My favorite spot in town for matcha and coffee. The quality and service are both consistently great, and even though there can be pretty long lines on weekends, they usually move quickly. They freshly whisk the matcha for each drink. Everything I've tried so far has been really good, and the taste has been very consistent. Their drinks also aren't overly sugary, which I really appreciate. These are the best matcha drinks I've had, and I loved their Vietnamese coffee as well. I'm someone who likes to bring a book and spend some time at a cafe while trying different drinks, so the only thing I personally wish was a little different is the atmosphere. The grey, garage-style decor isn't quite my cozy-cafe aesthetic , but that's completely a personal preference and definitely doesn't take away from how good the drinks and service are. Absolutely worth a visit, especially if you love matcha!
Really wanna loved this spot as our friends have been raving about it saying it's the best matcha they've had. Besides, the long line kinda made it even look more convincing. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, but probably I had set my expectation too high and also thought the steep price needed to be justified by what we got. Got the Itsumi, which was the best quality offered and I thought it's just decent and I could call out better quality matcha I had had, coming at similar price. Also tried the Matcha Einspanner and wasn't much impressed. The space was so cool tho with chill industrial vibe. Got very busy and kinda hard to find seats especially in the afternoon.
Came from out of town and was excited to try Phê since there aren't too many Vietnamese coffee shops in my city. When we got there, we came upon a huge crowd of people waiting around since the storefront is completely open to the sidewalk. One of the customers kindly directed us to the door off to the left, where you can join the line to place your order. I think there could be a clearer way to indicate this, since the crowd was blocking our view of where the line was (there was only one person in line at the time). The person taking our orders was friendly and we managed to find a seat for the two of us. It was pretty busy with both people on their laptops and people just having a chat. There are two single stall restrooms and free wifi available. It took a little while to get our drinks, which were a little smaller than I expected given how much they were. Despite this, I enjoyed my hojicha latte. It had a good sweetness level and I could really taste the hojicha flavor. I enjoyed my drink, but I would probably try out other places before coming back.
Phe is a Vietnamese cafe that serves coffee, matcha, tea, and small Vietnamese bites. Phe is located in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle. Whenever I am near Phe, there is always a line out the door. The day we visited was no exception. Luckily, it didn't take as long as we initially thought. I was quite ecstatic to try since it was my first time at Phe! I ordered an Iced Earl Grey Matcha. It is definitely one of the pricier matchas in the Seattle area. Thankfully the quality was great. It wasn't too sweet, or bitter at all. The interior is quite minimal, with a sleek modern touch. I really liked the little chairs and table that they have near the ordering/pick up area. It reminds me of Southeast Asia. A solid matcha spot in Seattle. I wouldn't mind coming back again to try their other drinks.
Let's be honest, the line outside Phe was insane, It looped all the way behind the building. Good thing I was not alone. I have to say the line did moved rather fast. SERVICE 5/5 From the staff at the counter taking order to the gentleman who cleaned our table so meticulously, and brought out our food, everyone there was really friendly and pleasant. BANANA PUDDING MATCHA LATTE/SLIDERS/SHOESTRING FRIES 4/5 Banana Pudding Matcha Latte - 6/5 (One extra star!!) Each of us ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte, and let me say if there is one drink you want to order here, get the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte!! It was so yummy, so delicious and the best!! It was a good quality matcha latte with a creamy dessert. Best of both world! Sliders 4/5 Love them!! The buns were so soft, and the sliders were so comforting. I had to dock off one point since they were not too generous with the bacon. Half of the sliders had no bacon :( Shoestring fries 4/5 I usually like crinkle cut fries, but these were so addicting until it just gotten too salty at the bottom. AMBIANCE 5/5 It was a huge place and even though it was packed, people here did not hoard the seats for hours. It was lively and I was so glad to come here during my first visit to Seattle. Average Instagram hyped kind of place. 30 minute wait from getting in line to receiving our drinks, which isn't terrible but should be accounted for. Really beautiful and surprisingly large space! We got both Hojicha and Matcha drinks, and thought both were solid options. You won't be disappointed but also probably won't be wowed. They also serve with a bit too much ice, and have some of smallest cups I've ever seen in a cafe. At a fairly premium price point those choices can seem stingy. Fun to try but probably wouldn't make it a regular spot.
I had heard so many things about Phe and was eager to try it! I got a banana pudding matcha which was absolutely delicious! The matcha is great quality, the banana pudding is super delicious as well! The inside of Phe is super cute as well, there is seating but can definitely get pretty crowded during the weekends. Lots of natural light and some tables that could be great for meeting a friend or getting work done. The location is in a very busy area of capital hill, luckily I did not drive so parking was not an issue but expect street parking which could rang from $5-$7. I personally think that this place is not super realistic for an every day matcha. I paid about $12 after tip and that's pretty pricey. I'd say it's good for a treat though. I personally recommend visiting phe during the week day, during weekends you can expect long lines and a long wait.
Everytime I past Phe there is a line out the door. I finally went on a Friday morning shortly after it opened and I'm glad I did! There was no wait, my friends coffee was ready a little faster than my matcha. There is plenty of seating and perfect for a little morning chat. I ordered the strawberry matcha with oat milk. It's definitely on the more expensive end for matcha, but I was really pleased with the flavor. It's on the sweet side, but the strawberry and oat milk dont overpower the matcha. I'm bummed they don't have a plain matcha, but would definitely come back for a sweet treat!
Deserves all the love it's gotten as one of Seattle top matcha spots! There's always a line out the door but they're pretty efficient so it moves quickly. The matcha taste is strong and doesn't taste watered down but I think they could get rid of the unnecessary flower they pluck on top of the matchas for pure decoration lol. I've tried both their regular matcha latte and their matcha einspeinner but wouldn't pick the latter as the matcha flavor seems a lot more diluted.
Finally tried Phe after having this place saved in my bookmarks for a while! I ordered myself the banana pudding matcha was a solid 9 out of 10. The matcha doesn't taste artificial at all and the toffee bits give it a nice little crunch and extra sweetness. There are also actual small chunks of banana in the banana pudding, which I wasn't expecting but really liked. The cafe is cute and modern.. definitely has that trendy Seattle cafe feel. The staff was friendly and service was good, but the wait was LONGGGG. We got in line around 11am and didn't get our drinks until around 11:45.. Parking is another thing to keep in mind. We found street parking, but it was $5 an hour...so that definitely adds up. And yeah... $12 for a drink. It's good, but definitely not a casual everyday matcha price. Still, I'd go back for the banana pudding matcha. Just maybe not when there's a huge line lol.
Such a good little find in Seattle! We stopped at Phê and the bánh mì sandwiches were AMAZING. The bread was perfectly crispy on the outside, the filling was so flavorful, and everything tasted super fresh. Honestly one of those sandwiches you keep thinking about after the fact. We also loved the vibe of the cafe. Super cute, casual, and an easy stop while exploring Capitol Hill. Definitely wish we had something like this back home because I would be a regular!
Ordered: - Banana Pudding Matcha - Good. One of the better banana pudding matcha I've had. - Earl Grey Matcha - Sad it was whole milk only, my guess is they steep it in milk instead of doing a syrup. - Matcha Einspanner - Strawberry Matcha - Wasn't a fan of their strawberry puree. I wouldn't get this one again. A decent amount of seating inside. Street parking only. Took about 15 ish minutes to get our drinks once we ordered.
(4.5/5) Dropped by to try Phe in Capitol Hill, and I was really surprised to see the large amount of traffic despite it being the middle of the day on a Monday. This is a Vietnamese coffee-inspired drink bar with some bites on the side. I ordered the coconut matcha and banana pudding matcha latte. It took quite a while to get our drinks (30-40 min), but it was understandable as it was busy. Both drinks were really good and not too sweet! I was surprised that the banana pudding balanced the matcha underneath with some added banana chips on top for texture and real banana pieces for authentic flavour. I definitely preferred the Koko Kloud as it was light, refreshing, and easy to drink. Both drinks had quite an intense matcha flavour as well. Although the matcha flavour itself may not be comparable to some other places, the concept and fusion execution were really well done. There is ample seating inside for dine-ins, and I can see it being a cute study/working space. Would love to return to try some other drinks next time.

