Absolutely WONDERFUL experience! Honey was our server and she was as sweet as her name. We were well served and she came back at the perfect times to check back in on us. Very polite and wonderful to talk to. The ambiance of El Barco is something not common. It's very Latin and there are mariachi walking around (you can request songs for free) and man, can they SING! We came in on a rainy Friday and it wasn't too full, but not too empty. The food is always delicious. We had the molcajete fabuloso and it lives up to its name. Please never change the recipe unless it's to make it better. Absolutely delicious. Nearly couldn't house it. I recommend it as a plate to share with 2-3 people, if you're of smaller appetite like myself. If you can eat, then I recommend this. BE WARNED THOUGH! THE PORTIONS ARE BIG. Food is delicious. Always a five stars from me

Had a fabulous dinner at Mariscos El Barco!! The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing!! We ordered ceviche especial de camaron for our appetizer. From the grill we had the red snapper and la parrillada. Everything was amazing and with the portions size you get your money worth. The drinks were delicious and beautiful. Set was our server and he was great. Love the decor and live mariachi music. Looking forward to going again

Margaritas are really good and tasty

Veronica & Jennifer were exceptional in their service, great charisma and awesome customer service skills. This place is worth every $$$$ The FOOD is phenomenal and the environment family oriented. Thanks for making my MOM feel special on her birthday, this a place highly recommended and one I will visit again and again.

I thought that this place is Amazing for Latino style seafood! The ambience is great, can get loud with the mariachi going around singing byt overall enjoyable. The service although they get very busy on weekends is still great! I highly recommend if you are looking for latino style seafood. They have great prices too!

Bad food service cold and expired food also overstimulating loud music for absolute no reason this place should close down for its overpriced food when its cooked poorly this place should deserve a permanent shut down i also went to vomit so bad in the bathroom

We've tried to eat here a few times, but the wait was always over an hour--no reservations or waitlist. Last Sunday, we finally got lucky and were seated right away. Our server, Set, was super friendly, knowledgeable, and gave great food and drink recommendations. Honestly, we didn't even pay much attention to what we ordered, so we were all shocked when this massive dish showed up. Even our toddlers helped devour it! The micheladas were huge and fully loaded (yes, there's beer under all that). Food was amazing, and service was quick. Definitely visiting again!

Chicken fajitas was so greasy and look like sloop. Very loud in there with the mariachi band.

The food is delicious and the large quantity they give really balances out with the prices! The waitress/waiters are usually friendly and attentive! And of course the music was wonderful I love the mariachis. However during afternoon weekends expect long waits.

A hidden gem with the best seafood around and lively atmosphere. It is like no other!

I have never been to a Mexican seafood restaurant like this before, and everything was delicious! This was such a unique dining experience for us. The place was very spacious and clean, has an extensive menu, and friendly and helpful staff. Our entrees were delicious, but our desserts were the perfect end to our meal with churros and tres leche! I posted photos of the entire menu. TONS of options and great cocktails! You should definitely check out this place if you haven't and get a cool experience. Definitely for seafood lovers who are willing to be open-minded to try new things. This place is kid-friendly with cheese pizza, chicken tenders, and high chairs as well as changing tables in both bathrooms. Enjoy!

Absolutely AMAZING!!! This place is so authentic! Gives you that vibe of a Mexican restaurant in Mexico especially with the mariachis singing from table to table. Service was ON POINT even though they were super busy. Food was delicious and everything is extra huge. I suggest sharing a plate. Definitely for two people. They have very cool and unique drinks too! Strongly recommend it!

One…read morething I wasn't a fan of was the graffiti on the doors and walls - It just feels like vandalism that the owners didn't care to clean up! Not sure if this is part of the chain's aesthetic, and if it's like this at every location or not... It was even in the bathroom, and clearly people took it too far, because next to the only urinal was a giant "F*** YOU", and it was crossed out by one big line, and not at all removed or attempted to be removed. To me it just seems too chaotic and encourages deviant behavior... This is not somewhere that I would bring my kids or family members, because of stuff like that. The food was ready when I got there, but I still had to stand around for a few minutes before someone finally came along and handed my order to me. I got the Catfish Basket with onion rings. It was about $16. I took the meal home and surprisingly the food was still piping hot when I sat down to eat it. The fish was excellent. There is the comment being made that the food is 'greasy', but I mean, it's fish - and it's fried... what do you expect? ...So, yes, the food was greasy, but that's part of the joy to it. If you want to eat healthy, go to Wegmans or Kroger. The fish was excellent. The breading was crunchy. The fish was soft and tender. No odor. Great seasoning - not too much, not too little. Not spicy at all (trust me, I'd be the first to tell you!) The onion rings were a bit on the less crispy side, not quite soggy, but still delicious none the less. The inner breading was just a bit spongy. They aren't like Outback's fried to a crisp onion rings/petals. The bag contained two moist towelettes and a pair of food grade disposable gloves, for those who indulge in the messiest of foods from here - not for simple fish. Also, when at the counter they wanted to know if I wanted any sauces. I did not, but I appreciated the gesture. I was happy with my service here and with the food overall. The restaurants appeal and decor gets a 5/10, because while the decor was nice and the wood facade of the furniture and structure were great, they were caked in a myriad of profanity and anarchy, as mentioned before about the graffiti-like markings. The food gets a 9/10, while it did have minor issues, it was overall an amazing lunch! The staff gets a 9.5/10 as well - While I was acknowledge once by a passing staff member running food to a table, I still had to wait a little while to be serviced, at the busiest time of day. I appreciate their time and efforts.

We were the first to enter and the drinks were delicious. I had the hand grenade and it tasted like New Orleans. Could've been a little stronger. The crawfish was tender and my brother thought the grits were thick enough to be perfect. I would recommend this to anyone in the area! Wasn't cafe du monde beignets, more like donuts. Same with the frosted banana bread pudding dessert- not authentic but good and sweet. Very limited parking; however there is a parking lot two blocks away. Also, steer clear of first Fridays (per the waitress) it gets really crowded and they shut down the street.

I had the Cedar Plank Salmon, which was moist and well complimented by the red pepper coulis. My wife ordered the Cilantro Lime Roasted Grouper. The lime from the compound butter was fantastic, though if I were to criticize there was too much jasmine rice. The carrots were also amazing. We started with the excellent clam chowder. It's a little thinner than a traditional New England chowder, but much more flavorful. We saved room for dessert and loved the key lime pie. We had our eyes on the pumpkin bread pudding, but they had unfortunately run out (maybe next time!). A huge shoutout to our bartender, Jesica. She whipped up an Old Fashioned based specifically on my flavor profile requests, and it was spot on. She made excellent recommendations throughout our meal, as well. Service at the bar was really fantastic. The only downside to the evening was our seating; we were at the bar right by the door. It got a little drafty and we caught some cigarette smoke whenever the door opened. Not a dealbreaker, but we'll definitely look to sit further inside next time. We will be back!"
