I'm not a matcha fanatic but wanted to try a drink here and see the hype. the line wasn't super long since we went near closing time on a Sunday. I got the earl grey matcha. It's hard to say since I am not an avid matcha drinker. I enjoyed the drink without the matcha? or maybe I expected a bit more of a matcha taste and not have the earl grey overpower the taste. maybe I'm not into matcha. it was worth the try. I didn't try any of their food.snacks but they looked good. If I were to come back, I may be basic and stick to a coffee.
At first I was a little irritated by people's lack of manners, and the wait but the drinks were definitely worth it. It's probably the best matcha I've ever had and I absolutely love Vietnamese coffee. I think they could improve their customer service, I mean I know it's busy but not even a hello? Also, it's packed in there so take your drink to go if you can.
I came in expecting to be all about the coffee, but the Banana Pudding Matcha completely surprised me! I'm usually not a matcha fan, but this drink won me over. It was creamy, lightly sweet, and topped with the most satisfying crunchy goodness that added the perfect texture. Then came the Phê Mê--coffee with condensed milk and black sesame cream. This was the drink for me. Rich, smooth, nutty, and unlike anything I've had before. It's one of those drinks that makes you slow down because every sip is worth savoring. The coffee isn't just delicious--it's craftsmanship in a cup. The space is inviting and makes you want to linger longer with your friends sipping on these delicious beverages.
It was a beautiful Saturday morning and we waited an hour for these drinks. We paid about $18 for a Matcha Einspanner and Hojicha Einspanner. The drinks are wonderful :) Super creamy and not too sweet. The lines are super long. The interior is airy and earthy and there is plenty of seating.
The matcha drinks here are soooo good. I did think they were expensive for the size but I understand because the quality of the drinks are crazy. The banana pudding matcha is straight up dessert- their banana pudding cream is heavenly, and I will be thinking about it for a while. I got the hojicha drink as well and it was also super yummy but I think the banana one takes the top spot here. The line is usually long but drinks come out fairly quickly! Tonsss of people here so finding a table or seat might be hard.
Arrived mid-afternoon on a weekday and there was a line out the door. Seems typical for a trendy place in Seattle. We waited ~15 mins before ordering. We ordered the matcha banana pudding and hojicha ginger tofu pudding lattes. Service took ~10 mins. The matcha banana pudding was yummy. The matcha was of good quality and the banana pudding top was a smooth, cream top that tasted just like banana pudding, with a fun crunch in the topping. The hojicha ginger tofu was a bit more adventurous in flavor. The ginger and tofu messed with my brain and made it feel like I was drinking a savory asian sauce/soup, but the drink was still sweet. I kept sipping, but the strange savory/sweet limbo never really balanced correctly to truly enjoy the drink. On the plus side, the silken tofu was fun to sip through the straw and added some protein. There is seating indoors, but the tables can fill up quickly. Some people were wfh, but most were chatting. There is 1 hr complimentary WiFi. Typical Seattle street parking. Overall, the latte flavors were fun to try and it was an aesthetic cafe. But, the prices for the lattes make them more of a novel, hyped up purchase.
Food & Drinks: Matcha Einspanner (7/10) - not the best quality matcha i've ever had but not the worst either. it was decent. i think mine was slightly on the grainier side for the matcha and more milky. the matcha was a bit overpowered or washed out but you could still taste it. the taste overall was pretty decent Xoi Man (7/10) - a bit on the saltier side, portion is a bit small, had a combination of flavors. i thought it was decent Egg Rolls (9/10) - so crispy and flavorful! these were made really well and tasted good with the fish sauce Service: It's pretty busy so there's going to be a bit of a wait, especially if you ordered food. They'll hand you a number if you decide to dine in and you place it at the table you're at and they'll bring it out to you! On the other hand, for drinks you would pick up at the front. Ambiance: It's very cute and small with limited seating. It's pretty popular and busy so it can be hard to find a table. A lot of people come and do work/study here as well so seats can be taken for a while during busy hours.
Finally made it to Phe after seeing all the debate about which café has the best matcha in Seattle. For me, this one takes the top spot--easily the best matcha I've had in Seattle so far. What I really loved is that the matcha isn't overwhelmed by milk. The tea itself is the star, giving it a rich, balanced flavor that really shines through. The atmosphere is bright and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I also loved the cute décor and drinkware--it adds to the overall experience. During my visits, I tried the banana pudding matcha, the sesame foam Vietnamese coffee, and the hojicha. Everything was excellent, and I'd happily order any of them again. They also offer a small selection of bites to pair with your drink. I didn't try any myself, but my friend enjoyed what they ordered. Seating is limited, especially on weekends, but it's also the perfect place to grab a drink to go. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it to any matcha lover.
