Spicy yellowtail hand roll, spicy tuna hand roll, spicy salmon hand roll

We were absolutely blown away by the food and stunned that it hasn't received more hype! The ingredients were high quality, presentation was beautiful, and the flavors absolutely spot on! Dare we say this may be the best ragu we've had on Fed Hill? We did a pick up order using Toast, but next time definitely plan to eat there because the inside was well done and aesthetically pretty. Great date night spot!

Taylor S and I came in for dinner tonight and wow, we had a great experience! Joy, the owner was so wonderful. She is there daily and checks on all tables! She is a wonderful business owner who is loved by staff, regulars and anyone who meets her! Erica was our server and she was wonderful! Kevin made our drinks and they were equally pretty and delicious! A win in my book! The space is absolutely stunning. The paint color makes the space so inviting and I loved the art, the lights, the bar and all of the green chairs. It was so pretty inside! It is certainly an elevated space. The menu is unique and next level. They are serving high quality food and the presentation on everything is amazing. I have never experienced anything like it. If you are looking for cool Asian-Italian fusion, this is def the place to go! Their menu is out of this world! I def will be back! This spot was 10/10!

The seafood here was so fresh and they gave a perfect slab of it in the hand rolls! The calamari in the squid ink pasta we had was not chewy at all, and still hot and crispy from a fresh fry, deliciously seasoned. Service was phenomenal, given we did come in at an odd hour, but incredibly friendly, afable, and diligent, filling our waters, checking in on us, etc. They told us the soy sauce is made fresh in house, and I will say I was impressed by how legitimate each side of cuisine was and the amazing execution given how unique an Italian-Japanese fusion is. Only critique is the miso cod had a ton of mayo, and I couldn't really taste much besides the mayo, but otherwise, beautiful ambiance, phenomenal service, and delicious food - excellent!

We stumbled across this place by accident, but it seemed too unique to pass up. The service was absolutely wonderful. The server walked us through the menu and suggested how to order which was helpful. The tables were a little crowded together but it was a very lovely atmosphere. I liked it and it felt posh but comfortable. The food was delicious, the espresso martini was so yummy and I LOVED the crispy rice and Wagyu skewers. One star off because I believe it's a little overpriced for what you get, particularly the rolls. But overall would recommend.

We passed by Miso Mazza one day and immediately we were drawn to their aesthetic. We came across their restaurant week menu and figured it was the best time to try them out! We popped in on a Friday evening and it was decently busy. They had been open for maybe 4 months or so and they were still working out some kinks but nevertheless, staff was very friendly and food was really good! My favorite of the night, hands down, was the miso matcha strawberry margarita! I wouldn't hesitate to come back just for that drink alone! You're on fed hill, so expect it to be fed hill pricey. I personally wouldn't frequent this establishment on the daily because it is on the pricier side, but i wouldn't count this place out for a special date night or girls night occasion.

I'm loving the hand rolls here and went back a second time for it. It's a pretty restaurant right on Atwells Ave. Both times we went, it was noon so definitely wasn't busy. Second time was a snowstorm. Foods I enjoyed: crispy rice with truffle, truffle fries, wagyu stick appetizer (first time only...second time came out cold). Shrimp appetizer (bc they ran out of prawns) but it was the perfect cook and delicious sauce to accompany it. The Wagyu entree with parsnip puree was very scrumptious and I'd order it again. All the hand rolls were delicious: Wagyu, toro, scallop...all of them. Wasn't a fan of the pesto pasta bc to me, it wasn't green enough and needed more pesto. But their yuzu cheesecake dessert makes up for that! It also helps that the owner is very sweet and friendly. Will definitely be back to sample more hand rolls.