Okay Capitol Hill I see youuuu! Last time I came to Seattle 8 years ago, there weren't very many matcha or Asian tea spots so I was pleased to find one here! In terms of accessibility, it's pretty walkable from the Capitol Hill shuttle and Link Train station. There was quite a long line where we waited for ~25 minutes, but it felt pretty quick once you ordered. I will say it was really busy inside...almost claustrophobic even though there were lots of tables and chairs so be prepared to wait! Interior is warm with the lighting and vases on the shelves. Light wood and cool tones! Very neat and clean. Their menu is standard with fun drink options with hojicha, matcha, and their viet coffee. My boyfriend isn't a huge fan of coffee, so we were glad to see there were a few other tea options. Cups are so cute! What we got: - Honeycomb Viet Coffee: comes with caramel and vanilla cold foam and generous pieces of honeycomb! honeycomb was too much for me even though the barista said to dip it. found this drink a bit overwhelming but strong coffee and yummy foam - Honey Yuzu Chrysanthemum Tea: absolutely refreshing & on the sweeter side, comes with tea jelly, i miss her Overall, I'd expect a wait for both ordering and getting your drinks. The line seems intimidating since the outside looks pretty small, but there were options for everyone. I'd like to come back again and try their matcha as I wanted to try something new this time. read more

