I'm in love with a noodle!!! A noodle bar that is, this place is soooooo good, started with soup dumplings they were perfect and savory I could've eaten 20. The ramen deserves an Oscar it was that good!! Service was great attentive. Ambiance is cozy and the drinks were spot on, don't pass on the figtini

Came in for dinner with girlfriends. I'd never had soup dumplings before but they were very good! My friends also loved their meal. The place js also super cute. I hope it lasts!!

Wow, absolute worst customer service ever. If you have a gluten allergy, gluten sensitivity or celiac disease DO NOT COME HERE. They claim they have gluten free rice noodles but their manager just told me THEY DO NOT. The boy who answered the phone told me he cannot deal with my concern because it is "above his pay rate." When calling back, a woman who answered tried to address my concerns but the manager was consistently yelling at me in the background. When she finally got on the phone, she tried to shut me up with a voided order. Wouldn't you want to address the situation and help the customer feel better so that they come back? We will never come back here again. Tell me if you think these noodles are the same or not. Zero stars if that was an option.

Very cute space with a simplicity that balances perfectly with their exquisite ceramic dishes. We enjoyed the spicy miso ramen, pork bao buns, and edamame, and lavender matcha tonic. We also had an allergy in our party and when the kitchen missed it on our order the server noticed it before the bowl made it to our table

The reservation system was a bit confusing but it worked out fine and we totally didn't need reservations for 2 on a Friday evening. The service was great; the food came out quickly and everyone was very nice. The food was absolutely delicious. The shrimp gyoza are an absolute must. The flavor was great and the sear was perfect. The pork bao we got pan seared rather than steamed and it was a great choice. The sear was fantastic on that as well. The filling was tasty but not the best I've ever had. The takoyaki has great flavor and the coating was perfect. We only got apps to share and this was my first time here but I'm excited to return for ramen soon!

I don't know how the Chicken Karaage can be both raw and burnt. Possibly the worst thing I've ever eaten , absolutely rancid stuff, please see images, can't believe I paid 30 dollars for this and some buns. Also, the buns were legit empty, and the oil tasted like car fluid

Crab meat and pork soup dumplings. Wasn't bad.

I thought the food items we ordered were pretty average. Not over the top but wasn't terrible either. Still worth stopping in though--restaurant is pretty nice and patio was enjoyable during our visit. We were around the area and I needed my soup dumpling fix so we decided to try. I had the soup dumplings with crab meat and pork and it wasn't bad. But I didn't think it was overtop amazing. I had a taste of the spicy miso ramen and we also ordered tako-yaki octopus and it wasn't bad but nothing extraordinary either. Kiddo enjoyed the kids ramen though. Overall visit I'd rate the food a 3.5 and give service and ambience a solid 4. Location was cool--plenty of easy parking Cheers

This place has it all! From fun wall decor to amazing atmosphere and the most delicious food! Staff was fun and friendly. The seating arrangements are so cozy and intimate perfect for casual dining as well. Mocktails as well as cocktails are always available, and highly recommend. Best gyozas in the area! If you try only one item it must be the shrimp gyoza! So flavorful. Also ordered the trio bao buns, each one delightful. The Dan Dan noodles though!!!! I couldn't get enough I had to order more to go. Parking is also available which is always a plus, especially in Providence.

I've been here twice and both times were good experiences. The food tasted fresh and we ordered a few dishes to share. The fried chicken and the bao buns were yummy. I liked the miso ramen. The service was good as well. The staff was very attentive. And the ambiance was clean and spacious. The decor gives it a nice touch too. Parking is decent but it can get packed so you might have to park in the streets sometimes.

Y Noodle Bar is one of our favorite Asian restaurants in Rhode Island. We love coming here to get a mixture of everything on the menu to share - including ramen bowls, bao buns, soup dumplings, and bento boxes. Their pan fried bao buns, beef fried rice and tan tan ramen are our personal favorites. If you are coming in for soup dumplings or bao buns, just be aware there is usually a 20-25 minute cooking time (but it's so worth it!)

The ramen is good! The appetizers might be better. The soup dumplings are good and one of the only places to find them in the area.

