A4. Fried Calamari C1. Special Combo
    Sahra K.

I love this restaurant! I came with my boyfriend on Sunday afternoon, we had the place to ourselves. The service was quick and everything was delicious! Food came out quick. The decor is so pretty as well! A nice vibe. We ordered 2 of the blue cocktails which were made strong, the C1 special combo with hot mixed sauce, fried calamari appetizer, and a shrimp poboy with Cajun fries. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. The sauce on the boil was soo delicious. They have a big menu, so I'll definitely be back soon to try the fried catfish!

This seafood restaurant was highly recommended. The service and ambience were superb. Our server Emily was very professional, amicable, and made sure all our needs were met. The seafood: crabs & shrimp were excellent. My favorite foods were the hushpuppies & calamari. I have not had fresh seafood for so many years, so this place was very nice to eat at and enjoy fresh seafood.

From a 3-star to a 4-star review I will definitely make it return trip because of Groupon and the service in this establishment. Just a warning, do not order the Crawfish here! Get your group on knubs ready for $15 you get $30 worth of food Came in at 3pm on a Saturday and wonder why there is nobody in here maybe because the price is pretty steep? I do not know but it can't be because of the service because the service is pretty good here. I ordered the $5 lobster bisque, oyster basket with seasoned fries and a pound of buttery garlic seasoned crawfish and a beer for $6. The oysters and seasoned fries were okay as well as the lobster bisque not a home run out of the ballpark but it was not bad at all. What was bad is the crawfish they offer you for $13 a pound. Being so far from home I decided to bite, boy was I wrong on that and as I voiced my opinion on the Crawfish the waitress or whoever the lady was, told me that since I did not like it. She understood because she did visit New Orleans and understands what FRESH crawfish is and decided to give me something else which would have been the crab legs. If not for that gesture I definitely would not have been back and would have been a three-star review so make your own assertion on this if you're not from the South, then this is probably your cup of tea if you don't order the said, crawfish! This is worth another Groupon try but maybe next time try the crabs

The food here was delicious and served hot. It has a super cute vibe, and the staff is attentive. I had the catfish and the Cajun rice. I recommend this place if you're in the mood for some tasty seafood.

The restaurant is decorated very nicely for the theme- one of the kids said it reminded them of SpongeBob! We had several different boils which were all amazing- Blue crab, shrimp, crayfish, sausage. The shrimp po'boy was a hit! Large sandwich with plenty of sauce. The fried shrimp basket was large- plenty for one person and tasty. We also shared the hush puppies- and they were delicious!

I got the F5 Fried Catfish basket and it was amazing. The fish was very tender and almost falling apart in my mouth, as soon as it entered. The breading is a nice flaky and airy mix, NOT the chicken tender style hard crumb style you would expect most places to use... it really lends well to the light and delicious feel and taste of the fish. The fish was sat upon a bed of fries. The fries were the nice light and crunchy style you get at places like Checkers and BonChon. They're really good! The only thing I didn't like about my experience was the packaging the fish/fries came in.. They came in a cardboard box (waxy covered inside) which was open and not sealed fully. The top was bowed up and open, with the sides being too small. It would help keep the heat in better if they switched to a box that actually fit to their food.

Not sure if this is part of the chain's aesthetic, and if it's like this at every location or not... It was even in the bathroom, and clearly people took it too far, because next to the only urinal was a giant "F*** YOU", and it was crossed out by one big line, and not at all removed or attempted to be removed. To me it just seems too chaotic and encourages deviant behavior... This is not somewhere that I would bring my kids or family members, because of stuff like that. The food was ready when I got there, but I still had to stand around for a few minutes before someone finally came along and handed my order to me. I got the Catfish Basket with onion rings. It was about $16. I took the meal home and surprisingly the food was still piping hot when I sat down to eat it. The fish was excellent. There is the comment being made that the food is 'greasy', but I mean, it's fish - and it's fried... what do you expect? ...So, yes, the food was greasy, but that's part of the joy to it. If you want to eat healthy, go to Wegmans or Kroger. The fish was excellent. The breading was crunchy. The fish was soft and tender. No odor. Great seasoning - not too much, not too little. Not spicy at all (trust me, I'd be the first to tell you!) The onion rings were a bit on the less crispy side, not quite soggy, but still delicious none the less. The inner breading was just a bit spongy. They aren't like Outback's fried to a crisp onion rings/petals. The bag contained two moist towelettes and a pair of food grade disposable gloves, for those who indulge in the messiest of foods from here - not for simple fish. Also, when at the counter they wanted to know if I wanted any sauces. I did not, but I appreciated the gesture. I was happy with my service here and with the food overall. The restaurants appeal and decor gets a 5/10, because while the decor was nice and the wood facade of the furniture and structure were great, they were caked in a myriad of profanity and anarchy, as mentioned before about the graffiti-like markings. The food gets a 9/10, while it did have minor issues, it was overall an amazing lunch! The staff gets a 9.5/10 as well - While I was acknowledge once by a passing staff member running food to a table, I still had to wait a little while to be serviced, at the busiest time of day. I appreciate their time and efforts.