Finally had the chance to come here after hearing about their matcha for so long and it was definitely worth the hype!! The wait was not as long as I expected. I came at around 2:50pm on a Saturday and got our drinks 30 minutes after. The line moves pretty quickly. The banana pudding with matcha latte seemed most popular so I chose that one. I liked how the barista who made my drink filled it to the brim!! Though it definitely depends on who makes your drinks since I saw some baristas left room for the banana pudding lol. The matcha latte was amazing but the banana pudding was ok. It wasn't worth the 3 extra dollars for it. If you don't particularly like banana pudding, I'd recommend just getting the matcha latte. The einspanner was delicious as well. Their matcha flavor is quite strong and on the less sweet side which I love! Seating is quite small, with super small chairs and little tables on one side, more proper booth and chair seating on the other side of the restaurant but taken up by people studying and such. It is a pretty nice vibe for a cafe to hangout in! read more
This place is expensive but quality. Hyped up for a reason. The matcha was sooo delicious and great quality with the best damn banana pudding omg. Walking into the cafe it was very modern and simplistic with earthy tones and decor. The baristas have a very calm, chill, friendly demeanor but more on the quiet side matching the ambiance. All the baristas were whisking the matcha thoroughly and doing a great job. They were locked in! We enjoyed sitting in the small seats with the small tables watching the drinks being made with the hustle and bustle as they get super busy. Important part now...the drinks! We skipped the food when we stopped by on Halloween morning but we can try another time possibly. My man ordered the Hojicha Latte Iced which was delicious and beautifully presented with a cute flower. The Hojicha Latte here I actually prefer over the one at Nana's Green Tea cafe. We also ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte which was the star of the show. Damn that pudding is delicious and just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The drink is $11 so it's expensive but it was worth it as the pudding had actual banana in it and the matcha was great quality. An amazing dessert type matcha drink. As this place is on the pricier side I don't see myself stopping by often but it's definitely a place I see myself coming on a special occasion like my birthday for example. Super delicious drinks!!! I love how strong the matcha flavor was in the matcha einspanner! Creamy and just the right amount of sweetness! Came in on a Thursday afternoon and only waited around 20 minutes to order and get my drink! The matcha is made to order, hence, very authentic and fresh. I also appreciate that they have a complimentary syrup dispenser for customers who may like their drinks a tad bit sweeter. Friendly workers and very nice aesthetic decor inside! Lots of chairs and tables; a louder atmosphere, but still spacious enough to study and hangout with friends. Only downside is that the drinks are expensiveeeee!! I'm used to getting my matchas in LA for ~$6 so this was a big surprise to me to be charged $10 for a cup. read more

this was one of two cafes my boyfriend and i went to while visiting seattle and overall we thought it was pretty okay. the good: i really liked the interior, there was a good amount of seating and it felt very airy and open since the whole front wall/window opens. there's also a bar where you can watch the matcha being whisked! and the girl taking our order was really kind. the bad: the banana pudding matcha was $11 we didn't realize until it was rung up but $11 seemed pretty crazy compared to what we're used to in socal. it was also quite underwhelming and we felt it lacked flavor considering the price. there is also no real waiting area, if you're able to snag a table or seat it's pretty loud inside so you probably won't hear your order being called from the bar, otherwise you have to wait outside the shop in the sidewalk which blocks the walkway when it's busy. overall i thought it was just okay. it was good to try once but i don't think i'd come back. read more

I've been here probably 10+ times already - hands down the best matcha latte in Seattle. I've tried all of the matcha latte flavors here, including Hoa (more floral) and Rau (more bitter) and they were all amazing. It is on the pricier side per cup, but the quality shows (compared to the other places in Seattle). I've tried working here a few times; there's plenty of seating, but it does get quite loud with the music and overall ambiance, and it fills up quickly. I'd recommend coming on a weekday, as weekend lines can get very long. read more