I want to preface this review by saying that 1) I'm writing it with love 2) I really hope that management reads reviews & 3) This was so important to me to write that I'm literally writing it right here in the restaurant. TLDR; I really like Y Noodle & Bar but some things need immediate attention, IMHO. - Music choice - Prices - Portion sizes I thought to myself earlier today that I'd love to treat myself to a bowl of Tokyo Shoyu from Y Noodle & Bar. I had this thought, immediately followed by another one: "But they play really horrible music..." I made the decision to come anyways. So there I was, just settled into my seat at a table by myself, when I heard "Peace up, A-Town down" & then "Yeah!" by Usher & Lil' Jon surrounded me. It was so loud, so jarring, & so comical. I looked up & locked eyes with a couple at another table who were also totally taken aback. We shared a laugh & agreed that the restaurant plays truly inappropriate music. Not cuss words inappropriate, necessarily, but inappropriate in the way that it totally doesn't fit the space. It's also not consistent. We ricocheted from club jams to bubblegum pop to Ice Spice. If the music, something easily changeable, is a well-known deterrent, that's a shame. Please, throw on a neo-soul playlist, or some Lo-Fi Hip Hop Beats to Study To, or literally anything that doesn't immediately raise folks' cortisol levels. So onto the price issue. I had originally intended to get a cocktail, but was taken aback at the prices on the menu. The not-complex cocktails were all priced around $16/$17. I really can't rationalize paying that much for whiskey, grapefruit, & yuzu. So I opted for soda instead. Finally, the portion sizes. I ordered Tokyo Shoyu & when it arrived, I just looked at it for a moment, because something seemed wrong. I realized that bowl was less than halfway full of soup, & thought "oh dear." A few minutes later, a DIFFERENT table next to me received their ramen orders, & they said out loud, "damn." I listened to them voice what I was thinking, that the portions have clearly gotten A LOT smaller. Shrinkflation. I finished my ramen quickly & I'm still hungry. I got my bill & my pepsi was $4. 8 oz of soda from the gun is $4 these days? DAMN. Your ramen is so good! Your place is so cool! Your staff is so nice! You got a good thing going. Please, don't let your music, portion sizes, & prices mess with a good thing. Also, to be clear, I'm not inventing an invisible army for dramatic effect. There were real people all around me that were having the same reactions that I was. I really hope this review is noticed & considered. Thank you!

Very friendly and helpful service as I was quickly seated at bar and provided with some awesome recommendations with the miso salad and ragu. The ragu was phenomenal with perfect combination of fresh noodles, combo of meats and a bit of spice that gives it a little extra kick. Good selection of beers and drinks to wash your meal down over conversations with staff or friends. Stop on in for some great noodles in a casual and relaxed atmosphere!

The server said there was really only one option on the menu for vegetarians which is what I ordered. The food is served luke warm and for $15 I'm pretty sure I could have made this same dish at home for much cheaper and probably better. It has a spicy chili oil on the side that you mix in along with the pickled radish which was more salty than pickled tasting. One bunch of noodles wasn't properly cooked and clumped at a section. I consider myself pretty good eating with chopsticks and the slippery noodles proved to be quite difficult to eat. Not a good option if you're on a date and maybe concerned with how you will look eating this dish. Probably the saving grace of the dish was the mushrooms which allowed me to give this place 3 stars. I will not be back to this restaurant. I only ordered a hot water with a lemon for a drink. No lemon was given, only a chipped little cup (pictured), and the restaurant was freezing. I kept my coat on the entire time. The menu is really tiny. I suggest looking at the menu before going and really making sure there is something you want to try before going. Rookie mistake made on my end!

Service was quick and very accommodating, conversational as well even for how busy it was. On street parking only. I had the ten ten men which had a whole egg, bok choy and ground pork. Flavor was good, wish the broth were hotter and more veg/meat in it. Very rich flavorful broth. Def hit the spot for me on a cold winter evening. My bf had the duck ramen which he really enjoyed and devoured, said wished there were more ramen in it tho which means he def wanted more lol. We had the gyoza app which was standard, wasn't a huge fan of the tangy sauce and chili oil. Maybe an additional sauce option offering would be nice? A cool thing they have is the blooming jasmine tea which the server told us was imported from Japan. Was very strong which shows the quality. Had a pink mocktail which was too tangy for my taste. I had a hot sake Reiko. The check came to $70. Our server, Amanda, was on the ball and cheerfully efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will return sooner than later.
