I had no idea that they offered a small bowl of complementary ceviche, which is actually really good. Like, so good, that I'm going to have to go back just to get that. The queso was also good. It was the standard white queso that I commonly associate with the Midwest because for the longest I couldn't get it on the East Coast, but it's not queso fundido. They offer Coke from a fountain, which is a huge plus. And the salsa was really good. The chips and salsa were free, so they absolutely get bonus points for that. It was a random Saturday evening when I came in, and they were setting up for what looked like live music and a fun night. The service was really good and parking was easy since it's in a plaza. I would highly recommend this place. They were fast and super sweet.

While looking at the menu, we were served the complimentary chips and salsa which was good. For entrees, we had Filete ala Crema, al Gusto Soup, and Tacos (I forgot which one specifically). The serving sizes were humongous! The Filete ala Crema could probably we shared by 2-3 people. I could say the same for the soup and the tacos. We could say that the seafood was fresh - no funny smells and the food was prepared well. The prices were reasonable. We would love to go back for when we are craving for seafood.

From the moment we walked in, the owner, Luke, gave us a warm welcome and seated us immediately. Our server, Lewis, was just as fantastic, his great personality and helpful recommendations made choosing our meal a breeze. Both Luke and Lewis made us feel right at home, but the food was the real star of the show. We'd honestly go back just to chat with those two; the incredible meal is just a huge bonus! If you want delicious food and a team that makes you feel genuinely appreciated, you have to stop by. We're definitely becoming regulars. Thanks for bringing that authentic, friendly Southern hospitality we've been missing! 5/5 stars. You have to try the Shrimp and Grits and the jambalaya. I was doubtful before and then I had a taste. We were the first to enter and the drinks were delicious. I had the hand grenade and it tasted like New Orleans. Could've been a little stronger. The ambiance of the restaurant is small but comfortable. The bar was inviting. Each dish was full of flavor. My Dad demolished the potatoes and greens. The crawfish was tender and my brother thought the grits were thick enough to be perfect. I would recommend this to anyone in the area! Wasn't cafe du monde beignets, more like donuts. Same with the frosted banana bread pudding dessert- not authentic but good and sweet. Very limited parking; however there is a parking lot two blocks away. Also, steer clear of first Fridays (per the waitress) it gets really crowded and they shut down the street.

I won't give them too much flack, since they're a one off business, but I do wish they had portion sizes that were a teensy bit bigger, similar to what they had a year or two ago. Also, my friends and I miss this one pasta that was SUPER good but was taken off the menu ~2022-23.

The service is always great. They are so polite and so nice and they're very helpful with the games. If you don't know how to play them when you wanna try new games. They have hundreds of games for you to pick from literally anything that strikes your fancy and that you can imagine they have. They don't rush you out either so you can order food and order drink drinks and sit there and play game after game after game and they are so nice and kind to you. The look of the restaurant and the ambience is awesome . I like the way it's decorated and I like the way they have the board game set up and the way the tables are all set up. It's definitely an old town field with a little bit of geeky with the board games. The food and drinks are always amazing . I've never had a bad meal there whether it's breakfast lunch or dinner. And the drinks are always well balanced, and so awesome.

We've seen this place many times but it always looked closed to us. We finally checked the website and not only were they open but they were going to have live music as well (Friday). We popped in to get a quick taste and were immediately greeted by Susan, who recommended the Old Fashioned made with their bourbon. Can't say no to that. While I sipped on my first fancy drink in Falls Church, the boyfriend sampled their thyme lemonade with vodka and their cherry mule. Both were incredibly refreshing, although I'll stick to my bourbon. The food situation: You call and order from Pizza Orso and they deliver it to your table and the price just gets added on to your tab. We ordered the fried burrata and the brussel chips. The cheese was good but I'd pass on the brussel chips. They were too greasy and not crispy. Overall, we're very happy to have a good bar within walking distance and would recommend if you're in the area.

We came in over the weekend and it was not very busy. That said, there was only one server there and they were not very fast. The liquor is OK. I really liked the vodka, but everything else was a bit underwhelming. Anything flavored was far too sweet for me. The one thing I absolutely loved was the "pagan shot." Sold for $6.66, the shot changes colors (to blood red natch!) when you drink it, so it's a pretty unique and fun thing to drink. Other than that though, I wasn't too impressed.