Meg M and I came here for dinner last night. The restaurant is beautiful! I love the ceiling, lights, chairs, bar, and artwork. Great first impression. They also offer free valet parking, I was lucky enough to find a street spot. The manager, Joy, greeted us and took care of us to start. She made some amazing recommendations and then Erica continued to wait on us. Everyone was soooooooo friendly and happy to help and make suggestions. We started with delicious drinks and crudo and of course had the crispy toro rice app. The crudo was really fresh and they make their own ponzu and soy sauce too! Even the flowers on the crudo were edible. The crispy toro rice app was truly the perfect bite - crispy, soft, and creamy all in one with great flavors. We tried three different sushi rolls - cod, poached lobster, and shrimp tempura. I've never had a poached lobster hand roll before. It was really great. My friend also had the wagyu beef skewers. I don't eat meat and I was tempted to take a bite. It smelled SO good! She said the beef was delicious and not fatty at all. We then split the salt and pepper calamari pasta dish. The pasta was great and the stewed tomatoes were delicious. We ended the meal with the sorbet trio and two more cocktails. We sat at the bar to talk to Kevin, the bartender. We wanted to get his recommendations for our second round. Kevin was a hoot and so much fun to chat with! Everything from the service, ambiance, food, and drinks was just spectacular. Cant wait to come back.

Came in for a girls dinner. It was amazing! The menu is really interesting. We tried a couple of the pastas and lots of the hand rollls. The server was so friendly and very funny! We got there about 7 and it was pretty empty but it was hopping when we left! The price is a little high but the quality seems really good.

Delicious fusion concept restaurant. My girlfriend got sushi and I got spicy squid pasta for my entree. Loved the atmosphere, William gave us some excellent service and great menu recs. I'd recommend to any enjoyers of Italian or Japanese, especially both. Lovely place. 5 stars. PS: never thought to eat pasta with chopsticks but it's like 20x easier than using a fork

The food was absolutely amazing, but the service was even better! The waitress was very helpful in her advice on what to get. I had the prawns which were to die for. And the spaghetti uni cream carbonara. It was the best pasta I have ever eaten. The atmosphere was also very nice, music wasn't too loud and the lighting was perfect.

Had a great pre-birthday dinner here. I love the interior and the way they designed. It's intimate and welcoming. Friendly staff. I enjoyed the food and cocktails, especially the crispy rice. I'll be back to try more from the menu.

5 hand rolls: spicy salmon, spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, butter crab, and truffle scallop. All on point!

We started with the lamb kavap and shared the ginormous chicken stew, and finished off with the honey cake. Every this was so flavorful. The lamb is served on skewers with 23 different spices. Definitely tasted cumin, paprika, peppercorns, garlic, and so many other spices! The chicken stew was so delicious. Be warned that it's big and spicy! Definitely a kick of peppercorns. I believe it's a full smashed whole chicken so each bite has bits of bones. But the chicken is stewed in a rich, spicy broth. The stew has hand made noodles, potatoes, and peppers. We finished off with honey cake which helped cooled down the spices we just ate. Lovely slice of cake with a scoop of coffee ice cream. This place gets busy but they have a digital waitlist. We checked in with the host on the first floor, but she escorted us to the second floor to be seated. I always liked that this restaurant seems to be a small house converted into a restaurant since it literally makes me feel at [someone's] home. We were given QR codes to scan for the menu; not my favorite. I overheard another table ask for paper menus, so it appears there is that option. For a starter, we ordered handmade lamb dumplings and for entrees, original meefen and lamb on dry land with a side of white rice. It all ended up coming out around the same time and the tables are a little small so it felt like an overwhelming amount of food, but it was actually the perfect amount for two people. The lamb dumplings were flavorful, albeit, the wrappers were a tad too soft. The original meefen was very tasty, especially the minced meat. However, the uden noodles don't do a great job of absorbing sauces, so it felt like a lot of the oils and flavor were left behind. The lamb on dry land was good, but it was difficult to eat especially two people. We didn't realize it would be meat on a stick, similar to a turkey leg but less meaty. We ended up eating the easy parts, but took the bone home to finish out of the public eye. The crispy potatoes on top were my friend's favorite. The total was about $50 which was fair. Our waiter and other staff members did an excellent job of getting us all we needed and clearing plates as we finished. Their official website is one of the coolest I have seen since it includes audio and images, but I wish it had a description of what each item is, just like their in restaurant menu QR code.

