I've been to Tori Tomo before, and I'm really happy that Phed Phed has opened right next door and that the two spaces are now connected, it's such a fun concept. Tori Tomo offers Japanese ramen with some Chinese-inspired flavors and dishes, while Phed Phed focuses on Thai cuisine. What I love most is that you can order from Tori Tomo's menu while sitting at Phed Phed, which gives you a lot more variety in one visit. I went for lunch today with my husband. With just the two of us, we couldn't try too many items, but the menu selection looks great. We started with the fried tofu, which was nicely crunchy, and the sweet peanut sauce paired really well. I also appreciated the portion size and price for appetizers. For my entrée, I ordered the drunken noodles. Flat noodles can be tricky to get right, but these were cooked perfectly. I also loved the spice level, it definitely lived up to the five chili pepper rating on the menu. As someone who enjoys spicy food, this was exactly what I was hoping for. Servers were friendly too. It's a great setup if you're dining with a group or just want to mix and match different cuisines. Definitely a unique and enjoyable dining experience. I'll be back to try more dishes!

I have been so excited to eat at Phed Phed! I love Wara Wara so I knew it would be great! What I didn't know was that you can also order from Tori tomo next door!!! Made it even better. The inside of the restaurant is super clean and clean. They did a really great job decorating the restaurant and with the layout. They also have tons of vegan, veg, and gluten free options plus tons of meat and seafood. Food for everyone! My friend and I tried this hibiscus lemonade, fried tofu, chive cubes, pad Thai, mango fried rice, and spicy eggplant. I can't wait to go back and try the curry dishes, khao soi, and more noodle dishes! Our server was also very attentive and kind!

Masman curry with chicken

A brand new Thai next to Tori Tomo. Now the two restaurants, Tori Tomo and Phed Phed are sharing the space. This is an awesome idea. We can have Thai and Japanese together at the same table. You can sit either restaurant, and get food from both side at the same table. The wait staff will offer menus from both restaurants. How ingenious! Small but good selection of draft beer including my favorite, Jasmine Pilsner. My wife had a masman curry with chicken. Fragrant, with distinct cinnamon, honey and yellow curry. Smallish portion but actually it was a perfect size. Now, we can come here and not have to decide if we all want ramen or Thai. A happy ending. We will be back again for sure.

We were looking for a place to have cocktails before a show and stumble upon this bar…read more The place was small but had a great ambiance. Our server was attentive and gave us great suggestions. I tried four cocktails some from their new menu and some of their past drinks, they were all great. My favorite was the Passion Fruit Martini and the Strawberry , the Sumac Paloma was great. The most unique drink was the Saffron & Black Lime Daiquiri, a little savority. My least favorite but it was interesting to try.

Was in the area for a show at the Vets and this was in walking distance (about 10-12 minutes). I…read morefound it beforehand and made sure to make a reservation a few days early! THE FOOD -We ordered the dip trio, each of them was delicious, my favorite was the lemon hummus. -the ratio of chips to dip was not good and when we asked for more chips it was a $5 charge we weren't told about. Since it took a bit to get the second round of chips we had to leave most of them and the dip to get to our show on time which was a bummer. THE DRINKS -delicious!!! Great, accurate descriptions -I tried the parsley one and it was so refreshing and perfectly herby. I've told everyone about it! -I also tried the apple anise which is accurately a mix of both apple and anise flavors! I forgot I don't like anise much so it wasn't my favorite but again still accurate and well made. THE SERVICE -very kind server! He was knowledgeable when I had some questions about the drink options -also accommodating for when it's possible to based on drink recipes THE ATMOSPHERE -though not a speakeasy that was the feel of it -dark and intimate -fun decor , small interior so MAKE A RESERVATION Overall, I will definitely be going back when I'm in PVD!!!! Loved our drinks and had such a nice time. Sorry forgot pics of the drinks but I think the menu changes pretty often anyway so that's fine

TLDR: Ambience: 10/10…read moreFood: 7.5/10 --OPTIONS FOR EVERYONE! DRINK: 10/10 Friend and I needed a place to go after a community event. A lovely woman in the restroom overheard my friend and I unsure on where to venture, and she suggested this place! Moody and welcoming. Absolutely loved it. We went in ~10:45 on a Wednesday pm. Apparently they do live jazz weekly as well, but we'd come too late. A handful of bar patrons, a couple making out in the back of the dining room at their cute table, a lovely bartender, me& my bff. We really hit the jackpot for ambiance last night. Decor in there is so cute. I wish I took a picture of the table lamp on the bar. It was embellished with beads hanging on the rim of the shade. Our drinks were top notch. Mine was a citrus vanilla profile and hers was a savory martini. The sandwich, I had one bite of it was yummy. I don't like imitation lunch meats though. CATFISH was breaded and fried fabulously. Not oily. Crispy and crunchy. So happy to have discovered this place! The bartender told us they just celebrated 6 years of business!

Turns out they had almost all high top tables, however we were able to be seated at the low table that seats 8. Other members of our party were able to be seated at 2 comfy chairs and a few nearby high tops. Food: excellent! Service:: excellent Ambiance: excellent So good that my husband requested to return for his birthday the next month. Only glitch was they had double booked. However we were still able to be seated in "our" spot