When we were in Seattle recently, I researched great coffee spots and Phe was mentioned more than once. Once I saw that they specialized in Vietnamese coffee and they actually offered Ca Phe Muoi (salty coffee with cream), my favorite Vietnamese coffee drink, I bookmarked it for a visit. There was a line when we arrived, but there was seating available while we waited. I already knew that Ca Phe Muoi was what I wanted, so I didn't need to consult the menu, but for the reader, they offer other Vietnamese coffee drinks, matcha drinks, and seasonal specials. Food is on the menu including banh mi, sliders, croissants, and avocado toast. My drink was the perfect blend of salty and sweet. I loved the ambiance and decor with natural wood and plants for a calming vibe. I can see why Phe has such great reviews and just wish we had something like it in Vegas.
Stopped by Phe while visiting Seattle and really enjoyed it! The matcha was excellent, smooth, flavorful, and worth the stop. The ordering process was a little confusing at first. Someone hands you a menu when you get in line and tells you where to order, which felt a bit unusual, but it moved along fine once we figured it out. I was hoping to try the banana pudding matcha, but they were sold out by the time we got there later in the day. Definitely get there earlier if that's what you're after. Even without it, I'd come back for the quality of the matcha alone.
Phe had some of the best caffeine drinks I had while visiting Seattle for a long weekend. Definitely executes on the Vietnamese flavors both in its coffees as well as its teas. Parking is a PITA since it's right off Pine St but can find some street parking nearby. Expect to wait 5 - 10 minutes in line and another 10 minutes+ for the drink depending on how busy it is. Not surprised by the wait given the quality of the food. Came on two separate times; relatively empty inside in the morning but in the afternoon all seats were taken so better for takeout. Seemed like a lots of students perched up to study. Food was also really solid / more lunch focused since most meals were pretty heavy. Could definitely see this being a goto spot as a local to get my caffeine fix.
Located in Capitol Hill with street parking nearby as well as paid lots. Upon pulling up to the corner to where this was, there was a line already starting to round the corner. Upon entering, it appeared there's a good amount of indoor seating and the way their flow for ordering and receiving the drinks was great. The wait wasn't too long and the service was friendly. They were playing a lot of up beat music. Hoping to try coming out again when it's less busy. I ordered the Hojicha Latte Einspanner and I can see why people were lining up for this spot. The Hojicha has that nice roasty taste to it and was complimented by the creamy top. Safe to say, the drink didn't last long at all. Only wish is that there were bigger drink size options.
WOW Inside is huge, lots of room for seating and a line and does get very busy! Well decorated, felt very much like a shop that would be in Vietnam. Service was good; kind, patient and quick. Drinks are good! The Phe Keo is VERY sweet but I love sweet drinks. Matcha Einspanner was just okay, the cream top had some weird mucus-y texture clumps. I'd come back just for the coffee tho.
Worth the hype! I got really lucky and was able to get in line when it was manageable. The interior was so unique and reminiscent of Vietnamese coffee shops! The ambiance was great. They had a lot of great and unique drink options, but I wanted something uniquely Phe. Something that I haven't seen on menus of other coffee shops before, so that is why I went with the Phe Pho! The drink itself was so beautifully crafted. So aesthetic. The cream part of the drink was seasoned with pho spices (I think). I'm not sure, but it smelled really similar to pho! Once it was mixed into the coffee, it had a distinctive flavor that I've never had before in a coffee, but I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. read more
Phe is a modern Vietnamese cafe and one of the hottest spots to grab a matcha in the Seattle area for good reason! To get here, street parking will definitely be your best and there is a good amount of it around the area. Inside, they have an aesthetic setup with a solid amount of seating. For their menu, they have a great selection of different coffee, matcha, and hojicha drinks to choose from. Wifey and I opted to try their Koko Matcha Kloud and it was spot on. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Come stop by for yourself to decide if this spot is the top matcha spot in Seattle! read more