Amidst being fresh and brightly colored, the dish was quite bland overall. I begged for some elevated heat and flavor profiles-- it definitely fell short and was not spicy in the least. And I'm not a fan of a grease soaked platter... maybe it settled while I drove home but I definitely mopped up oil with a napkin/strained. No bueno. *Sidebar: They have a delicious green sauce that was really tasty and quite frankly saved the dish. I opted for this in place of a sweet Chili Glaze sauce that is provided because I hate sweet flavor profiles in all things dinner! Lol MVP: A wonderfully kind and efficient staff... the order was complete, error free, prepared timely and everyone was very friendly. The best item I purchased was the SANGRIA topped with fresh pineapple! Not the food-- it was all about their in-house beverages. Unfortunately, the set up is almost buffet like with add ons (I paid extra for Pico de Gallo... this also elevated the dish. With the sauce I selected and the pico, the dish literally would have been as bland as a cardboard sandwich). Perhaps it's me-- my palette is pretty elevated and I love heat. Peruvian dishes aren't exactly known for bombastic flavors, spice and heat... but the crowd and utter lack of parking got me excited. Will I return? Perhaps... definitely for a different item (perhaps the roasted chicken everyone was eagerly ordering) and it's a must on the sangria option! But $32.90 for a very basic fried rice mixed with lo mein moment + salad (I tipped $3 amidst to go).... Nah. I'd be lying if I said it was worth it. Lovely aesthetic and energy, however. I ordered the Snow Mountain Ramen - the creamy tofu broth is unlike anything I've had and was so so unique and delicious. I thought about it for at least a week straight after eating it and am still dying to go back to get more. I also got the Iced Rose Matcha drink - $10 felt too pricy for this but I wanted a fun drink and a little caffeine kick - and again the flavors were unique and tasty. Both my friend and I happened to see someone we knew here - it's definitely a popular spot! It was packed on a Saturday night but it was still pretty quick for us to get a table for 2. Being a downtown city restaurant, the tables feel a bit cramped and I was a little too close to the table next to me for comfort - claustrophobics beware (honestly the soup is worth it though!!) Parking is pretty easy in the lot, although Holy crap they need to fix the potholes / harsh drop-off where it meets the street, and it still was not fully plowed many weeks after the big snowstorm (it's a shared lot so not a Y Noodle specific issue, but just saying). The only thing that was unpleasant were the bathrooms - I get it was a busy weekend night, but they reeked of a litter box the second you stepped in, the floor was dirty and very wet with unknown substances, and the Dyson hand dryer is at such a weird, too high level on the wall that it sprayed water in my face. Come on ... how much does it cost you to actually throw in a tiny cup of hot mustard? I mean, who doesn't eat hot mustard with Chinese food? It used to be that Chinese food was a fast and cheap dinner ... a combo meal here is $18, after substitution. I want to know ... who the fuck has ever actually eaten a shitty chicken wing from a Chinese restaurant without substituting it out? Probably nobody. You eat fresh BBQ chicken wings at a tailgate, not from a dirty restaurant the size of a college dorm room. Of course they know any sane person with working taste buds will substitute nasty skimpy wings for something else ... so they include them in every combo meal knowing people will pony up the extra $1.50 - $2.50. A combo with 3 crab rangoon, 3 chicken fingers (substituted for wings) and an egg roll now costs almost $20. The quality here is on par with a mall food court ... which is to say, not great. Dry AF fried rice with fatty cubes of pork which have the consistency and taste of a pencil eraser. The rice was almost chewy it was so dry amd barely tasted like pencil shavings it was so bland. The crab rangoon was decent ... filled with fake cream cheese and almost no crab. If you are drunk, it's fine and filling. Nothing you couldn't throw in an air fryer from a frozen box. The chicken fingers were okay. Likeky frozen a year ago and thrown into a deep fat frier hours before you ordered and kept under a heat lamp. If you are drunk or high, you'll leave a 4/5 star review. If you are unfortunately sober when you eat this, it will remind you of the dsys you'd scrape your lawn mowing money together and splurge on Chinese food from the mall food court when you were in middle school. Overall, this is buffet food served as fresh made.
