I got their lomo saltado! It was SO delicious the best I have had in the DMV. My friend got their leche de Tigre and it was also tasty. I will say serve is slow only one waitress for the entire restaurant. I will definitely be returning for the lomo

The food is very delicious! This was my second time here! This place is hard to find, as it is in the back of a plaza. The server was very friendly, and the food was pretty good and affordable! This is as authentic as you can get when it comes to Peruvian food! The Jalea mixta is also a very delicious dish as well!

Great food. I got the bistec and tallarin which was good and plentiful. My wife got the lomo saltado which also has great flavor.

We found this spot after a bad experience at another nearby restaurant . We were very pleased with the food. We will be back!

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about this place -- every…read moresingle time I go, I leave beyond satisfied, a little stuffed, and with money still in my pocket. That combo is rare and I refuse to take it for granted. The food is just incredible across the board. And I mean ALL of it. I have yet to order something that didn't completely deliver. The flavors are bold, authentic, and made with what clearly feels like actual care and love going into every dish. It's the kind of food that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate what's happening. And the prices? Beyond reasonable. You are getting so much food and flavor for what you pay -- it never feels like a splurge even when you go all out on the order. I find myself coming back any chance I get and honestly the hardest part of the visit is just deciding what to get because everything is that good. It's become one of those non-negotiable spots for me -- the kind of place I'll drive for and never think twice about. If you're in the Manassas area and you haven't been to La Jarochita yet, fix that immediately. You will not regret it, you will not leave hungry, and your wallet will thank you.

We drove out of our way to try this place and honestly it was a bit confusing to figure out where to order. There are two lines and it's not very clear which one we are supposed to get in for what. Especially because some of the items are duplicate on both menus. I noticed there was barely anyone in the "restaurant" line. Anyway, we sort of got a little bit of everything and wasn't completely brown away. I liked that they let you add your own toppings, and all of the sauces that have available were great. But the taco meats all sort of lacked a bit of flavor. Carnitas are my favorite but these were a bit inconsistent. Some pieces were very nice and juicy where others were hard to chew. I will say the place is very clean and spacious. They're pretty quick with your order as well. The food was lacking flavor for me personally. Overall, I don't think I would go back.

La Jarochita Restaurant - They have an entire concha wall which is always an indication of good things to come. I had lunch here and their food was spot on.

They had a sidewalk sign advertising their specials so my curiosity got me. They chip & salsa you at the outset, the chips were fresh, warm and tasty...the salsa meeh. I was impressed at the size of this place. Enough room for several pool tables and it appears that for the weekend, they can turn this place from restaurant/game room/bar to 'club'. I tried a couple of chicken tacos and was pleased. You have a choice of soft flour tortillas or had corn. The chicken was generous and tasty. I really like that they briing the cheese, tomatoes, cilantro and fresh lime on a side plate. I was disappointed with the salsa, it was was void of any real flavor. It was more like tomoato soup with tabasco sauce in it. They have a very good menu with a good selection of seafood, beef, chicken & pork. I'll be going back to try some other menu items...also interested to try their sopa de polo.

In El Salvador, desayuno típico is made up of eggs, crema, chorizo, beans, plátanos, cheese, and tortillas. However, at el Espino (a self-described Salvadoran restaurant) desayuno is eggs, beans, plantains, avocado, hard cheese, rice, and tortillas. As a pregnant woman dying for a typical Salvadoran breakfast, this place missed the mark, especially for $23 (2 breakfasts and 2 beverages). Like I said the service is great, the waitresses are very nice and quick. The (breakfast) food is just overpriced and not authentic or typical to Salvi cuisine. I've been to El Salvador enough times to have high standards for desayuno típico.