We were visiting Seattle and decided to give Phe a try and we're so glad we did. I got the Banana Pudding Matcha, and my boyfriend ordered the Vietnamese Coffee with Black Sesame. His drink was so good that we came back the next day so I could order it too. Fast service, friendly staff, and definitely a spot we'll come back to whenever we're in Seattle. read more

The line was out the door which seems common, here. The cafe is small, crowded, but super aesthetic! They ran out of the banana pudding matcha which is the one I really wanted to try. I got their matcha eisen-something and it was pretty good! I was disappointed that I paid almost $10 for my cup not to be full (ordered less ice), so keep that in mind when you order. It's a pricey cafe, but worth the try! read more
Poppin cafe with lots of seating and really delicious cream foam!! Very creamy banana pudding that wasn't overpoweringly sweet and hojicha + matcha was decent. Drink looks very filling but it's in a smaller sized cup with ice so I finished it no problem Tea flavor was noticeable, but felt a bit watered down as I sipped it more but could've just been the ice melting And because I got the pudding it worked really well to balance the drink out! Pudding bits of banana chunks and bread inside - they recommend not to stir so you can sip and eat as you go and taste the foam and tea individually. I agree with the tip but ended up mixing a little since I prefer creamier drinks Agree that this is one of the best matcha spots in Seattle I've tried!! Don't be deterred by the line. It moves quickly. Got the strong Vietnamese coffee (Phe Nau) and the banana pudding matcha. Both are best we've ever had!! Hand whisked matcha means no chalk or weird aftertaste. Yum!! Egg rolls delish and spam musubi a fun thing to try. read more
Love love this place! Parking is a bit of a pain but where isnt it the same everywhere in Capital Hill? When we got there the line was pretty long but moved quickly. Drinks seemed to made very efficiently so people came and went quickly. We ordered quite a few drinks and they were all delicious! A few favorites were the creme brulee phe and the banana matcha latter. I love the fact that they were not overly sweet like some other viet coffee places that I have been to. I regret not ordering a sandwich to try because I saw others order it and it looked good. I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place during our time in Seattle. I would recommend and definitely come back if I'm visiting in the future. read more

tldr: you'll find me here again with the banana pudding hojicha. Kinda pricy. Super busy. Might not have seats, despite a large space and many seating. Service: reasonably quick, it was packed in there and I didn't feel like I waited too long for my drink. Ambiance: it has a really nice, modern vibe. Lots of seating. And yet not enough seating friends and I wanted to catch up in here but there was sadly no seating despite the huge space and number of seating in the café. Drink: I ordered the banana pudding hojicha and I was blownnnnn. I'm trying to decipher how to make this banana pudding top myself for home, ill be back for this drink again. The banana pudding hojicha was - $10 probably because of the banana pudding. My friends drinks were comparably more inexpensive, around $7-$9. The hojicha was nutty, and unsweetened. Most of my sweetness came from the banana pudding and toffee sprinkles. I do recommend trying this drink! read more
We came here as soon as it opened at 9am on a Saturday, and within 5 minutes there was already a line out! Definitely be prepared to be in a swarmed environment. We ordered a chicken banh mi for food, and regular latte and Strawberry matcha. The banh mi was a typical banh mi, nothing outstanding. However, I thought it was pretty filling for an $11 sandwich option in capitol hill area. The coffee was not anything special either, but this is probably because I didn't fully commit and get the full Vietnamese coffee version with the sweeteners and all. So that is probably my fault. The ambiance is probably what makes this place stand out. The neatly organized books on the shelf, the little child-sized camping chairs to sit on, the clean coffee tables, everything works together to give off a good neighborhood vibes. Great if you're nearby, and I dare say, it's worth the trip to try it out if you're into the instagram show off. But otherwise, wouldn't try to become a regular at this place. read more

