First of all, this Peruvian restaurant improves every time I visit. I have been here over 5 times in the past year and I always notice they are working towards an overall improvement. -Food: the menu has included new items for Vegetarians. Their Arugula salad is delicious, well proportioned, and you can add meat. Several dishes are traditional and several are prepared to satisfy the American palate. Several of my favorites during my last visit were the Ceviche supreme.. well done, fresh fish with lime juice and included fried calamari. Picante de camarones.. spicy shrimp in a delicious and spicy sauce with white rice. Their fried rice is outstanding.. (and I have tried several of them). Lomo saltado.. beef strips with sauteed Spanish onions, tomatoes in a soy sauce.. very authentic. Also, drinks were good, chicha sour and algaborrina sour were strong, right amount of sweetness, overall delicious. - Service: there is no doubt that this restaurant is growing. My last visit was during Independence day, no question everyone wanted a taste of Peru. The manager acknowledged the overwhelming demand and is happy to report they keep working to accommodate more patrons with a satisfactory time served. My food didn't take very long, considering the amount of customers.. completely packed including outside seating. I perhaps give them a break in service because I see they keep improving and the food is truly enjoyable. I did mention to the manager an area where they could improve more as a suggestion than a demand and as a true "compatriota" (fellow citizen), supporting the small business community is what I support. -Location: easy access, sign can be seen from route 28. -Prices: It's on a average range of prices for the area. If you are looking for something cheaper you may lose in flavor. I rate 5 in food; and 4 in service. I WOULD recommend this restaurant. I suggest to visit and try several dishes before making your final opinion. ohhh and if you have a sweet tooth, order the "tres leches" cake, and picarones. Enjoy! read more

There is something special about a good Peruvian Chicken restaurant -- the rotisserie chicken with its flavorful flakey skin....retaining the moisture of the chicken itself. The store itself should be a little -- utilitarian with the smell of the chicken dominating and the menu limited. Peru 703 hits the mark on the food but tries to elevate the experience as a more elegant restaurant. The menu is far more expansive with the decor and atmosphere inviting you to relax. All this is well done--- unless you want the first more utilitarian experience. Recommended as long as you realize you are going to a real Brazilian restaurant. read more

We've gone a few times now and they have always been accommodating and friendly. Food quality has been great no matter what we order and even when we showed up 30 minutes prior to close, we were served with a friendly smile and patience. On Sunday I went to eat with my husband and my son, the delicious food, but the service was very bad, the waitress did not know anything about Peruvian food, it took a long time, and we spent little and added the tip, I don't think that This restaurant's gesture should train their waiters more and not tip giving bad service. read more

This place has great food but the service is EXTREMELY slow. I've been here two times, and both times it was very slow. I believe they only have one chef working most of the time, and they should really add another. If your willing to wait 20 mins for an app, and another 15-20 for food, go ahead. So I read a handful of reviews on here with people hammering this place for its service yea yea yea whatever the main thing that is important to me wherever I go is the food I'm going to eat. If I was looking for my food to come out in two minutes, I would go to McDonalds. I came here with a friend a couple weeks ago because I couldn't stop thinking about my trip that I took to Peru this past January and all of the delicious ceviche that I ate while I was there. When I got there it was apparent that they were understaffed so my friend and I just sat ourselves. Our lovely waitress was out to take our drink orders shortly after. The couple at a nearby table told us how good their food was and they said the ceviche was excellent, just what I was hoping. We each had pisco sours and I ordered their ceviche and my friend had the lomo saltado, both were excellent and really just as I had remembered from the several times that I had each dish while I was in Peru. I can't wait to go back and try more of the dishes, particularly the beef heart. One thing I did find interesting though was the fact that our pisco sours were served in wine glasses and with cinnamon on top instead of bitters. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting as I have never heard of them being made like that, but it wasn't bad. read more