Terrible service... My friends and I were so excited to try this place out because we have had heard great things. We did a roadtrip from LA to Oregon and then Oregon to Washington. We were finally in the area to try Phe out and once we got there we were not greeted by the staff but with a long line. This only meant the drinks are really good right? Once it was our time to order, the lady behind the register had the most bothered face on her. I understand, dealing with a "rush" of paying customers, it can get overwhelming, but it shouldn't be taken out on others. Anyways, we tried very hard to be nice to the worker and we asked questions about the matcha to get an idea on which to order but her attitude was completely disrespectful. I don't think this worker wanted to answer any of our questions or even help us at all. She laughed and with an attitude said "ha what?" when my friend asked about the matcha quality and notes that can be expected. Again, I understand working in customer service can get overwhelming sometimes, especially on a Friday morning but this experience just made us very uncomfortable and not welcoming in the slightest. It also makes it difficult to justify a $12 matcha when the staff is horrible (receipt in picture). The drink itself was good and the presentation was great but I'm sure you can find the same elsewhere in the city with much better customer service. read more
Really cute coffee/matcha place in Seattle! My friend highly recommended Phe, and it did not disappoint. On the weekend, there was a line out the door and the inside was buzzing with lots of people. The interior was clean, well-decorated, and minimalistic. It was pretty loud inside. The menu had a lot of delicious looking options. I ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha and tried their C3 Vietnamese coffee. Generally their drinks were on the more expensive side, but both were delicious! The banana pudding was a sweet creamy scoop on top of the drink. It had little chunks of fresh banana and crunchy toffee sprinkled on top. The matcha itself was not too bitter and not too sweet. I'd recommend eating a bite of the banana pudding and then sipping the matcha to enjoy all the flavors. The C3 Vietnamese coffee was strong, rich, and well-balanced. Very solid staple and flavor. Overall, I really liked this place and its vibe. I would definitely come back to try more of their creative drinks. read more
I had the phe me (black sesame cream foam) and the matcha einspanner, the phe me was absolutely phenomenal. I have had so many black sesame drinks back in LA but Seattle is where it's at. This black sesame is so creamy and mixed with the coffee is just such a great complimenting taste. 5/5 for sure, must try. However, the matcha is alright, it's not as good as others I have tried before but it is quite decent. The service is quick and the aesthetics of the cafe is very nice. read more
It was my second time at Phe. We got the honeycomb coffee, which was really good, and the seasonal crème brûlée coffee. I ordered both drinks less sweet and they were perfect. We also tried the banana pudding matcha, which was delicious -- it had real chunks of banana and was super creamy and decadent. The line was pretty long when we got there, and we waited about 10 minutes for our drinks. I think it was worth the wait, but I probably wouldn't wait much longer than that. Overall, the coffee is strong and tasty, but it's definitely on the pricier side. I'd come here once in a while for a fun treat, but it's not somewhere I'd go every day. read more

A very decent matcha latte, but at a pretty high price point. I'm sure they use good matcha, as the flavor was strong and earthy. But not sure if it was worth the price increase over other places. May be more worth it to get the more fun drinks here. read more

Best matcha/coffee spot in Seattle! The lines aren't too long before 10 AM on the weekends or when it's raining! There's a lot of seating inside and you are usually able to find a table or quickly wait for one. There's drinks are super delicious and beautiful. Highly recommend the drinks special to phe (hot chocolate coffee, banana pudding matcha). read more
Guys unfortunately this is worry the hype. So much so I almost ordered a second trip. First thing if you're expecting to find seating on the weekend here try again because it's packed and small. We got luck my and got these tiny chairs lol. Either way I got the basic matcha latte and wow. First I love that you can watch them make the matcha. This is high quality truly so tasty!!! read more
I found Phê while scrolling through Instagram for good matcha in Seattle. I read that Phê has been so popular that earlier this summer they ran out of matcha powder! Phê has a beautiful space and really honors the process of whisking and making the matcha drinks. The service is quick and kind and I took the recommendation of the cashier and got the Matcha Einspanner. The deep, vibrant green color of my matcha drink was exactly what you want to see and a sign of a high quality matcha powder. Would highly recommend! read more