Line was out the door and nearly up the street on a Sunday afternoon where we ended up waiting 45 minutes just to order since there was only one person on register. Wish they would add another cashier or move to kiosk ordering. Drinks only took about 10 minutes to get so they're pretty efficient there. Banana pudding matcha cost $11 and was not worth the price. Weak flavors in both the pudding and matcha, and small in size (considering I'm from the Bay, that's saying a lot). I do appreciate how they open the garage door for more space and natural lighting. Makes the cafe feel less crowded. read more

this was one of two cafes my boyfriend and i went to while visiting seattle and overall we thought it was pretty okay. the good: i really liked the interior, there was a good amount of seating and it felt very airy and open since the whole front wall/window opens. there's also a bar where you can watch the matcha being whisked! and the girl taking our order was really kind. the bad: the banana pudding matcha was $11 we didn't realize until it was rung up but $11 seemed pretty crazy compared to what we're used to in socal. it was also quite underwhelming and we felt it lacked flavor considering the price. there is also no real waiting area, if you're able to snag a table or seat it's pretty loud inside so you probably won't hear your order being called from the bar, otherwise you have to wait outside the shop in the sidewalk which blocks the walkway when it's busy. overall i thought it was just okay. it was good to try once but i don't think i'd come back. read more

I'm from San Diego and I'll admit their matcha beats any matcha I've tried from San Diego. Is it the best matcha I've had in the states? No, but you can tell they use quality grade powder! Every drink is made to order so there was a long line when we initially came. I think we waited around 30 mins? But I think the wait was worth it solely for their phe creme brulee which is seasonal! The viet coffee is so strong and it paired so nicely with the thick custard. Highly recommend if you see it on the menu!! read more
Really enjoyed this spot! The place was super spacious and had dedicated seats for waiting for to go drinks as well as a sit down area for people to hang out. They also have a food menu which is great since a lot of coffee shops don't offer fresh food from the kitchen. I Got the chicken (+$1) banh mi with egg (+$3) on it as well a hojicha drink with cream on top. I was happy with the staff being able to do no sugar in the hojicha drink and only add the cream on top. it was a perfect balance for me! Theres other shops Im unable to remove the sweetener from the drink so this was a plus for me. The banh mi was very fresh and balanced with flavor. I would say it s a bit pricey but it was made well so Im not upset. If anyone is in the Capital Hill area I'd highly recommend this place. As one of the most popular Capitol Hill based cafes, "Phe" (#1) has been a hype machine since the day it opened (#2). The sprawling space is usually crawling with Gen Z youngins (#3), where lines are never-ending and waiting is part of the experience. Thankfully, the coffee is been good enough to where I look forward to coming each time. This is no small coffee cafe, but a large space with lots of room to stretch and a bustling staff to boot. They've been quite good at managing the wines and getting drinks out in a timely manner. Prices are standard for the area where the average coffee is around $6 and some change. Within their classic drinks, the flat white, cappuccino, latte, and Americano were practically perfect. The latte art was on point and I love the fact they offer a flight for various kinds of drinks they offer. Their nitro cold brew is creamy as it is potent. The peach fruit tea is surprisingly refreshing and an ideal summertime drink. The matcha options are also quite extensive. The banana matcha is strangely addicting, but the pandan coconut matcha will forever be my favorite. Many others can be seen ordering the strawberry matcha cloud, which can only be iced. I also feel some type of way about their phe coffee, which is their classic Vietnamese iced coffee. It has just the right amount of sweetness and good balance between coffee and condensed milk. There are several ube drinks ons drinks on the menu, which includes ubelicious and my preferred drink of a light ube latte. Seasonal drinks should also not be missed. In addition to the Earl Gray Matcha, the egg coffee has been excellent. They also are offering a peppermint mocha and a northern comfort, just in time for the holidays. Parking is going to be a challenge. Unless one is waiting in the car and illegally parking on the street or one got lucky enough to actually park in a space, which is not likely during peak hours. _________ (#1) Phe as in "Cà phê" i.e. Vietnamese coffee. [IN A NUTSHELL] expensive but great taste matcha [VERDICT] - APPROVED [RUN-DOWN] Came