A great stop to satisfy your peruvian food cravings with a good variety in the menu. Service was fast and attentive. Portions served are great for the cost. The food is authentic, the corn they served is peruvian corn. They also provide a side of canchita (toasted corn) to munch on as you wait for food. My husband, my toddler and I decided to go here for lunch today it was not busy but for some reason it took them 5 minutes to sit us down, then took around 20 minutes to go and ask for our drinks and another 60 minutes to get our not delicious food we got milanesa de pollo it was kind of burned. The tables were dirty. I ask for a small size of huancaina sauce they charge $4.00 and to be honest was not good no flavor. I tried the Ceviche fish only and Jalea mix, Ceviche was horrible,, I asked the server what kind of fish it was and it was tilapia. if you are not inform, Tilapia comes frozen from China and it is farm raised, google it and see how bad it is for you, we all know how China grow its products. Second the temperature was a bit warm for a ceviche and it did not taste fresh, and definitely did not taste like ceviche suppose to taste like and to top it off, I told the server that my partner and I were going to share the ceviche and he did not bring any appetizer plates after bringing he ceviche over, I had to wait then get his attention so we can get two sharing plates. The jalea was saggy, the batter was either not cold enough or the oil wasn't hot enough, the fried yuca was the best part, the creamy sauce was also runny and need it some flavor as well. I finish my chicha morada in two sips, that was the best part of the meal but I was never asked for a refill and my water was brought after the meal was over. I visit this establishment in a regular basis, and I noticed when the chef is not there (which is a old man, a bit on the heavy side, about 5.7 tall) the food is bad which by the way on my way out I saw him taking a break and eating his food. Recommendation is either, you don't waste your money here, because you gamble and see if the chef is there to cook your food and the service is just bad, or the chef is there to cook your food and the service is still bad... for me it was the last time I spend money here... read more

This is my families go-to Peruvian restaurant. We love all their food, especially the ceviche, lomo saltado, tacu tacu. Everything is very very good!! Came back with some friends after the name change and the food was good but overpriced. My friends ordered a shrimp ceviche which was not on the menu and server did not let them know the price which we all assumed it was the same as the traditional ceviche, but they charged $22 for an appetizer size shrimp ceviche. 18% Gratuity is included and server said it was on the menu but we never found it. My husband and I went to this restaurant last week because he had never tried Peruvian food before. They were not very busy but the restaurant was clean and there were a few people eating. The food was decent but I think a bit overpriced, I've been to other Peruvian restaurants and have paid less. My husband is peruvian and I was hesitant to suggest this place because I was worried it wouldn't live up to his standards but HE loved it. We ordered way more food than we needed but wanted to try several items. We got the ceviche mixto which was fresh and flavorful. The beef empanada was awesome and I loved the sprinkle of powdered sugar- a nice touch. I love yucca and they green and yellow sauce that came with for dipping was perfect. My husband had the lomo Saltado and was satisfied with his choice. I had the aji de gallina and it was creamy and tasty and I would definitely order again. Horrible! We just left from there and if you have more then 2 hours to waste then it's the place for you! It was my family and I first time going there, we saw the reviews and the menu and thought this would be a great place to end our Sunday. I have a huge family and thought we would enjoy a good evening eating our favorite Peruvian food. Only to be the OPOSIT! I was shocked and so upset to see how there was absolutely no team work in that restaurant. The server Carlos was great but sadly it didn't matter because he was apparently the only person working there. There was a hostess and manager there but neither them bothered helping Carlos out. Carlos was the only one and he was serving and attending other tables while I saw our food stacking under window. Neither did the manager or the hostess bother helping Carlos brining out our food while Carlos served other tables. Therefore by the time Carlos got our food most of our plates were COLD! My husbands food was cold and he told Carlos to remake it. So then Carlos goes again to serve while then my husbands food was ready and there again it is just sitting under the window!! And still the supposedly MANAGER DID NOTHING TO BRING HIS FOOD OUT! So therefore again my husbands food was cold! I turn around and there's so many tables who were waiting to be attended but apparently the manager couldn't step in and help. Carlos was also the bartender! How is it possible in a busy restaurant Sunday dinner rush that only have ONE SERVER WITH 5 tables inside and 4 tables waiting outside. And the manager just standing there! I'm beyond upset! That restaurant is a mess! Where is the manager?? There was a table waiting 20 mins waiving at the server to get attended! It was not the servers fault how poor management is! Best Peruvian food. Great customer service. I have to say I came a couple years ago when it opened, the food was really bad but it has improved much more. Ran out of chicken! Went for early afternoon Sunday dinner and no chicken, which is their main draw. We ordered a paella and a tender beef dish instead. The beef was undercooked and red inside, so we sent it back. The paella dish was excellent, as was the grilled shrimp appetizer. Maybe we just came at a bad time or they had a kitchen issue, but Peruvian chicken is what we came for. By the time our food did come out, we saw some chicken dishes come out from the kitchen, which just finished off our respect for this place. read more