Line was out the door and nearly up the street on a Sunday afternoon where we ended up waiting 45 minutes just to order since there was only one person on register. Wish they would add another cashier or move to kiosk ordering. Drinks only took about 10 minutes to get so they're pretty efficient there. Banana pudding matcha cost $11 and was not worth the price. Weak flavors in both the pudding and matcha, and small in size (considering I'm from the Bay, that's saying a lot). I do appreciate how they open the garage door for more space and natural lighting. Makes the cafe feel less crowded. read more

I had this place on my itinerary when I visited Seattle. I kept seeing this place on TikTok, so I definitely had high expectations for their matcha. We came on a Friday, and boyyy was this place crowded. It was difficult to even stand inside while waiting for our drinks. We got the banana pudding matcha and the matcha Einspanner. Given that the banana pudding matcha was $11 (), I had VERY high expectations. Unfortunately, I didn't think the drink was worth the price. This was the most I've ever spent on a matcha, and I felt it was just alright. The place is very aesthetic and it's nice how you can watch them make your drinks, but I probably won't be revisiting. read more

- street parking, we got lucky and found a spot pretty quick along the college side! - spacious cafe with lots of seating that extends to the back - loved the variety of drinks and even food - there were vietnamnese coffee drinks, matcha, hojicha, and fruit teas - you can see them freshly whisk and make all the drinks in front of you - loved the yuzu honey tea (there was a yuzu jelly that was so silky and tasty) and the matcha specifically! (matcha quality was top tier, so smooth and slightly vegetal which balanced perfectly with the sweet homemade strawberry jam) read more
WOW, WOW, WOW. I walked by this spot and saw them making their matcha and knew I had to stop by. The matcha was professional grade, not bitter at all and soooo refreshing! The crème brûlée (Phê crème brûlée) and honeycomb toffee (Phê keo) drinks were sweet and strong. I loved the creativity of the drinks. It certainly matched the cool aesthetic of the cafe. Unfortunately, the banana pudding was all out. I would be back to check it out! The staff were very friendly and patient considering the insane line today. Overall a win! read more
I finally visited Phe after hearing all the rave about it. I try to avoid going up to Seattle as traffic and parking sucks. Fortunately when I decided to go there, parking was not an issue as I parked right across the street. The line was a little long, it took around 30 minutes total, waiting in line then waiting for your drink all in all. I ordered the strawberry matcha and got a spam musubi as I was starving. Musubi was good. Matcha was good as well, I would say the matcha was super strong as I had a hard time falling asleep the following night and I also felt a little dizzy. All in all, I don't think I'll come back mainly because I don't want to wait 20-30 minutes for a drink and find parking as well. Waited for about 20 minutes to order, and unfortunately by the time we got to the front of the line they ran out of the matcha banana pudding (tragic). I ended up getting a matcha earl gray latte, which I was pleasantly surprised by. The early gray was pretty strong- initially the floral taste hits you and you finish with a matcha aftertaste. My friend got a matcha latte with oat milk and we were both very happy with the quality of our drinks. It can be challenging to find a good matcha latte, especially since most taste either bitter, grassy, or milky. Probably wouldn't wait in that long of a line again but I didn't regret it. There seems to be a decent amount of seating inside, but it does get busy so would prepare to just take your drinks to go. read more

phe was the food spot i was MOST excited for on vacation! we loved that there were different flavor profile options for the matcha. something for everyone; floral and nutty notes! also really really LOVE and appreciate the halal options!! please keep it up!! we were able to sort out breakfast & coffee in one stop. the sliders & the aioli were outstanding; so fresh and so much depth of flavor. service was fast despite the many many orders & the ambiance was so cool! decor was amazing. we were able to get a table despite it being pretty busy, so that was really nice too! read more

I was able to try their limited edition egg brûlée coffee and it was pretty good! It still had their authentic Vietnamese coffee flavor and the edition of the egg brûlée. Those two went well together. The service was good. The coffee didn't take long to make and the employees answered any questions we had. The ambiance is good. There's a good amount of seating, however, since it's so popular, it was filled up. There's great lighting as well, but it can be a bit loud in here. read more
Seen this coffee shop all over Instagram and had to see it for myself. Primarily known for its matcha, they offer funky and unique drinks for coffee and matcha lattes. Their coffee isn't your regular coffee, there's different types and the one I got tasted like hot cocoa. The lines are long but they go by quick. The layout is great in the sense that they offer seating while you wait and the music adds to the vibe. The drinks are a little pricy but for the craft of the drinks I think it's understandable. The matcha was too bitter for me, but I like the fake stuff. This matcha is the authentic kind and my friend who loves the matcha in Japan enjoyed this matcha thoroughly. It's a great place to visit and your feed will love it. It wouldn't be my monthly stop but it's a cute place to visit once in a while. read more