across this place while in Seattle and did not know that this was a popular place. We read that there was usually long lines but just wanted something quick. When we got there in the morning on a Friday there was no line. A great matcha spot but I really think that it is overpriced. Nonetheless it was still good. I do not think the price was worth it for this, but to try once, I don't mind. [SCORE & ORDER] OVERALL: 3.75/5 Matcha Einspanner $8.50 (3.75/5) -Matcha Latte with Sweet Cream Top -This was a classic matcha drink that you know is made fresh each cup because they make it infant of you. The flavor of matcha was there and it was not too powerful. I decided to get the einspanner because it wanted more creamy and sweet. I would recommend getting this one. Terrible service... My friends and I were so excited to try this place out because we have had heard great things. We did a roadtrip from LA to Oregon and then Oregon to Washington. We were finally in the area to try Phe out and once we got there we were not greeted by the staff but with a long line. This only meant the drinks are really good right? Once it was our time to order, the lady behind the register had the most bothered face on her. I understand, dealing with a "rush" of paying customers, it can get overwhelming, but it shouldn't be taken out on others. Anyways, we tried very hard to be nice to the worker and we asked questions about the matcha to get an idea on which to order but her attitude was completely disrespectful. I don't think this worker wanted to answer any of our questions or even help us at all. She laughed and with an attitude said "ha what?" when my friend asked about the matcha quality and notes that can be expected. Again, I understand working in customer service can get overwhelming sometimes, especially on a Friday morning but this experience just made us very uncomfortable and not welcoming in the slightest. It also makes it difficult to justify a $12 matcha when the staff is horrible (receipt in picture). The drink itself was good and the presentation was great but I'm sure you can find the same elsewhere in the city with much better customer service. read more
If youre looking for amazing iced coffee and matcha, look no further. The long line truly spoke for itself. I got the banana pudding matcha which was 9/10. SOOOO GOOD. Its more of a dessert than a drink bc they give u a spoon. But i totally recommend this. My mom got the sesame cream Vietnamese coffee and that was also 10/10 if you like sesame you need to try that one. Their breakfast sliders were pretty good too I loved the green dipping sauce more than the chipotle one. You have to try this ive youre in the area! read more
A very decent matcha latte, but at a pretty high price point. I'm sure they use good matcha, as the flavor was strong and earthy. But not sure if it was worth the price increase over other places. May be more worth it to get the more fun drinks here. read more
I've heard from friends and saw posts on social media recommending this shop for its drink selection, so I was excited to check out the spot! The space is really nice and modern, a chill area for studying and hanging out. I ordered an iced hojicha latte einspanner, and my friend got a black sesame coffee with less ice. At first, I felt a little disappointed by the size of the cups before realizing that the shape is less tapered than usual, and therefore holds a good amount. The hojicha flavor is strong, not too sweet, and in addition to the cream was very rich. I was satisfied with my drink, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order it again. There were other items on the menu that looked pretty interesting (earl grey matcha, chestnut matcha latte etc.), so if I happen to be around the area, I'd drop by to try more drinks! read more
I don't know if I can find a stronger and better Vietnamese coffee around. I love love strong Vietnamese coffee that's original and I think this one checks all the boxes. It was really busy- line out the door kind of busy the first time I came on Sunday. Got in line and it went very quick and efficiently which I love. Fantastic service by the entire staff from ordering all the way to getting the coffee and matcha. It was so good I came back Monday and got another coffee to help with getting through a rough work day. I got the musubi just to try and it was also amazing! Plenty of seating to stay for awhile if that's the vibe. There are unique small chairs for people to sit while waiting for their orders too. read more
Guys unfortunately this is worry the hype. So much so I almost ordered a second trip. First thing if you're expecting to find seating on the weekend here try again because it's packed and small. We got luck my and got these tiny chairs lol. Either way I got the basic matcha latte and wow. First I love that you can watch them make the matcha. This is high quality truly so tasty!!! read more