I had no idea that they offered a small bowl of complementary ceviche, which is actually really good. Like, so good, that I'm going to have to go back just to get that. The queso was also good. It was the standard white queso that I commonly associate with the Midwest because for the longest I couldn't get it on the East Coast, but it's not queso fundido. They offer Coke from a fountain, which is a huge plus. And the salsa was really good. The chips and salsa were free, so they absolutely get bonus points for that. It was a random Saturday evening when I came in, and they were setting up for what looked like live music and a fun night. The service was really good and parking was easy since it's in a plaza. I had the Cedar Plank Salmon, which was moist and well complimented by the red pepper coulis. My wife ordered the Cilantro Lime Roasted Grouper. The lime from the compound butter was fantastic, though if I were to criticize there was too much jasmine rice. The carrots were also amazing. We started with the excellent clam chowder. It's a little thinner than a traditional New England chowder, but much more flavorful. We saved room for dessert and loved the key lime pie. We had our eyes on the pumpkin bread pudding, but they had unfortunately run out (maybe next time!). A huge shoutout to our bartender, Jesica. She whipped up an Old Fashioned based specifically on my flavor profile requests, and it was spot on. She made excellent recommendations throughout our meal, as well. Service at the bar was really fantastic. The only downside to the evening was our seating; we were at the bar right by the door. It got a little drafty and we caught some cigarette smoke whenever the door opened. Not a dealbreaker, but we'll definitely look to sit further inside next time. We will be back!"

None of it disappointed! My husband and daughter both loved the masala vadai, hoppers and chicken curry. We all enjoyed the real Sri Lankan drinks they had -- Dilmah brand! -- and sodas. It'd be great to add beer to the menu, my guess is they're waiting on the ABC license (there appears to be a bar ready to be stocked!). If you've never had Sri Lankan before, the staff is friendly and willing to field questions and give recommendations. It's always a little hard to describe Sri Lankan food -- but after growing up in Southeast Asia and spending time in India, I describe it as the missing link between the two -- which geographically makes sense! More coconut than Indian, and different spice combos than Indonesian/Thai. It's incredible unique and super tasty! Their menu also has pretty lengthy descriptions, which help you decide. I also loved the Sri Lankan pride on display -- cards on the table with different explanations of locations, etc; placemats with photos of its amazing nature and a TV playing scenes of the greatest hits of Sri Lankan tourism.

It might be the best Italian restaurant I've been to outside the beltway. So while they could do a couple things better, yes, I think 5 is the right number and we will be back, probably often. We were debating an appetizer and our waiter actually suggested we skip it to save room for dessert. We were there on Valentine's Day after all. We were originally going to start with 2 different salads and again our waiter informed us that 1 salad between the two of us would be enough. A restaurant NOT upselling? What? The salad was delicious. Lightly dressed and everything on it was fresh. We got the arugula and fennel salad and that's a combination I really enjoy. The bread service was also good. The focaccia was maybe a touch overworked if I had to find a negative but the olive oil and pepper to accompany it was a nice simple and relatively healthy way to start the meal. My wife ordered the salmon and I ordered a halibut that was a special. Both dishes had amazing flavor. The potatoes had a smoky flavor and were not overly seasoned so the potatoes flavor came through. I like broccoli, but holy cow I wish I knew what they did to their broccoli to make it taste so good. Really really amazing sides. And the fish was seasoned really well, too, and very fresh. My first complaint comes in at this point, though. Both dishes were a bit over in terms of the doneness of the fish. Still, a great meal but it could have been a little better if the fish had been cooked perfectly. On to dessert. My wife got the semifredo. It's in the restaurants name so you figure it will be good. It was very good. I got the creme brulee. When we asked the waiter what dessert to get, he didn't mention the creme brûlée. But I figured it was a special and so I wouldn't necessarily get to try it again. It was just ok. The custard was good. Slight hint of orange. The the topping was not good. It was over brûléed in spots to the point that it was almost burned and then under cooked in other areas so that the sugar hadn't quite set. The flavor overall was good, but I definitely regret my dessert decision. As I mentioned before the staff were delightful -- not enough words to express how great they were. The decor was upscale. More so than I expected for where the restaurant is located. Lots of touches of wood with understated lighting. It felt really elegant and perfect for a Valentine's Day date.
