat was really tough and gestured to my collection of unchewables. He asked if I wanted them to cook it more, and I said no, thanks. Sorry, but cooking this meat more wasn't going to help. It was already pretty well done. I had hardly touched the bowl, mind you, and everything I had tasted had been spit out. I also told him how the spring rolls were really misrepresented on the menu, seeing as how there weren't exactly "vegetables" in them. He said, "Oh, yes, lettuce." SERIOUSLY? After attempting repeatedly to get me to order something else (I declined), he took my bowl away and told me they weren't going to charge me for it (though, it was told to me like they were doing me a favor). The spring rolls were left on the table, and we were charged for them. Now, that pissed me off, not going to lie, but whatever. What really topped off the whole experience, though, was how the woman who rang us up explained to my boyfriend that my bowl was "cooked perfectly" and insinuated that I was full of crap. So. We paid for the awful spring rolls. But, that will be the last time, because we won't be back. I don't need to be told that the food you put out was perfect and I just don't realize it. This is my favorite pho restaurant in Denver. The broth is consistant and flavorful, and the service is friendly. Order the BBQ shrimp spring rolls. They aren't listed on the menu, but are so much tastier than the regular shrimp and pork spring rolls. I am a habitual "pho tai with a side of extra beef" orderer, but they give you a good amount of beef to start with. I don't even really need the extra. The vietnamese coffee is delish, as is the thai iced tea. I'll tell ya, there are few things that soothes you like a hot bowl of pho after going out. Holy bajesus it's like an Asian afterhours party when you hit this place at 2:30 in the morning. But good god if it doesn't also doesn't mean there aren't that many people that are still looking for someone to hook up with for the night. And yes, it can get crowded to the point where you have rub a dub to make your way through to an empty table, but at least you aren't waiting in a long ass line like at Pete's for a burrito. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 4 stars was that they kinda jip ya on the content. I ordered a medium meatball pho and I literally could have downed all the noodles in one giant slurp if I wanted to. A big dude might have to order a large with extra noodles to get satisfied, but I guess if you're clubbin then they expect you to eat only little bits and pieces of food. Not a bad broth, though you could tell that they didn't make enough and had to add water to the stock. Oh yeah they also offer congee which is a good alternative to pho. Great service!!! They really take care of you here. I'm particular on my pho broth. I don't like it greasy, oily or salty. 555 does NOT have any of those traits in their broth. Their broth is full flavorful and clean. Most places I go they usually skimp on all the seafood, in seafood pho, no matter what size.