Phe! is a Vietnamese-owned café that truly lives up to the hype. They specialize in Vietnamese coffee, which is my personal favorite, but their matcha and seasonal drinks are also excellent. I love that I can switch things up depending on my mood. I've tried the crème brûlée coffee, corn coffee, strawberry matcha, and seasonal green Thai tea--everything has been delicious with zero complaints on taste. Prices are on the higher side, and it can get a bit busy, but the interior is cute and there's plenty of seating. Service is always friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back for more--highly recommend for any coffee or tea lover! read more

Walked in at 11:30 AM and for the first time, no line! It's usually pretty crowded around lunch time, but for the next few days, you might actually have a chance to snag a table. The cold spell and BTS presale/gm tix are likely keeping folks at home Their hojicha latte was the best I've had in the States - strong tea flavor and that banana pudding: how did they create such a flavorful, creamy texture? I'll def get this again, but I'd want to try their other matcha/hojicha lattes on their menu (there's just so many to choose from and I don't think you can go wrong w/ any of them). I love what they've done to the interior: very aesop, japandi, mid century modern. The bookshelf in the back was a surprise, all sorts of used books. It makes me wonder if they'll let customers donate any of their books. How cool would it be though to see an old book of yours at this cafe if they were to make that happen... read more

Okay Capitol Hill I see youuuu! Last time I came to Seattle 8 years ago, there weren't very many matcha or Asian tea spots so I was pleased to find one here! In terms of accessibility, it's pretty walkable from the Capitol Hill shuttle and Link Train station. There was quite a long line where we waited for ~25 minutes, but it felt pretty quick once you ordered. I will say it was really busy inside...almost claustrophobic even though there were lots of tables and chairs so be prepared to wait! Interior is warm with the lighting and vases on the shelves. Light wood and cool tones! Very neat and clean. Their menu is standard with fun drink options with hojicha, matcha, and their viet coffee. My boyfriend isn't a huge fan of coffee, so we were glad to see there were a few other tea options. Cups are so cute! What we got: - Honeycomb Viet Coffee: comes with caramel and vanilla cold foam and generous pieces of honeycomb! honeycomb was too much for me even though the barista said to dip it. found this drink a bit overwhelming but strong coffee and yummy foam - Honey Yuzu Chrysanthemum Tea: absolutely refreshing & on the sweeter side, comes with tea jelly, i miss her Overall, I'd expect a wait for both ordering and getting your drinks. The line seems intimidating since the outside looks pretty small, but there were options for everyone. I'd like to come back again and try their matcha as I wanted to try something new this time. read more

Finally had the chance to come here after hearing about their matcha for so long and it was definitely worth the hype!! The wait was not as long as I expected. I came at around 2:50pm on a Saturday and got our drinks 30 minutes after. The line moves pretty quickly. The banana pudding with matcha latte seemed most popular so I chose that one. I liked how the barista who made my drink filled it to the brim!! Though it definitely depends on who makes your drinks since I saw some baristas left room for the banana pudding lol. The matcha latte was amazing but the banana pudding was ok. It wasn't worth the 3 extra dollars for it. If you don't particularly like banana pudding, I'd recommend just getting the matcha latte. The einspanner was delicious as well. Their matcha flavor is quite strong and on the less sweet side which I love! Seating is quite small, with super small chairs and little tables on one side, more proper booth and chair seating on the other side of the restaurant but taken up by people studying and such. It is a pretty nice vibe for a cafe to hangout in! read more