Super trendy cafe with a tonn of people. Lines are always out the door and when I finally decided to bite the bullet and visit, I was glad I did! The drinks are good and the seating area has good decor. I ordered the sesame coffee and shared their fries with a friend. Overall, very glad I went and glad I got to try this cafe which has been on my list for the longest time. I will need to come back and try their matcha next time. read more
One the best "banana" (pudding) latte drinks I've had, both the hojicha and matcha. All 3 drinks we tried had a pleasantly strong/bold tea flavor, a nice rich texture, and are perfectly lightly sweetened. It's not pudding in the traditional sense, more like a very thick whipped cream or mousse, but doesn't feel greasy I find some whipped creams or cold foams have. It's really good! They give you a cute wooden spoon to eat the pudding with/stir your drink. The shape of the cups are also well thought-out where the wide mouth and stout cup it makes it easier to manage the large scoop of "pudding" floating on top. There were some real banana chunks at the bottom of the cup, which are a fun treat to eat at the end. The person who took our drink order, wasn't particularly nice, but wasn't rude either. It just seemed like she didn't want to be there. We ordered food and drink. They call your number on your receipt when your drink is ready to pick up at the counter, but it was hard to hear/listen for our order from our table. You get a separate number marker to place on your table for them to bring the food out to you when it's ready. Mì Trộn Saté * 2/5 * Very bland. There wasn't much of a sauce, more of a red oil that sits at the bottom of the bowl, and doesn't even coat the noodles that well when mixed up. The meat mixture was under-seasoned. The noodles were more on the al dente side. Just not good overall, especially for $18. Banana Pudding Matcha Latte * 5/5 * Good strong matcha, not too bitter with a nice rich texture, pairs great with the banana. Love the banana pudding on top! This is my favorite local matcha spot in cap hill :) I love the modern interior and the matcha is delicious -- not too grassy which I prefer. My favorite is the mango matcha (seasonal) but I also like the regular and strawberry matcha. It's super popular so make sure you're prepared to wait in line (moves fairly fast but sometimes is out the door). read more

Best Vietnamese coffee I've had anywhere. I still think about it all the time! We ordered the phe nau and phe bap. Both were very well balanced, neither too bitter nor too sweet. My bf also loved the spam, egg and avocado musubi and said it tasted fresher than the ones we had in Hawaii (!!) read more
Street parking. Ambiance is lovely- clean lines, bright. Lots of seating options- from western to Vietnamese style street tables. Service- this place was busy on Fri afternoon, constant line that moved. Food and drinks- variety of yummy drinks and food. Food is 3 stars to me. Drinks 4-5 stars. read more
I'm convinced that this place has the best matcha latte in the city. The matcha is vibrant and great quality, and they use a good amount in the latte. I got the cloud matcha which they said was the most popular option after the banana options sold out. The earl grey matcha is amazing too. They hand whisk everything so it is an experience to watch. The space is nice, big and luxurious (reminds me of New York matcha places). It's not cheap at around $10 per latte, but if you're a matcha fan you need to try it! read more

The staff here are super friendly and approachable, taking time to walk you through the menu if you're not familiar with the different teas or flavor profiles. It makes the whole process feel welcoming even for first-time visitors. I tried both the Matcha Einspanner and the Hojicha Einspanner, and they were excellent in their own ways. The matcha was mild, smooth, and fragrant, while the hojicha leaned more earthy and grain-rich, giving it a deeper, roasted profile. Visited this cafe twice during a trip to Seattle. I loved the variety of matcha drinks they offer. We tried both flavors of the matcha lattes (hoa and rau) and we enjoyed them but like rau more. On our second visit, we tried the mango matcha and the matcha einspanner. The matcha flavor wasn't as strong as we prefer in both drinks, but the mango was good and fresh, and the einspanner was very creamy. Service is friendly. The space is really nicely decorated with a variety of seating. There are small tables and chairs in front if you just want to hang and chat with friends, and there are larger tables in the back if you want to work. If they have spam musubis available, I highly recommend you try them! For $4.50 it's a standard size with egg and avocado. read more

Don't be deterred by the line. It moves quickly. Got the strong Vietnamese coffee (Phe Nau) and the banana pudding matcha. Both are best we've ever had!! Hand whisked matcha means no chalk or weird aftertaste. Yum!! Egg rolls delish and spam musubi a fun thing to try. read more