Walking into the cafe it was very modern and simplistic with earthy tones and decor. The baristas have a very calm, chill, friendly demeanor but more on the quiet side matching the ambiance. All the baristas were whisking the matcha thoroughly and doing a great job. They were locked in! We enjoyed sitting in the small seats with the small tables watching the drinks being made with the hustle and bustle as they get super busy. Important part now...the drinks! We skipped the food when we stopped by on Halloween morning but we can try another time possibly. My man ordered the Hojicha Latte Iced which was delicious and beautifully presented with a cute flower. The Hojicha Latte here I actually prefer over the one at Nana's Green Tea cafe. We also ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte which was the star of the show. Damn that pudding is delicious and just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The drink is $11 so it's expensive but it was worth it as the pudding had actual banana in it and the matcha was great quality. An amazing dessert type matcha drink. As this place is on the pricier side I don't see myself stopping by often but it's definitely a place I see myself coming on a special occasion like my birthday for example. Super delicious drinks!!! Waited for about 20 minutes to order, and unfortunately by the time we got to the front of the line they ran out of the matcha banana pudding (tragic). I ended up getting a matcha earl gray latte, which I was pleasantly surprised by. The early gray was pretty strong- initially the floral taste hits you and you finish with a matcha aftertaste. My friend got a matcha latte with oat milk and we were both very happy with the quality of our drinks. It can be challenging to find a good matcha latte, especially since most taste either bitter, grassy, or milky. Probably wouldn't wait in that long of a line again but I didn't regret it. There seems to be a decent amount of seating inside, but it does get busy so would prepare to just take your drinks to go. read more
I love how strong the matcha flavor was in the matcha einspanner! Creamy and just the right amount of sweetness! Came in on a Thursday afternoon and only waited around 20 minutes to order and get my drink! The matcha is made to order, hence, very authentic and fresh. I also appreciate that they have a complimentary syrup dispenser for customers who may like their drinks a tad bit sweeter. Friendly workers and very nice aesthetic decor inside! Lots of chairs and tables; a louder atmosphere, but still spacious enough to study and hangout with friends. Only downside is that the drinks are expensiveeeee!! I'm used to getting my matchas in LA for ~$6 so this was a big surprise to me to be charged $10 for a cup. read more

Phe was such a cute spot, and I really enjoyed everything we tried. The sliders were amazing and definitely a must-try tbh. they were flavorful, satisfying, and probably my favorite item. I've been here probably 10+ times already - hands down the best matcha latte in Seattle. I've tried all of the matcha latte flavors here, including Hoa (more floral) and Rau (more bitter) and they were all amazing. It is on the pricier side per cup, but the quality shows (compared to the other places in Seattle). I've tried working here a few times; there's plenty of seating, but it does get quite loud with the music and overall ambiance, and it fills up quickly. I'd recommend coming on a weekday, as weekend lines can get very long. read more
Really cute coffee/matcha place in Seattle! My friend highly recommended Phe, and it did not disappoint. On the weekend, there was a line out the door and the inside was buzzing with lots of people. The interior was clean, well-decorated, and minimalistic. It was pretty loud inside. The menu had a lot of delicious looking options. I ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha and tried their C3 Vietnamese coffee. Generally their drinks were on the more expensive side, but both were delicious! The banana pudding was a sweet creamy scoop on top of the drink. It had little chunks of fresh banana and crunchy toffee sprinkled on top. The matcha itself was not too bitter and not too sweet. I'd recommend eating a bite of the banana pudding and then sipping the matcha to enjoy all the flavors. The C3 Vietnamese coffee was strong, rich, and well-balanced. Very solid staple and flavor. Overall, I really liked this place and its vibe. I would definitely come back to try more of their creative drinks. read more
It was my second time at Phe. We got the honeycomb coffee, which was really good, and the seasonal crème brûlée coffee. I ordered both drinks less sweet and they were perfect. We also tried the banana pudding matcha, which was delicious -- it had real chunks of banana and was super creamy and decadent. The line was pretty long when we got there, and we waited about 10 minutes for our drinks. I think it was worth the wait, but I probably wouldn't wait much longer than that. Overall, the coffee is strong and tasty, but it's definitely on the pricier side. I'd come here once in a while for a fun treat, but it's not somewhere I'd go every day. read more

Best matcha/coffee spot in Seattle! The lines aren't too long before 10 AM on the weekends or when it's raining! There's a lot of seating inside and you are usually able to find a table or quickly wait for one. There's drinks are super delicious and beautiful. Highly recommend the drinks special to phe (hot chocolate coffee, banana pudding matcha). read more
